My husband WAS a DeWalt fanboy. We own chainsaws, weed trimmers, fans, blowers, drills, impacts, mitre saws, saw stands, circular saws, cutoffs, jigsaws, reciprocating saws, shop vacs, hand vacs, jobsite speakers, stools, lights, worm saws, two kinds of sanders, jackets, and a ton of batteries and chargers.

He purchased a drywall cutting tool last year from Amazon that quit working the second time he used it. No problem, we assumed, contact DeWalt and use their much touted warranty. The good news, yes it's under warranty. The bad news, it will cost us, the consumer, $69 plus shipping to get this tool fixed under their so called "warranty".

The tool only cost $87 brand new last year on sale through Amazon. How much is DeWalt going to charge me if my expensive Mitre Saw fails? I expected…

Horrible customer service. No one responds or reaches out in any way just a maze of people passing the buck. I have been in the trades for 50 years where tool and equipment word of mouth is everything. At this point I have nothing good to say about Dewalt.

I purchased a laser from home depot which died after about 10 months and had it replaced but now the replacement died and dewalt doesn't want to honor their 3 years warranty even though 0the product is defective. I contacted customer support and Sherri C was supposed to find a resolution but after sending her the info she asked for she just rudely email me to say she closed the case ticket. Ignorance beyond belief.I just wish I didn't buy all my tools from dewalt since it seems it's not a reputable company I thought it was.

contacted dewalt on getting a warranty replacement on a screwdriver set replacement by e-mail. they returned a email stating a reference number and a order id number stating they are placing a order for a replacement set. after a month and three e-mails it has not been replaced or answered the three e-mails.

I purchased a Dewalt Tire Inflator at the end of April 2022. The Tire inflator was defective. I contacted DeWalt in June and was told to return the item and I would be reimbursed. The Tire Inflator was returned via UPS and was delivered at the DeWalt office in Missaussaga (I have the confirmation from UPS).

I am still waiting as of December 7th, 2022, for my reimbursement. I called a few times and early on, was told customer service could NOT find the Work Order I had filled out and could not reimburse me. Then about a month ago, I was given an Open Ticket for a reimbursement request.

I was told someone would contact me by email or someone would call me. Well... No!! I have not received an email or a phone call. Today when I called, I was told the Reimbursement request is WAITING…

Hi there, I returned a Tire Inflator to DeWalt (Mr. V. Soman in Missaussaga) last June and I still have not received my refund. I contacted Mr. Soman two times already and... still no answer (despite his beautiful phone message that he will kindly return our call if we leave our name and number!!). By the way I do have a. confirmation number from UPS to confirm the Tire Inflator was delivered in Missaussaga.

So I am ready to make a complaint at this time. I have waited long enough. Thanks

Purchased. an electric blower this spring.. From the beginning it's had a terrible charging problem. I use it for about twelve minutes and it is dead. This is unacceptable. I will not encourage anyone to purchase this product. Because of this experience I will no longer purchase any other Dewalt products and I purchase a lot because I do wood work and.

I purchased 40 volt leaf blower and 40 volt weed trimmer. 1st problem the first battery went bad prematurely, the warranty was out when I tried to return it,so I interchanged the 1 good battery between the 2 , next the belt went bad and

lowes where I got them doesn’t Cary weed trimmer head for that weed eater nor do they keep the batteries for any 40 volt which is no longer made. I have 8 20 volt batteries for dewalt tools that I use every day but the 40 volt has got to be a JOKE.

VERY DISSATISFIED WITH 40 volt weed eater and leaf blower. I know they are out of warranty but had to let you know.

End of June 2022 I contacted Dewalt warranty support via email about a 20V XR 1/2" Hogring Impact not having any torque. The tool was about a month old. After sending them the requested information they tell me the impact is out of stock and to contact back in 2-3 weeks.

When I contact them back on July 18th, 2022. On July 21st customer service agent Manuel replies to tell me they are still out of stock and ask if I can use the pin-style anvil version instead of the hogring anvil that I have.

I replied no, my guys need the hogring style. Nearly a month later on August 29th I recontact Dewalt support about fulfilling the warranty claim. Called up to get servicing information. They told me to package (I was supposed to watch an instruction video) and send chainsaw back to them. 00 or more. Then they would decide if I misused it. I found out before I incurred the expense that I could take it to any authorized dealer.

Saved me money and apparently the company is so greedy they will squeeze you any way they can.

I bought a Dewalt electric drill as a back up for my 2 battery drills. in 2007 ,and I have used it once a littlte while back and it worked fine. I was using it yesterday and I only ran it for about 1/2 hour and it stopped working there is no power no funny smell it was'nt over heated or hot.

Its a DWD115 3/8 variable speed serial #004145 and again I bought it in 2007 and looks brand new I buy nothing but Dewalt power tools. Can you please tell me what I can do to get this fixed , or suggestions on how to fix it. com

It's been since mid April since 8 filed my claim#475-4414 on ratches that has broke on me I have call 5 times since then every time I call I get a different answer on what's going on Today they tell me that my order was canceled and I would have to wait 5 days for an update I use these tools to make a living it's been almost 4 months and nothing I wish to speak to a supervisor asap

Paid$910 for model DXCM251compressor just found a Craftsman for $569 .These 2 compressors have identical pumps, gauges, regulator, electric motor, flywheel, tires, air lines,tank, air filter and brackets.I paid$341extra for the DeWalt name &a false promise of higher quality.I am so disappointed,I will never buy another DeWalt product again in my lifetime.I will do everything in my power to convince everyone I know to do the same.Thanks alot.

Their expensive weed whacker 60 volt is worthless. I purchased one a few months - it will not hold trimmer string even if installed per their instructions. Called extended warrant people - per them it is still under warranty - warranty dept wanted me to take it to an authirized repair shop over 60 miles away one way.

Cutting head on Dewalt weed whacket is a joke. I purchased a trimmer last fall (still under warranty. Phoned warranty dept- on hold about 40 minutes - had to phone twice. I was told I had to take to authorized service center - nearest over 45 miles away.

No resolution - regret buying this product. I own many Dewalt products - all others very satisfactory except their electric lawn mower. Luckily it broke wuickly and I took it back in time to get a refund. I will trash this new weed whacket and purchase another brand.

Purchased A12 inch dewalt battery chainsaw. Model Dccs620 several months ago to use on smaller trimming on ranch . Only used a few times and it just died . Will not work . Spent almost three hours dealing with non caring customer service people about sending in for repairs . Still no help .

Have thrown worthless dewalt product in trash and going into town to purchase a Stilh like I should have in the beginning!!!!

The most important thing I look for when I invest in anything is ."Do they have good customer service?" My experience today was infuriating. Why? Because, like most of us, I don't have time to be jerked around by a company who can't pay for reps to support their customers. And then the one's they do have are so frustrated and inept, most likely because they are NOT trained or paid very well.. I will vote with my feet and never buy another dewalt anything..

I wanted the five-in-one hand held multi-tacker for some light upholstery, but it seldom inserts the staples fully, so a hammer blow is needed. It frequently fires out a mis-shapen staple, or will only insert one side of the staple, the other being bent flat against the fabric.

I took it to the local DeWalt/Black and Decker service shop in Edmonton where it was compared to another 5 in 1 to check for defects, but it looked the same. They also found that it did not fire readily.

The product creates more work and frustration for the unfortunate user. It is quite useless. It was a Christmas gift, so I cannot return it!!! I am not a novice when it comes to upholstery, but wanted the protruding "nozzle" for greater accuracy.

First, they have a lame chat bot. This thing is so ignorant it should be institionalized. They only thing you can do is leave a message. When I finally did get thru, I was told the charge for downloading PDF manuals of the 20 volt complete set I bought.

I bought the 30 pc. Screwdriver bit set today in Wichita. A 90 mile round trip. , I discovered none of the bits would fit into the magnetic holder. When I went to Customer Service, and explained everything in great detail to what I assume was a computer, I was sent to another site where it wanted me to give my credit card info and a bunch of other crap.

All I want is a replacement magnetic holder. Nothing else.

Bought two dealt mowers. Both broke in less than two seasons. Paid to have mowers repaired. Mowers both broke again within a month of being used again. Promised replacement mowers by a customer service rep and a customer service supervisor.

I purchased a compressor that is a Dewalt and every since the day I bought it it has thrown breakers. I had to have the unit delivered due to weight and my ability to move it that is why I bought a dewalt because of the quality.

I had been emailing someone named Arnold who I had explained all this to who asked me to get a copy of the reciept take all these pictures and email them to him so I did and he sent me a form letter back saying I cant help you we dont make this product call MAT industries.

I email him back and tell him my compressor says dewalt why doesnt he email MAT and find me a resolution, he sends me the same form letter back as before so I try to contact MAT industries and I call 3 times one day and was on hold the first time for 45 minutes the second and third time both…

I have a DCS355 Multi tool , stopped working. I signed up for three year registration. Cannot get response from DEwalt just an automatic email saying they are Stanley Black and Decker now! No telephone help, no online help. This is the third tool I have had problems with.

A very fancy web site but zero help for my problem. Cannot even locate local service agents.

I purchased a Dewalt Flexvolt tool kit on 04/04/2019 and applied for a free Flexvolt battery that was on promotion at the time. On the 08/04/2019 i got an emailsaying the battery would be delivered within 4 weeks. The battery never arrived so i contacted Toolstop who i bought it off and they told me to contact Dewalt.

I could find no number for Dewalt so eventually found an email for customer service which i got no reply to. So i found a number in UK and was eventually told that the offer was no longer valid and Dewalt wouldn't honour the offer as they said there was information missing from original claim but i never received any email looking for more information.

I paid $23.00 for a stainless steel wire wheell for my grinder .I was removing thin set from ceramic tile. It didn't last long , for about 5 tile and it wore quick. I assumed it would were better and last since it was a deadly product (stupid, wasted money) lesson don't buy because of the name.

Very hard to get a hold of customer support. VERY long hold times! No one ever shows up in the online chat. When I finally did get a person they promised to email me a drawing of the specific dimensions I needed of the table saw I was looking at and they never bothered.

have used your products successfully for many years until recently i purchased saw blades for my reciprocating saw 8in. 18tpi.bi metal #DW4821B10 the quality wasnot up to the usual standards because after making 2-3 cuts on 1x1 square aluminum tubing had to chang blade might be bad material because teeth were worn to nothing so i baught another brand and no problem just thought you should know THANKS.

On 9/28/18 we purchased a Dewalt tile saw D24000S from a Delwalt tool representative at the Rocking-R Ace Hardware store in Harrisonburg, Virginia. We were told by the store staff and the Dewalt representative that it would arrive in one week.

It still has not arrived and we have been told they are not sure when it will be. Dewalt company headquarters is only three hours away from us yet it has been weeks and no saw has arrived. We wish now that we had used Amazon.

I have the Dewalt table saw and miter saw and love them both. I was looking forward to the tile saw. Why would sending the saw overnight be out of the question?

The 18 volt batteries are junk and do not last, do not buy these tools, I have gone through 7 batteries with 3 sitting on my bench now. I have 2 new batteries as I have quite a few tools, id they do not last a year it will be the last I deal with dewalt.

I will never deal with them again. Have they heard of warranty!! Junk!

My son and I have purchased many DeWalt tools and have always been satisfied with them (actually I just purchased an air powered framing nailer about 2 weeks ago) I bought a DeWalt electric string trimmer less than a year ago and have only used it a few times because it is light duty.

The other day I wanted to use it and the motor would not rev up and within a few seconds it would slow down to a stop. The motor would be warmer than it should be. I put a freshly charged battery on and it did the same thing.

I totally cleaned all debris from around the head - no difference. I completely disassembled the motor end and everything looks like new. The trouble has to be in the electronic control module by the battery. That unit should not go out with as little use as I have used it.

I purchased 3 band saw blades from tractor supply. And all three broke at the spot where they were welded together. I can't take them back to the store because I have only 2 of them my wife threw one away.

But I think you have a problem with your band welder. There was no penetration into the blade. The sku #0 28874 03983 4. 00 and didn't last more than 10 cuts through 2x2 x1/4 angle iron. Thanks Emil

My pressure washer has been in the shop for repairs since June 11th and I was told the part will not be available until Sept. 11th. If there is a major problem with unloader valves on your pressure washer the part should be available to the supplier at all times and in stock.I will never recommend a DeWalt pressure washer because of the service.

I had 18v 5 pice hammer and drill combo set that was made in America. Used it for over 10 years saw died. So got new set for myself about 2 years ago. biggest pice of crap ever. Saw switch went out after 1 year so took American switch out of old one.

not long after that it slowed down. Hammer drill feels like the motor is going to come through the back when you drill. Junk china crap. Was told that out of japan that the Jap batteries were better. Since I'm lucky to get a year out of Jap ones Mexico ones must really suck.

My question is since there assembled in America again are they good or just more junk. thought about new set of 20v lithium. But if its same junk i will change brands. If there even worth having. But I'm sure I will not here from dewalt.
