Six months ago, I purchased a car, and the salesman misled me about the Bluetooth and navigation hardware, suggesting a Y cord connection. Three months later, I discovered the car did have the hardware. The dealership demanded $2300 for a radio replacement, dismissing my concerns about broader sensor issues. The car lacks notifications for oil and tire status, and the dealer ignores these issues. At the six-month mark, I found oil and coolant leaks. The dealer falsely claimed my warranty didn't cover it, but upon contacting the warranty company, I learned it did. Now they insist I pay $7000 for damages, pushing me towards an $11,000 devalued trade-in and a new car with high monthly payments. This unethical practice is deeply troubling.

Moreover, the Consumer Fraud Act prohibits merchants,…

In last two years, my engine has leaked oil twice due to faulty seals. It has cost me thousands of dollars. They are lying and not acknowledging faulty seal issue. It’s costing American consumers lots of money, time and stress. Don’t buy Mini!

my car had been flooded and the motor needed to be replaced. I had my mini towed across the bay to the closer mini dealer which was the worst mistake of my life. it took almost 5 months for me to get my car back.

it took the dealership 3 months to replace the motor and when I picked it up it had and still has drivetrain Codes in it, transmission codes, a plug on top of the motor that is unplugged and I can't find where it connects to anything. c.

I ended up having to take it to a closer and much more reliable repair shop by my house to get as much as I could to complete the motor job they left undone. when I emailed the dealership they refused to send me any paper work on what all exactly they did to my car.

I wanted specific procedures and parts that were replaced, because I know for a…

An online advertisement by Mini Cooper depicts a polar bear putting its head out of the window of a white Mini Cooper. I object to this portrayal, because it conflates dogs and bears and in doing so, attempts to draw a parallel between the dog - a domestic breed - and the polar bear - an endangered wild species.

The attempted polar bear parallel to the dog is implicit due to the fact that the polar bear seems to access the breeze outside of the vehicle in much the same way that many dogs do when travelling with their owners in vehicles. To further the analogy, as the polar bear's cheeks are inflated by the oncoming breeze, the advertisers create an illusion that the polar bear holds a cow femur - or dog bone - in it's jaws.

That is sneaky advertisement, using a wild animal whose species…

On 6/30/2022, I signed a lease agreement with South Shore MINI, 1040 Hingham St, Rockland, MA 02370. In the agreement, I was quoted a $460-470/mo. lease with $460 due at sign-in, upon return of my 2019 MINI. On 10/27/2022, after a 119-days wait, I received an email from sales representative Luigi Lembo from South Shore MINI informing that the dealer manager “reviewed your deal recently and looks like values on used cars have dipped since June, especially for Convertible's.

” The email went on mentioning how now the dealer has “7 [convertibles] on the lot that are available”. This is my 8th leased vehicles and I have never experiences such an unethical behavior, with all dealers I dealt with always honoring the agreed-upon prices. ).

I have owned a Mini for over 35 years. I am in the process of restoring a 2007 convertible S and brought it to the MIni dealership in Greenville (Century BMW) on June 7th to correct a parasitic draw on the battery.

They identified the problem as the aftermarket radio that had been installed, recommended a stereo shop nearby to correct it and charged me a little over $1000. I made an appointment with the stereo shop and they pulled the radio and said it was not the cause of the draw and charged me $100 for the check.

Brought the Mini back to the Mini dealership to correct the issue. They kept the car until September 27th at which time they indicated it had been fixed, the culprit was the fuse box and they further confirmed that they did a post installation draw test and let it sit over a…

I purchased 2023 Mini Countryman around March, I received delivery at the end of August. Since August my NEW 2023 Mini has been in the shop 4 times as of today. From day 1 the issue began with the ECU and since then it's been down hill.

I want a new car. The warrantee for this vehicle is 50,000. miles or 4 years whatever comes first and after warrantee, if these issues continue I will be responsible for issues that started from day 1. Due to the inconvenience and the Lemon Law, I no longer want this vehicle.

Also, I do not believe these issues will be resolved. I expect an expeditious response or I will be calling Channel 7 News, New York "on your side" and a complaint will be filed with the BBB. I purchased the vehicle from Mini of Freeport, Freeport, NY.

My 2015 mini can do 120mph with its 134hp engine. It can also do 75mph using about 30hp.

You new EV offering uses a 181 hp engine and can go 97mph max. Appears to me your new vehicle is a giant step backwards with respect to energy conservation.

You got a life cycle cost comparison that compares EV to fossile fueled mini's? You can't do 75mph with 30hp anymore? Why?

My service was excellent as are the service reps at our dealership in Towson, MD. My complaint is that I own 2 warranties on my vehicle and I just needed to replace motor mounts. 54 which I believe should have been covered by my warranties.

I have the certified pre-owned and additionally paid to have the extended warranty. I love my mini and again the service is excellent, it is just that this feels like some kind of a manufacturers issue as we do not have a lot of mileage, or at least nothing extraordinary and

we take impeccable care of my car, so I would like some kind of consideration regarding this repair bill. My contact information is: Naomi Fabricant - cell: 443-690-9892 VIN # WMWLN9C55J2E51148

We bought a 2018 Mini in 2018 with 5,000 plus miles. To date, this vehicle has 16,000 plus mile. Thus far the vehicle was leaking oil in my driveway soon after purchase and during the repair I noticed that the positive battery terminal had been eaten off by mostly a rodent.

The timing cover was repaired by resealing the cover. 00. Now the dealer is saying that the wiring harness has rodent attacks damage. This vehicle was sold by one of your dealerships knowing that the vehicle had an oil leak at the minimum.

I’ve always dreamed about driving a MINI Cooper car and finally at 55yrs had an opportunity to lease one in Jan. 2020 that I’m still driving now. I’ve had FIVE flat tires in 2yrs. because of the flaw in the “low-profile” wheel/tire design.

Each replacement tire cost a little under $300 including installation and balancing. I also had to replace all brake-discs post-Covid because I was told “that all brake-discs on MINIS rusted during Covid because the cars are meant to be driven” If I had known that I would’ve driven my car daily!

I’ve driven all kinds of cars for the past 30yrs. but MINI Cooper is by far the most problematic and expensive car I’ve ever driven and I’m very disappointed with the experience and the lack of support and responsiveness by Customer Service which I believe,…

I had my mini Cooper towed too this dealership to complete some maintenance task from a cla from the vehicle being stolen. I discussed what all that need to be done with the service advisor Mike "Beat" Gardner ( I assume he's proud lacking in the customer service department based on his nickname).

Anyway Mike advised me that they had a full deck of cars ahead of me but assured me he would fit the vehicle in 24 hours later after being told there wasn't a "loaner car " available I decided I was going to have the vehicle towed to a service facility with a quicker turn around. After I advised Mike of this he advised me he would do everything in his power to get me in a loaner until my vehicle services were complete..

I paid off my Mini at the end of 2020 and want to get my car title. I went to the DMV to get a title for my car and they told me I would have to get a release of lien on BMW.

I showed the letter from the DMV to my Mini dealership, and a man from BMW financial came out and gave me a number to call to get that authorization. When I called the number, the customer service representative, Stacey, was the rudest person in the world to me, and I would be ashamed to employee such a person.

One rotten apple can spoil the whole barrel. I have turned so many people onto to Mini Cooper, but now I'm getting the runaround to obtain a title for a car I paid off early a year and a half ago. Do I promote Mini? Not right now...

My complaint is about your idiotic rear arrowhead tail-light design where the arrows POINT IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION as the turn one wants to indicate. In daytime, it's mostly just annoyingly stupid. But the REAL problem is what they look like they’re indicating after dark!

How can someone NOT be expected to assume the right-pointing arrowhead - on the left tail-light - is indicating a right turn in the dark, when one cannot always see the actual car? How many deaths-by-confusion will it take for you to do a recall and redesign??

I have received 5 reminders to check in for service for my 2019 mini convertible lease car. I leased it from Mini of Arlington, Tx. I setup an appt on 4/8/2022 by phone. I continued to receive , mail and phone call reminders.

I purchased the car 2 years ago at 59 k miles the car was a toy and I loved everything about it. Almost every little thing is going wrong. It would be one thing if the blown engine is the only thing that’s gone wrong with the car, but this thing needed multiple major components replaced.

It also needed a new high-pressure fuel pump, which was replaced under an extended warranty for that particular part because so many people had problems with it. It wasn’t just a blown engine, it was a pattern of unreliability resulting in (what would normally be) very expensive repairs.

The fact that the engine blew at 61k miles was just the punchline of the whole bad joke. Its all been a nightmare for me and my family. Since the pandemic used cars have gotten so expensive. now the engine is dead at 61k…

Need a footwell module replacement. The dealer says they need 2 days to diagnose and replace the part. they do not show timely maters when it comes to fixing this module. I even offered to pick it up myself and replace it and return the bad part.

I know its the footwell module due to lights not working after a complete battery replacement with registration of the battery. My front left blinker went out along with my rear brake light and backup light at the same time.

What seems to be the issue with These dealerships overcharging people for a simple electronic part. This is Mini of Fife in Washington state.

Purchased a 2009 chevy tahoe from the mini of Knoxville, TN dealership on 10/6/21. Vehicle started having major electrical issues within an hour of purchase and a burning smell. Contacted the dealership immediately after opening the following day and got an "oh really" response.

Took to my mechanic within 24 hours of purchase and discovered the vehicle had 16 alerts that had recently been cleared, a major oil leak and ball joint failure. I was assured that the vehicle had been thoroughly inspected and did not have any major issues wrong with it.

This vehicle was not safe to even drive off the lot. Now I'm stuck with a very hefty repair bill within hours of purchase. I would have not expected this from a large chain dealership, this is something a buy here pay here dealership would do.

Within a month of my daughter paying off her 2015 Mini Cooper, at 38,000 miles, she had to pay over $1,000 to replace the engine mounts. She also paid exhorbitant prices for spark plug replacment, wheel alignment, and was also dinged a $195 'Vehicle Check' that, with any other company, that fee would have been waived if a customer agrees to the service suggested.

I spoke with the service manager at the dealership and also 2 people at Mini Cooper Customer Service and they are unwilling to help in any way. I'm recommending to my daughter that she purchases a Toyota or Honda for her next car.

I have the problem with the engine symbol popping up. This has going on for a very long time, even when it was under warranty. I have taken it to the dealer several times to be fixed but it only last for a short period of time before the symbol appears again.

For quite some time, I’ve been asking the Mini Cooper dealer in Ontario, CA to run diagnostics on my 2009 Mini Cooper S in order to replace under extended warranty, the high pressure fuel pump. I was erroneously advised that my VIN number did not qualify.

It was finally admitted to me, by their general manager, Collin Benhan, that my vehicle does in fact qualify for replacement of the HPFP under the extended warranty of 10 years or 120k miles. My complaint is that I paid $168 in February 2019 to have my vehicle diagnosed for this and other repairs and they failed to run diagnostics for the HPFP at that time and

Dear Mini Cooper,

I have been a loyal Mini Cooper driver since 2006.

Recently my second Mini Cooper was declared totaled after I drove over some rocks at the beach. After 3 1/2 weeks of trying to repair the damaged oil tray and a few other parts, it was established that the engine was dead.

Being a loyal Mini Cooper driver, I opted for another Mini Cooper, tho many friends tried to talk me into a car that didn't sit so low on the ground. Background info -- though irrelevant to my complaint.

I ended up leasing a 2019 Mini Cooper, since there were few pre-certified ones available to my liking. I was told that they would lease me a car with a monthly payment similar to where I was - $236 per month -- to a new monthly rate of $239. That was fine with me. When I was given the usual PRESSURE…

On 5/28/19 I was involved in a vehicle accident the details are as follows: while stopped at a red light approximately 4-5 car lengths from the intersection as I took my foot off the break pedal the car reacted in a rather unusual manner. This is my second MINI. I bought the first one in 2003, having been on the waiting list and ordering it the way I wanted it and waited for 9 months for it to arrive. It proved a might small for a growing family so I opted to the 2009 Clubman.

This car was used, and had been in a serious wreck that was not acknowledged in the buying experience. It has over 80000 miles, but my feeling was that MINI made a very reliable and well-built car that would last a long time.

Over the next 4 years I put another 40000 miles on the car with only minor repairs, THE FREAKIN COILS over and over, and 3 sets of spark plugs! Oh yes, and it needed a thermostat housing when I bought it to the tune of $700!

On Wednesday, May 22nd, I purchased a 2014 Mercedes C300 from Mini of Alexandra at 5990 Duke Street, Alexandria VA. It seemed to be a great deal. The car had less than 25k miles and was reasonably priced. I worked with Matt who came across as a great salesman and seemed to be genuine.

He even mentioned they always sell great used vehicles because they want great reviews and returning customers. About 4 days after purchasing the vehicle (no warranty was included because they are not a certified Mercedes dealer), I took it to a certified Mercedes dealer who said that the car was in excellent condition overall but had a leak in the engine.

It is now 20 Oct 2017 and the service manager at Mini, can't tell me a time frame of when the car will even be looked at. I keep getting the run around as to how long the car will be ready to send over to Carmax.

Can someone from the corporate office please find out and let me know how can I deal with this issue. Thank you in advance.

I own a 2009 mini cooper s. I've been experiencing start up trouble and occasional surge while driving. I've read where this, along with these pumps dying while at highway speeds a very dangerous situation, is an issue with the cooper s models high pressure fuel pumps.

I understand that the warranty on these pumps have been extended to 120,000 miles or ten years. they recommend taking the vehicle to an authorized mini dealer asap so that possible warranty coverage may be verified. I went to my local mini dealership explaining of these same symptoms.

I presented them with a video of me starting my car several times before it would run. You would think i had a diesel engine under the hood. The dealer said that issue is carbon build up inside the engine and that I needed spark plugs.

I purchased the no longer made paceman based on the salespersons assurances that there could be a "computer chip" placed easily in the car as when I drove it I noticed it had not much pick up. I have since found out this can not be done. I spoke with the manager at Dublin Ohio Mini Mag who said he would research that and would find a way to help my car have some pick up so I don't get hit while trying to pass a car and can't do it because it won't move. I never heard back from him.

I have asked repeatedly at the dealership where I purchased it and they suggest that I trade it in for another of their cars, an "s" version. Why in the world would I want to buy another car from a dealership that has lied to me not once but on several occasions and does nothing about it. The car is a dog. It…
