I took my grandson to but a football helmet. Before I spent over 200 dollars for one I asked for help from 2people to try this on. There were 5 helmets already open that did not fit him. I was told I could not open them asked for a manager and no one came.

This is not good customer service. This was the Springfield Illinois one on Friday the 11th of August around 430 pm.

Another reason why retail stores are going out of business. There's few stores left and they still can afford to provide horrible experience. The store at 80012, management itself accuse me of "renting" one of their products when the product was obviously damaged. Completely offensive and disrespectful! Never going back. Thank god for Amazon.

I placed an order for two watches and they were sent to a completely different address than the one given.i have re sent all of the order information and even contacted royal mail on their behalf showing the mistake was on dicks but I have been ignored time and again from my follow up emails.i think this is an absolute disgrace given the size of the company.

I have purchased close to a thousand dollars at Dick’s on Memorial Rd in Okla City, Oklahoma in the last 5 weeks. I went to the one on I-40 in OKC wanted to buy a bicycle and some things for my grandson.

The checker tried to run my check thru three times. He called for help 4 times. Got my check hung up. So he re ran all my items again this time he realized he didn’t charge me for one pair of shorts.

My original total was $506 then it was $565 wrote another check which I always do write a check without any trouble. He didn’t do it right again so it was declined. He ran the checks so many times it was as if I was trying to spend $1050 not $565. Highly embarrassed and upset!

Makes me want to go elsewhere. Have always been a good customer to Dick’s and recommend them. Train your people how…

I went to store with not alot of time but ample. The two cashiers that were working ended up having issues with both their current shoppers so line got really long finally another associate came to front and opened drawer one or the first one closest to the door.

80 so I called asked to speak with manager and asked if when she closed drawer to call me as it should be $20 over well she never called so I called this morning and she had associate tell me drawer wasnt over well I know that there is no way that it wasnt.

I realize that these young people cant cou t change even when it is on register because it happens alot either you get back over or under . I usually always count because of this , but because I was late I didnt .

I went to buy golf irons I was looking to spend around 1500 between irons and a bag there was 3 kids working neither which helped me after 20 minutes . I finally walk up and ask if I I could hit some balls with the 7 iron the kid says he could tap it up and hit 5 balls .

This is the 2nd time I have ordered running shoes for my kids only to have Dicks cancel the order without telling me! There is no email and no explanation of the cancelled item. I called customer service today and spoke to Matthew.

Even he couldn’t find out why the order was cancelled. This was the last time! I will never order online from Dicks again! My other son ordered his shoes directly from Nike and received them within a few days. I’ll be ordering from Nike from now on.

I am sick and tired of ordering goods off the website only to get an email a half hour later stating you don't have the item(s). This isn't the first time or even the third or fourth time. Quantities shown on the website are inaccurate and misleading.

Funny how you always have enough of the high (overpriced) items, but never enough of the reasonably priced items. It's fraud. Get your act together!!!

My husband and our two kids (15&10) visited the Dicks store at HTC in Noblesville. My son needed some shorts for his upcoming golf matches. He also has a birthday coming up and would like to spend some of his birthday money on golf equipment.

He was looking at golf clubs and trying them out. ) He proceeds to just stare at us without saying another word. My husband assured him that my son wasn’t going to be hitting any balls with the driver and that he was just testing them out.

The old man (employee) still didn’t say anything and continued to stand there and stare at us. So we decided to leave at that point. Unfortunately, we had to go ahead and purchase the shorts because my son needs them soon.

But we will definitely not be back to that store. And the hundreds of dollars that my son…

I returned some Nike tennis shoes my son purchased for Christmas. They were lavendar and white, which is not a color I wear , so instead of them just sitting in my closet I returned them today at the Dicks Upland store.

I picked out a pair that I wanted instead and then went to the cash register where I was greated by Kaitlin to do my exchange. She asked me if I had a receipt and if I had worn the shoes to which my answer to both questions was "no".

I did provide her with my son's phone number because he is registed with the store. She continued to look at the shoes very intently. There was absolutely no dirt or anything on the bottom of the shoes and she analyzed the inside and found what she called a "spot" in the corner of the opening of the shoe.

I ordered a Jets jersey for the final game of the season I was attending, said it was in stock on the website. My order was cancelled, with no explanation. I used a 50 dollar gift card for the purchase.

I called customer service, the girl told me I would here back by email from her supervisor in 72 hours. I never heard back. I had to reach out again, I now have to wait 7 to 10 business days for my card to be sent out for the 50 dollars, nothing for my inconvenience at all.

I would like to file an official complaint about the below store where the employees and customers are working together. The customer went by the name of "CARLA" and i do not recall the Dicks Employee names. I was told that I was not allowed to buy shoes off of a rack that the employee was rolling out to "CARLA" and it appeared that she had a team of people working with her on 1/5/2023 around 10am timeframe. It appears that they were working together, and your loss prevention needs to look into this matter. Because I was told by the customer and dicks employees that they had first rights to the shoe racks there is something going on behind the scenes that you guys need to know about.

I was recently racially profiled in your store in Naperville. I’m disappointed because you had the Police follow Me to a totally different store accusing Me of being part of a shoplifting ring when actually I was leaving Yoga Class going to your store to buy my son weight gloves.

The Police said your store security told them to go after me because I entered the store and left to quick and I was tipping off shoplifter. A 54 year old licensed Real Estate Broker is not incline with a shoplifter.

My in-laws purchased the men's escalante electric bike from the perimeter point store in Atlanta GA one month ago. They were told they had the best bike tech in Atlanta working there. I have the emails from the store manager verifying that.

Sad to tell you that It was not the case at all. Why? Well the store sold me a $900 bike with no keys to lock the e-bike's electric battery into place make the bike one could not ride. We had to purchase a home Depot truck and did to go pick it up cause it was assembled in store.

Went in looking for a neck gator. There were several very young associates in a group talking. Not one approached me to see if I needed help. I interrupted their chat and asked them about product. ” I continued to look and found them.

At Dicks Monica PA I was mislead by store manager about awards, points, bill paying, grace period. He’s a punk. While I was purchasing kayak he promised the world. Now it seems nothing he said was true. When I questioned him today he stated I that I don’t have to shop there.

I ordered a pair of Nike Trout LTDs online on July 6th at 08:52am. 99 for expedited shipping and was told they would be here on July 7th by 8pm. They did not even process for shipment until late July 7th so was advised they would be delivered today July 8th by 8pm and yet they are still sitting in Memphis since 1152pm July 7th.

The manager that looks like a little farquad from shrek at the captial mall in Olympia, WA was so rude today. I asked him when the person upfront was scheduled for a break because they are my friend and I didn’t want to bother her too much.

His response to me was that I shouldn’t have asked management when i didn’t even know he was a manager and was just asking out of curiousity and then got mad and overly passive agressive at me and my friends. When he finally went up to her, he didnt help her, but instead embarrassed them in front of a customer to address what I had done when I was simply asking if he knew when they were getting off.

My friend later asked for help and he was nicer to him at first and then later very passive aggressive. Btw I just found out his name is cooper.

I needed to replace a few Folding Arm Chairs that I used for camping and other outdoor activities. I liked the folding chair I had purchased from Dicks a few years ago so I bought 2 more to take on a recent camping trip.

I was surprised to see that they were not the same quality and were less several inches smaller than the first set I bought. Quite a differense in weight also so I am sure the frame is of cheaper quality.

Today I want to return a pair of youth baseball pants that I purchased that were the wrong size. When I presented the merchandise I also presented the card which I purchased the items with. 95 which was on the tag of the item I purchased.

On December I placed order 10152553950 which I received on 12/22 only to find that the boots had already been worn to the point that mud was visible on the soles and sides of each boot. I contacted customer service via chat to get a replacement pair and was informed that the new pair may not arrive before Christmas but to hold onto the current pair until the new pair arrives then return the worn pair in the bag that the replacement pair came in.

This new order number was 10153326043. The new pair of shoes never arrived. Upon contacting customer service via telephone on Friday 1/4 I was informed that the order was on hold because the new boots would not be sent until the old boots were returned.

I ordered a Kayak (order 10118619208) scheduled to deliver today. I've been monitoring my phone anticipating the delivery. Mid-day I checked online the status; states they had "attempted to call customer no response". ABSOLUTE fabrication. I phoned "Dicks" 3 times in a 20minute window.

Order #10098905107 What you have done to me with this order is shameful. You never gave me a tracking number or any information for me to know what was going on with the order. Two weeks ago, a company contacted me to set up a time.

I set up a day and time (convenient for them as they didn't care about my time and schedule). They then showed up 2 hours earlier than "what was commited and was convenient to them". I wasn't home, so I was not able to inspect it until later.

That night I found out the backboard was all scratched up. A another (different) company called me about installing it. They said they would order another backboard to replace the damaged one. Interested in taking advantage of the 20% off one item and trading in my odyssey versa putter for new odyssey fang putter at a good savings. Apparently that won't happen. There were two people working busy registers and they wouldn't have the time to help me, which i understood.

Didn't see anyone else in store. You lost my business. Will use PGA Tour Superstore in Myrtle Beach in July or new store they are building in Bradenton/Sarasota area next year

Worst experience gun buy in 40years. They don't fallow CA gun purchasing laws. Dicks in Petaluma CA if you have po box on CDL they won't sell to you. But every other gun store will. I drove 2.5hrs to be told no, on a Sunday morning. I drove to Pacific outfitters 1hr 29min to Ukhia CA they gladly sold me shotgun.

CDL po box, hunting lncs physical address. Pacific outfitters fallowed the law. Reward replacing $28k worth of firearms to them. To dicks just unhappy customer.

If you sell in CA you should sell by the law not surprise we do it our way.

On Saturday afternoon my husband and I visited the Melbourne, Florida location. After working with 2 very rude salesman we had decided on 2 shotgun and supplies for purxchase. We waited over an hour for the salesman to enter my gun information.

At that point I asked a young tall skinny salesman. If he had somewhere I could sit down - as I am handicapped and extremely ill and the wires hanging from me are very noticeable he replied no and I comment how rude his behavior was.

We then were told that we had to wait for a manager to ring up the order shouldn't be more than 30 minutes. They were laughing at us as we left commenting about to each about my chest. I was shocked and we have never been treated that day.

I was given a box of titleist proV1’s as a present from a co-worker. I wanted to exchange them for the proV1x instead but did not have a receipt. I walked into the store and asked a clerk if I could exchange them and they said yes. 42 towards my exchange.

I asked for a manager and the manager said she couldn’t do anything even though they were clearly marked on the self for $48. She then tried to tell me that who bought the golf balls got them on clearance which is absolutely absurd if she knew the first thing about titleist ProV1’s. 99.

I will never ever shop at Dicks Sporting Goods in Bowling Green Ky. again. 00 to buy a hunting rifle on 12/22/2016, approximate time 9:00pm. 308 caliber rifle and then the sales associate very rudely replied "No we dont have one" as he continued to shake his head in disgust and abruptly walked away and never returned.

I placed two orders online on cyber Monday to take advantage of the sale, 25%. I spent a lot of time looking online to find winter jackets for my entire family. I also called the store nearby to check the product in person to make sure I ordered the correct size. While on the phone, I asked the Dicks's associate whether they would extend the same offer in store and I was told whatever sale they have online will be given to me at the store. When I got to the store, they told me that whoever I spoke with was incorrect and that they were not able to give me the same discount as I would get online.

One thing it was Black Friday 11/25/16 I went in to purchase some 243, 7MM, and 7MM-08 ammunition. I grabbed a box of 243 bullets I noticed buy 2 boxes get 3rd 50% off. I thought about it while looking for the other caliber bullets which I couldn't find. I asked the clerk for help he said if they not there we don't have them ( he said this from behind the counter not even coming to look out in the isle). So I decided to get two more boxes of the 243 bullets so I got them I was looking at scopes in the glass counter just making conversation with the clerk I said that's a good buy on 243 bullets.

We have a dicks opening soon in Torrance, CA. I was told to go to the main page to fill in a online application which is not there. Why not have a application on a web page saying here it is?

There are none and it shows bad planing and not one bit of a clue to get some one to come to work as an employee.
