There has got to be an easier way! I have 5 Linksys Extenders. They all went off line when I replaced my old Spectrum modem with a new device. I just spent 30 minutes with a Linksys staffer trying to reconnect the devices.

What I found odd was how everything I was told to do sounded like a complete guess! I gave up after downloading anydesk 5 times on both. There really should be a standard set of simple instruction that Linksys owners could follow in order to avoid the model/plug-unplug/anydesk runaround.

I was treated woth poor customer service and left with a locked WiFi extender after asking to help assist me reset a password. I spoke to the floor manager some named victor and another gentleman all were rude, hung the phone up I.

My face as I was talking to them several times pleading to help me reset my WiFi device. The all laughed made jokes saying hello this is McDonald’s, joking as If they were 911 dispatcher and not taking my situation serious.

Is that how the customer support handle business ? Is this the people representing you’re company its embarrassing how they were joking like teenagers hanging up In customers face freely when I’m tryna u sweat and what they are saying, I payed my hard earned money to buy one of you’re products and

Bought lovely new top-of-the line router. It did not work. Customer service was unpleasant, condescending, almost hostile. I don't care how good the tech is, I don't feel right about paying money to an organization that treats me poorly. Have packaged the device for return. Awful experience.

I have been a Linksys customer for nearly 20 years, but after this I will never buy another Linksys product. I have configured my router so that I can only sign in to it when I'm at home. I open up my web browser and type in my router's IP address and enter my local access password and I'm in.

Linksys applied a firmware update that overrides this. com instead. Linksys bills this as a free service that lets me access my router from anywhere in the world. I absolutely do not want to use this service. Many companies are offering this type of service.

There have been several ransomware attacks that gained access by exploiting the vendor's website. If I don't allow connections except from my local network then I don't have to worry about this issue. By forcing me to sign in at Linksys's…

I purchased a Linksys router (model MR9000) with a 12 month warranty from Linksys on 9-26-21 and with extended technical support.

The router failed 2 weeks ago . Linksys no longer has that model number router and they want to charge me to replace it with another comparable model.

I have been a Linksys customer since they became a company (old name was Cisco). I am very disappointed with the lack of service and quality of support.

Since they no longer have that model number router, I believe that the only fair thing to do is to refund the purchase price of the router and refund the extended customer support plan and send me another router with a new support plan.

I have had to call to troubleshoot a router and instead of replacing it I have to troubleshoot EVERY TIME and the router still has the same issues. I request to speak to a supervisor and I am placed on hold for more than 5 minutes with no check in or answers.

I have constant issues with my router. I have spent 4.5 hours on hold today waiting for customer service to fix it and they disconnect the call every time I finally get through.

I called for help connecting an extender I’ve been using for a little over a year. After 40 min waiting someone answers rudely and we begin the process. We were almost half way through reconnecting my extender to my new router where I mentioned that I enjoyed the extender and we just got a new router.

Then she tells me she can’t help me anymore because I’ve been using it for over a year and wanted to charge me FORTY DOLLARS to stay on the phone with tech support. She gave me an attitude the whole time. Disgusting.

purchased a manufacturer refurbished product from online retailer i read that this product was under 90 warranty and support. i call 3 times to your support center, first call technical support (philippine associate) tells me to do the following. reboot my pc.

i do that and nothing. she says if that fails then to hit the reset button. nothing. this is after im told they will honor 90 day support even though the warranty has run out from an online purchase 8 days go. may the earthquake.

i hang up and i call back again and am told that 1. not under warranty. 2. they need all the information including serial number which the prior call confirmed to me. ok fine. i do that. then she says the warranty is expired this time. SO…

Had a Linksys modem but it crapped out and bought a new one. I can't register my modem properly because I don't have a computer. The Linksys customer service rep and supervisor I called on the phone are stupid. They keep telling to use a admin password but it doesn't work.

I have been on the phone for over an hour and still trying to get through to someone who might know what they are doing but I doubt it. Horrible.
