So many complaints about losing precious Choice points it is not funny. We have been saving Choice points (32,391) for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Japan back in Feb. Reservations were made, however, due to health issues we had to cancel the trip.

My family has been Loyalty Choice Hotels Members since 2016. Today, I was trying to book a hotel up in NYC for a family reunion, I was in shock finding out that all 32K points were gone; I emailed and inquired why, the customer service replied immediately & told me that my points were forfeited last 03/01/19 due to inactivity.

I have received NO warning, advise, or just plain notification from CHOICE about the expiration. I DID NOT FORFEIT my points, they were taken away from me without notice. My calculation of the expiration is Aug 2019. you…

We stayed here specifically because of the amazing advert in one of those hotel catalogs you get from the rest area. It boasted it was the newest in the city, hot fresh cookies,free candy in the room, and the big one - ULTRA CLEAN!

Also, only $39 with the coupon. Sounds great, right? Not so much. The guy who checked me in was great, but informed me they can only accept 15 of those coupons each day so my $39 was now $78. Ok, it happens.

We get to the room and it is a disaster. Walls are super dirty, carpet feels disgusting, and worst of all the entire place reaks like mildew! I couldn't use the pillows because I sleep on my side and they smelled of mildew.

I had to go back to my car and get my travel pillow. The breakfast was a huge disappointment. It said there was biscuits and gravy…

The Sleep Inn Bridgeton, Mo is falsely advertising PKF7 rate. I paid extra for this rate for two rooms. We had no problem parking and getting shuttle ride to airport but when we got back 5 days later called to get shuttle was told had new general manager and the shuttle service had been stopped. We would need to get taxi to our cars, we did have to get two cabs .I feel some reimbursement should be done. Desk clerk "who said she was office manager" would not let me talk General manager also informed me PKF7 rate didn’t include shuttle only using parking lot. That is not what is advertised online says shuttle to and from airport. She said no reimbursement would be done.

We stayed in the EconoLodge, a Choice Hotel, on E. 40th Ave, in Aurora, CO. on both May 16 & 26. We left our car in their "secure", "monitored by security cameras" parking area behind the hotel while we were traveling by plane.

This is a service they offer and they charge for. m. on 5/27 and checked in. Upon arising later that morning we found that our car had been broken into. The desk staff acted like he couldn't care less. Shrugged his shoulders. Didn't comment.

Didn't offer to review the camera footage until I asked. No manager available "she's comes in later". No help when I asked for nearby glass repair or auto repair. Shrugged his shoulders. Did give me a plastic bag for the broken glass after I asked.

It regards my stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites Athens Atlanta between 12th and 22nd May this month.

First of all the booking. My CRS Confirmation # 66260159 was cancelled on 6th of May without my knowledge or advice to me . I attach the relative document. Where it says that my reservation was cancelled . . . . .

by x, it should read "cancelled by Comfort Inn and Suites" Then my payment. I have been charged twice and I have paid twice for my stay. 98 were correctly drawn from my Mastercard which I submitted. 61 was charged to my credit card, without my knowledge or with the use of the card.

Arrived Saturday April 20th. Door to our room was propped open with waste basket. Very cold room as temps were in the low 50's. Room smelled of cigarette smoke (non smoking room) and dogs. Next door neighbor said there were 3 dogs in the room the day before.

Burn hole in ottoman, toilet tissue holder was pulled off the was including the drywall. there was no handle to turn on water for a bath/shower. All reported to the front desk as we did not want to be held liable.

Apologies were given and we given a different room and $20 off our bill. So very dissatisfied with the condition of the room. We reserved this room 3 weeks in advance. How could this mess be offered to people? Very disappointed.

$20 does not make up for our experience.

I cancelled a reservation over 2 months before my check in date however they still charged my card almost 200! After at least 10 calls I still have no resolution/refund leaving me unsure of how I can get my car out of long term parking. This is horrible to take advantage of people especially when they are away from home!

I checked into Quality Inn located at 2960 Northeast Expressway I 85 Atlanta Ga. on 4/11/19. I wore my most comfortable shoes that I just purchased for $79. I used them that night for slippers because I left my slippers in the car and was too tired to go back out after a ten hour drive.

The next day I left my shoes beside my bed and went out in another pair of shoes. When I got back I bought my slippers in but I did not notice my shoes were gone until the next morning when we were about to leave out again.

This is when I found my shoes had been stolen. My husband and I checked the room over two times and no shoes. I did not want to accused anyone of stealing but the only person who could have stolen them was the maid who cleans room.

We stayed at Econolodge , Orlando airport on March 2nd. We rented the room because they advertised wifi and breakfast . We got neither. The wifi didn't work at all and they said they couldn't fix it. The phone in the room didn't work at all.

So each problem we had to go outside and to the front desk. The Tv was not programed properly so we only got a few channels. The room stunk when we entered. They sprayed a chemical . When we checked out at 8am to catch the shuttle there was no breakfast not even coffee.

I stayed at the Comfort Suites Choice Hotel in McAlester, OK off of George Nigh Freeway February 3-5, 2019. My Account number was: 632754967. While my stay was pleasant when I checked out and got to my next destination I realized I left my maxi dress on the back of the bathroom door.

I have had numerous correspondence with customer service who claimed they were sending my issue to their up depart that was over 3 months ago and even though I have tried to contact them I get no response, To cut to chase on your web site I was trying to book a room with points and money.

Your website said it did not go through and try again which I did and got the same response.

Quantity Inn on 2364 S Loop W, Houston Tx. I reserved a suite for 4. We drove from Mobile Al and check in at 11:51. The outside was unpleasant looking and I started not to go in. We went to our room #155 the hallway and the room has stains on the carpets, the bedspreads has stains, the lamp shade had holes, the sofa has stains and it was cold and dreary.

Plus the tv was not working which the manager said it we be up in a hour. We stayed until 6pm still no tv. 73. We had to find another hotel. But, the most disturbing part was the price. The new hotel was the same with better accommodations.

On 8/4 and 8/5/18, I stayed at the Quality Inn in Somerset, Pa. I have never used the description, PIGSTY, in an in a review before, however I can not find a better description! The whole placed smelled, was dirty and the tub was not working!

We had to go to store to buy a sanitizer to clean and freshen the room. We would have cancelled the room and stayed somewhere else but could not get a refund. 7 rating, if this is how you rate your hotels, I can not trust your ratings.

I feel you need to be aware of the horrible; unprofessional, and incompetent experience I had at your hotel last night.

I booked a room with my jobs discount provider., as i do very often, and have never had an issue. I stayed at the Comfort Suites, 331 N Cotner, Lincoln NE on Friday, 4-20-18. The room was fine, but we were pretty much out of luck watching tv unless we wanted to get up and down all the time. The tv would not turn on. We finally called the front desk and they sent a guy up. He said we had to turn it on with the button on the back of the tv. We also had to get up and turn it off on the back of the tv. Apparently the remote control was just a decoration. This was VERY frustrating after driving all day to get there! I've stayed only with Choice Hotels the last 10 years, but after the last couple of stays, I'm ready to start checking out some other choices! I am also a rewards member, but not sure why because you have to do a lot of traveling to reap any rewards!!!

we made a reservation for Feb 8th flying out on the 9th and retuning on the 16th 2018 to have two rooms and park and fly for one vecical and 6 people.. the girl could not do anything right, she sent 4 different bills to my email with different amounts .

when we arrived to the hotel on the 8th of Feb 2018 the desk clerk said that the reservation bill was wrong she had not put the park and fly on it. 00 dollars. Then in the middle of the night the fire alarm went off we had to carrier all our luggage down 9 flights of stairs, out into the cold and then back into the restaurant , and wait until the fire dept.

Initially, I was looking forward to traveling to King of Prussia with my 75-year old mother and visit family. Upon entering our room and because I suffer from lupus, I must be extremely careful when traveling, I thoroughly pulled the sheets and blankets down and walked throughout the room #602.

I reserved two rooms for three nights for family visiting from Maryland. There stay was a very bad experience, they were unable to sleep comfortably due to the bedbugs, they were bitten while trying to sleep after a long day in the airport. My brother was unable to stay his full reservation and checked out after the first night. My sisters had no ideal of the bedbugs but took pictures of them prior to checking out and was able to provide proof to the management on checkout date.

10/14/16 stayed at Quality Inn, Emporia,KS. The toilet didn't work in the morning. Had to take tank top off and flush manually. The TV had cable problems and would not turn on.

This is the second time we have stayed at Oneonta Clarion. We usually stay at the Hampton Inn but every thing was booked since it was family weekend. We have stayed at several other hotels since we had a daughter graduated from Suny Oneonta and now her sister is attending the same college. We arrived at the hotel and 12:30am Saturday to a clerk that had nose rings ear piercing and a piercing on her mouth. I checked in the room dropped my bags off and went out to dinner. Came back at 10:20pm and saw roaches on the base boards and bedding. Bed bugs on the side of mattress and headboard the top sheet had blood stain that was faded and old.

I canceled and rescheduled a stay at the Comfort Suites in Concord NC to Charlotte NC and the customer service rep didn't cancel my stay but added the nee stay. I was charged $77 for a no show that should have never happened. I have been waited for 3 weeks on an investigation to be complete and never heard from a rep. Called Choice customer support back today and have to go through the same 7 to10 business day waiting period on an investigation.

This is incompetence on the reps part and I the one who has paid for it. Was also told someone reached out and left a message about this, not true. Who wouldn't follow up on a message about their money. I'm angry and will never stay at another Comfort Suites.

I check in August 15, 2016 at Econo Lodge in Lincoln City, Oregon. V was very dusty, the baseboard heater was rusty and it was very dirty on top with hair stuck to the heater, bedspread had spots all over it, cobwebs in the corner of the ceiling, and the trash can was dirty.

The room wasn't fit to stay into it. I got cold in the late in the morning and turned on the heater and it didn't work.

My family and I had to leave unexpectedly to AZ for a family emergency, I booked a room with 2 beds and a request for a cot. Upon arriving at hotel, a guy who looked suspicious kept staring at us. I have no complaints about the hotels we like all Choice hotels in fact when we are out on the road your hotels are the first we look for. My issue I had reserved rooms at a hotel we always stay at I was informed after I drove 300 miles (with reserved rooms) that your hotels will no longer accept debit cards for payment(Which is how I have always paid). I was told I had to have a credit card instead. I have a Visa card with a limited credit amount that was my choice because I do not need a credit card. But I was told that it was not acceptable. I was very disappointed we had to find another hotel to stay in.

The reason i booked our 3 night hotel stay was for a family getaway to denver from colorado springs. They were a cheap option and the only indoor heated pool/hot tub, which is the only reason we stayed there. The hotel was under constant construction, blocking all doorways, hallways, & elevator! Forcing us to take 2 flights of stairs constantly. Breakfast was too small for the amount of people staying there!

We usually stay at one of your facilities and are satisfied with everything. Without previous reservation we were quoted $125.10 per night at comfort Inn and Suites, Amarillo, Tx 2-24-16. Were told by person at desk not to look further as all other hotels were full and there were no rewards, so " take the room as no others were available in the area so no need to look further". We then stayed. I looked later on my tablet and other rooms were available at $78.60.

I don't understand. We stayed at 2300 Soncy Rd.in Amarillo. The next night we stayed at comfort Inn and Suites in Platte City,MO. for $75.00, a very nice clean place with friendly staff. Staying at Comfort Inn in Greeley Colorado, 10/30/2015. Truly Yours bedding isn't in used here. Pillows so worn out and soggy they are about half the size of a standard pillow on the queen size beds. Pillow topper "if you want to call it that" in a flat worn out piece of fabric that shifts in the bed.

Bedding has a dirty stale smell and there are used tissues next to the bed. Mattress is worn out and hard. I haven't even gone to bed and am sending this because it is so bad. I only stay at Comfort Inn for the Truly Yours pillows, I will not be staying again and ready to share my Choice Hotels complaint with the world.
