Hello. Re: Rental Agreement 191287600: On May 5, 2023, I rented a car from your DFW Dollar Rental location. I entered the parking garage and was asked to follow a man who walked a good 20 feet in front of me, then pointed to a car.

(a Honda HRV SUV) The garage was nosy as there were about 30 cars in line to exit the garage. The man in charge never approached the car nor asked me if I needed assistance. He never showed me where anything was in the vehicle, where, the keys were, how to operate the vehicle, etc.

Again, he pointed from 20 feet away. Further, there was no operating manual in the vehicle. After about 20 minutes trying to figure out how everything, having to lift my luggage into the back seat because the lift gate was not functioning, I went to find the garage agent who…

They charged me twice. I booked online through a third party. My receipt said $50 was due when I checked in. They charged me an extra $213! But I didn't catch it until after my trip and they said they can't do anything now. I feel tricked.

The only reason I'm giving an extra star is that the car was nice and the people I got and returned the car to were really nice.

This is a copy of an email I sent to Jenny Morton on 27 Oct 22 to which I have not had any response. I am contacting you regarding the above booking for a car that we picked up on Monday evening from Orlando Airport after flying in from the UK.

So far I have been less than impressed with the service provided for the following reasons and thought I should bring to your direct attention.

1. The queue at the rental task was very long. Your agents were not in any hurry to deal with what was a long queue. They were chatting and laughing amongst themselves wasting time rather than concentrating on the customers. 2. Each customer was taking an age to deal with, mainly because we could hear of a hard upsell regarding cars and packages. I know they are incentivised to do so but there are limits.…

We rented a car from Dollar on August 9th 22. We had a prepaid voucher form our Travel Agent. We waited in line for over 2 hours (it states no more than 15 mins on website). A woman dealt with us, she gave us a invoice which we assumed was our voucher invoice, my husband signed it.

She told us we did not need to fill up the car after our hire with gas. I queried this 3 times as I asked whether this would cost us she said no. We picked up the car and had a great holiday.

We have since received the invoice which was actually for an upgrade and fuel refill which surmounts to $3000. At no point did she tell us she was giving us an upgrade at a further cost, (three times as much as the original).

In a exceptionally long line at Orlando airport. halfway to the counter!!!! 3 monitors not being manned!!! This not the way I wanted to start my vacation. The other car rental places are fullu manned and very small lines!!!!

I rented a car from the Denver airport and when I returned I forgot to leave the key behind. Cust. Service is a joke! After waiting for nearly an hour I spoke with someone in another county that has no idea how to help.

They just place me back into the impossible phone loop. I need to figure where to mail the key so I don't get charged $300 for a missing key. No one seems to care and will not provide any direction.

This company is a loser. Will never use Hertz, Dollar, or Thrifty again.

Picked up rental on July 22, 2021 at Syracuse, NY Airport and return on Sunday July 25, 2021. Toyota Corolla with 44,000 and in bad condition. The car had not been cleaned and trash was left it in with COVID going on.

Prior renter David Kovach's rental agreement left in the car with his receipts from Walmart left in the car. Rental Record # 115521232. Gas only at: 2/5 a full tank.

I made a reservation through Priceline for my son to rent a car through Dollar Care Rental on 6/27/2021. He was to pick the car up from the Sanford Airport in Florida at 3:00pm and return to Jax Airport in Florida at 6:00pm the same day, as he needed to pick-up his semi truck in Jacksonville and drive to Palatka and then to Texas.

He was on a time crunch. I called and changed the pick-up time to 4:00pm and the representative on the phone changed it and she then confirmed my son's age and charged more due to him being 23, which was fine, and

00 for not bringing the car back with the appropriate amount of gas I gave it back with 98 miles to the gallon left and they said I brought it back with 28. They are liars and asked for photo proof.

Customer services is a joke. Do not rent a car from this place.

I rented a car through a third party vendor, Priceline. 87 when we picked up the car. I went to the rental office to beck up the card I was told I would have to pay a deposit $200 if I used a credit card or $500 if I used a debit card.

I ask why the difference and was given no answer. 87. 80. I’ve never before had to pay a deposit when I’ve rented a deposit and I’ve rented cars with nearly all of the car rental companies. One other thing I was treated by the the staff at the rental location. Wayne Norman.

I was charged $40 dollars to cancel a reservation. I booked it 1 day ago and had to cancel for personal reasons. They charged me $40 for doing nothing more than creating an electronic reservation. Everywhere I look now I find that complaints are 10 to 1 over complements.

Never again will I rent from Dollar Rental cars. Don't trust them.

The last two rentals from Dollar have both had car issues, I was treated poorly by your staff and never even given a one day free car rental or a sorry from anyone. This most recent car rental was for 21 days!!! Im so upset with this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I arrived at 10:15 pm on Dec 15th to pick up my rental vehicle, confirmation # J 2423710266 and there was no one at the rental counter. I called the 800 number at 10:20 pm and spoke with ANJ who said there would be someone in 10 to 15 minutes. No one showed up.

I called again at 10:45 and spoke with AJ. AJ said his employee ID number was 3244320. He gave me a local emergency number to call 620-275-8934 which I did and left a message. No one called me back. I called the 800 number a third time at 11:04 pm and spoke with Norman who said there was nothing he could do.

He would not put me on the phone with his supervisor but said the supervisor was on break. Norman said his employee ID was 3808. This is the worst customer service I have ever had with a rental car company.

I would give this company a negative infinity star rating if I could. Have never ever been treated and fleeced so badly!!!

We booked our rental car for a week for a specific price through travelocity We picked up the car and were shocked to find the price has mysteriously tripled and we were being charged for add ons we declined, which made the planned price triple in amount! The same day we picked up the car, we immediately called to ask what the deal was and were advised since the rental was just opened to just proceed with our planned week and when returning the car adjustments would be made at the return counter. This is my ongoing story of their counter staff falsely informing me of ‘mandatory policies’ That I must agree to pay for or else I won’t get my vacation car. “My confirmation number is J11746998F3 I have been asked to send you a private message to discuss my complaint.

I emailed full details of my complaint in but nobody was interested in dealing with it. I came over on vacation from the UK, and clearly made it obvious that I was a UK citizen, I was quoted a price that I was told didn’t need anything else adding to it.

We rented a car on 6/2/19 from Bishop international airport in Flint,Mi. We were at the counter 11:30 am. We were suppose to attend the church ceremony of our grand daughter's high school graduation. We didn't get the car until 1:30 pm due to lack of men power to clean the car. Due to delay we missed the ceremony. The main purpose of our vist was to attend graduation ceremony. We tried to complain at the counter at Flint airport. They didn't write a complain but gave us a telephone number 888-465-2645 or 1-800-8005252. We are trying these two numbers to complain but we were not successful to get any one..By missing the ceremony we wasted plain fair as well as rent a car cost. We would like to request you to at least our rent a car cost.

Reserved a car to be picked up at Orly, Paris on 27 May 2019. Just got my statement from AMEX. 1. I was charged immediately for a car I'm not to pick up for two (2) months. 2. The charge [$539.38] was twice the amount I agreed to with NO explanation.

I canceled forthwith.

I'm going to Normandy for D-Day 75 and will shop elsewhere for a car.

I believe I left a very important and expensive medical item on a car that I rented. I called Dollar to inquire who to call to ask about this lost equipment. I was told to go on a website to see if it was listed on the site as a lost item. ".

I have had nothing but rude emails from the billing department (especially from Dana Martinez CFO of Billing) that never helped me get to the bottom of my dispute. The first three emails were sent weeks later after my first dispute on the amount she said I still owe which I disputed.

They are expecting I pay $53 for a tank that wasn't delivered fully gassed. I was asked to deliver it back where it was gassed at when I received the car. Which I did plus some. Dana Martinez and her billing team were not nice and very condescending.

I'm an honest woman who does not normally dispute stuff. Her attitude and inability to extend customer service (and be willing to lose me as a future customer) was incomprehensible. Taking dispute up the food chain and will never rent again from Dollar!

Shame…

I want to commend Dollar Car Rental at Kahalui Airport in Maui for great customer service. Kriste checked us in on February 1 and was most cordial. We had a one month rental and on February 25 the fob would not open the door of our rented Nissan Altima. I called Dollar Car Rental customer assistance and Lonnie contacted a Lindsey at Dollar Kahalua. They offered an exchange and when we got there about an hour later a Volkswagen Tiguan was waiting for us at no extra cost. Thank you Dollar and thank you Dollar employees.

First Time to rent, Told the front desk Gentlemen, I booked a car on line. he started with you need this Ins. cause your car Ins, doesn't cover all this. Then told me about the fees and tolls and gas. Then went on about other things fast and confusing. Then said a Malibu ready to go. Didn't ask me anything about what I wanted, just talked fast and before I knew it I was paying 399.00 plus. Gave me no time to find out if my Ins. Company would cover anything. I was totally confused. Not to mention the Gas info.
