Last year: When I requested some $, Ameriprise deposited it into a closed account <~~~~???

Now, I called days ago stating I need $$$k but I would like the most amount of money I could withdraw without a penalty. I was told 11k. I accepted. So five days later while I sit on my rear waiting for Ameriprise to transfer, I call and am told the 11k was declined by Amerp. I asked why nobody told me???? No answer. However, without authorization Ameriprise did put thru Triple that amount with large penalty.

Is Ameriprise allowed to transfer funds without the clients consent / triple the funds? (and with a very large penalty). Are you allowed to decline my 11k transaction after already doing the paperwork, but not tell the client it was declined? As I watch my bank balance each day waiting.

Bison Financial Group, a part of Ameriprise is the most incompetent broker I have worked with in 40 years of investing. Ordered them to sell $100k of a certain security in late May. Now in July 7 it is still not sold.

Costing me thousands at this point.

I along with my sister have been having major issues with Kate Ritenberg from your West Spring/Suffield office, we are the executors of my parent’s account and have filled out all paperwork Kate requested for us to remove funds. It has been over ten-days of repeated texts, emails and phone calls with absolutely no response, I find this very unprofessional and do not understand why Ameriprise is not releasing funds.

Our financial advisor was let go two days before your yearly meeting. We meet with another person. Asked questions and didn't get answers. Last question asked was what was the amount of money we started with four years ago and what is it now.

He slammed his hands on the desk at my wife and stood up and told us to leave the office and take our money elsewhere.

I am filing a series of complaints against an Ameriprise financial advisor by the name Michael Halloran. First, Micheal Halloran has made false statements that I had spoken rudely to multiple people in his office, which is inaccurate, the only people that I have spoken with in the last 2 years was the receptionist (who I was very nice to, another advisor in addition to Michael Halloran. In addition, Michael Halloran most recently proceeded to yell, and ridicule, and berate me not only as a client but as a disabled human being with PTSD on the telephone. Also, Michael Halloran devulged our private conversation to a member of my family outside of my household.

Michale Halloran has violated at least 2 of of CFP's ethical standards according to the code of conduct.

I am expressing a concern with Michael Halloran, an Ameriprise Financial Advisor in Fort Worth, Texas. Recently, I had unfortunately experienced unprofessional behavior with Michael Halloran proceeding to "yell" at me on the telephone. In addition, he proceeded to share our personal conversation with other members of my family. I am requesting that Michael Halloran be reprimanded, and that I be issued a formal apology in writing.

My name is Byron D. Lancaster, and my wife (joint account) and I have been with Ameriprise Wealth Management for over 20 years. My concern and NOT my wife's is related to a telephone conversation with Michael Halloran and I had the week of December 6, 2021.

During that telephone conversation with Michael Halloran he was unprofessional, abusive, viscious, and berated me on the telephone yelling that I was fired!! e. money). I never have been spoken to like that in my entire life and I am 60 years old.

On Tuesday August 29, 2017 I called my Advisor Tim MaCarty of Myers Wealth Management 3477 Corporate Parkway Center Valley Pa to discuss some questions. He asked me if I had received a letter from him. I did not. He informed me that Chris Myers owner had put a letter on his desk Monday 8/28 informing him to transfer my account to the pool of newbees to be assigned to someone else from the pool.

I was surprised by this action and the fact I had not been given an opportunity to discuss with Tim. I understand Tim reports C Myers and had no choice in the matter. I am disappointed a Ameriprise Manager would take this action with a customer for no reason.
