I Love to look at Discovery channel .The problem is that sum of the programs come with background music or by sound .For one with normal hearing it is not a problem but for those of us with a problem .it is impossible to follow the documentary even with hearing aide want to ask you to please remove the background sounds so that we can follow the program and hear what is said ( the background sound cause interference) Thank you Gerhard

Your channel has become OUT OF CONTROL WITH THE COMMERCIALS. I have to record a show and watch 30 minutes of a 1 hr show. Unacceptable.

Tales From The Explorers Club prominently displays two elephant tusks by the fireplace, in the study where Josh Gates narrates many episodes. I find this irresponsible and disgusting. Elephants are slaughtered every day for their ivory tusks, and by displaying these tusks, the Discovery Channel is seemingly highlighting the status of owning ivory tusks and promoting the slaughter of elephants.

I am saddened and disgusted by the irresponsibility of the Discovery Channel.

Why did they make the Natalia Grace story a series? 85 percent of each segment is totally redundant. You get new content after 45 minutes. It's a ridiculous waste of time!! Who "recaps" for 45 minutes and calls it a "new" show??

This could have been contained in 90 minutes tops!! Not a whole series. How presumptuous to waste everyone's time with all this repetitive garbage. It's like watching a rerun 10 times in a row. If you don't have enough content, don't try to stretch it out endlessly with the exact same segments over and over again.

For years I have watched Discovery ID, every day, the majority of the day. Recently I have been offended and frustrated by constant McDonald's commercials in Spanish. My network provider is Comcast, Miami/Dade County. There are numerous Spanish language stations in our area.

Why must McDonalds invade and English language station?

I have been trying for 2 months to have my Discovery+ account. They won't let me delete my payment information, so I want to delete the account. " Five days ago, they sent an email saying to look for another email to "verify your identity" so they can delete account, and I'd have only one day which to do so. Guess what? Never got that email.

I have plenty of free time to explore SUING this company.

The show Battlebots is marketed as for audiences 8 and up. Given that Discovery Channel allows access to these shows via On Demand, the commercials that are embedded as part of the show should be screened so that they reflect the intended viewing population.

Suggestive sexual movies like Magic Mike, torture porn like Naked and Afraid, and promotional advertisements for the Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy Valentine Special that include graphic animated depictions of sadomasochistic activity, nudity, and sex do not belong as advertisements in a program marketed to children. Parents should not have to worry about their children being exposed to such inappropriate images when wanting to watch robots battle each other.

I was forced to get discovery+ in order to continue watching favorite paranormal shows. Now most of them are gone. The ghostober deal is a failure. Should have left Travel and A&E alone, but you baited many of us with good shows that are now cancelled.

I am complaining about your gay commercial with 2 men kissing, advertising a HIV medication. I know there are gays in the world, but damned if I'm going to pay for a TV channel and have to sit in my house and watch that shit.

Someone from discovery+ reactivated my cancelled subscription and charged my bank account. I have contacted customer support several times stating this fact and requesting a refund to no avail. No one will address this issue and instead they keep telling me that I can watch it for a month until it cancels again.

I did NOT start this subscription up on 9/27 as they say. Who did? I live alone!! This is a fraudulent tactic to take money! I want my money back ASAP or I will file a complaint with the district attorney's office.

I have also requested a number so that I can call and actually talk to a real person. Again, they ignore my requests and refuse to respond. I have also requested information to help me remove my bank information so no one can use my account again.

Well the first complaint I have is there's nothing to watch. Food Network has everything up to date but Discovery plus does not so why do you even have this channel it's worthless and I'm going to end up unsubscribing and a lot of other people I know are feeling the same way. I watch and look forward to shark week every year. Some shows I have not enjoyed but have never complained. You have Tracy Morgan on right now and I find him very offensive with his white comments. If he was white and made the comments about other races you would never had aired this.

I am so disappointed with the last few years of Shark Week. I live for this week.

However, when an episode is over I want to have learned something new. I find absolutely no pleasure in watching Jack asses be Jack asses. The celebrities are not the least but knowledgeable about sharks. They're only there for you to make more money.

Some of us are truly interested in sharks and want to learn more about them. If I want to watch celebrities be stupid I have plenty of channels to choose from. I just want educational and interesting shark shows each night.

I'm an avid discovery channel watcher and am so sick and tired of shark week. Seems more like shark year. You put it on instead of all the good shows that I normally watch ie: Parker's trail, anything gold rush, anything deadliest catch ect.

To have to even see advertising about it on regular discovery shows is insulting. Today, 5/25/22, I tuned into Expedition Unknown hosted by Josh Gates, apparently the pilot program of a new season. I was extremely disappointed in this dud of a program. Usually, when kicking off a new season, you'd think they'd want to put their best foot forward to encourage repeat viewing, right? Not with this.

First, the producer feels that it's a must to play loud, crappy music, even when people are speaking. Thank God for the "mute" button.

Secondly, Josh spends an inordinate amount of time interviewing a man and a woman who had been sent to Mexico to prove, or disprove, UFO sightings near a volcano there. Puhleeseeee folks! What could have been a most interesting program quickly sank to the level of mediocraty.

I love watching the discovery channel because all my favourite shows are on there but I can not stand all the commercials,why are there so many and the commercials are longer than the show itself I really hate paying for tv and have to watch commercials is there something that can be done about this?Thanks

Please give us back the DIY channel!! Please discontinue Magnolia channel!!! The programing is boring, not at all helpful for people who want to sharpen their creative talents. Watching a program on an elite restaurant in Maine where the food is very expensive catering to the rich elite on a channel that was for the do-it-yourselfer, REALLY.

Most of my friends no longer watch this poor excuse of a channel as we are totally tired of the Gaines. I won't even watch the few shows that were allowed to stay because I do not want to add to their number of watchers.

The music overpowers the voices! Why do you put the music so high? This channel is worthless with the music so high. Everyone I have talked to about it says the same. It would be to your advantage to either turn it down or off.

I switched cable and wasn’t able to have Discovery Velocity for a couple years. I was my favourite channel. I watched it constantly. I was recently able to get the channel again recently. Now it’s garbage. The programs suck and you play the same shows constantly back to back to back.

So if the show comes on you don’t like there’s nothing to watch for hours like street outlaws we’re sure you guys put on there I love drag racing I love fast cars but I can’t stand those goofs yelling at each other all the time I’ve been off for 10 days and that show is been on straight constantly 24 hours I am going to cancel my subscription to discovery velocity again.

Every other commercial is a Discovery plus commercial, this is annoying in itself but the icing on the cake is the continual reference to the homosexual lifestyle. Unsure why this seems to be neccessary. It has become so prevalent and non-stop that we plan to remove all tv choices that carry these ads.
