We ordered a Console and paid on 1/6/23; Picked up on 1/27 at store. Upon opening the shelves, we discovered that they were too long and did not fit. They sent another piece about a week later that was seriously damaged.

We told the delivery people we did not want either piece but they would not take both back. Upon calling their customer service, they argued with us that we should not have kept the piece (that their delivery people would not take) and we could not get a refund.

We spoke to a manager and finally got them to come and pick up the piece. They told us our refund would be credited to our visa, but it never was. After a couple weeks, I called their customer service to inquire about the refund - they said they would review what happened and get back to us within 24 hours. They…

The worst furniture shopping experience ever

To whom it may concern...

What a waste of my time!

First, your online site said I would be receiving my new Elevations Charcoal Coffee Table, Order #: 2001297962 on March 17, after confirming with one of your reps who was almost impossible to understand. I took the day off from work on the 17th to receive the shipment, which never arrived. I called your customer service again... India, I'm guessing? Again, hard to understand, not to mention cultural differences like the fact that a working person needs to be at home to let the delivery guy in the building in the U.S. The Bob's supervisor thinks that your furniture can safely be left on the street till I get home, I guess.

Where to start ?? I ordered the Summit dining room set last September 2021 . It was supposed to be in within 4 to 6 weeks . It never cane . Then I would repeatedly get enails and texts saying .

Good news call to schedule delivery! I woukd do that only to take a day off from work and Wait and ait and call and they would say oh no its still on backorder ! This happened three times to me !!

Jump ahead to march 2022 . Finally delivered . White glove service !!! My three year old was sitting under the high table as kids do that and came out screaming and crying! He had a good gash on his cheek !

Scheduled a deliver for 12/21. Was called the day before deliver and given a 2 hour window for delivery. Received a phone called 2 hours earlier than window given. ” Left the unassembled bunk bed on porch. Managed to put bed together, exactly a week later one of the planks of wood broke… see attached picture.

WOULD GIVE A ZERO IF POSSIBLE. This is complaint sent to CEO, Mr. Barton, at Bob's First let me say it's shameful that I retrieved your email & mailing addresses from a Facebook site dedicated to Bob's Furniture Nightmares. That alone speaks volumes! I have had nothing but problems after purchasing bedroom furniture on 10/9/2021. I was enthusiastic, decisive & impressed with the salesman. I even returned to add another piece to my order. That's where it ends.

My bedroom set was delivered 11/3/21. Unfortunately, my brief inspection didn't yield the critical findings on closer inspection on subsequent days. My wife and I ordered a set from the website that we did not know had been discontinued. We originally ordered it because we both liked the Melrose sleeper sofa and accent chairs. When we called to add the loveseat we were then to that the set had been discontinued and that we could try and call around to other stores to see if they still had the Melrose set on the showroom floor.

Which none of them did because as I previously stated the set had been discontinued. We were assured that our order would still be filled which was the sleeper sofa and two accent chairs. Although we would have to wait for the accent chairs.

RECLINER PURCHASED IN DECEMBER OF 2019 BROKE. REPORTED IN NOVEMBER OF 2020. SERVICE TECHNICIAN SAID THEY WOULD REPLACE THE ITEM, BUT DELIVERY WOULD NOT BE UNTIL JANUARY 22, 2021. DELIVERY WAS PUSHED BACK UNTIL APRIL 16, 2021 NOW I AM BEING TOLD DELIVERY WILL NOT BE UNTIL MAY 30, 2021.

I HAVE HAD TO SIT IN A BROKEN RECLINER NOW FOR ALMOST 6 MONTHS. THIS IS TOTALLY U ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE BBB AND THE CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCY IF THIS MATTER IS NOT RESOLVED PROMPTLY.

Hello, My names is Dawn Pettigrew I've purchased a bedroom set for My 15-year-old daughter (Order# 13876516 and Customer # 13876516) on July6, 2020, I've experienced harsh treatment from the staff from the Woodhaven Queens location from day one. The staff wasn't pleasant and rushed me into making a decision.

I finally decided on a Bed Room set and they informed me that one of the items was on backorder (August 16,2020) Moving Along,I received my other items a week later, only to find out my box spring to the bed was also on backorder. I then proceed to call the store (I was on hold for 72 mins) to find out that my box spring will be delivered the following week.

We purchased a mattress set & bed frame from Bob's in July 2019. Before buying the mattress, we asked the online-chat specialist if our queen mattress would fit the queen mattress we bought, she told us 'It should fit all our Queen Mattresses' -- This was a blatant lie. There was 10 inch gaps all over the frame and after 2 months, the bed frame broke. Shortly after my wife and I experienced chronic neck and back pains and it all pointed to Bob's poorly made furniture. They sent a 'technician' to inspect the mattress and the second he sat down, he said it was defective.

Bob's Furniture pushed us to get a new mattress from them which we declined given how their service is horrible and their overseas mattress are faulty and cause personal injuries.

In March of 2019 I purchased a Dining room table set, I had requested that I be home when they delivered the furniture to ensure my furniture wasn't damage. when I arrived home I noticed chip pieces of wood outside of my porch main entrance door.

I opened up the screen door to see that the door had been pushed back so forcibly it made the wooden frame chip and the screw coming from the door spring. I had made several calls to the Bobs headquarters to have this rectified but received no assistance 3/15 and 3/18.

l left several Messages, sent the pictures of the damages. Here we are 7 months later and still they have not made contact with me regarding this matter. Since not receiving a response within a timely manner I had to have the door repaired.

I have had nothing but issues with getting furniture delivered, damaged furniture, the furniture being not in stock to begin with, customer service setting up delivery dates, only to be transferred back to store and told customer service should not be setting up delivery dates, and then told just the opposite by the store manager in Wilmington Delaware. the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I just want my god damn furniture delivered (not damaged) in a timely manner. If this company cant handle this get the hell out of the business. Once in my home, the delivery guys seemed confused about how I wanted it set up; then I realized why. The console is NOT mobile – it is permanently attached to the loveseat. ) later and he confirmed his error.

They did offer to take the furniture back. In addition to not being what I wanted, the delivery men ripped the end off of one of the power recliner wires, so that would have needed replaced as well. When I got a call back from the manager, Norm, a little while later, he offered $200 off if I chose something else in the store.
