I already open claim to attoney general. i will report to BBB, consumer Affair and all. I bought hose 08/24 then asked for refund 08/25with same condition because the item is not washer hose but they denied because the product is soaker hose, not refundable. there is no damage at all, can not deny for no reason. I called Lois 670-235-9322 Ace hardware cor MP to complain. Lois called Supervisor Angie and Angie lie to Lois that i bought 2 days ago and there is water in the hose. This business hurting inocant people by wrong doing, lie, unreasonable policy.

why nonody explained to me before i purchase this is not refundable item.

I was accosted by one of the staff members accused of stealing and then I requested a manager and she was even more rude to me I have never stolen from that store I am a rewards member there I have never been treated like this in my life this is crazy I need to talk to somebody about this soon

I bought a new Stihl lawn trimmer and asked how to work the line feeder head. Chet was asked to help me and he explained it to me in about ten seconds as fast as he could and walked away irritated that he had to explain it to me.

I asked him again where the replacement line was and asked him again to slow down and explain it to me. He was EXTREMELY rude and impatient with me while he spoke even faster than before and again just walked away.

I’m 70 years old and don’t appreciate being talked to like I’m stupid and by an arrogant ingrate employee. He enjoyed doing it. I told the guy at the counter and he did absolutely nothing. I will tell everyone I know to never shop this store and if I were his boss I’d have fired him on the spot.

I went into the Tilton, NH Ace Hardware store (Cyr Lumber) to buy an EGO lawn mower. They said they had them in stock so I paid for it using a credit card. I asked about assembly and Steve told me that they had one assembled that I could buy.

It turned out that he had sold me a floor model without tell me that it was a floor model or without offering me any discount. They couldn't find the battery and they were not going to give me the side chute, the extra blades or the owner's manual.

When I tipped the mower up to look at the blades, water dripped out of the handle.

Also, the battery compartment had a lot of sand and dirt in it. I got a credit on my credit card and ended up buying the mower at Lowes. If I hadn't bought the mower at Lowes, I never would have been aware of the missing…

I just returned from the Ace Hardware in New Lenox ill. The handicapped parking is just outside the door which is exceptionally convenient since I have a prosthetic leg. But today they have moved the handicapped parking spot and filled it with seasonal flower items.

After speaking with the manager who knew just how to smile and say the right words which only ends up talking down to the other person. I realized that all that was important was the floral sale receipts not the customer.

With words like “it’s only going to be a few weeks” and “sorry for the inconvenience” I knew at that moment the space for convenient handicapped parking was more important to sales than the handicapped. This is very upsetting and also the manager’s sarcastic smile as she bid me a good day was the last straw.…

Not only WAS I a customer of the Ace Hardware store on Pacific hwy & S. 308th St. In Federal Way, WA. I'm a first responder road worker working on a job right out front of this store. We work long hours and at times desperately need to use a rest room.

Which happened multiple times with our workers. We are unable to leave jobs it's due to time constraints and safety issues mainly traffic control. Multiple employees denied the first responders use of the bathroom but also threatened to call the police on one of the lead responders.

I can't imagine what your company has against first responders. But it's clear that Ace Hardware does not value them or the work they do or the common decency any human being in an occupational circumstance could desperately need. Ace employees are rude…

I made the mistake of placing an online order on April 5, 2023 for 4 simple items. Three items were in stock but one had to be back ordered.. Here it is April 17th and I just returned from my 4th trip to the Batavia, NY Ace store after receiving an email telling me that my order was ready.

The order was not ready, the Manager was clueless and denied that his store sent me the email so I called corporate and they told me that someone in the store sent me the email. I cancelled the remainder of the order and will never go back to that store or any other Ace stores.

Take your money and go to a real hardware store that can handle simple online orders.

I was approached by a very pithy, chubby man with a large brace on his right arm. I asked him where were the trickle charge battery for mowers. He looked at me like I was an alien, sighed, and shuffled down the isle and pointed to the battery.

I said yes that’s what I want so he took it to the register, rang it up, took my money, said have a nice day , then THREW my receipt at me, !! I don’t know if this ace is cursed or what but I have lived here for 22 years and I have NEVER been decently at this store!!

So now I will drive right past this crappy Ace and go to Lowe’s from now on.

I look forward to the day that this hardware store goes out of business, because they will. Do not buy anything from them that could potentially need customer service. 3 times I’ve bought defective products from them and 3 times they apologized that they couldn’t do anything.

Most recently an expensive bird feeder failed to perform as intended. The birds were fed through 4 ports that each had a rubber seal to keep the bird seed from coming out when a bird wasn’t feeding. Problem: the birds chewed these rubber seals away so bird seed just poured out onto the ground.

I suggested they take the 2 identical feeders off their shelf so this wouldn’t happen to the next person who buys one. Deaf ears. Write to the manufacturer. No empathy. Not interested in satisfying a customer who shopped there…

I had went to my local ace at 10:00 am on Friday March 3 to pick up tools I would need, I had parked my vehicle in the parking lot diagonally since I had a trailer attached and were no designated parking for vehicles with trailers. As I was leaving the store a customer had pulled in and started to give me dirty looks.

I suspected it was because of the way I parked. it was early in the day and there were no other customers or vehicles in the lot. I proceeded to go to my vehicle and noticed that the customer talking to the cashier and they started to stare at me out the window.

Your email survey promises a $298 Dewalt propane heater for an $8 shipping fee when you take the survey and pay the$8. Then once you do , it changes to nothing more than a POSSIBLE CHANCE to win a $34 dollar electric heater. Total lying scam.

Completely dishonest and misleading showing Ace Hardwares true character and disrespect for their customers. That’s ok. The $8 You stole from me will soon cost you millions. I know nothing of social media but I have 6 kids all of whom are known as influencers or creators each having millions of followers.

I’ll be sure to have them relay my Ace Hardware story to their world wide communities.

I wasn’t planning on filling a complaint until I learned the same thing happened to someone else. I went to my local Ace Hardware store got 1 item and paid in cash. 01 in change but the clerk just gave me the dollar and stole my penny for a charity.

When I voiced my objection he insulted me and was very rude. I simply told him “that’s my penny you have no right to take it without asking first”. That’s when he became rude and called me a “cheap skate”.

That was my penny and whether it goes in my pocket or in a cup for charity is my decision and mine alone. Thank you.

IAce Hardware Independent hardware stores have a sale on Clark and Kensington paint buy 2 get 1 free 2 hours after the local store opened they were out of paint I don't think they ever had it stopped I went to 3 other local Ace Hardware stores and none of them had the required base paint that's it I'm going to home depot

Went to get keys made. Walked in at 9:10. I was the only customer. One employee on the phone, I asked the other man if he could help me out getting keys made. He said I'll be right down. 12 min later no one. Walked up front, 1 guy still on phone, guy who said he'd be right down was watching TV. I asked what happened, he ignored me. I said this is horrible customer service to which he said- goodbye don't come back! No wonder the lot is empty on a Saturday morning. Typically a small town hardware store is the best at customer service. I often stop at the one in New Holstein and they are amazing!! Don't worry I won't be back!! I was in your Grovetown, Ga store yesterday and had a very bad experience with one of your employees. I was shopping for plumbing parts and needed help finding the right parts. Two dIfferent polite employees couldn't answer my questions, so the third one came.

Took my stihl saw for tuneup to Brady,Tx Ace. The one in Mason didn’t have a service guy. Left it and was called next day that it was ready.. when iapproached the service desk, the man behind the counter was not polite.

I had another saw i was going to leave for repairs. My first language is not english, but i try hard to get my need cross. The man was not helpful, really rude. Then when iwent to front to pay, i saw i was overcharged, an employee helpedto get the asst manager to look into it.

I wanted to make you aware of fraud that is being perpetrated using your business/brand product names. I received an email today (10/17/2022) asking me to participate in a customer satisfaction survey for ACE Hardware. 00 . 00 for shipping to receive my "free" drill set.

This seemed fair, so I participated in the brief survey and upon completion, I entered my bankcard info for the shipping charge. com/thankyou My bank immediately flagged the transaction as fraud & contacted me. 00 from my account. The bank had declined the transaction and issued me a new card.

ACE Hardware in Plummer idaho, manager Sebastian is refusing to update product tags on the shelves resulting in a high volume of complaints. 99. 99. He refered to a sign stating the shelf tag may not be the actual price which was printed by sebastian so he would not need to change the shelf tags.

I don't believe this is how ACE does business, perhaps a visit from cooperate like a audit is in order.

I live in Mesquite Nevada 89027 I’m a regular customer of Ace however the last few months when I call to see if they have an item the mailbox is always full I’ve mentioned it several times to the employees but to no avail this means I have to go there I have MS and I’m 74 it’s not easy to get around can someone please unload the mailbox so customers can call in? On June 30,2022 my friend and I went to Ace Hardware in South Lyon and we were buying paint and we also looked at ladders I decided to buy a 18 foot ladder so I asked a employee if we could get help with this ladder and she answerd yes.

At the check out counter I said can you tie it on the car the answer was no so we said we will come right back we have to go home to bring rope back with us. I stayed home and my friend who has to use a cane for walking went back to Ace and paid for the ladder now this 74 yr old lady did not get any help to put a 18 foot ladder on top of the car she was told that was the policy so

So I do have a VERY BIG ISSUE LEAVING ME SPEACHLESS. I brought a chainsaw into Tennessee hardware in Gallatin Tennessee and asked them specifically to look at it , call me and tell me what’s wrong with it .

After 3 weeks of waiting I called and asked what what wrong with it and they told me it was the ignition module which costs $30. Never once did in receive a call about anything else or told that anything else was wrong with it .

Ace sends out coupons which never cover or useable because the westlake store excludes even $5 off all the time. I tried using a 10 or 15 percent coupon on an evo leaf blower and was denied. I cant find a good reason to shop there is I'm always denied use of discounts.

No military or senior discounts are available.

I went to the Ace Hardware of Wallhaven today, in Akron, Ohio, and had an unpleasant experience. The store is located at 1592 W Market St. I've been shopping there for a few years now and it's a nice local place honestly, but not today.

There was this one employee, short guy with short hair, in his mid-20's to 30's who did not act "friendly" as they usually are. Basically, he kicked me out because I had a backpack on. " So I just left.

It's a stupid policy to let them hold my property when I'm just trying to buy some damn fertilizer, but I would have respected it if the employee there wasn't such a douce bag. Any way, it makes me think I should just go somewhere else if the people are rude there.

This is a supply and demand kind of store. Being that they know they are the only hardware store in Oakdale, Ca. they mark up their prices. Overpriced items, very strict and stingy on returns, and not a good variety of items to choose from.

As much as I would like to support my local business, they make it hard being so selfish with their prices and returns. Very stingy on military discounts as well. They only offer discounts on certain items. There is no way of telling which items the discounts apply to.

You only will find that out at checkout which is a very inconvenience. Me being a Oakdale resident, I will not be shopping here anymore. I'll conduct my business at home depot, Lowes and Amazon for now on.

Ordered 3 items online. 2 in stock and 1 needed ordered, all to be delivered when ordered item arrived. Ace cancelled the 2 items within 15 minutes due to out of stock, so I cancelled the 3rd. 00 in Ace gift cards which are now being held hostage nearly 2 weeks later, all while stating in the emails they send that it should have been immediately refunded in the form of an e-gift card, and

in the event it's not would be reissued in 24 to 48 hours. Keep claiming they have either put it back on one of the physical cards or will issue the electronic code. This has been the dance they have been doing for almost a week now.

It's quite simple. I own a small business and was badly in need of a chainsaw for a very important, early morning job the next day. I called the Ace near me in Gig Harbor, WA and they had the one I wanted.

I was in the checkout line sometime after 5 pm 8/9/20 at Ace in Galt CA. The cashier was talking on the phone and at the same time ringing me up. No hello or smile or even eye contact. I interrupted her phone call to tell her I needed 4 bags of red mulch from outside, and please load into my vehicle.

She seemed very pleased to tell me they no longer load into customer's vehicles because a customer punched an employee in the face. Alright then, I just left without finishing my purchase. When I got home I called Ace and asked for a manager.

I got a supervisor instead, but I asked him if it was their policy not to load into customer's vehicles. I explained to him that the cashier didn't need to tell me all the details. we won't be able to do that today.

He never really answered my question…

I love shopping at ACE everyone is so helpful and friendly, however, Cottonwood, AZ. has a mask requirement and this ACE store does not, most customers at this location were wearing masks including myself, 3 middle age male shoppers were not.

I overheard an employee say that a lot of workers called in sick at this ACE store because of Covid and I myself are high risk. You should have a sign at the door that says no mask, no service and enforce it! It's the law! Thank you!

Is it corporate policy or local store policy not to protect employees or customers from Covid-19? Our local Ace Hardware has no protection of any kind. Employees not required to wear masks, no protection for cashiers, no social distancing marks in checkout line and no requirement for customers to wear masks.

It takes very little money or effort to be a responsible citizens and make small efforts to protect peoples' lives. Covid-19 is blowing up nationwide and in my local area. Why aren't you doing what you can to slow it down?

I will be boycotting my local Ace from today on. I have very little choice for shopping in my small town so it will be a sacrifice for me. Our local Wal-mart, All American Do-It and Tractor Supply are making an effort to protect their employees and their customers.…

This past week, I stopped by to check out the 90% off sale. " An employee was outside so I mentioned I wanted two of the Adirondack chairs. He said my choice only applied to the two white chairs. I explained that the sign did not say that.

I spoke with the manager who said that there were small brown chairs that had sold, but the sign did not apply to the other chairs. She finally agreed to sell me one chair for the stated price, but would not let me have two.

I would appreciate your view on this, and a matching chair for the stated price. Thank you for your consideration.

I went to Ace Hardware in N. Portland to purchase items that were advertised on sale in the ad that comes in the mail. When I couldn't locate the items I went to the customer service guy and he RUDELY informed me that this particular store didn't have those items in stock nor would they in the future..

And the advertisement was sent out by corporate and the stores don't have to carry the advertised products. Just curious why you even send out ads if they are not honored. Any feedback would be nice.
