purchased a may tag washer. The motor is no good. Rather than take their product back, They just want to fix it. I asked them to Contact the service company, Have them to send pictures. That way I could prove the machine had burnt out the 3 items that they want to replace.

No one is willing to help. It would cause this company nothing to replace this washer. This is sad, So I'm leaving this review ,if something . I would hope their company Pull heir phone calls.

You may also refer to file #7727833120 from the onset of the multiple problems I've experienced.

The ice maker container was extremely difficult to remove to empty the bin. Eventually it completely stopped making ice altogether. This refrigerator could not evenly control the temperatures even when a technician that was sent out via my request through Maytag customer service.

Said refrigerator would freeze vegetables and items that were placed on the shelf near the ice maker would burst. The latch that controlled the on and off lighting broke with a few months. on July 4th…

Bought a Maytag washer in June of 2021, complained at the time that when unpackaged there was water leaking out and a dent in the side was afraid during peak covid it was a return and sure enough just months into the use we had problems. There are just two of us 70 and over here so not a lot of laundry… The Service Guy repair services were here 3 times within a six month period before the motor problems seemed to be fixed.

Exactly one year later, last week June 26, 2022 the same problem, Black crap under the washer just like before when the transmission was bad. This time I tried to talk to a service rep via chat and after going through all this garbage of providing information to the chat person I was directed to a form to fill out for a $1 to talk to a technician.

I purchased a new Maytag dryer about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I do not like this dryer at all. My old Maytag was so much better. I tried to take it back but I have a reluctant salesman to work with me.

I hate that the knob does not click directly on the setting I try to get and my stuff is not even dry in 60 minutes. I do not OVERLOAD. I especially dislike the cool down. My clothese come out wrinkled.

In my old dryer they came out hot and not wrinkled. Please work with me on returning the dryer and get one that works like my old one, that I was happy with.

First time I have ever been VERY dis-satisfied with a Maytag appliance.

We bought a brand new maytag hvac in 2017. In 2020 we paid 1800 to have it repaired & again in may 2022 we are having to have it repaired again. So, apparently every 2 years something goes wrong & it's thousands to have them fixed.

I am so disappointed in maytag. They used to be the best. Now, they are garbage. I will never buy another maytag product. You have lost a lifelong customer.

Bought a Maytag dryer in May 2019, quit working May 2022. Not under warranty anymore, per Maytag. So, their motto "Dependable for Life " is BS! Offered me a service plan for $360! I could buy a new dryer for $500. Maytag sucks!!!

Purchased a Maytag washer around the 1 of Nov. From the 1st day it had issues but because we weren't familar with washer figured operator error. Our washer broke about 6 weeks ago and we are still with out a washer nor has the company offered to give us a new machine.

The town we live in is not small but there is only 1 certified maytag repairman . The washer needs a new motherboard. Still waiting for the repair . Cant believe we still have no washer for our family .

I should never have had to go even once with a new washer. So disappointed in maytag and we even purchased the extended warranty.

Purchased a MVW7232HW on 8/3/21. Always had an issue with balance on draining. Now attempting to make contact with Maytag repair and it is a nightmare. Will broadcast through my Real Estate MLS MAYTAG is impossible to get repaired. Their service department is a nightmare to deal with.

The washer does not work correctly and getting it repaired is impossible.

My Maytag washer has not worked since we got it correctly. Periodicly it would not wring out the clothes,since it was a new machine you think operator error. Now it has completely quit working . I'm a single parent work full time plus I take care of my mother who's been in an out of hospital for last 6 months.

My washer I was told on Friday needs a new brain . I've been without for 2 weeks now were talking another 2 weeks unexceptable . That's why I bought a brand new washer So disappointed in the quality of Maytag help.

I should have been given a new machine and you keep this one. Home depot could care less too This is just wrong

My complaint is with this company who proposes that they are so maintenance free that you don’t have to call the repair man remember those commercials from the 80s and the guy would sit there waiting on a service call well I’ve had my Maytag commercial washer for about three years paid 900+ dollars on it in less than three years time I have gotten an estimate for repairs on my three year old washer for 500+ dollars so someone needs to explain to me why the hell Maytag makes such a crap product that after three years you would have to reinvest back into your machine 500+ dollars we need to buy a washer for another couple more hundred may tag you disappoint me and

The day after my first repair on my washing machine, it broke again (less than a year old). It has been two months and I have yet to get it fixed. I keep getting the same answers, it’s been ordered and there’s nothing they can do about it.

I even spoke to a supervisor who said she would call me in one week to update me, that was over two weeks ago and I never heard back. It’s so frustrating that I’ve been without a washing machine this long and I can’t get through to anyone who can help me.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We bought a new "american made" washer 7 months ago and have only been able to use it for 2 of those mi ths total. We have had 2 drsin pumps go out and this last time the drain hose wasnt put back on and it flooded our floor mid cycle and began to shake so much that the frame bent.

It takes months to get someone out to repair it and then it breaks days later. Garbage washer. Will be continuing to write complaints until we receive our money back.

I purchased my Maytag washing machine in August of 2020. At that time I also purchased a Maytag dryer. I was excited about my new products as laundry is a large part of my life. In July of 2021 we began to have some issues with our washing machine.

When trying to start a cycle and turn the machine on, the panel would flash different lights and take several tries to get it started and eventually it didn’t turn on at all. As one can imagine this was very disappointing as the machine was not even one year old.

I returned to the store where the machine was purchased and they gave me information on the company to call. They suggested because I was still under a year to look into purchasing an extended warranty especially since the machine was already having issues.

I waited an hour and 10 minutes before I was connected to a person that could help me find a replacement part. And in the end what it was I needed was a 6 foot power cord for a Maytag gas dryer.

That is what my other Maytag dryer had was a 6 foot power cord. This one came with only a 5 foot power cord and was not able to reach my outlet without me purchasing an additional extension cord. Mag tag does not offer a 6 foot power cord for their gas dryer.

So after an hour and 10 minutes I was no closer to solving the problem. That amount a wait time is unacceptable. Maytag needs to hire more people at their call centers even if that takes paying them more money to attract more workers.

We purchased the Maytag Bravos XL washer in October, 2019. We've had to repair this washer three times--all circuit board related. This is ridiculous!! There should be a recall on the circuit board alone. The majority of the complaints online and on YouTube are circuit board related.

If nothing else, you should act in good faith and do what is right by the consumer.

Since purchasing a Maytag dishwasher on 9/4/2021 I have been held hostage to a defective product and non-existent service and customer service. The dishwasher came out of the box with a damaged door. I found out later, when using the dishwasher, that the tub is also damaged which resulted in $10,519 worth of damage to the hardwood floors in my kitchen.

Even though I paid for a NEW WORKING appliance, Maytag tells me that I am only entitled to a repair of the defective product. I have spent hours on hold with service, taken off work multiple times for service repair calls that did not result in a fixed appliance. Customer service at Maytag tells me they are following company policy.

I have previous own different washers, so when I needed to buy a new washer and dryer I decided to try Maytag. Needless to say at this point, I am unhappy with the washer. Bought my washer on October 7, 2021 and it quit working January 9, 2022.

Washer only lasted 3 months. Repair guy said he had to replace , I believe, on the agitator. Apparently, this is a common occurrence on Maytag washers. Eighth one he has fixed in the last two weeks. Now how long after he fixes the problem will it happen again.

If I could afford it, I would take it back and get another brand. Since, apparently since this is a common occurrence, someone in your company needs to be addressing this issue. Sincerely, Joyce Vaughn a very dissatisfied customer.

On January first of 2021, I purchased a Maytag front load washer dryer combo, model number MHW5630HC. In December, we began getting suds and F9 E1 error codes. We use HE pods and have checked the drainage line and have cleaned the door and ran affresh in the system and the machine will still not drain.

I finally called on December 29th and the Maytag Rep who initially tried to walk me through troubleshooting steps, got us set up with a repair man. The earliest date he could get there was January 12th of 2022. With dirty clothes knee deep in the dining room, I am left with trying to figure out how to manage this laundry for two weeks.

Good Afternoon My name is Janie Martinez and I purchase a Maytag Washer and Dryer approx. 2 yrs ago this month and 3 mos ago my dryer was not heating. I have extended warranty and Appliance Care has been sending tech's to the house once a month and "Not" one tech has been able to figure out why the Dryer is not Heating.

One tech says it is your power outlet so I hired an Electrician and replaced it then the Dryer still was not Heating .

99+tax on November 3. Broke down a month after purchased. I scheduled a service repair on line and was given an appointment repair today 12/8 between 12p-4p. Guess what? Repair service is fully booked for today and earliest time they can check my washer is in 2 days.

Not only does your product breaks down easy but your online repair service appointment site is not reliable. Last Maytag brand I will buy for sure.

Bought a top load washer on March 21 of 2021. On July 31 2021 the piece of junk broke. Set up a service call and on August 4th some guys came just to tell me they had to order parts.

Today is Nov 12th and I am still waiting for parts that have been on backorder. I have tried my best to get this resolved and maytag has absolutely refused to do anything about it. I will never buy another Whirlpool/ Maytag product again!

My Maytag washer that is still under warranty already has three major problems I have had no washer for over 6 weeks starting with not being able to get the cover unlocked to get the serial number or model number “need that for them to even talk to you then manager over service department did really nothing to help me out has to when I would receive the parts only wanted to say he sympathized with me.

We purchased a Maytag washer and dryer in 2019. The dryer has been making a shrieking sound. Called them only to be told the "10 year" warranty stamped on them only includes 2 parts and no labor. Unreal, a dryer that it 2 years old is already breaking down and they obviously don't care.

We purchased them because of that 10 year warranty stamp and the "made in America" stamp as well. Maytag has become an unethical, false advertiser. I will be sure to post this on social media to warn others.

Hi. 5 months. A repair man came and did what he could. That lasted about 1 week. I called again to complain and nothing. Not only does your machine not work but your service sucks. I am sick of going to a laundry mat and washing items out by hand.

Maytag use to be top notch but far from it now. We are building a new house and we were thinking of all new appliances from you but thinking twice. Action is needed! Thank you.

bought washer november last year. Delivered January. There were multiple problems with delivery.(sent only one guy, needed two to stack machine. Only couple week additional delay. then broke mid august.. have been waiting for repair. Since purchasing machine we haven’t done 15 wash loads. probably costing me close to 50 dollars a month. Purchased washer on July 29, 2018 on August 8, 2021 washer would not agitate in the first cycle. Called repair, 25 minutes waiting, and was told they would send a repair person but it would be 10 days. ) and two other plastic parts.

repair person was very helpful I have no complaints about him, but the Maytag company is now making a lousy product. I have since found out that you also make Whirlpool. The same thing happened to my Whirlpool dryer. After three years almost to the day and the same day as my washer broke so did the dryer.

The dryer we were able to get the part. 00. Be very careful buying named appliances, They are almost all made by the same company.

I had purchase a Maytag washer in January. My washer broke in July and I keep getting the run around about someone coming out to fix it. Here it is Sept 1st and my washer is still broke.. I am having to go back to Landry mat to wash clothes again.

S and S appliance stated my part was in and asked me to schedule online which I did. No one showed up nor contacted me so now I guess its pushed to the 23rd of this month. Maytag either need to bring me a new washer because I am not paying another dime on this washer until it get fixed or replaced...

Cannot get help for a 4 month old washer!! We thought Maytag was the best -NOT!!!! I live in a remote area and have no laundromat with an hour of my home - service is only weekly to the area , and parts are back ordered - I can get the part and the washer fixed but not through the service providers Whirlpool allows.

I have been eating almost 2 weeks - now they say it won’t be fixed fir a month - ready to put it on the side of the road!!!

We ordered a microwave from them at the end of May and knew it was on backorder with planned delivery for end of June. One unit was shipped we were notified to pick a date, however the date of supposed delivery was pushed back another 2 weeks.

Maytag used a 3rd party service vendor for delivery and install (jb hunt). Upon delivery the microwave was damaged on the back of the unit and unable to be installed. Jb hunt said it would notify maytag of the issue to get a replacement.

The complaint is twofold as jb hunt issued it as a return and not replace with no follow up or confirmation from maytag. When we called to find out when the replacement would be available my husband was basically told there is nothing we can do about it and its not our problem as we just do what the driver tells us…

Bought a Maytag top loader in End of October 2020. In six months the spin cycle was not working well, then started shaking every time and making loud noise, then started sounding like an airplane taking off in my laundry room.

Called Maytag , girl said she didn’t know if I could return, put me on hold and I finally hung up after half hour. Called again, different person, same thing.

Finally ended up complaining to automated person which then passed me on to real person in chat. She was actually very helpful. But, washing machine is junk. While trying to get money back at Lowe’s (who are also not very helpful), another lady was returning exact same washer for same reason.

I have a Maytag washing machine that I purchased less than 3 months ago and it is completely unusable. Had a repairman out to look at it and he needs to replace several parts. When I called Maytag originally to make a service appointment, I told the person there was a really loud grinding sound when the agitator starts moving during the cycle.

She tried to tell me that that sound was normal. Totally disgusted!

February 13, 2021 purchased MVWC565FW from Menards Muncie Indiana. Purchased under Claretta Dutro of Hartford city Indiana. 3 months later it doesn’t clean clothes. 3 weeks later still no repair service center callback. 3 different Maytag reps say the same thing; no service in our area.

First rep says I have to call someone to schedule repair. A business I didn’t buy it from??? 3 weeks w/o washing machine. We don’t live in a cave nor atop highest mountain. Very close to 6 major cities. If your warranty is only good in certain areas of this country, please let that next customer know before you take their money from them.

Me and my wife purchased the Maytag Bravos XL 3 years ago from a big retailer. Tried calling customer service who finally answered after waiting over 20 minutes. Did not act like she could care less after explaining my issue with the unit .

Someone who is representing a huge Company would at least seem like they would like to help . does not give me any reason to spend money on this brand again which I thought would last more than 3 years ago ☹️

Our dishwasher stopped working, and after trying to reset it and follow some other suggestions we were forced to have a repairman come and diagnose the problem. They took off the front of the front cover and discovered s a wire, in a harness, had come completely out of the harness.

They told me this wasn't the first time they'd seen this defect. 80 to have to have the wire plugged back into our MD87749AW1 dishwasher. In my humble opinion you should cover the cost of repair since you are aware of this malfunction/deficiency. Sincerely, a frustrated customer. John Kirby
