I received yet another call from Ethan Allen of Garden City that my dinning room furniture will be once again delayed until after May 30th! I have said several times that I do not want partial delivery of a table and 2 chairs.

What dinner can I have with only 2 chairs nor am I interested in having the missing chairs be filled in with mismatch chairs. If I wanted a dining room set with mismatched chairs I would have purchased that. It is now the end of another month and to be told that it’s now again delayed for another month is ridiculous.

For a huge and prestigious company like Ethan Allen to have customers waiting for months for delivery of chairs is not only unacceptable but unbelievable or is it only certain customers that have to wait longer than others. I chose a company that I…

We have bought most all of our furniture at Ethan Allen and our latest purchase we are not been happy about. Went to our Ethan Allen , In Kennesaw GA to try to get help and person at desk said that there were not sale associates available She thought she had solutions to our problem but they were not good ideas.

Our bed is too high and I am disabled and when I set on side of the bed my feet do not touch the ground. If anyone knows anything about disabilities and being mobile they would understand but she did not seem to care.

Granted, I was not having as many problems when we first received the bed but it has always been difficult to get out of that bed and I am 5'-6' tall. All I can think to do now is to have the legs cut shorter on our bed.

I contact the sale associated regarding a defective night table - wood was warped and the glass top wasn’t laying on the wood; the inside dresser drawer, there was black paint in the drawer and the furniture is white; the smaller drawer. The wood was loose.

I sent pictures on the day of delivery — I was told to send more pictures- I was confused—the. Asked to provide the manufacturer tag - gave no idea where that was and info wasn’t provided — I just bored another night stand and replaced drawer and the other drawer fixed

I wish this could send a more complementary email but I can’t. I’m so disappointed with my first purchase of Ethan Allen furniture and not sure I will ever purchase anything else. I am beyond livid. I must say my entire experience with Ethan Allen has been less than desirable and give you an “F” as a grade.

I would not recommend any of my colleagues to buy Ethan Allen furniture. I was so excited to make my first EA purchase on January 1, 2022 and due to the cost, I paid for the insurance coverage too. In April, my couch was delivered and it was defective.

I purchased a Bennett sofa on June 21, 2021 from your store in Boca Raton, Florida, LOC 493. It was delivered on October 21, 2021. Our customer number is 493B799079 and the sales order number is the same. This is the third Bennett that we have purchases over the years. Our sales person is Susan Johns who is no longer with the company.

Terrible. Have been a customer for years but recent experience at Cary NC store has changed that. Ordered furniture and area rugs and rep measured and placed order. On arrival dining room rug was too small. Was told it would be made right.

That was several months ago; nothing but a run-around since. Rep's name is Janet Wendel. All she offers are excuses after promise of making it right. She did the measurements and I (sadly) placed full confidence in her abilities. Has offered me excuses about her personal problems and problems with store management as reasons, none of which have anything to do with good customer service.

This is the third time that I write to complain without any answer from your Company.

On January of this year, I ordered a custom made Brooks Bench from your store in The Woodlands, Texas, Ordet # 870392830. On June 1 of this year, your employee Leslye Urbach notified me that it had FINALLY arrived in the store. We bought two suits of furniture from the Ethan Allen store on N Oracle in TucsonAZ. The finish on the night tables is raveling. I have filed a complaint with the Store who forwarded it onto, I assume, a Regional Office who blew me off.

I am a Civil Engineer and I know a defect when I see one. I sent pictures which are pretty self explanatory. I have received nothing at all except from the Store who said their next higher headquarters denied my claim.

I was not even given information on how to repair!! If this is the way Ethan Allen treats customers who spend about $20K with them, I will never buy from nor recommend Ethan Allen. I expect a response!! This has been ongoing for several months.!!

I ordered multiple items. Furniture was delayed past expected delivery time which I understand. The bed was delivered and it was the wrong size. We ordered king and they ordered and delivered queen. Not only do I not have a bed, I was expected to wait another 4 months for new bed. Fine I accepted.

The wrong bed was picked up and new bed ordered. Then Ethan Allen issued a refund for the bed and expect me to pay full price for the new one. I feel I shouldn’t have to pay at all but at the very least for my patience I feel I should get a discounted price.

I ordered two custom Elgin chairs August 2021. Order # 085B881908. It has moved out since to March and then April. I have had to chase ( repeated emailed and phone calls) the representative from whom I purchased these items, Adele Lewis for updates.

I have asked ( her what she is able to do to expedite the shipment once it arrives from the manufacturing facility to the local warehouse. " This is is hardly the response when expect from a firm of your calibre.

I expect more not less contact and updates when things slip as well as trying to understand what went wrong. I am only to happy to copy you on the correspondence.

I ordered a leather couch, two swivel chairs and an area carpet on 2/13/2021. The items were delivered on 5/14/2021. Immediately I thought I received the wrong couch and area carpet. I contacted my local designer, Christopher Fawcett and he reviewed the order and informed me that the Stock #'s of my order the Stock #'s of my delivery matched.

That wasn't the problem, the problem was that I didn't think he ordered the correct couch or carpet. Very soon after, I called and complained about the couch. It is not comfortable at all. They sent out a technician in September to see if there was an issue with it.

We decided to go with Ethan Allen because we figured the high prices would equal high quality products and service. Our design consultant was great, no complaints there. But after buying $11K worth of couch, ottoman, and rug, you'd think it would be a high-end experience. ).

There'd be some perks or luxury, like a glass of wine or a complimentary something. Holiday season to boot. You'd think the $3,000 rug would come with a rug pad. You'd think, with a 16-week wait for delivery, we could keep the fabric samples on hand to refer to.

Not that there'd be a 3-day limit on samples. Nada. We are kind of wondering why we just spent $11,000 on 2 pieces of furniture and a rug that won't be delivered until spring.

Hello. I resent being shamed by the Designer, Mark Audley and his Supervisor, Linda S. regarding a purchase of the Qunincy bed, mattress and box spring. I spoke with Mr. Audley to get help making a decision on this purchase.

He asked for the details on the room YESTERDAY. Bothe Mark and Linda as well as their District Manager, Stephanie W. ” It is a white twin bed! How is that a special order? It is offered on the website ALWAYS.

They arE using the term, “special order” to keep my money. Ethan Allen is using DECEPTIVE PRACTICES TO CHEAT CUSTOMERS OUT OF THEIR MONEY! I have issued a complaint to the Attorney General’s Office and I am still waiting to hear from EA Corporate.

This company has NO INTEGRITY! I await a reply from those of you benefitting from the confiscation of MY MONEY!

21, I took receipt of the Quincy, twin bed, mattress and box spring. Due to a debilitating case of arthritis in both knees my mobility is challenged and I was unable to visit a local Ethan Allen store. I worked with designer, Mark Audley in placing the order online.

I purchased a living room set (couch, recliner, entertainment center) in 2017 from your Jacksonville office. I had some damage occur in December 2020 and January 2021. I submitted a claim in February and was denied because it was out of the reporting window.

However, it took me TWO weeks to get a hold of someone in order to file said claim, after I was provided the number by one of the Ethan Allen associates and my order #4959705759. After noting the delay, I was later told by your customer service representative and Guardsman that the delay in reporting was my fault and it could have be done online.

Guardsman then took 3 weeks to get back to me. If it is critical that reporting be done in a specific time frame, then why is a delay getting back to me acceptable?

Had to pick up a mirror that was NOT on the delivery truck that arrived at the house from the AWESOME warehouse. The lady in the front office was GREAT. The warehouse manager was A TOTAL CLOWN!?!? He was OUTSIDE with his guys smoking and this was the ONLY WAY to access the inside unless I hop the loading dock.

I HOPPED THE LOADING DOCK! I got my mirror and was trying to figure out how to leave without waking through the smoke. I gently sat down the mirror on a chair and gently picked it back up when a young man started getting upset with me.

I purchased a wall clock from your Chesterfield mo store in 2014. It never worked properly and when I called to complain I was told that because I bought it on sale I should take it to a local clock repair shop. Ethan Allen was not responsible. I didn’t do this and it has been on my kitchen wall, not working, since. I recently moved and decided to take the clock to be fixed. The clock repair man told me that the hands of the clock were bent and this was the cause of the problem. The hands of the clock are behind glass and have not been touched since I bought it. The repairman felt it was disgusting that I was sold a clock in this condition.

Classy furniture, but not quality customer service for the price you pay. I called the Torrance, CA location to see if they had a particular furniture piece on the floor. The sales rep, Julia, said they did. I told her my husband and I wanted to see it in person.

Side chairs , don’t match table and armchairs ! ( Order # 472A518012 9/27/2018 )

We have been trying for months to get some resolve on this issue . I (Martin) , received the delivery of the set. The delivery crew were great and I signed for the delivery . When my wife came home she noticed a few very minor nicks and the side chairs didn’t look right . So , we called the store where we purchased the custom set in (Estero , FL) . Purchased a custom dining set , waited for delivery and it came . The crew set it up no problem . My husband received the delivery as I wasn’t home and signed for it . The next day I saw it and it was beautiful .

However , the next couple of days we noticed two small nicks on the table surface and the four side chairs didn’t seem to match the two arm chairs or the table . We notified our store in Estero , FL , the sales associate was out sick , so we spoke to the store manager .

Let him know our situation said he’d look into the matter , as well as send out the repairman for the nicks and to look / take pictures . Knowing from prior experience with Ethan Allen , we knew the matter would be taken care of .

I ordered Hunter Douglas shades from the Boca Raton Florida store on Federal HWY. I paid for 4 dual shades semiprivate & or blackout which Ethan Allen confirmed and quoted me for. When they were installed I saw they were not the dual shades promised.

They were the semiprivate shade with a blackout liner stuck behind the shade fabric. So it could only be used as a blackout shade. Hunter Douglas apparently told the Ethan Allen employee that dual shades were no longer offered at the time the order was placed.

I told the employee that I would not accept them as is. I was given the choice to have a semiprivate shade plus a credit. I SHOULD OF ASKED WHAT THE CREDIT WAS WORTH. I should have just REJECTED the delivery OUT RIGHT!

My name Larry Preston, my wife and I went into the Ethan Allen location on 1500 N Halsted here in Chicago Illinois. We fail in love with the gray Marcus sectional and two blue leather Emerson chairs. So we ordered them both on Oct.17, 2018. Both items were delivered to our home on Nov. 24, 2018.

The sectional was ordered incorrectly so we received a sofa with a curved piece that doesn't attach to make it a functioning sectional and many other issues are as followed;

- The 3 seat extension cushion density is completely different from the rest.

- The chaise end of the cushion has a large gap between the back.

- The chaise end fabric is pulled too tight and something wrinkled behind the fabric.

- The curved piece cushion is not filled with foam to its ends so there is a sag.

We then set to have it delivered WE 10-21-18. Since that time we were told that the dresser was not in the warehouse and that perhaps an early December delivery would be possible. Communicating with Alice, we set delivery for WE 12-15-18.

For TWO YEARS I've had a complaint on my order, ordered from your Fresno dealer who is no longer in business, We ordered covers for our furniture, also ordered from the same dealer. The ottoman cover was delivered with short sides, exposing up to three-four inches of the white material under the cover. Ultimately I talked with your Ms. Sanchez who did not satisfy my complaint. Your Charlotte manufacturing unit sent a sample which was also short, but from the pictures with dimensions said a replacement would be made when Ms. Sanchez approved the issue. We are fully furnishing a new house being built in Pontre Vedra Florida. We are working with a design consultant Carol Nault who has done a great job putting together a design plan. We have so far spent $ 18000 with you and planned on purchasing many more item.

Our complaint is with customer service. Our house will not be finished for 3 months and various pieces will be arriving before then. YOU HAVE NO STORAGE capability and want to deliver pieces as they come in. where do we put items ?

I ordered an Audrey sofa and two benches on May 14, 2018. I received the merchandise on 8/18/18.

However, the sofa is not to my satisfaction. The cushions are so wrinkled and this was not the case with the sofa online or at the store at the time of order. Otherwise I would not have ordered it. I would like for the sofa to be replaced as it is not what I was promised.

2 defects in sofa when delivered on July 28, 2017. Both documented by photo. One fixed & sofa returned to home on Sept 29. 2 nd defect still obvious & documented. Promise by customer service to get back to us by Oct 2.

Calls back to service rep on Oct 2 & 3 & still no response. 2nd defect should be easy to fix but no calls back is very troublesome.

I purchased a Turner swivel chair with a beautiful fabric. Six weeks after delivery I noticed a wrinkle in the back. I immediately contacted my designer who told me not to worry that the chair was under warranty. Someone was sent out to look at the chair and took pictures, which I assume were sent to Consumer Affairs.

" After receipt of the letter I spoke to my designer several more times and each time was told there could be a resolution. This "comfort wrinkle" has become larger and more unsightly; unfortunately, the store manager (Andrew) told me there was nothing that could be one.
