On 2-11-24 at approx:1230pm in Garner NC I experience the worst service ever. Older Black female cashier was very rude. I walked up to her register for help on the floor for a toe bag pricing. She stated there is no help on the floor, i have to see a manager and she never got me help.

I sit in the couch chair in the store and place my feet on the footstool. The same cashier shouted across the store at me " Don't place your feet on the chair. I refuse to purchase the couch or the footstool and exit the store.

Other customers walked out the store as well saying the cashier was rude to them as well . I will not return to that store. My number is 252-671-0089

I am at the Winston-Salem location right now trying to buy some stuff not only are the dressing rooms not open but they won’t take anything but Cash and I shop here a lot this is never happened. It seems like there’s just lazy because there’s plenty of people working here. I’ve called 800 number and it just cuts off on me.

I was in a Gabe's store today and I found out that they don't give no more senior discounts on Mondays. I am very disappointed in the store. I am not sure how often I will shop there anymore. I sure a lot of customers feel the same way.

I am not happy at all with this change especially during holiday shopping season. I am retire, so 10 percent is better than nothing. I hope your store would consider to keep the senior discount. Thank you for your time.

I am a rewards member and 2 weeks in a row now I could NOT use my rewards because the employee tells me they can not look it up. They have done this for years sowhy stop without notifying people.

Thegoof today literally told me some people could do it but he couldn't and wouldn't even get the mgr when I requested that.. I will no longer be a loyal customer!!! Shame on u Gabes!!!

hello..on friday sept 22, 2023 I showed and games and the girl asked me if I wanted to set up account as I was spending close to 100.00...I said yes...she took my email phone etc...then today. Sunday spent 24, I get an email to set up account...I did set up and none of my points are in my account...can u plz fix this...

I live in Anderson Indiana. I went to your store for the first time on Saturday August 12th. As I get to the register the young lady said to me I see you found all the snacks. I said yes and as I began to explain to her why she said: we don't take foodstamps. For 1.

I don't receive foodstamps, 2. I know that I am in a store that doesn't take foodstamps, 3. If I did why would you want to make me feel bad because I do.

I traveled to the Gabe’s in Monroeville. I got there at 9am. I checked the time they were opening online. I purposely timed it so that I’d get there early enough to be in & out . Before walking in I seen a note that read closed until 10 am there were no dates but the doors opened for me and people were in the store shopping that I seen so

It is DISGRACEFUL that your Company only acknowledges the "MILITARY" with a minimal discount of 10% on TUESDAYS of every week. not just on TUESDAYS! not just on TUESDAY'S. injury didn't occur on a Tuesday. step-up!

Ciara, the manager and Kaitlyn the worker at Gabes in Greensburg PA were very rude to us. They swore at us they yelled at us. 99. And they said someone else must’ve put it back to that rack and I said that’s not our fault that’s what is advertised as so.

That’s what we should get it as but they got all mad and started yelling at us and swore at us in front of other customers, and was very rude to us. They should not be working there. And I will contact an attorney if they continue working there, they are very ignorant and nasty women

I go to Gab's about once a week my rewards shows it.

However this is the second time that I've had trouble with two managers The last one a couple of months ago followed me through the store I was looking at clothes she stated I wish these damn people would put these clothes back where they found them. Very rude as she looked at me.

Yesterday I looked at hand bags I ask that lady these r on sale several wasn't marked she compair numbers she stated it would ring up at the register this Brenda I think that's what the guy at the cash register told me. I explained what that lady me about the cost ring up.

I went into the store in Mansfield Ohio with my daughter and my newborn grandson and the manager literally started screaming and yelling at us talking about we were shoplifting I didn't even have time to check out and pay for my stuff before she started screaming at us. Even though she accused me of that I still went and bought all my stuff which was $57 worth.

I am very angry with my experience with Gabe’s. I placed a Christmas layaway full of things my children would love. I have paid consistent payments on it and my receipt says it’s due out on 12/21. Imagine my shock after making my last payment and being informed my layaway can’t be found!

4 days before Christmas and all my gifts are just nowhere! Several associates went to check and said they are unable to locate. For my inconvenience, I can’t get a refund of my money paid but not the $10 layaway fee.

I asked to speak with a store manager but was told she’s not here. This is totally unacceptable! I work hard and was excited that layaway program would give me the opportunity to bring joy to my children. Drive here from another city only to my fully disappointed.

And now I only have 4 days…

I have did my Christmas shopping at Gabes for the last few years. This year I go to purchase remaining on my layaway and it was the worst experience I've ever had in shopping here at the garner Nc location .

Both of the young ladies I came in contact with neither greeted me upon entering the store, and as I paid for my items she gave me my receipt . 20 minutes go by still no one brings up my layaway, and the young lady who came up to ask me what my name was said her manger looking for it .

Purchased two layaway on two separate occasions. Both times I went to pick up layaway my items could not be found and was canceled. Keep in mind that I have picked up layaway before due dates. Very disappointed with the service.

I returned a pair of shoes, with the tags on, with a receipt. I was TOLD that I could not be refunded the tax unless I gave the store my driver's license. This policy is not written anywhere. I was furious that I had to give my personal driver's license number to your company without a valid reason to receive the money that was owed me.

According to your cashier , I bought the merchandise in another city that I was returning in and the taxes are different. This is true but having my driver's license has NOTHING to do with taxes. I feel that I have been scammed by your company.

I'm reporting a highly unpleasant and disappointing visit I had at the West Mifflin Gabe's, Pittsburgh, Pa. It was an 'okay'experience UNTIL I went to check- out. The cashier was as rude as they come. " WHICH is perfectly fine.

But, her demeanor was WAY off -point, as soon as I walked up.. I dont need conversation. I'm there to check out.

I was shopping at Gabes in Dundalk Maryland not knowing the store was closed to the public until I was at the register whe an employee argued with me about the store only being opened to employees and family only. Apparently employee only shopping was 9-10 The associate told me a sign was posted on the door.

According to Gabes website this store opened at 9amI. As I told the associate someone should have been at the door to inform customers that the store was closed to the public for employees and family to shop.. I arrived at the register 9:50 am.

I was told to wait outside in the hallway until their employees were finished. When I came back at 10:01am some employees were still at the register. I had to wait in line for an extra 10 minutes before an associate began to ring me up.

To whom it may concern, I am writing because, I had a very bad experience in the Gabe Store in Cookeville, TN. today 6/18. This was the first time I had been in the store. In fact I don't recall ever being in a Gabe's any where I Walked around the store to see what kinds of merchandise that was there.

I could not even walk down an isle without someone right there. I was treated as if I walked in the store as a ready thief. I stopped in isles just to be sure what was happening to me. no one was asking me if I needed help with anything.

I walked from one side of the store to the other, no one ever ask if I needed any thing. only looking down an isle to see if I was there. There were people in other isles that did not seem to be anybody watching.

While on vacation in Sevierville TN was shopping at Gabe's. An employee was very rude to my friend and me. My friend was showing me 6 boys short sets. So I just sit down in the lounge chair. The employee came by and said loudly you are not suppose to sit in the chairs!!

A lady shopping of course heard her too. She look at us shaking her head. My friend and I almost walked out of the store with nothing!! But we didn't get everything in our cart. My Dad had a business for 62 years.

He taught his employees that customers was always right...
