Having Heritage for your home owners insurance is like having no insurance at all. All that you get for your premiums is the right to sue, and they just took that away on new policies by requiring binding arbitration. Delay, delay, new adjuster, new adjuster, delay, field adjuster, incompetent engineer, delay, delay, you don't meet your deductible, then a check for 10% of your loss.
Don't like it- go to mediation or sue. They don't respond to letters or inquiries. Our roof claim alone is in the $100,000 to $140, 000 range, 30-50% destroyed. Multiple roof contractors and other experts have determined that the roof must be replaced, is not repairable, and it isn't even a close call.
Heritage sends out an incompetent engineer who is on their payroll in an attempt to justify their bad faith…
