Hello,

My 5 year CD matured. The desire was to have the monies transferred into a BMO short term savings account....not possible.

Next best was to have a cashiers check cut and mailed.

My address needed to be updated .... no problem.

The followup phone call to verify the address had been updated is when the frustration begins.

Offshore contact took three phone calls, one disconnection and four transfers with long hold times. I was told to go into a local branch with identification. I explained there is no local bank in California.

Then, I could no longer log into my account and was transferred to Resolution Center with more hold time. They would not access my account without proof of identity, and needed a notarized document which cost $15 which was sent to the Resolution Center.…

Customer service made me sit on hold for a half hour just to repeat the same information to me previously… I needed the limit on my card to go up so I could buy a dam mattress. What goes is a dam bank if I can’t even buy a bed???? I’ve had nothing but hiccups with Bmo.

I have been requesting a payment that was made in error since December 1st, 2022. I made the payment from an account that is not the account I have on file to auto pay. I made this payment before the auto pay showed up in my account.

When I called I was told they would be sending me a check. I waited a couple weeks or so and called back because I had not received the check. When I called back they said it was sent to my old address.

So I changed the address and they said it would be sent to the new address. Again I waited a couple of weeks or so and called again. This time I’m told that my address was only changed in one system not the system that the checks are pulled from.

She advised me to wait if I was receiving forwarded mail. So I did that and still no check. I called again and…

Went to Mundelein branch to open account and in the middle of being helped, I was told to come back in a half an hour because he had a meeting This is the second time I was not helped at this branch. Advise to all ..avoid the Mundelein branch.

I have requested a lien release on a car loan that has been paid off. Today 11/21/22 is the 4th time I have requested the lien release. The last time I requested it was with a man named Zion, I never received the lien release.

Today I spoke with Marsha and she was unsure why I wasn't receiving the lien release because she could see my previous requests. Then she said "oh the VIN number is wrong", I'll correct that now. I asked her twice to tell me the VIN and how she knew it was wrong.

She said the previous person "Zion" had the VIN number incorrect but she wouldn't repeat it back to me. I told her what it was and she said yes that one was correct. I felt like she was lying to me just so she didn't have to figure it out because when I spoke to Zion last time he repeated it back to me and…

I cannot access the money on my card because my chip is malfunctioning. I called and got some lady that spoke Poor English and gave very vague reasons on what was wrong and how it could be fixed. He answer was since your ID verification is not working you will need to go to the physical office to get verified.

I need to access my funds and nothing has been done to fix this.

Lake Geneva Wisconsin Branch. Went in today with my uncle (90 years old) because my aunt just passed away and I needed to get his affairs in order. Spoke with a teller and informed her that we needed to speak with a person regarding my uncle's account.

The teller informed me that there were NO bankers in the building today, but that "her manager" could help. Saw a woman sitting in an office laughing and talking with someone that was obviously a friend of hers and not a customer, at least I didn't see her conduct any business.

My uncle and I waited about ten minutes and after her friend left she asked how she could help. I explained that we needed to update my uncle's account now that my aunt had passed and she immediately asked if we had an appointment; didn't care in the slightest about…
