Edward Jones

My Mother, Alice M. White has substantial holdings with Edward Jones and her facing agent is Earl Sellers located in Auburn, Al. 36830. My mother passed on May 8th,2023 and Earl had all four of her children/beneficiaries open individual accounts with Earl in order to have her holdings dispersed according to her beneficiary designation when she first opened her account with Edward Jones.

We are now being told that Edward Jones through their own neglect, can not reproduce my mother's original beneficiary signing statement and without it, there is nothing that Earl Sellers can do to help us. Apparently, the Estate Team from Edward Jones is the sticking point here and Earl has done virtually nothing to get this issue resolved.

, advised me to surrender two annuities and to invest the money in the stock market. He stated that he does not advise people to buy annuities as the stock market would make them more money. He then stated that these two annuities had already cost me more than $40,000 in fees.

He talked with my CPA and she questioned him if this was the right thing to do as I would have to pay taxes and he assured her that this was in my best interest and that I needed to do this. The cost of the fees for these two annuities came into question when there was a tax issue caused by Curtis because of these annuities.

Our mother died 05/08/2021, left the kids an inheritance with E. Jones in Brodhead, Wi. Funds have been okayed for release since September. Broker told me on two different occasions the funds were being transferred and then never were. Now I can't even get a return phone call.

I signed up for a simply IRA thru my former employer. Bill Benson whose office is in Sidney,NE was the representative. When I signed up and was giving my information, I wouldn't give my cell phone number the first thing that pissed him off.

They last year Bill called my employer to have them tell me to call. Bill told my employer that my statements where being return to the corporate office, that was a lie I had them all. When I signed up I NEVER got any paperwork that stated should I cash out this IRA there would be a fee.

On October 25 When I called Bill to cash it out he told me "there will be taxes with" NEVER said a word about fees. 1 to tell Bill I wanted my fees paid back to me from Bill personally.

Upon checking my account on 10/01/21 I noticed that my Financial Consultant has been changed without our knowledge. I think it would have been good customer service to have been notified before we see it on our statement.

I have some concerns about an elderly relative's Edward Jones advisor, Tawni Bullock, out of the Everett Mall office in Everett, Washington. My relative is Richard Matheny . He has had an account at that office for quite some time.

I am also on a joint account with Richard at that office. He has been expressing a dislike for Edward Jones and the broker. He has even expressed this dislike to a few of the receptionists in the Edward Jones office.

this complaint is about the helotes edward jones office. You did the right thing by removing emilio lira, but the problem is the replacement being eric fenn. there is never anyone in the office to answer the phone and when they do they are very rude on the phone as well as in person.

mr fenn's assistant has screwed up every that they have touched. sent all my emails which they changed the address on themselves. the forms we have now were sent to the wrong person that needed my signature not the person they sent it to.

My mother and father have had an account with Edward Jones for many years. They loved the service they received from their advisor. They have passed and I am the Executor of the Estate. As a trustee of the original estate, I have worked with their advisor for at least the last 5 years with no issues.

I set up a new Trust with Edward Jones so we can transfer the assets from the original trust for distribution to heirs. I needed a checking account to pay the bills of the Estate which I already had outstanding bills.

We set it up on Dec. 2. My advisors office was told checks would be mailed Dec 7 and I would receive within 10 business days which would have been Dec. 20. When checks were not received, I contacted my advisor's office.

Why are we with Edward Jones?

It took over two weeks to get my ira money transferred. Once you declare that you are moving your money edward Jones puts you on low priority for service. Their entire plan is programmed. They want you in advisory solutions whereby a computer manages your money.

E J uses select investments in order to get kickbacks. E J gets the money not the investor. They have a million ways to make money. Fees are higher than any others. Edward Jones first firm to fight new sec rules that e j must work for customers best interest.

E J is greedy by evidence of putting 4 or 5 offices in same small town. Two people run each office. The financial advisors are salespeople not financial advisors. Ever move advisor makes is programmed. E J has made a killing off advisory solutions.

We started with Jim Wismiller approximately 2009. He dropped us and gave us to Cassy Sauceda without asking us. I had a large margin loan, account number 946-13636-1-7. It should have had earnings going to pay it down from the very beginning. When she called and said I needed to pay it off, I ask what the best way would be. She just started selling.

Jim had known that I was very sick.

Cassy never asked me any questions. Had she told me it would cause me to have capital gains, that would have been a red flag. I am on SSDI. The way she sold off shows that she didn’t have enough tax training.

We got hit with $17,000 in taxes. And I may loose my SSDI.

We have pulled everything away from Edward Jones.

After being a customer for many years, I transferred my accounts (save one) to Merrill Lynch, custodian (Fisher Investments). I had an IRA account that had been (against my will) split into two accounts due to some fiduciary rule. I was told all my accounts went to Merrill Lynch back in 2018, around July.

Your company failed to pay premium on my life insurance and it was cancelled. Policy # FT0057480. Insurance canceled in 2017. 00 policy. I am involved with a lady who was left a trust fund among other financial investments that were already with Edward Jones. I am referring to the Helotes Tx Edward Jones Office and Emilio Lira. Her monthly check is supposed to be in her single account on the 27th of every month.

It wasn't there so she called Emilio and he hung up on her. She tried calling right back and no answer. She left him a voice mail. He never returned her call so she she sent him a text message.

Poor advice.

Edward Jones in Graham, NC is being rude and uncooperative because I am transferring my accounts to another bank. He's not answering or returning phone calls from Lisa Tidd at 5/3-my financial advisor. I talked to him on the phone, telling him I want the money transferred and he was rude and sarcastic with me.

I also sent 3 secure messages and 1voice mail trying to get him to transfer my accounts. I am at my wit's end.
