I rented a car through Costco from Alamo.

First car I picked up was dirty and had a bad front tire with a hole in the rubber and the rim was damaged. Three hours later they replaced it with another car a GMC terrain which they said was a Denali in the book inside.

The car says Denali but it’s not a Denali and that car is dirtier than the first. Sent from my iPhone

Hello, I't s second time that i'writing at Alamo customer service. 2023). I also received the invoice for this, where it is described that the car was returned without any defect or problem. In addition, the official person who accepted the vehicle confirmed such a thing through the technological device and it was confirmed to me that the warranty money will be returned within the days.

Hello, i a, fighting with Alamo for the past 6 weeks. They are not taking us seriously. On May 12th we (my husband and I) we took a shuttle bus from the Alamo station to LAX. Bus driver asked about our Airline (B).

She did not stop there, instead stopped past the regular bus stop in the middle of the street. There was construction going on, she bus exit door stopped right over a pothole. No word from the bus driver to be careful etc.

My husband stepped into the pothole, broke his middle foot… through!! He broke dow because of pain. Bus driver saw it, because she wanted to make sure people get out, turned around and drove off, totally failing to offer assistance etc.

We were informed that tolls would be charged , nothing was said about a service fee. 95. Since we we not informed of this service fee I don't believe Alamo is entitled to charge this. Is this in the fine print of the contract?

After checking I was directed outside to get my rental. An employee stopped me and said I was in luck and got a free upgrade. I asked why and he said the white Ram pickup truck was my vehicle. I told him, I want a car and his reply was”WE HAVE NO MORE CARS”.

I was startled and told him I RESERVED a car. He replied, “SORRY”. At this point my wife and I were tired and took the truck. When I got to my destination 40 mi away I realized the vehicle didn’t even have running boards so my 5’ tall heavy set wife had so much trouble getting in and out of the vehicle…

I am trying to rent a car from Tampa Airport and return it at Disney World. Enterprise,Alamo & National are the only 3 rental companies at Disney World, all under Enterprise. Enterprise and Natiinal have told me the same thing.

I starting this rental attempt on February 7th, the rental that I want starts on March23rd, returning it on March 27th. Something about this sounds weird. Walt Disney should associate with other car companies.

We rented what was 4 wheel drive .. so we could go over pass to see friend with brain cancer. We started slide so we turned around and than I called to ask if 4 wheel drive . They said yes !???

We asked to rent 4 wheel drive to get over pass to see friend with brain cancer . They claimed the car we rented was 4 wheel drive. While driving in snow we started sliding , we went back home .

I called to ask ? Is this really 4 wheel drive ? The lady put me on hold .. finally said yes ! It is !!! So we had a lot snow here house , I tried get out driveway .. all did slide ??

So car sat for days in my driveway!! Until melted I took car back , they charged us anyway ??? Not what we asked for !!!! It was a 2 wheel drive car !!! They told us when we dropped it off … what the hell !!

Never rent from them again … we will stick to budget rental !!!!

I have upgraded a booked car to have snow tires instead of chains. I have obviously been asked to pay extra which i was clad to do so. When i started my journey from Treviso airport Italy i had now issues at all but when driving up north, i realized that i have been given ALL SEASON TIRES which were definitely unsafe to drive on snow roads

My wife and I rented a car from Alamo at the Orlando/Sanford airport on October 6th We were supposed to return it October 12th.

However the day before, we contracted Covid and of course were unable to fly. Our only option to get home was to drive your rental car from Daytona to Lehigh Valley Airport in PA. 66. We weren't happy with this but had no choice.

We drove straight thru that same day feeling absolutely horrible with covid, a 15 hour drive, and returned the car to the Allentown airport actually earlier than we needed to have it back in FL. Alamo is a cheap company from all aspects. I reserved a car from Paris CDG airport and while I travelled from far, they refused to give me the car at the airport. Their staff was highly disrespectful, unprofessional, and corrupt.

Some of them surprisingly were putting me to other companies in the same room. And finally, I had to get a car from another company at a high rate as the last option. No doubt, I will never do any business with Alamo and soon will file a case against them for damages.

Returned by car at Charlotte Douglas ARPT on 7/23 at 7:04 AM. As me and wife left the car I realized I left my Galaxy S9 in the cup holder of that car. I returned to to car in less that 10MIns and the car was moved up and the phone was gone.

None of the workers or Lost and found had no idea and we not helping in any way but to file a report online. I have filed a police report and can ping my phone from using google find my phone and it shows it is that area.

The police went there twice and Alamo was not cooperative and I had them on the phone and the phone was still showing up in or around where I dropped the car off. I have called and went online as instructed but still no phone, I can still see my phone at home using google tracker.

The day before my flight to spokane I called alamo. It was that call that i was informed a do mot rent was on my name and i would mot get the van i rented and paid $900 for. I had already checked in and was given the info for fast. pick up.

Nobody evervconracted prior to my reservation After my reservation and a whole day wasted No answers. No rental van. I am sick toy stomache and. Cant believe. A business tool my $900. And have mot given me a reason or an email or a call back as to why I wont be able to pick up my rental.

I rented a car from your Bradley Airport location. RA 550807727. Customer service was excellent! Associate suggested I upgrade due to intending snow storm and I agreed. At that time I said I might be a little late on return and he assured me it would be no problem.

I just received my email receipt and was charged an extra day for returning at 2PM instead of 12pm. I thought the Alamo experience was very good except this extra charge especially after being told it would not be a problem.

My reservation number was 1413583938. Please let me know what can be done to fix this.

I am very thankful for Alamo and the service you render. The car I rented is excellent. This is not complaint. Rather it is to let you know about what happened so that you can respond. On July 1 I rented a car at the Atlanta Airport from Alamo.

I made the initial reservation through Costco and thought that the cost was reasonable for three weeks, $730. Through the Costco website, i learned that the full-size vehicle I reserved would hold five people and four bags. I am traveling with my wife and adult daughter.

We have three full size bags and three carry-ons. I reasoned that if the car would hold four bags in the trunk then I could put two carryons in the back seat where we would have only one person. Based on the price we decided to proceed with our plans for the trip.

My family and I vacationed on your island from March 13 to the 20, within 24 hours we were robbed of everything. Money, cell phones, charge cards, key to the Alamo rent a car etc. When we picked up the car from Alamo at the airport, the check in gentlemen confirmed we had the insurance.

When we came to return the car, we were told we would have additional fees because of replacing the locks on the car. First, it doesn't cost 500 plus dollars to do that so I had no choice to pay a fee we should not be charged and gave them my credit card.

plus you cannot use your own etoll tag! Charged admin fees plus the toll fees for 3 trips on the east link motorway even though I paid over the phone for the trips! AS YOU SUGGESTED. I rented a car from Alamo Car Rental at Bishop Airport in Flint, Michigan on June 21, 2018 (this is the third time - and last time) that I will use Alamo. and also prepaid a full tank of gas. The first two times I used Alamo, the service was OK. The last time was terrible.

We rented a car in Anchorage Airport on June 18, we waited an hour and a half in line to get a car. They gave a key a car which was NOT what we had paid for. So then we had to go back in line to get the the right car, which they were out of so we had to wait even longer to get the right car!!

We flew into San Francisco airport from Sydney Australia. After a fifteen hour flight we took the shuttle to pick up our rental car. The individual serving us was named Ramon. He found our reservation and then asked if we wanted to uprgrade to a larger vehicle.

I asked him about the additional cost and he stated it was only 10 dollars more. I told him no we would stay with the same vehicle. He then asked the same insurance as last time I said no our travel insurance would cover it.

On Mar 7, 2018, I contacted Alamo Car Rental concerning a charge for a toll already paid for from my California Fastrak road toll account. I was told to provided some proof of the transaction and the receipt can be emailed to Alamo.

I emailed a receipt on March 7th reflecting my Fastrak account number and various debits on that account to include the date in question. On March 14, I inquired again about the status of my reimbursement for an already paid toll and I was told by Jason from Alamo that the matter was resolved and I would be reimbursed in days.

On Jan. 3 I picked up a rental car from Alamo in Sioux Falls SD. Res. No. 1253447339. Everything was fine when I picked up the car. BUT when I went to the gas station to fill the car up a couple days later, I discovered the button you push to make the gasoline cover door open was broken.

Luckily someone knew there was aware there was an emergency lever in the trunk. I used that. My complaint is when I returned the car of course I told them about the broken button for the gas door the agent said.

When I returned your auto in St Louis the driver that took us to the airport did two things which I thought was wrong: first he didn't help us with our luggage and

secondly he drop everyone at the same spot so I was forced to walk to the other end of terminal for my airline. I don't know if the policy at St Louis International prevents drop off the customers at their individual airlines but your driver drove past my airline point and his way back to the car rental.

Your Driver told us this is terminal 1 and named the airlines that service that terminal and that was all.

Poor customer service/hit my 3 year old daughter in the mouth. I opted for the get your car and go option, as well as the daily rental of a car seat. I reached Alamo and still had to go to the counter to ask for help. 'They said, just go outside, someone will help you" Outside, there was a woman unloading from a truck. I saw car seats laying on the ground. I showed her my rental agreement, she said 'just pick any car in this row:" and walked back to the truck to unload more stuff. I walked over to her and asked about the car seat. She said just grab any one of them. All the while, I'm tending to our luggage and 3 year old. I made this confirmation Oct 8 for Oct 15. Very important to be in Daytona at 2 pm. I rent only from Alamo and when I got there the dumb lady working said we have no cars. Then 3 other people came in with the same problem. They had reservations too.

These un-professionals that you have working need to be fired. I finally went to Enterprise and the girl said I will honor Alamo's price and I will find you a car. Within an hour lots of cars came in and she was on the phone calling other clients to tell them how much longer it will take someone to pick them up.

Now she was a real professional. This office in Sunny Isles is bad. Fire all those idiots.

I booked through Priceline for my rental car at Alamo and I was charged 600 dollars more. I dropped the rental car off from Alamo they sold me when I had my own insurance. What a racket don't book through Priceline it's a fraud website, I paid another 600 dollars and now I need a refund. How can I call Priceline corporate or maybe even Alamo to tell them not be listed on such a scam website?

They doubled charged me. I did keep my car longer then expected from September 28 to October 4 but called to drop extended coverage 2 weeks prior. They still charged me the entire time. Alamo owes me 2 weeks of extended coverage because I called and dropped that coverage 2 weeks of having the Alamo rental. I am very disappointed!

I recently had the displeasure of renting a car from Alamo. This was the first time I have ever rented a car and because of my experience, might be the last. I booked my car months in advance for my son’s senior trip to travel from Michigan to Florida. My confirmation number is 1804023863. Being nervous about renting for the first time I called Alamo numerous times to verify I would get a car. We were leaving on the 25th of March so the plan was to pick up the car the evening of the 24th at 7pm. I get to Alamo right on time and there were a lot of people in the facility. A fter flying out and landing 3 hours later in cedar rapids, I immediately called Alamo customer service to submit a claim where I left them. 5 days later after following up numerous times, I am informed no luck on getting them back.

In the wide open by gear shift, the cleaning person would have seen them in order to drive vehicle. Why don't you have system to track who moves vehicles. The sunglasses were worth $140, employee theft has lost a customer for life.

Poor followup on your part didn't help. The fault I have is I left them in car, couldn't call as I was flying, but your fault they were not turned in.
