QuickBooks took $3700 from my contractors bank account on 7/21/2023 as they suspected fraudulent activity. Upon further investigation on their site they found out that the transaction wasn’t fraudulent. I have already repaid my contractor but I still haven’t received the $3700 back to my account.

I’m being told that I have to wait 14-30 business days for the refund. This is complete BS as there was nothing fraudulent and I don’t understand why I have to wait this extended time to be repaid for an error on QuickBooks side.

When I call in all I get is the run around and get told there’s no one else I can speak with about this matter. I am a small business and the delayed fund’s reversal has caused a great hardship to me and my company.

At this I’m very frustrated and do not know what else…

Quickbooks should be sued for fake advertisements and for misguiding consumers. I regretfully express my extreme dissatisfaction with QuickBooks due to a catastrophic loss of my company data. Despite my utmost reliance on the software and its supposed backup capabilities, QuickBooks failed to recover my lost data when I was unable to login into my Apple Account to pay my subscription. Apple could not help me recover my Apple account and quickbooks cannot accept payments outside of Apple resulting in significant setbacks and countless hours of lost work.

The lack of a viable payment and data recovery option from QuickBooks is simply unacceptable. As a business owner, I trusted this software to safeguard my crucial financial information, but it failed me when I needed it the most. The…

I spent a total of five hours on four chats today, each ending in disconnection. They charged us for months $20 to accept payments and I found out that I wasn't supposed to be charged at all. They were unresponsive for refunds so I shut payment acceptance off and can't get it turned back on at all (which is free + usage to everyone) because apparently they retaliated.

The reps I dealt with today were completely incompetent and one was abusive to the point if it takes the rest of my life, I WILL get her fired. Quickbooks Online is a complete joke and I will receive service for life for free if they want to avoid a lawsuit.

I'm DONE playing this game. Customer since 2007. Time for my payback.

At the start of the year when it was time to renew my QuickBooks desktop service the recommendation was to use QuickBooks online because there were issues regarding QuickBooks desktop that were not resolved, in spite of spending multiple hours with the QuickBooks team to fix the problem of transferring data from the Bank of America to my account. The next recommendation was to pay for the bookkeeping services to transfer the data and then to have a monthly support with the bookkeeping services.

We have been trying to file taxes for 3 months and continued to have difficulty signing in. We finally got in and at the end we were charged $124 for the simplest taxes ever to do ourselves. At the end it asked us for $124 so we thought maybe we were wrong about it being free.

We paid and next page was to submit the forms to the IRS. It would not allow us to submit the taxes until we put a code in and it looked as thought the email address was different from what ours was (just off a few letters and

must have been an old address) I emailed and they said they would call back in 17 min. They called and we were on the phone for 1/5 to 2 hours and she kept saying she could not find the account.

I went to update my DMS that I purchase through Intuit. I had called the help line as I needed to update and I was having issues with DMS with the phone numbers and emails were not updating through Lacerte client transfers. She had my run Hub Tools on my data base. After running it I could no longer use my original 21 data base and had to use a data base that hub tools had created. She then transferred those clients to my 22 DMS but didn't wait on the line.

On Friday I went to start using it and none of my PDF's would open. I called the help line and it turns out that the agent from the day before incorrectly used a database and now has caused permeant damage to that database. I called customer service to find out about my renewal. I talked to Znartreka she told me I was not on the account and that I would have to have someone on the account call in. I have been on the account since 2003 and am the business owner. She would not transfer me to a supervisor or stay on the line while I logged into the account. She told me that she could not transfer me or help me and hung up.

This was extremely unprofessional and if I had another choice other than Intuit I would take it.

We have requested a refund 5 times – each receiving a scripted or BOT answer. Can we please have our problem addressed by a Human Being. We’ve been referred by QB Live Bookkeeper to QB Customer Service refund department and back again – each referring to the other.

I have multi transactions missing on QB. I talk to multiple reps . This has been going on for over a month . Quarterly taxes are late due to issue not being resolved . Reps are not calling me back .

I get emails saying this is resolved but it’s not . I been getting the run around for over a month now and no one knows anything. My account is messed up badly and I have to report to irs why my taxes are not right due to QB.

I have pictures and emails of things for proof. 7314348893 please give me a call before this goes any further . There will be expenses if this is not resolved and keeps on happening and a lawyer will get involved due to the big expense I am about to have to pay for someone else to get my account current and correct for tax purposes.

We recently began using QB online, and we also switched our payroll to QB. I entered the payroll information in for each employee per instructions, but the first quarter figures were doubled. I have been trying to get this mistake corrected since July, to no avail.

My tickets have been escalated, then closed, several times. Intuit people call me at 7, 8, or 9 o'clock at night when I am not a work. I let them know my work hours and ask them to call me back. The don't.

've been on the phone for 3 hours again today. I was told that my last ticket was escalated incorrectly, so no one had even looked at my problem. Again. There's is no simple way to correct this on my own.

Intuit QuickBooks Payment service is horrible. A simple phone number change request takes four different SR cases and is still not close to a resolution. They waste five days of my time back and forth on nick-picking minor things like these people have zero brains.

Can someone please help these people straight? Intuit, please deprecate this product line. And you need to have more focus on customer service.

Dear QuickBooks Complaint Department, We upgraded our QuickBooks in April of 2021 per the suggestion of your Rep Gail Jones. We purchased the Quick Books Accountant 2021 version for 8 users with the 3-year package.

We have used the product for 16 months without the ability to have all 8 users on at once. We have an additional 20 months left on this service. See breakdown below. In general I am just unhappy with QB2020. The previous one I had (2010) was fine and I have regretted purchasing the upgrade. It insists on opening using an icon that jumps up and down until I log on whenever I start up my MacBook taking up considerable memory and entries have unnecessary steps.

It also try's to open a web connection to put my files onto their cloud and want no one to have that information. This is somewhat like big brother. The help feature has yet to help me for almost 3 years now.

This is an overdeveloped program that seems to be designed to force you into one of their classes. I have been advised by accountants and such that there are much better programs available for single users and QB has departed from their original purpose.

Why did Turbo Tax not catch the discrepancy when my husband erroneously entered routing information in 35b and 35d, yet checked 35a that Form 8888 was attached? Form 8888 was attached and completed correctly with the amount to go to Series I Paper Bonds and the balance direct deposited into checking. The IRS deposited the entire refund into our checking.

I feel Turbo Tax should have caught these conflicting entries and attached Form 8888 during review of the return. This was a costly error with Series I Bonds at 9.62%.

My 2020 state taxes were wrong which had me paying 1,992 too much. I didn't catch the mistake because of the Covid Cares Act. My state originally didn't follow federal rules by allowing the additional income to be split up over 3 years.

For some unknown reason 50k was added back to my state return. I went to my states website to ammend my return with no problem.

However before I finalized it I tried to ammend the return on Turbo Tax and it took my over payment and shuffled the numbers around and showed I owed 1808. It was very disturbing and frustrating. I paid over two hundred dollars these past two years and was told yes ur return is correct when in fact one was rejected by the irs and the other I grossly over paid

I was told March 7th I would be refunded for the services of turbo tax . Because my 50% discount was never applied and was told that was the only option ,so ok fine with me. 22 days later I get a letter ,irs suspects a fraudulent return.

Not sure if they outright lie or they forget. They tell you they will give you a call back in 10 mins and they never did. They probably used that just to get rid of me. Nobody seems to know what the other person is doing, I have to explain my whole issue 3 times to 3 different people, only to tell me they don't know.

The original person I talked to never called back or can't be tracked, she seem to disappeared. Although her co-work claimed she just messaged her. I wonder what the call center staff really do?????

I recently purchased your 2021 Premier turbotax software. When I got to the state tax portion, your product forced me to submit state taxes for Florida, where we lived in the beginning of the year. We filed in Florida for at least ten years and never filed for income taxes.

We now live in Connecticut, where we have to submit a state tax froms Obviously, that is the state where we expected to file taxes. As far as I am concerned this is a bait and switch tactic. It is not entirely unlike what happened in 2020, when Turbo tax changed your product so that the customer had to buy up in order to include carryover capital gains tax.

Intuit just auto-renewed our annual subscription for 2022 Quickbooks Plus at double the price it was last year with absolutely no notice of the increase in price before auto-renewing. In my opinion this is entirely unethical to jump the price so much especially without notice or choice! Our organization is a very small nonprofit that is barely hanging on so this $400 surprise hurts a lot! When I called to see if we could downgrade to a program with less features that costs less, I was told by a woman (with a thick accent that I could barely understand and had to ask to repeat herself so I could understand) that they do not allow downgrading in this situation.

Intuit used to be a company with excellent customer service and a good product. I am very sorry to see that it has downgraded…

Bank accts were frauded, so closed on Dec 17 (Friday). Called Intuit on Dec 20 (Monday) to get new bank acct put into system. After numerous phone calls and wasted HOURS over an entire MONTH, Intuit has still NOT updated our bank acct.

Result: Our payroll program is on HOLD; the IRS is not receiving payroll tax payments; W2s cannot be accessed for our employees; I am unable to access tax calculations for paper checks to be issued; our credit with IRS has been damaged and the cycle repeats itself day after day.

It is 10:16 EDT and I am unable to reach anyone at Intuit. ). Bank Acct Change Request has been uploaded 3 times, along with copy of voided check for new acct. I have been given several Case #s and "my case" has been ESCALATED 3 times.

A person named Sharlene MAZZA a supposed quick books licensed pro set up 44 new customers to our already set up quick books/ calls her company security financial solutions. Sharlene Mazza invoiced a total of $ 1473.50 from 5/8to 5/15 for complete over billing, $ 1200.00 set up fee which was paid., another invoice for $ 596.00 for 5/13 to 5/23. $ 3900.00 in one month. I pay $ 1400.00 a year for complicated taxes.

In October 2018, I was required to file and submit payment for quarterly state taxes. The payment was drawn from my account by Quicken and submitted to the state, but Quicken failed to submit the account information with it (as they have done in the past).

My indication that the "ball" had been dropped was when I received notice from the state of my failure to pay the taxes. I contacted Quicken and, although difficult to work with, the representative claimed that all payments and documentation was submitted.

I contacted my financial institution and confirmed that a draw and payment had been made to the state. I then contacted the state, and they tracked down the payment, but showed no associated paperwork being filed. That is where my compaint lies...

A quick books certified person Sharlene Mazza , she works out of parrish fl. calls her rip off over billing company Security financial solutions. She charged anglo American services , my company. $ 3269.50 for 1 month service at $ 45.00/hour. She charged a $ 1200.00 set up fee, for 44 customer entries in which anglo already had quick books for all current customers. She then billed and kept billing for all the work that should of been in the $ 1200.00 set up fee.

We just received a letter from wi dept of revenue and stating that our wt-6 was wrong and that it didn't match the wt-7 funny how first 3 quarters were wrong and the last quarter was right on the money. I trust that quickbooks would give me the right amount of quarterly withholdings but come to find out 3 quarters were wrong and now we are being charge a interest chg of 53.65 in which I feel that you owe that to us. We used TurboTax Deluxe to compute our taxes and then completed an extension request, as funds won't be available until August. By then, we may sell our remaining property and not have to declare ANY of the sale.

However, TurboTax would NOT efile the request because we owe AND it provided the IRS mailing address based on our getting a refund. If I hadn't followed up, Secret Service agents would have been after us for tax evasion.

Turbo Tax now providing unfinished software to consumers. Short of getting it directly from them at a substantially higher price, (of course completed program), or signing up with a public forum like CREDIT KARMA good luck. This is just one more failure on their part for customer service.

It is little wonder that they are losing so many of their once loyal consumer base to other providers, they have lost the most meaningful corporate requirement: CUSTOMER SERVICE! Will be letting other's know about their failing products.

This complaint refers to the 2017 Turbotax Deluxe edition.

I zipped right through the process of completing my daughter's Federal and State returns. 5 stars so far. THEN it came time to e-file. Federal return went fine.

State return was a disaster. FIRST you upped the price from $20 to $25, THEN I got into the jungle of charging that overcharge to my credit card! There has to be some way to simplify that sign in process. Why do I have to establish an account just to give a simple payment ? And you had the guts to ask for another $39.95 if I wanted to deduct the $25 from the return !!

I feel you owe me at least a refund of the e-file amount, maybe the whole $44.95 I paid for the Deluxe CD.

I requested my ID (request number 137674) be changed at sign in. It was denied. Not sure why. All I wanted to do was change my billing information and address. I must have spoken to at last six people who gave me different instructions, but I still cannot sign in to my account.

Does Intuit customer service ever answer? I have spent over five hours trying to resolve a simple request. I would never treat my customers the way your company seems to do.

Every year Intuit corporate offices say lets raise the fee by 1,000 for no reason. The customer service number is terrible. Now they speak clear English but we have to pay more for that? And that doesn't include more payroll cost they hit you with during the year!

I'm on Quicken 2014 Deluxe and have just upgraded from Version 8 to 9. In attempting to update my files with the bank, I received a message that I needed a six-digit number to confirm my identity. I requested the number via email and to be returned via email.

By the time I got the email and entered the number I received a msg. that it had expired. - 9 minutes. The result was the same - expired. I called support and connected after 54 minutes. The young lady (I did not get her name) was very patient and tried several things but to no avail.

Bottom line I cannot update my files which means that Quicken is worthless to me until I can. The case number is 418562446.

Can't get through to anyone at Intuit customer service, after 20 minutes on the phone with the corporate office. I need to cancel my email account because I have a CPA currently doing this for me. I am going to have to go to the credit card company and put a block for any Intuit charges.

I continued to get an error message from Intuit TurboTax when doing my final review. The system kept taking me back to a 1099R form ann stating that an amount must be entered. Since none of my 1099R forms did not contain any of that data, I went to the help button, community responses and no answers to the question......so then I called the 1-800 # for Intuit customer service. I was put on the eternal hold and finally after a 1/2 hr, someone answered. I went through the problem and they said they could not answer the call and that they would transfer to someone who could. another 1/2 hour on the phone and I get someone to answer and they literally did the same thing and transferred me again.......another 1/2 hour and no answer and I just hung up.

I have attempted to resolve this issue on 3 different occasions without any solution to the problem. Burned up hours on the phone waiting for someone to answer form intuit support. I extract last years balance sheet and then attempt to drill down into the transactions that make up that balance. When I attempt to get the detailed transactions some times nothing comes back and occasionally I get parts and pieces of the transactions.

It is essential that I view last years transactions to ensure they are properly recorded by account type. I have 4 companies on quick books on line and this only happens with the company that has switched to new and greatest report format (as hyped by intuit). We need to resolve this quickly so I can proceed with information that will be used for tax return…

I have been trying to change my email address on my Mint Bills account for over a week now. I can spoken with their customers service numerous times over the phone. I have sent them screenshot like they requested 2-3 times and they still can't figure it out.

I find it that their customer service are having a hard time understanding my issues even though, it's very simple! very frustrating!

For the past 20 years or more, I have used TurboTax Basic with NO complaints. This year I first had trouble with the download. Then I was told that I needed to upgrade to the Deluxe edition to Itemize Deductions.

Downloading the upgrade to Deluxe, they included the State software which I don't use and didn't want because I use the FREE PA Revenue website. I need a phone number to contact Intuit staff to discuss this issue. That's it! I'm done! Bye bye TurboTax!

The time of me being a loyal Turbo Tax customer for over 20 years has come to a complete stop and I will NEVER do business with them again. They removed three tax schedules from their Delux program that has always been there and are now charging EXTRA to use what was once part of the program. GOODBYE!!!
