They advertise the ability to ask a question of a pro for $5. After the fact, they charge $40 extra to post the $5 question. Seems like a scam to get credit card number or take advantage of the elderly.

I was charged $40 on 5/27, in addition to the $5 to ask the question.

I paid the five dollar charge but the mechanic gave me totally wrong advice. He was very nice, but he was totally on the wrong trac. Tried to complain directly to justanswer but all I get is a form to apply for their services. It's a SCAM.

Tell you it is only R15 joining fee but doesn't clarify that automatic R720 membership paymentxome with that. Just want to have a look around and then got billed for a whole month's membership. Attahched is an image of what they tell you

Was told that I would only be charged $1 to sign up and was actually charged $56. com Customer Service and was told that the $55 would not be refunded. DO NOT USE THIS SCAMMING SERVICE! The Tech that answered my question was no help at all.

I asked for assistance on one matter during November, 2021 and expected to pay the charge of (Australian) 67.98. However, I did not expect to be billed that amount every month since!!

5 years ago. Here is a copy of Information exchanged between myself and JUSTANSWER’S automated assistance; Hello I purchased a GE Washer 7/06/20 model #GTW720. We registered online as well. Our issue (and we certainly can’t be the only ones), is that during the spin cycle about 30% of the time we hear it making that familiar knocking sound like the old washers use to make when it’s not properly balanced.

We do not run large bulky loads. It’s only two of use and it’s mostly workout clothing, sheets, and towels (all separately). Eventually it stops and we see water filling into the basket. Then drains and respins which many times does not solve them problem.

We cancel the wash, rearrange the soaking wet items and make…

The ALL the rep's was completely rude and English was very broken. They have charged me 2 months for 1 question that was NOT helpful advice given and I emailed and spoke to a rep to cancel and was still BILLED.

I called to at least get one payment back; each rep was very rude and over talks. NEVER. ***** PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM******

I spotted a billing of $28 to my credit card account dated 1-12-2020. I contacted JustAnswer on Monday 1-13-2020 and requested a cancellation of their service and a refund of the $28. The company agreed to process the cancellation but refused to provide a refund prorated to 1-13-2020. The billing is in advance until 2-11-2020.

Billing customers beyond their requested cancellation date is bad business. It forces them to pay for unwanted service and generates ill will against the business. When prospective customers read about these practices, they tend to avoid the business altogether.

Any other company sends monthly billing notices so customers know that a bill is forthcoming. JustAnswer does not send billing notices at all. They continue to charge automatically to the customer's credit…

Thinking it was a FREE service, I asked justanswer.com a question. Do not remember the question. Anyway, I found a $5.00 charge on my DISCOVER card. I thought the charge was ridiculous, but did NOT contest it.

THEN, on looking back, it seems Just Answer has been billing me since SEPTEMBER through DFCEMBER! They told me on the phone today about December. The charge is $46.00 for MEMBERSHIP (which I dp not acknowledge or have I consented to).FOUR charges of $46.00, totaling $189. Quite an interesting scam you got going there!

com for help. I was required to pay $4 for their help, an agreeable price. So I authorized what I firmly believed was a one-time charge. My next two bank statements proved me wrong, however, as they began monthly debits of $46!

In order to get them to stop this scam I had to zero out my debit card and request a replacement. In no way at no time did I intend to sign up for any longterm program—I requested help on one issue one time only.
