This is the 2nd email I have sent a out my experience at the lantana, Florida location. I have been a customer on and off for about 15-20 years and until I went to this location I have had great experiences.
I paid for a contact exam and purchased contacts, I was told that I had a problem that required me to wear one of two kinds of contacts and it would be a trial and error as to which one would work. When I called the office I was told that doctor no longer is at that location and she didn't put anything in my chart on top of that the women Teresa I spoke to implied that I was a liar!
I have never been treated so bad at any place at all. Now I have to go to a different place and I can't even get my previous records and I don't live close to the location so I spend a lot of money taking…
I went In to my appt and this store is very unorganized. I needed bifocals and long distance glasses. Then I finally got back there and the eye Dr. dilated my eyes . I am far and near sided. I'm getting headaches and I cannot read my books and Bible at all.
They also forgot to give me my transitions. I also asked for the 2nd pair and they didn't give me those. 00 and no 2nd pair. I'm very upset. Pls call me at 317-737-3004. Ty
I called in ahead of time spoke to a representative over the phone, I explained my nephew with (Down syndrome) threw my glasses out the window with my case. I was informed to come into the eyeglass world location on Alma school and the 60. I arrived and they were rude and did not ask for any of my information, explaining I called before arriving and we just got kicked out.
Called eyeglass world at Beach Blvd and Hodges in Jax Fl two weeks ago to find out if they took my insurance with United Healthcare. Spent 30 min on phone with girl that assured me that they did take my Ins.
Gave her my card info to make sure. She said that was one of the insurance cards that they took the most and that it would give me great discounts on glasses up to half off and would most likely even be more of a discount after running the card.
Also said it would be a free eye exam. Because of this I made an appointment for me and my husband. Just went for our appt and they tell me that they don’t take my insurance!! Are you kidding me.
We have waited 2 weeks for nothing when we could have gone somewhere else that did take our insurance. Unacceptable!! Will tell everyone I know not…
dawn dish soap and water by the way and continue to tell me that since there's nothing physically worng with the frame they can't be replaced.... and scratched my lenses so I yet again must take more time and money from my day for a 3rd set of lenses AGAIN
My order was placed at Lafayette indiana and I paid on May 24th 2022... as of June 17th.. I had called corporate office 2 times. My order was called a "Ghost Order " I canceled my order on June 17th but my money is still not back in my account. Very disappointing service.
I ordered new glasses they have the wrong prescription on I been calling for three days with no results
Ordered glasses on May 24th... order still has not been placed as of June 17th... paid for them on May 24th... computer glitch... had to call corporate office 2 times and order still not placed but has my money.. Canceled my order today and was told not sure when I would get my refund.

I bought two pair of glasses at the Elk Grove, Ca store and got charged twice $539.00 due to your credit card machine malfunction. I have been trying to get my money back to no avail. I am a senior citizen and need my money ASAP!! On top of all that they did not make my glasses properly, both pair were wrong!!! Please get back to me ASAP.

My company changed insurance and I was forced to go outside my normal doctor. The doctor missed a major cataract. work. it after two visits I settled. need surgery. chnage after the surgery. me. will be another week of not seeing for their lab to order some lense.

I came in to look at glasses for the prescriptions that I had an employee oh connected I need any help she was sitting on the desk as you enter I told him what I was looking for even shorter the time frames that I have on to see if she had something like that or near to it she pointed me to the glasses for women on your left Never got up to assist At all. Another customer came in the person was greeted And someone got up I came over to assist.
I waited a few minutes to see if anyone would acknowledge no one did So I laugh no one said have a good day etc. I will just take my business somewhere else thank you
First I came in the place of business young lady said how can I help you sitting behind the desk l Stated that I was looking for a particle frame she just stated what was on the wall never got up to assist. There are other customers that came in and was greeted and someone came to help I just felt better customer service could’ve been better maybe it may have been Who I was Keep in mind it doesn’t matter what the person may look like thank you felt it someone needs to know that
My daughter was given two pairs of glasses with wrong script took over a week for them to get it right and back to her. I used my insurances and maxed it out on contacts so I wouldn't lose it.
I'm very unsatisfied and would like to know answers and this location investigated. So others don't go thru the headache as I have
Lousy service. Waited a half hour for an eye exam when my son had an appointment. Felt like I was trying to buy a car instead of glasses. Ridiculous!! We walked out!!
Had surgery on my nose a week ago and have two stents inserted in the nostrils. I explained to the woman that I didn’t want to put the mask over my nose and she went off on me that I absolutely had to ware it even though I was having difficulty breathing.
She was rude, loud and pointing her finger at me. I get corporate policies!
However I also get that each situation has to be weighed upon its own merits. For god sake‘s you’re a physicians office that administers eye-care. And to be rudely treated like that just isn’t acceptable. Nobody was going to get hurt without me putting that mask over my nose.
But your employee has to Act Out some power-play when I can’t even breathe. Unbelievable.... I have had COVID...... I have had the anti bodies..... Nobody was going to get sick in that…
The doctor does not wear his mask correctly or wash his hands between patients. Very disrespectful
Finally I have glasses I can see out of BUT it took 8 months, 6 or 7 visits, 3 different eye exams (countless hours) , switching out lenses and prescriptions several times and a glaucoma concern that was never addressed or consulted about. AND I paid for progressive lenses and ended up with single vision glasses!
On top of it the GM didn't seem to care about my plight at all, and one of your associates was outright rude on a couple of occasions. The only saving grace was an optician named Kelly. I don't often vocalize dissatisfaction about products and services but this tops the list of WORST experiences in my life.

I received a call to come and pick up my contact lenses late Monday afternoon from Pearle Vision in South Jacksonville Beach, FL. I was not able to go to the store until Thursday. I drove 12 miles in traffic on my lunch hour to get there and had to park 2 parking lots away.
Finally get to the store and it is closed "for training". I'm not sure why the store representative didn't mention that they would be closed on Thursday when they called me but it was extremely annoying to get there and have them be closed.
That is a 24 mile trip on my lunch hour for nothing. After I pick up these contact lenses, I will never do business with this company again and I don't say that lightly. Customer service is the only thing that sets you apart anymore, and apparently this company has forgotten that.…
5/20/2019 I ordered new contacts, I didn't know but one of your associates put in the wrong zip code so I called to find out what happened, they said they had to reorder them now 2 weeks later I still don't have them. I feel like a fool you took my money and I still don't have my contacts.
Right now I am really mad they should be overnighted to me right now. I have already emailed you once and no one has called or contacted me. You people are not dependable what's so ever. I can see why you don't have any stars.
First , I had to make a ridiculously amount of visits trying to correct a huge error that your people made with the size of the bifocals and that day there were two others in the store complaining as well. I am too old for this and the Worst pair of glasses I've ever had.
Wrote that on your review. So disgusted with you guys and I still have a problem with these glasses. They tried to fix my problem however , they lied to me made me wait longer for still the wrong Glasses.
These won't stay up when I hold my head they will fall off and these were supposed to be Michael Kors and they are Derion. If this matter is not fixed I'm contacting my insurance company. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Sarita Williams
The service was horrible!!!!!! Mgr. refused to give me corporate phone number, refused to call lab to see were my glasses where. Mrg.
also refused to call ups to see if they had them on truck, refused to check tracking number for my glasses. I am going to put my experience on Facebook and any other place that people can read what a horrible business this is.
I wish I could leave ZERO STARS August 9, 2018. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Lenses sent to Mexico and Hong Kong for processing. and after three tries they still couldn't get my prescription right. I went in July 10 with my Ophthalmologists prescription in hand.
Ordered progressive lenses of my frames, $340. I was told 5-7 working days and they cut the lenses on site. TWO WEEKS later they arrive and the left lens is totally wrong/blurred and they can see it. So they reordered it.
Another 8 days it arrives again for the second try and AGAIN it is wrong and they promise to EXPEDITE for a third try. Again I wait another 8 days, no call from them so I call and find they were there yesterday and no one has called me and hadn't planned too today either.
So I drive in to get a refund now 30 DAYS AFTER…

I have never had a problem with eyeglass world, until now. My vision had changed dramatically, so I went in to the ocoee office to have my eyes checked and ordered No-line bifocals in sunglasses and regular daily wear glasses,on September 12, 2016. My sunglasses were in in less than three days. Waited until the following Wednesday, when I get a call stating my glasses came in but they had a,huge scratch on one lense (I'm thinking, with QC, this would never have happened, so more than likely, they forgot to order them!)
Anyways, the lady there made me a single vision pair to get me through until my glasses came in. She said she put a rush order on them, so they will be in on Friday or Monday. Well...it's now October 1, 2016! I get a call today telling me my sunglasses are in. I explained…
I had my eyes checked at Eyeglass World and ordered and paid for glasses the Dr. found a problem with my left eye. He gave me a proscription for eye drops and made a appointment to check the results.
However when I returned my appointment was given to others In order to sell glasses. This happened at the eye glass store on Hodges blvd. Jacksonville, FL.
