It is impossible for Megabus to keep a schedule--'even when leaving Unuion Station at 7:20 AM. This has nothing to do with traffic. The driver just hasn't shown up. )

The megabus I took fro. New York to philadelphia was supposed to stop first at market street and then at northeast corner of skhuyilkill ave and walnut street In reality it stopped at market street and then they told us to get off the bus.

If I am paying for a certain journey I pretend that exact journey. 15 PM on 03/31/23.

So i booked my reservation in advanced n was told bc of your cancellation, you don't have anything from 11/19-28. I’ve never had any problems with your company but this is too much there’s no accommodation for me when its not fault and why do I have to schedule with link instead of customer service help. Bus driver smells of alcohol and has really bad attitude. Feel like he stereotyped me from the beginning by asking me if I had a firearm. Then when stopping in Prescott had attitude because he said I wasn't far enough from the propane tank so I put cigarette out and he proceeded to me face.

Telling me he is gone put me off cause now I have my foot in the aisle. All of the trips I take on this bus I have never has a problem! What has happened to this company it sucks!

The bus that was to pick up passengers at the Lacrosse bus depot address is 314 Jay St, La Crosse, WI 54601never showed up. It was to arrive at 2:35. At 3:00 while I was still waiting with my daughter she called megabus for an ETA update.

She was told 3:20 was the new arrival time. I left my daughter around 3:10 to go to an appointment. At 4:00 my daughter calls me and says not only did the megabus NOT show up but she informed that it was on its way back to Madison.

The driver of the bus lied as to his whereabouts. This company is covering for his lie by typing into there records that the driver was in Lacrosse, Wi. bus depot. There are cameras at the station that show myself and my daughter there way before the scheduled bus arrival.

Found a wallet at Orlando Mall station, gave to driver, it had cash, ID for Mr. Maignan, driver stated he would take to Atlanta/Norcross station Mr. Maignan could pick it up at the office there. Contacted Mr. Maignan through his work/business card phone… he drove mikes to pick up his wallet, the office refused to give it ti him?!?!?!

He’s tried calling and they are not allowing him to have his wallet back… he has no drivers license or credit cards now. This is disgraceful… Mr. Maignan clearly identified all that was in his wallet, looks exactly as his ID Photo.

Extremely sad, horrible service from this Megabus office!!!

Good day

I am here by to complain against a Megabus driver who drives Sibanye stuff from Lebanon Westonaria to Shaft 7 every morning. The bus time is 7 am. We normally arrive at no 7 by 7:18am to sign in for 7:30 am. The driver has a certain person that he will wait for even if its past 7. I personally asked the driver to leave one day as it was 7:05 am already because I knew if we left later than that I wasnt going to make it in time. The driver shouted at us. We let that one go. Last week on Wednesday the 24th of November the drive swore at me. It started when he asked if we are all in. No one answered as we do not know who is in or not. The bus is over 30 minutes late. I called customer service and was ready a script and told to call back in 10 minutes if the bus didn’t arrive and they’d investigate to find out the bus’ location. I called back and was told the same thing.

The bus tracker said there were no road issues, however, the expected time just keeps increasing but showing 6 minutes from whatever time it currently is. This is a service I PAID FOR.

On Wednesday, January 1, 2020, we were scheduled for a return trip from Chicago to Cleveland. Ready to board, we were told by our driver that because there are no loaders available, we had to load our baggage ourselves, which we really didn't mind doing. Once aboard, we were told about a 20 minute stop in Howe, Ind. and a later 10 minute stop in Toledo. Normally when we take this trip, we stop for at least 30 minutes in Indiana, which gives us enough time for restroom, hot meal, etc. Since we had left on schedule, we wondered why the Indiana stop was so short. He did not explain.

I purchased two tickets to depart White Marsh, Md for NYC on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 3:10pm with arrival time to NYC at 6:35pm. close to $200. The idea was to go to NYC and see a play and have a wonderful time.

Well none of that happened .

First of all, the bus was 30 minutes late arriving at White Marsh and subsequently another 20 minutes late before he pulled off. About 2 1/2 hours into the drive the bus driver suddenly pulls over and announces that he is waiting for his relief person to show up to continue the drive.

we were already super late. more time wasted!!! Myself and a friend had purchased $100 tickets to see the Tina Turner musical on Broadway. The show began at 8pm. by the time we got to the theatre we had missed half the show!!!!

I was trying to change my time from boston to nyc from 5Am in the morning to 1AM in the morning more than 24 hours ahead and I agreed with the charge fees and everything. But then, there was a technical problem and couldn’t finish my transactions.

They told me they would call me half an hour after and they didn’t. Just now, i called megabus again to change it and they r charging me extra for not calling 24 hours ahead. It’s not a difference from buying a new ticket and I will just buy a new ticket.

Can you please refund me the 2 tickets that I bought?

C. C at 3:30am.. I had 2 tickets and paid extra for the seats ,, seats 9 and 13 . the driver took atleast 30 minutes to tell us that we were stuck,.. he told us another Megabus will be at that destination within 3 hours ..

The check in guy for mega bus in Atlanta @ 2pm did not let my kids board and told them to get on the later bus for an extra fee. Mind you one is 19 and the twins are 14.

I don’t see the problem! They are coming to Memphis and has school Monday. This is not professional at all. He was very rude!!

I Rode Mega Bus on Saturday June, 15,2019 from Los Angeles, CA to Las Vegas, NV. I called your customer service on sunday or Monday and spoke with a woman when she told me basically she wouldn't take my complaint via phone and that I had to send it in online. This site is not found on you megabus.com page.

Anyway, I rode the bus and the air conditioning was broke. The driver tried adjusting the temp, but it didn't work. It was like riding in an oven on pre-heat and I was downstairs. sweating until my clothing was damp. I feel that I should be compensated for not having an enjoyable riding experience. My Account was charges 3 times and I keep getting email from Lexine, that I was not charged, despite the same proof attached here that was sent to her via e-mail. It is imperative that someone talk to me and address this issue before I filed a formal complaint to Dept of transportation. I am through with this run around. I had one trip to chicago from Indianapolis in April 2019 and my trip from Indianapolis initially was one way because I did not know exactly when I would return but I get charged $27.49 three times;; one on card ending 6781 on 4/18/19 and twice on card ending 1641. I appreciate MegaBus's email on April 23rd concerning the long delay and lack of backup in Baker, CA on the afternoon/evening of April 13-14.

I've been refunded the ticket purchase. This is not sufficient. Vehicles break down. That's understandable and acceptable--within reason and if follow-up is taken appropriately. But we were stranded by MegaBus. We kept being told that help was anywhere from 60-90 minutes away.

I had booked a trip from Atlanta to Philadelphia and for starters the bus leaving Atlanta was over a hour late then when we arrived to Washington which I was suppose to have a two hour layover we were late getting there and that bus left. We were put on another bus that was going to Philadelphia but one of the stops were in Baltimore we get to Baltimore only to be told we have to get off the bus cause it’s overbooked and have to wait on another bus!

That’s unacceptable I literally had to have some one come from Philadelphia my actual destination drive to Baltimore to pick us up I paid money and didn’t get my full service and the workers were very rude. Last night on 11/25/2018 I brought my daughter to her bus terminal located at the Albany SUNY College where she was to board her Megabus at approximately 07:30pm. I am her father and I have obtained a copy of her bus ticket information to provide proof. We arrived at the terminal on time at 07:15pm and right away had noticed a large group of passengers waiting for their Megabus only to find out they were supposed to be picked up one hour prior for the 06:45pm scheduled pickup and they had indicated to me that they were still waiting for their bus to arrive.

No one there was given any indication on their cell phones regarding any late or delays. What I noticed on a CDTA bus that was parked near the area where I and my daughter were waiting was a smashed upper right corner of the CDTA bus…

False advertising was rampant for my Megabus trip from Las Vegas to Phoenix. The bus was late. There were no electronic plug-ins. There was no WiFi. There were no seatbelts. This was a big concern since I had my 3 grandchildren ages 5,6,and 9 with me.

We were advised that yes there was a bathroom on the bus but were encouraged not to use it especially if we had to go #2 since the smell would spread throughout the cabin. I had called customer service since the time from Phoenix to Vegas was about 5 1/2 hours but the trip back was advertised to be 7 1/2 hours long.

My bus never showed! It was scheduled to arrive at 2:15 pm. I was there before that. Contacted customer service and was told that the bus was running late and should arrive 2:26 pm. Again, the bus never showed. Called customer service again and was told now that it would arrive 2:52 pm.

The bus did not show! Contacted Mega Bus customer service and was allegedly told that the bus departed at 2:24pm? I was refused a refund. I was lied to and lost all of my money.

This began on January 17, 2018 when the trip was canceled due to state of emergency. I then had to reschedule the trip for January 18,2018. On January 18, 2018thebus arrived almost an hour late. My concern is that the only compensation for this was a 100% cover for another ride within a year. That does not help as I do not use megabus often. This was a one time trip and a poor experience. I spoke to a supervisor by the name of Chantelle roughly around 9:35am today who advised that there was nothing more that she could do. I am seeking for full refund if possible to compensate for the inconvenience of this trip.

My trip #AGV7OYQ was canceled leaving from Columbia,South Carolina to Washington, DC. I went out to catch the bus but it never showed up until we called Megabus and spoke to Breanna, She was very rude, not compassionate and very disrespectful.

She told me that the trip had been canceled and I was notified via email. The problem is that it would have been courteous of Megabus to call shortly after I booked my ticket. And to get the worst customer service at 3:00.

How would she have felt if the shoes were on the other feet. You should train your reps to be courteous and should recommend that they provide resolutions to the problems instead of directing me to my email for my own resolution.

My son got left at a stop and couldn't retrieve his luggage. Customer service gave us so many diff responses everytime we called. I think it is unfair to lie to us and tell us they were going to dispatch driver and see if luggage was left behind today and they would call us back in a few hours.

I understand their lost and found policy so to tell us that they were actually going to dispatch driver and then they would have an answer in a few hours while we sit here and wait for a response and an answer we were not going to get today.

I writing this email to voice my concerns and displeasure about MEGABUS misleading/error website especially when it comes to making reservations for special needs/disabled passengers.

I called tonight 12/18/17 to MEGABUS customer service number 1-877-462-6342 after reviewing my credit card account. MEGABUS charged my account DOUBLE the cost for the trip of two disabled adults. I have used Megabus very often over the past few years and I had been very pleased with the service. I AM NOT PLEASED NOW. Today I received an email that Megabus cancelled my return bus trip from Pittsburgh on October 23rd.

I had purchased this ticket on July 21st. This has put me in a terrible position. I made a lot of plans around that departure time. I rented a car, and the car drop off location closes at 6:00pm (and so the alternative "later bus" is not a viable option; nor is the previous day bus because the car drop off location is not open on Sunday).

If I change to a Greyhound bus (leaving around the same time as the bus you cancelled) it will cost me $35 plus booking fees. 50 booking fee that I paid (they'll only refund the $10 cost of the ticket).

My daughter and her boyfriend caught the megabus from Des Moines, IA to Chicago and then from Chicago to Nashville, I haven't seen my daughter in 14 years. They were suppose to reach Nashville this morning (12/17/2016) at 10:10 a.m. I was informed that they were going to be delayed 6-9 hours due to a traffic accident. They were detoured and now they are stuck in Indianapolis and it is unclear as to when they will reach Nashville. I have already purchased their return ticket back home and now it seems pointless that either of them to have made the trip. He will get a refund but I was told I would not since it didn't purchase the tickets down to Nashville.

Spoke with 5 different Megabus operators in an attempt to change reservation. Information was misleading and conflicting. While speaking to the 5th operator I was then told that there were no seats available although empty seat numbers were mentioned previously in phone conversation.

Asked to speak with a manger and placed on hold at that time. After about a 2 minute wait, I was then told that there was no manager available and to call back in 30 minutes. Needless to say, when I called back in 30 minutes the office was closed.

We were forced to keep the same reservations and pretty much stranded for a day.

I paid for a trip from Indianapolis to Chicago at 2:35 am on September 10. But the bus didn't come at 2:35 am. I thought the bus was late. So I still waited there until 3:30 am. My children and I chose to ride the Megabus for our trip to Lexington Ky for thanksgiving, and had the very worst experience for our first time riding mega bus. It started off bad having to wait in the cold rain with my newborn baby and my other two small children because the bus arrived over thirty minutes late.

It was suppose to depart at 10:55 am and pulled up at 11:28 am and we didn't leave till 11:42. Then once leaving not even riding a good thirty minutes we stop for what was suppose to be a gas fill-up and wind up waiting there and being delayed for an hour because the Megabus driver said the gas card was declined several times.

My travel was from Oakland to Los Angeles and I chose Mega bus for this. Mega bus was very comfortable to travel in and I enjoyed the trip. The seats were comfortable and spacious. The bus was on time and the driver was alert throughout the journey making is a safe one.

The bus was kept clean and tidy and they had stopped for refreshment keeping passengers requirement in mind. My luggage was kept safely. The drive was smooth and I reached LA on time. Megabus is a good option if you want to travel by bus and enjoy a smooth drive.
