I was told if I paid 6 payments on time home would be put in modification I did 12 thru western union money grams then with no notice they sold my home no notice at all to me

Started refinance when the rates were low, got all the documents they needed and appraisal within weeks. Then the process started to drag, I asked to speak with a manager and sent multiple emails. Everything was essentially ignored, tried to file a formal customer complaint and they ignored that.

Then we passed the 3 months mark and I emailed saying each month past our original refinance completion date I was losing money in savings. Their response was "stop doing the math". Ultimately, 10-11 months later they came back around after many emails asking where we stood.

I lost my job around month 11 during covid, I informed them and they quickly canceled my refinance. Spent thousands to get this done, everyone I know that refinanced with another bank at this time was done in 3 months as…

The moment they realized I'd filed the 2,000 dollars off at closing, somehow, they didn't want to do the loan anymore and dreamed up several different reasons for not making the loan. FYI my credit report is over 760 (what they see) consumer report? 798.

It was a total joke from start to finish. Loan never closed.

I recently had a client try to purchase a home using Citibank. It was the worst experience for both the client and I. The loan Officer who claimed to be a señor loan office never returned phone message from my client, the listing agent or myself.

00 Ernest money deposite because Citibank’s loan officer Mr Curtis Dawkins failed to communicate with the client or myself and 6 extensions later the seller decided not to extend no further and request the Ernest deposit since the contract was over and Citibank bank although the loan had already been approved 3 weeks ago failed to preform.

I am totally disgusted with Mr. Curtís Dawkins and Citibank bank and would not recommend that anyone use them to purchase or refinance a home.

I'm a Citigold customer. I've been waiting to hear back from our mortgage specialist since December 10th. This has now delayed pour closing. I have tried to reach other specialists. Nobody can tell me whetherb or not Citibank can do the very specific mortgage that I need. (The apartment is subsidized by the city of NY). The original specialist was supposed to call me first thing today but yet again, no call. I need an answer today. Can Citibank give me a mortgage for 340 W. 28th Street, apt 17G, New York, NY 10001? It is a co-op. The management company is Mutual Redevelopment Housing, Inc. Please call me today with an answer. 914-882-9473. Thank you, Brian Gold

There was absolutely no communication from Eric Stephens about the status of my application. I checked the website daily, one day it said "denied". I tried to find out why, no answer from Eric Stephens. Customer service is zero priority for Citi Mortgage.

I applofor a 53000 refi of my home.Eight months later our mortgage was 43000 because it took 8 months and still NO CLOSING.This past August I had enough I contacted Better moroand had the closing in 28 days. I have never dealt with a worse bank.

Refinanc applica accepted 2/2021 sched to close after 3 mos 5/3/2021 with late fee for customer $90/day.. customer submits turn late fee.. for Citi bank to give customer is due no delay never caused by this customer, accepted processors.. DENIED at the Exec Response level.. request for explanation.. DENIED.. This is Customer Disservice

Today marks the 7 month anniversary of our refinance application. In spite of more than twenty five email inquiries the only answer Citi has is that its swamped. I am thinking "swamp" is the correct term . Citi already owns the mortgage and little has changed in or lives.

What could possibly be holding this process up?

i called citi bank because I needed to have an insurance check endorsed because the wind blew my roof off. I was told that my mortgage had been sold to Cenlar. I did not receive a letter or anything letting me know this.

The Cenlar company has 455 complaints against them and they are rated a one star bank. Im really scared. People are saying that you will lose money and or your home with Cenlar. I am a single mom and I have a special needs child that needs special care. Thanks a lot Citi.

My mortgage payment went down and I had it set up for auto pay through my bank. So I went to change the payment amount and instead of just changing the amount my bank made two payments. One was in the old amount the other in the new so I called Citi to get a refund.

After speaking to the rep he advised me that he found the two payments and that the one would be refunded. Nothing was said about sending in any documentation. On May 10th I received a letter dated 5/3/18 requesting a bamk statement indicating the date the payment was deducted and should includethe daily running balance prior to and following the deduction.

If Citi has the money in the account and it shows that it was taken out why do you need any balances. I should have had my refund days ago. The customer service with this…

I filed a damage claim with my insurance company, State Farm and they agreed to pay $22,600 to repair my roofing and siding. The work has been completed and I sent in to have the final insurance check cosigned and returned to me. Citi Bank Mortgage has sent out an inspector who certify that the work had been completed, I sent copies of two checks I had given to my contractor (Colorado Roofing Company) and have waited now over a month and a half to receive the cosigned check. This company has made no effort to contact me even though I have requested a call if more information was needed. At this point my contractor has been waiting nearly 2 months since finishing the work to receive his final installment.

Buying home was never so easy as Citi made it for me. I always was looking out for a good option on interest rates to buy a home. Citi gave me the right price and good payment options through which I was able to plan for a home.

They explained to me in detail about how much would be my monthly payment so that I could plan my expenses. Citi offers some good repayment options like no other bank does. They gave me details on how I could close the loan once I had enough cash and the interest I would be paying.

The executive who helped me go through the home loan procedure made the entire process smooth. They gave a great of time in hearing my doubts and clarified them well. My family was excited to move into our new home and this was made possible only through Citi.
