I purchased my unit in March 2019 after doing the research, carrier was rated in the top 3.
In July 2020 made a service call to Sears Home services due to low cooling, I was told it was low in freon the cost was $440.95 for refrigerant and labor July 2022 down 3lbs freon and capacitor replaced June 2023 down 6lbs of freon dye was placed in the system to discover inside and outside coils leaking July 2023 both coils replaced under warranty Aug 2023 unit not operating placed a service call diagnosis -compressor malfunction needs to be replaced.
This unit has been nothing but trouble for the onset, I would like to propose that this unit be deemed a lemon and replaced at company cost
One of the worst quality services provider company.They only think about sales of their products do not think about proper services to customer.Are you fool .The company who will give best service will remain always best for the customer.Think about it

We've had two different Carrier Furnaces in our Portland home of 40 years. The current Carrier 95 gas furnace was installed in August of 2014. Recently it has been starting up and then shutting down (apparently overheating) and then starting up again.
Our serviceman said it was a faulty heat exchanger and that it was under warranty from Carrier but that the labor is not covered and that it would cost us approximately $2500 to replace! We are terribly frustrated that a manufacturer's defective part is burdening us with a $2500 service/labor bill!
This will likely be the last time we purchase a furnace through Carrier!
After several months of waiting for my Carrier Remote Thermostat, it was installed in August, but it would never connect with my phone. In Oct. a new thermostat was installed but still cannot be controlled by cell phone. I've paid $1100 for a remote thermostat that no one can get to work.
Would someone please contact Kennedy Heating and Air and get this issue resolved. For 5 months I have not been able to control my thermostat remotely.

i did what tech support ask me to do by replacing a bad txv valve , and it failed they want me to replace it again. that requires me to reheat the ssame brazing point which will weaing the joint .
I had ask for the to approval of a new coil replacement and they said no they only goint warrenty a new txv vale . Iam very diisappointed with the warrenty department. sgn gerald pegg
This complaint is about the unit that I paid 4,937.00 actually I thought it was over $6,000.00 and every year I have to pay a tech to come out and fix one thing or another. And this is another year that I am dying because the a/c is not working again.
I am a senior that lives with Multiple Sclerosis and this is horrible. I buy a brand new unit and year after year I have problems with it. It use to be a good name but obviously it is not anymore and my unit was suppose to be a better one.

We purchased a carrier air-condition unit two years ago we also purchased extended warranty. The unit started leaking from the coil instead of sending a new unit we were told that they would send a coil replacement. After 900 dollars I free.
We still have not received a coil and ha e need told that the service to replace the unit would be nearly a thousand dollars. That is nearly the cost of the entire unit again. I feel your product is inferior and that I am being financially penalized.
It has been nearly two months without the use of a product t we purchased. I am requesting that you stand behind your product as these gIlurea are yours. 08/01/2020 Dear Bryant /Carrier: I bought two Heat pump/AC systems. For both systems, the outdoor units are Bryant, and the indoor units are Carrier. They were installed by the same contractor Michael Bonsby HVAC, roughly the same time. 1) was installed in my home in Columbia, Maryland on 06/09/2014.
It had a water flooding problem in 2015. On 11/07/2015, the system was replaced free by Michael Bonsby HVAC. On 11/21/2019, the system was found short cycling and was found leaking refrigerant. Now it need to be refilled every year.

We bought a home from Ball Homes in Knoxville TN. The home was brand new on Sept 14, 2018. We went to Florida due to a family members terminal illness. Upon returning our upstairs unit was not working and it was over 90.
We called ball homes and explained we had been out of town and they informed us that the unit was only warranted for one year for parts and labor.
First of all we do not feel it just happened to go out one week after warranty ran out as we returned on 24th. We also think it probably went out some time ago as we were gone 3 months but either way it seems a little suspicious or a lack of good product.

It is most regret to inform that I purchased a carrier Ac18kDurafreshNeo Split 3 star From M/s. The Associated Marketing Agencies Karaikal 0n 18.5.2019 invoice No: 01254, whereas the Ac releasing continuously a bad smell like burning. I informed the supplier about this kind of problem but no action taken from your customer care /mechanic. Despite the supplier informed to your concern people ,they ignored to attend the said fault.

In September 2014 our Carrier air condition unit failed to work. Under warranty AMG replaced the condenser in October the air con then worked but didn't seem to get as cold as some houses I've been in. I went to use the air this week found it didn't work again so went to get it regassed but the unit was full just phoned AMG but because the unit is now out of warranty.
they say I would have to pay. My concern is that a condenser should last longer than 2 years and that the problem was first reported under Carrier warranty, so why a charge?
My outside heat pump units condenser fan stopped working last Friday 8-12-16. I called my service contractor and he verified the problem and was told he would contact his supplier to order a new motor (which is still under warranty) on Monday 8-15-16. My service contractor called me back on Monday and told me Carrier customer service informed my contractor they don't have the part needed to repair my unit and don't have any idea when any motors will be available.
I personally called carrier on hearing this and talked to Stephanie (a senior employee with carrier) she said they don't talk to customers only suppliers. Moving American jobs to Mexico is the problem! I will never be inclined to purchase carrier products and or tell anyone to do so. In fact I am going to do my best to tell people to boycott this company. Corporations are not people.
People are people and America suffers for nafta and corporate greed.
Traveling on business right now but I wanted to show my support for the good people of Indiana. I will never buy another Carrier product again.
