In the beginning of February I brought my truck into Butler Caterpillar of Jamestown ND primarily for a stalling issue, my vehicle was losing fuel prime while driving and I also had some other concerns depending on the diagnosis. After hearing that it was my fuel lift pump and the price was reasonable I asked them to look at the oil leak and asked for an estimate for my exhaust manifold leak.
The oil leak turned out to be an easy fix with some o-ring seals on the injection pump, and the exhaust manifold had two broken studs. The price to fix the manifold would be $1200 if they could replace the gasket, studs and hardware, and drill 2 studs, $2400 if the manifold had to be replaced using the black manifold from caterpillar, and
