I recently moved address from Lincolnshire to Blackpool Lancashire. I thought all was going smoothly when I received a letter addressed to myself at my new address stating that my ' GAS AND ELECTRICITY' had been set up at my new address ( FLAT 4 SHAFTESBURY COURT 43-45 SHAFTESBURY AVENUE BLACKPOOL FY29TN).

I PHONED BRITISH GAS ON THE 25TH OF OCTOBER TO GIVE METER READINGS AND SPOKE TO A LADY CALLED 'JANE ANDREW' SHE INFORMED ME THAT MY GAS ACCOUNT HAD BEEN SET UP AT FLAT 8 SHAFTESBURY COURT SHE DIDNT KNOW HOW THIS HAD HAPPENED. I WAS ANNOYED THAT HIS MISTAKE HAD ARISEN AS IT HAS PUT BOTH MYSELF AND THE PEOPLE AT NO 8 IN AN AWKWARD POSITION. JANE ASSURED ME THAT SHE WOULD SORT IT OUT WITH SOMEONE WITH THE AUTHORITY TO SORT THINGS OUT.

TODAY MY NEIGHBOR BROUGHT YET ANOTHER LETTER FROM…

My experience with British Gas has been the worst customer experience I have ever faced. I am a small business helping young people discover their creative side in a deprived area of West Lancashire. Firstly I tried to open a business account with British Gas which took me over 3 months, I first logged a complaint with them in June 2014 and here we are 8 months later and still no resolution. I then tried to open an online account, a simple online account. I was put through to several experts who knew less about computers than my 1 year old son. They repeatedly told me the problem was solved but time after time it wasn't.

My complaint was about the overall incompetence of the staff, the complete lack of compassion and total lack of understanding of just how important a businesses owners…
