I found a cancer claim tier one cancer claim to $200 not much they paid me on the biopsy $75 the biopsy came back cancer but they refused to do anything they're asking me for 10 years worth of medical history all doctors so if I've seen a hundred doctors they want a hundred doctors full documentation which is bull crap the letter was sent to me on accident someone made a mistake they put 526 2013 and

I have had 3 policies with Aflac for 20+ years. This year I was hospitalized three times, had two surgeries, 2 ct scans, 2 ultrasounds, multiple xrays, labs and meds given. I sent in the claim, waited 3 weeks to call to check the status of the claim I was told they needed a UB04 form, I submitted that, tok them another 3 weeks to even look at my claim.

When I called to check the status they tell me I was only being issued a $200 check. They claim my hospital stays were "obervation" when I was hospitalized for 3 days the first time and 5 days the second time. Clearly not observation.

They did not pay for any of my surgeries or any of the diagnostic testing I had done. TOTAL PIECE OF GARBAGE NOW!! They just take your money and do not care about anything else! was out of work for 2 weeks…

This company is terrible and doesn’t give a damn about their clients. My husband and I have been waiting over a YEAR now for money Aflak kept pulling when we canceled. The lady I speak to always just says “I put it through as urgent just waiting for them to do something” i have tried calling higher ups and get no where.

We canceled September of last year but they continued to pull money for 7 months! Every month I’d contact her and she kept saying she’d take care of it. She finally did her job and the money stopped coming out but now we can’t get that money back. DO NOT USE AFLAC

I was off work since August 2nd was no longer with the company I wasn't fired from the job but they kept asking for a separation letter. I can't get one because I was never fired from the job. I gave you 10 different things but it was never good enough.

I read other reviews from people and they said the same thing happened to them. You guys weren't trying to pay me. Just gave me the run around now I am behind on bills and rent because I was off for almost 2 months with no money.

I give you guys zero stars for the way I was treated. I'll never recommend you to anyone.

When I call Aflac no matter what time of day all I get is We are closed. I even contacted a sales rep who tried to get customer service for me. He couldn’t get anyone to answer either. I’ve been with Aflac for many years but now I’m considering canceling my policy.

I’m very disappointed in Aflac.

Submitted a claim been off work for an accident and even had a surgery. No undated for 5 days. And when I called was told they were busy with other claims that it would take 9/10 days my services are do to be shut off and about to loose my insurance.

To be told they have an estimate date next week 9/10 days later. Sad I wish I had know this before hand, that the sorriest customer services I have ever seen. Nobody can call they all working from home shooting the bull.

I’m paying for a services to help in case something happened and they actually put me in worst shape no doing their job for days. All documents have been submitted I’ve been a customer since 2015 and this is how they conduct business.

I will be canceling and making it my mission for ppl to know how Aflac really operate.…

I tried calling the customer service number, giving them all my verification info; still could not get through. Tried asking for a representative while on the phone; could not get one. Went online to try to chat with an AFLAC rep. Was 11 in a queue; waiting for half an hour as it ticked down one queue at a time until I was at 6 in the queue, then it just shut down completely and the screen disappeared; basically hung up on me.

All I need to do is change my current auto pay with my debit card, to auto pay from my checking account. Simple change, but I can't get anyone to help me, not on the phone, not by text and not online.

I have had this plan for a long, long time. I only want to make one change. I am frustrated and angry that no one will get back with me.

My claim was not processed in a day or even a week a month later, supervisor complaints and it still is not processed. Then I am lied to by both a representative who gives me false information and the supervisor who was supposed to process my claim in 72 hours and still after a week hadn't started it so now they have had my claim a month and nothing has been done

To Whom It May Concern I work construction and live paycheck to paycheck, I have purchased a short term disability through my employer for a “piece of mind”, a security blanket. That security blanket has failed! I had reconstructive hip surgery on 7-31-2019 and the pre-op estimate of time out of work for 10-1-2019.

I was paid out for August and September around 10 days after surgery, I was very thankful. On my post operation Doctors appointment on 9-26-2019 the Doctor gave me a return to work date on 11-4-2019. I had him fill out the continuing disability physicians statement with the 11-4-2019 return to work date, he signed it at the bottom and dated it 9-26-2019, being 9-26-2019, the day of my follow up visit.

I fully understand that at times that a volume in disability claims may be high but at the same time I can't tell you that my bills are at a high and I can't pay my monthly payment. You guys wouldn't have me as a client.

When claim volumes are high that means that you have to put in overtime to keep customers satisfied. It amazes me how you can generate a one day pay but can't keep up with disability claims.

I filed a claim on my short term disability policy on 8/20/19. Unfortunately, my HR department filed the claim before the date of the disability so it was denied. I had them resubmit the paperwork which they did. On 9/16/19 I called AFLAC to confirm a new claim was filed.

They advised that the new claim was filed but it was missing the physician's statement. I faxed a copy of the physician statement and also uploaded same via email that same date. I called for the status today (9/18/19) and was advised the claim was denied because it was previously paid.

When I questioned further, they said that it was not previously paid but the fax copy was illegible. I said I emailed a copy which the customer service representative agreed they could read.

I filed my claim on 8/14 and all paperwork was received on 9/10. I spoke with customer service twice and was given two different dates for the review. One for 9/18 and the one today for 9/23. I let the customer service person know that was unacceptable and that I have bills piling up.

She just gave me a stock answer and had no care whatsoever. You state claims are paid fast and in a timely manner but now I have to wait an additional 2 weeks to have it even reviewed. That is poor customer service and false advertising.

I just want my claim done so I can pay my bills and not lose my house. I Did not expect to have a disability happen to me and I thought I had some backup in case it did but I was wrong.

I have filed a claim for an emergency surgery that occurred on 5/16/19. This was not long after the policy was issued. I had a surgery on 4/29/19 that was already planned before this policy was issued. Therefore, I did not file a claim on that service.

2 weeks later I was rushed to the ER. m. m. 5/16/19. This was a live saving procedure that was NOT planned nor foreseen. I was hemorrhaging from stitches that failed. I filed a claim on this date of service once the UB04 was ready from the hospital so it was around 5/20/19 when I filed this claim.

Here we are, 3 MONTHS later with no decision. These policies are offered as a way to supplement and help pay medical bills. That is why we wanted a policy and I understand the reason that I had something planned that would not be covered.

everyone tells you something different. The supervisors say they are going to escalate your claim for their mistake and never do. It’s like pulling teeth to get a claim paid. They have every excuse in the works to not connect you to higher up or pay your claim.

One main complaint is not being able to reach help as needed. I took a picture this evening of being on hold for over 2 hours before I hung up. I have been working on a wellness claim for awhile now as I have never experienced problems before.

I keep sending in a wellness claim for my accident and cancer, to keep receiving a letter of not covered. I after much time and trouble had an agent tell me that the ones denied was to have been approved.

I have sent in for blood work, mammogram, colonoscopy, dental, etc.. I don't know what else you want because I have sent in many requests. Why is there so much hassle now when it went so smoothly before, I have put in so much time and effort for the wellness plan I see where this is really not worth it.

My father in law (John B. Pitts) passed away on 26 January 2018. He had a two policies with AFLAC and an automatic monthly withdrawal of $17.30 from his bank account. AFLAC was notified of his death immediately and asked to terminate the monthly automatic withdrawals. However, AFLAC continued to automatically withdraw the $17.30 monthly premium for February, March, and April. A Death Certificate and Estate appointment letter was sent certified mail to AFLAC. In May 2018, I called AFLAC to confirm receipt of required documents and inquire as to when the Estate will receive a refund for the premiums withdrawn in February, March, and April. I was informed that Mr. Pitts package was being reviewed by their legal office.

Never able to get a live person within a reasonable time..... the wait is as of today, over 2 hours for a call back. Constantly having to call because the person who looks at the claims apparently is not aware of the benefits, declines the benefits and we then have to fight it. These policies are not free and as an insurance company you should provide good service to your customers like every other major insurance company. Some of us who need to call your 800 number with the over 2 hour wait are sick and either we cannot do it or need someone else to do it for us and your client services are totally unacceptable.

I have been fighting AFLAC for 3 weeks trying to get what is owed to me. I have faxed information. When told i was pretty much and idiot and if I faxed a release to the hospital and a release to AFLAC they would obtain proper information on my behalf.

I have dome this and still NO help. I thought this additional money was to help while you are out of work. I have been back to work for 3 weeks and NO hospital money,. Very unhappy and would like to talk to a member of management

I filed my claim during the first week of May and it is still pending. NOT TO MENTION THAT THEY NEVER REQUESTED PAPERWORK FROM MY DR. THEY SAID THEY SENT THE REQUEST AND I VISITED RECORD AT MAIN OFFICE. THEY SAID AND SHOWED ME THAT NOTHING HAS BEEN REQUESTED BY AFLAC.

I purchased a Cancer policy, find out in this year that I have cancer. I filed a claim with Aflac and now they are refusing to pay. The claim is in "supervisor mode," which a manager is stating can stay indefinitely.

I am not happy with that we always hear about insurance companies taking people’s money and then later refusing to pay the claim. Aflac is doing the same here with me and many other people. Aflac you should want to be better and do your customer right. DO THE RIGHT THING!

My dad Tommy Treadway completed a change of beneficiary on line 1/30/2017 for his Cancer and Intensive Care policy after the passing of my mom. Evidently it was not processed when completed and I was told today that there was no beneficiary assignment for cancer and intensive care policies.

My ex-husband passed away on August 24, 2017. He listed med as his beneficiary on his life insurance policy but my status is "wife" nit ex-wife on the policy. There is also a contingent beneficiary. I sent the divorce papers they requested by email on September 14, 2017.

I have spoken to a person in legal several times, the last time being this afternoon and was told the papers have not even been looked at yet because there are only two claim processors who do that. I have been waiting 6 weeks to get this clam completed to either send the money to me or my son who is the appointed commissioner of the estate per the probate court, I feel this is an extreme amount of time for this claim to be completed.

I signed up for Aflac through the company in which I work. Everything went through in a timely manor required got policy number and statement in the mail saying I was approved also with a date policy would be effective 1 mo.

Later I got a letter from the Aflac corporate office stating my policy was canceled without notice or reason. I now have work related injuries with no compensation. I thought this company was supposed to be their for it's customers?

But I guess I was wrong.
