They are available and more than willing to help when you start the process. After you have been approved they service starts to go down hill. They dropped the ball and messed up my closing. They called and told me everything was complete and ready to go.

At 4:30p the night before my closing someone called me asking for missing info. I could not get the info until the next morning and had to bust my butt to fix what they messed up. Since my closing the Caliber and the title agency they use, messed up my taxes.

Caliber messed up my recast and they ARE STILL WORKING ON IT!!!! I have been trying to do my recast since February 2022 and it is now July 2022. I have had the hardest time getting my loan officer to return my calls since they dropped the ball the night before my closing.

I have paid my mortgage payments on time and made payments on principal. I received a statement indicating i was passed due and was reported to the credit bureau that dropped my score from 780 to 605. I called caliber and ask how I could be behind in payments.

Caliber said ,first, there was a payment in November that was withdrawn by my credit union. I checked my account and the money was withdrawn and showed no reversal of funds. I called again July 7th and was told that May and June payments were reversed by my credit union.

I called DCU because I saw no reversal of the payments accredited back to my account. I had both DCU representative and Caliber credit department on the phone. DCU told Caliber there was no reversal of funds from my account.

I have made payments on time and got a statement from caliber that over 3000 was passed due. Caliber reported to the credit bureau I was passed due. I called caliber and they said my payments were returned to my bank.

I called my bank and the funds were deducted from my account and no return payments were redeposited. Caliber customer service could not find the problem.

I have been with Caliber Home Loans for many years. I recently took out a HELOC to buy a home in TN. I found out that Caliber Home Loans made a mistake and recorded TWO titles and also my name is wrong on one of them.

This is holding up my HELOC loan from happening! I have been calling, emailing, writing letters and mailing and then even Facebooked a local office that does not even exist but a guy named Scott who works for Caliber is only employee to even get back to me.

It has been OVER two weeks! This mistake is THEIRS NOT MINE and it is truly wrecking my life and the woman I am purchasing home from in TN!!!!! To not get even a call back in over two weeks?

If I dont pay my loan they call!! Why cant they fix this ASAP???? I am getting rid of them asap! No more Caliber for us.

As I have a Caliber Home Loans mortgage that never has been late ever, I was stuck in Tucson Arizona for Christmas, due to someone who had stolen my Debit and charge cards. Waiting all weekend for Monday so I could write a check for money to get me threw till a new debit card could be mailed out to me. My Tucson bank declined my desperate need to cash a check to get Food, Gas, and a little living money. The bank I trusted in Let me down, Big time. Left me homeless with out money to eat and not enough gas to get me home.
