To whom it may concern, I have two credit cards from Citi. one is for a double cash reward, and the other is Citi Dividend Card for 28 years. I always pay off the balance at the end of each month.
In April of 2022, when I logged in to Citi App to pay the balance of my Double Cash Reward card, I realized my Dividend Card was closed by the company about two weeks ago. I immediately contacted customer services and spoke to " Andy," a lovely gentleman.
He said the card was closed due to inactivity for some time. It was shocking that after 28 years, I had the card, and I was forced to close by Citi WITHOUT any prior notice or didn't have the decency to send a letter or at least notify me by email at all.
