I am done with this company. I reported this light pole breaking apart multiple times with last few years. They only sept people to put a rope around the crack. 77084. Because of this light poles 77084 Jamestown have. I electricity.

Also I reported lot of huge trees around power lines on little York and Langham where the big breakage happens because of the large trees got caught with the wires. This would have not happened if Simone did their job.

They put a bandage on those poles and boom. They collapsed. Other areas got hit really hard and no light pole broke.

Everytime it rains a little bit the power goes off and the knew that im one of the customers who lives on a nabulizer i need the electricity and the dont care and when ever we call they said there is a tree falled on cables which is the same issue rhey said everytime

C. is a General Contractor with our business located at 3801 Knapp Road, Pearland, TX 77581. In early June we had 2 heavy storms. The first storm knocked out our power and fried two of our HVAC units which cost thousands of dollars to replace due to tree branches on the lines (not on our property).

The second storm (a week later) the tree branches knocked out a transformer and our business had to close down for the day, again costing thousands of dollars. 23 to ask them to please come cut the branches of the tree as well as all the branches in the power lines on the North side of Knapp Road.

There are tree branches in the lines as well as trees pushing the poles over. 23 and was told that a time for their response was not noted yet. 23 and was told it can take up to 4 weeks.

My power has gone out 5 times the past month. 4 of the times there was no wind or rain. I live on 9547 Spiralwood Lane in the Willowood subdivision. The other side of the street never loses power. It is always the same side.

The same 64 houses or so are always losing power. What is going on? Why can't centerpointe fix the problem?

Horrible service! consecutive Outages in short periods of times(in seconds) puts all of our appliances and HVAC systems at risk of breaking Down! Hot sunny summers to blizzards and rain and storm doesn’t matter, they can’t handle anything! And don’t think by switching to another company you are safe!

CenterPoint is the mother company of all companies out there! Cut your profits for one year and just update your systems and grids instead of raising the price on people for what you should have done with our money years ago!

I will be contacting the governors office after this complaint! Horrible company!

We lost electricity on Sunday June 18 where transformer blew up. Again tonight June 21 at 9 PM lost electricity and it is 12:22 AM June 22 and no electricity. The same area and houses lose electricity every time. Home on other side of our street (Red Creek Cove Ln) and, the street leading to Red Creek do not loose electricity.

This had happened multiple times. Why our system is so unreliable? It is unacceptable with all the heat. What a shame.

Everyone is rude from the technician to the customer service. Technician showed up, didn't even want to come to the apartment, just said for us to turn the stove gas on until the burners light up. It didn't work for about 20 minutes before he finally decided to come up to the apartment him to actually look at it, then have to fix the issue. Didn't show up again after the burners finally started working, just hung up immediately and left. Would've saved himself time to just come and look at the problem first instead of being an asshole.

Customer service is also terrible. A technician was supposed to be onroute, they tried to play it off like he's stuck in traffic after I had been waiting for over an hour and a half. Finally someone gets transferred to my call to tell me he's at an…

Two complaints: I just started paying gas w/centerpoint, I assumed I was on auto pay and was not - my fault- but after two bill cycles they cut me off without a call ahead to let me know. I complained and payed the recconect fee on top of another charge (totaling something like 60 bucks).

2nd - The next day they were suppose to give me a 30 minute window for the reconnect appointment, they showed up 10 min after the call and left I arrived right after they left. I called and they said its now another 50 dollar fee.

The people next door are doing some electrical work and a CenterPoint tech needed to get into our backyard He just walked into the back, opening our gate and not asking permission. We have a small dog that is a runner and if he had been in the backyard, he would have bolted.

Your tech also kept the gate open when he walked to the front door to tell us he needed access to the back. Again, if we had let the dog into the back he would gone. We live close to a busy street and more than likely the dog would have been run over.

I cannot tell you how angry I am about this. I certainly let your tech know I was mad and I have to assume this sort of arrogant attitude is part of your corporate culture. You have a virtual monopoly so you don't care but it reflects on all of you and no doubt one of…

Neighbor had gas line work done to install a home generator. The CenterPoint crew, or the CenterPoint contractor, included 3-5 men and they were on site at my neighbor's address, 919 Bonnie in Glen Kingwood Tx most of the day 3/30/2023.

The crew threw their trash, including 5-8 empty plastic bottles and aluminum cans and food wrappers, on the ground in front of my neighbor's yard along the street. They used a large, plastic bucket to bail water out of the hole they dug.

When they finished, they simply threw the bucket on the ground along with their garbage. I have photos. This is pathetic.

I called in on Today To see If I Could get A Technician to come out to Light The Pilot Light on My Water Heater. I was told by My Home Warranty Technician that After installing A New Control Panel that The Pilot Light Failed to Stay on because There was not enough Gas going to The Line to keep The Pilot Lit and To call Centerpoint I Have been without Hot Water for 3 weeks Centerpoint never came I am 77 Years Old and Ineed Hot Water

Center pointy energy technician came to our house last month to cut back on our gas services. The heater for our house was working just fine before they came to restore services here. the moment he left the heater was not working anymore.

When I called centerpoint they said I need to get a plumber out to fix it, but center point energy was the one who messed it up, and had it to where it did not work anymore. Why should we have to pay for something that the technician lied and said it was working before he left.

We as tenants did not touch anything

I got it fix . I call back on 1/20 they scheduled 1/21 for 8am and 8pm no called to allow any updates . I called and was told multiple times that someone was coming. Then at the last minute I called again to check in after 8pm and they started someone was coming to my home at 10:30pm at night .

I was very upset because I already missed a wedding and sat in a cold house all day. At that time the rep advised she understood that I was a senior citizen and promised someone will be at my home first thing Sunday morning at 8 am.

Now it’s Sunday 12pm and as of now after speaking to two different reps I’m told my request has been push back once again for other emergencies Which I would believe mine is to. I’m in a house with kids meaning I have to have hot running water on top of living…

I applied for new services. They told me I had to pay a 90 dollar deposit in which I did. Then when it came to turning services on they said I had a old bill of 74 doting which I don’t remember.

That’s how old it is. So I ask can they put it on my 1st bill. They refused so they rather me and puppy stay in a cold house rather than bill me for 74 dollars. I can see if it was a lot and recent but it’s several years old and less than 75 dollars

Over the last month and just a few minutes ago, just before the start of the Astros vs Yankees the power went off and came back on immediately. I would say this has happened a couple dozen times. What happens is it shuts off all of my technology, especially my TV which I have to reboot each time. Very annoying. My address. 26818 Cobble Meadow Ct. 77433.

I had a scheduled service for a gas reconnect. I opted for a 30 minute ahead phone call when the technician was on his way so I could run errands on my one day off and make it to meet him.

He sent the call ahead at 10 o clock and I have waited for 5 hours now not knowing when he’s showing up for no reason, missing all of my important things to do. Phone service was kind but no help at all, still not serviced and will probably be looking for a different provider after this inconsiderate experience.

If you say your gonna show up in 30 minutes be there because people have things to do and can’t wait at the technicians pleasure.

On September 24th I called Center point for a gas leak. A few hours later someone came out to turn the gas off and removed the meter. The same day the plumber came out to removed the old wire out gas pipe.

the next day Thursday the inspector came gave the ok that everything was good. I was told the inspector was to let Center point know it's all good and the meter will be returned. This is Friday the 30th .

I still don't have the meter. Now it's 8pm. Not happy at all.

Each day this week 9/26,27,28 at around 7:30pm the power has gone off and back on in a few seconds. Very annoying as it causes my computer, tv, Alexa etc to shut down and hav to wait for my modem to reboot.

I got a solar system installed, which I paid $75,000 for it. The installation was completed July 15 and a complete application was filed on July 17 with Centerpoint Energy to inspect and activate. It has been 58 days since the application was filed.

Centerpoint Energy refuses to activate the solar system. Most applications are activated within a few days of application. In Dallas, TX, the solar applications are activated within 1-2 days.

In summary, I paid $75,000 for a solar system that I cannot use because Centerpoint Energy refuses to activate it.

I had a major power issue at my house and it took Centerpoint 3 days just to come out and disconnect my meter. They originally gave me a 2-4 hour window. Now, I am needing a reconnect and after a dozen calls and multiple different 4 hour window arrival times, here I am going on day number 3 with no power. Centerpoint is a no-show.

Very disappointing as a customer to receive this kind of service. They have absolutely NO REGARD for anyone else's time or situation. They simply don't give a F*&K. I wish everyone at Centerpoint would get fired starting with the lazy technicians.

I recently installed solar panels. I am for all forms of energy. I also have a whole house gas generator. I started the solar panel process 6 months ago. It took 2 months for Centerpoint grid operator to approve the project.

The panels have been installed for 2 months. Centerpoint says it will take another 2 months or longer for them to come inspect and turn the system on (essentially, they do not want to turn the solar panels on) because it competes with their large energy grid suppliers.

When I complained to ERCOT (Complaint No: CP2022070546] - Michael Coelho), Centerpoint said that now would take 3 months to come inspect and turn the system on. Centerpoint does not want solar systems in their grid and do anything to discourage and delay connecting homeowner solar systems to the grid.…

Scheduled a gas meter reconnection at 10am August 1st. Was told a technician would come at before 5pm if I paid an additional fee. Later told they would come before 8pm. Technician never showed up and as a result our 10 unit combo complex was without gas for another day.

Due to health and medical expenses, we recently moved to an apartment and sold our mobile home. There was some glitch with the moving out process and we got a letter saying the gas bill from the house we sold would be in my husband’s name as of the sold date. Which obviously it should be in the new owner’s name. The rep I spoke to was a sarcastic and impatient person, didn’t seem very patient with me trying to explain how we should no longer get a bill from the house we sold. Hopefully it is resolved and won’t see a bill but the rep’s attitude put me off.

I’d also like to say we were less than impressed with the CenterPoint Home Appliance repair program when we owned the mobile home, we ended up putting in a new heating element for the dishwasher ourselves since they refused.

; Suga Land, TX 77479. 11:00 pm is the estimate time to restore the energy. Center Point claimed. At 8:00 pm (See photo 1). A gentleman knocking on my door who told me that the problem is in the Unit/Electrical Box located at the corner of my in my back yard.

(Also, I saw a big utility truck when I opened the door). The gentleman asked my permission to go around to my back yard.

Also, the gentleman measured the door of the backyard. He claimed that the door is too narrow for replacing the defective Unit/Electrical Box. They start cutting the trees (See photos 2) but they don’t stay that long. I asked gentleman about the estimate time to restore the power, he said: 4 Hours to get a replacement for another Unit/Electrical Box. After that hey left.

We have lost power in the 77058 heritage town homes area on in off for the last five days. Center point has done a poor job and 64 people have been affected by this outage. Food is being spoiled , residents left in cold homes and no problem has been resolved.

I have been trying to get a natural gas line laid since November the 1st, 2021.

A service guy came out a week later & said they would lay the line in two weeks, they nv came, called Center Point 3 more times & was told they would send an email to get the line laid & someone would be contacting me, they nv did. I spoke with center point on Dec the 16th they gave me a move in confirmation number 101038119 & said center point would be out to lay the gas line the next day. A service guy named Brad came out said he was there to set the meter, he said he couldn’t do cause I didn’t have a gas line. This company had a strictly rule for customer. Tried to reconnect my gas service but they did not have any other options for us to work with. They only have all day window time to get the tech guy come in do the service, no exactly time for us to wait.

We have to work and daily job too. The company websie very confuse and bad on the explanation, could not find what I've charged for. Everytime I call customer service tool more than an hour wait time very frustrated. I wish I can give an 0 on my ratiting.

Have been trying to upgrade gas meter for over a month. After being on hold for almost an hour on 3 different occasions, I was finally contacted and given instructions on how to make the upgrade payment and schedule a service appointment of November 30th.

After taking off from work and waiting all day, since I was given a time frame between 8am and 5pm, no one showed up. I called, and of course spent half an hour on hold, was told the technician would be working til 10pm and would complete my upgrade.

It's 9:50pm, so I'm assuming he won't be showing up tonight.

I have tried for weeks to get someone to call me back regarding a meter upgrade for a pool. I understand they have to send me an email to pay before it can get scheduled and I can’t even get an email.

I talked to a supervisor Josh on 11-3 and he promised he would get my issue escalated and someone would call me within 5 days. NOTHING! I called back on 11-10 to find out he never put in any notes as such so it was escalated again by Veronica.

I was told I would get a call hopefully get a call that day but absolutely no later than Friday and again NOTHING, I called again today and was told it was escalated again. WE WILL SEE. I have left no less than 25 messages at 713-945-2117 for over a month and NOTHING, I have wasted over 25 hours just being on hold trying to get this issue resolved.

I am a resident at 6311 Gulf Freeway (Bray's Crossing) in Houston, Texas. It has been a plethora of power outages at this residential community where the majority of residents are disabled; wheelchair-bound, handicapped and with OXYGEN tanks!

Service was interrupted, Thursday October 28, 2021, at approximately 4:00 pm, where service was promised to be restored by 12:00 am (midnight)--after having promised all different times that day. It was a lie! Power was NOT RESTORED AT ALL. Tenants had no air, no heat, no electricity, no hot water, no light and most importantly, no definite time of restoration. We had lies and no answers.

Fist of all I am assisting my boss with her daughters funereal… I forgot to pay my bill ($40) & I was cut off.. ok understandable.. but the service agent that was sent out to my house was rude & I don’t appreciate being talked to crazy in my house.

It actually made me feel uncomfortable especially since I expect people to respect my place. I received a call stating that a technician was on the way. He rings the doorbell & I’m immediately greeted with what took so long I have other orders to fill..

My response was, if I had gotten to the door any faster then I would have broken a leg there’s no way possible I could have come any quicker.. He (Marvin) then says, well the house isn’t that big, I could have left.

CenterPoint Energy repair service is terrible. My power has been out since 4am, Tuesday September 14,2021. It is Thursday September 16, 2021 and every time I call, no one has any information. When I log on to my account, for the past day and a half, no matter the day, it keeps saying the repair would be completed in four hours.

At 8am this date, the message on my account and the automated system has been saying a Our crews are currently investigating the cause of the problem and I still dont have an answer when will my power be restored.
