NTB Tires

Put the wrong size tires on my car, swore they didn't. I'm looking at them. Very dismissive manager , acts like it's no big deal and now I have to take off work because they are an hour away. I had to be there for a function and thought I would kill two birds with one stone. Ha

I asked them to check my brakes because they were making grinding noise but they said they were fine. Well now I'm back because the grinding noise is super loud, and now I need a whole new braking system because I waiting so long.

Booked a 12:00 appointment yesterday for today and was told by Q to come back at 1:30 and he would call me. No call so I came back 2nd time waiting in line again til 2:00pm. Q should of pulled me out of line to put me first yo service me.

I got there about 8:40 she advised me that my appointment was at 8:00. I stated that I realize her tone was rude as if she did not want my business. Anyway she stated it would be a few hours because they were short handed.

She asked for the keys l advised I needed to grab something out of the truck. On the way back 2 of employees began to argue and shout some of the worst profanity that went on for several minutes until one of the sped off.

I went back in and gave her the keys. I dropped a gum rapper in a trash can that was behind me,she advised me in a harsh tone that it was not a trash can l stated that I didn't know so looked in the can and there was trash in.

At that point I didn't feel comfortable leaving my vehicle there. I asked for keys and left. I have delt with her in the past…

On 10-17-2023, I went to NTB Tires in Hyattsville MD for car service. I arrived in early morning before 9 AM. The service tech took down my concerning about the car. She ask if I was waiting or coming back.

she was very eagle to get rite of me. So, I finally said I would leave and return later. I notice she never took the ticket about my car back to the people working on the car. Other, people came in and was service quickly without an appointment.

I notice that there cars were being service and some cars were finish and people were leaving. I feel that I was denied service and would like to no what this company reasons. On Friday July 21 2023 I came to NTB Catonsville store in MD. I had a nail in my tire and it could not be fixed. I purchased all four of my tires from NTB plus the warranty. They had the tire at the Owings Mills store.

So I asked if the tire could be sent to the Catonsville store he said it couldn't because in 48 hours the store would be manged by a different company. And I had to go to the Owings Mills store myself.

So I did when I got there the cashier told me he couldn't look up any thing in the computer because of the company changing hands. He said he could only ring up customer but not look up any information.

Using NTB, I selected 4 Pirelli Scorpion STR-A tires and scheduled installation and wheel alignment. As you can imagine, this was still expensive in todays world. There was nothing at all wrong with my car, just wanted to replace the tires.

I then arrived at NTB on my scheduled time and day, the tires were installed but unfortunately the alignment tech was not available. So I had to reschedule for the following Monday to have the alignment completed. I also scheduled an oil change to be done on that next visit as well.

Was sent to the Brainerd Rd. branch in Chattanooga, Tn. by Michelin for a warranty claim. Even thought they weren't busy when the car was dropped off, it was there 3 hours before they even called Michelin even though they had already looked at the tire.

Neal was the person we were dealing with and Michelin had even called them yesterday. After 3 hours, we went and got the car and left with nothing being done and the people there not asking or saying anything about why we were leaving without a new tire.

Neal say my husband and did not offer to come say anything. In talking with Michelin, they could not believe it had taken so long to even get a call and they still were waiting on more information from NTB.

2023 for an an oil change and brake inspection. I was called two hours before my appointment and told it had to be canceled due to the fact the fact there were only two mechanics/technicians in the shop. I rescheduled for the following day and told that if I needed brakes they could be done at that time.

On Monday I went to appointment and had oil changed and I guess brakes inspected. The young lady at the front desk said that I had nothing on my pads, I wasn't told anything by a mechanic/technician. I had purchased tires from NTB a few months ago. I got a flat and made an appt online to get it fixed where we had them installed, NTB at 4600 Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington, DE. The appt was scheduled for Saturday, 2/11/23 at 4pm.

When my husband and I arrived at 3:50, we were told that there was a 3 and 1/2 hour wait and that the online booking on the NTB website was useless as they don’t follow it. What a waste of time and gas as this is not just right down the rod from us.

Once we pay off the promotional balance on my NTB credit card, the card will be cut up and going elsewhere.

I been going to NTB in Beltsville Maryland for over 20 years. 00. Then I made another appointment Febuary10, 2023 to replace the the brake pads and rotor's in the front. When I asked the young lady will cost the same amount as the rear, she immediately said yes.

Then I asked her, can I get a discount, she said I can give you 10% discount. 00 to have your brake pads and rotor's replaced in the front and back of your car. I get the impression that the young lady doesn't know anything about cars and pricing.

They need to add an option for NO STARS on these review/complaint forms. I went to NTB a couple of weeks ago to get a card and the manager told me to scan the barcode. After we did the transaction, I noticed it didn't give me a card number.

I went back for an oil change last week and tried to retrieve the number and found out it was a loan. Now I'm stuck with high ass interest rates when I have good credit to get a card. really.

I purchased a battery from NTB and my car would not hold a charge. After a mechanic looking at it and determining it was a bad battery, I took my receipt and went to NTB o have a new battery placed. It was under warranty. I reitereate it was under warranty. When I arrived I was told I had to pay for the labor to remove and install the battery. What part of that makes sense when the battery was under warrant and I had already paid for labor when the first one was installed.

A charge of 89.00 was required. Warranty means it is covered. Warranty means that I should not have to pay for something that was installed and did not work properly. If you classify that something is under warrant, it is covered! There should be no labor charge associated with something that is faulty.

On September 3rd, I took my vehicle to NTB Tire located in Houston for an oil change.

Horrible experience May 27 at NTB in Fairview Heights IL. Excessive repairs done to my Nissan, with one in which my A/C system was broken during the repair to a motor mount. Resulted in a refund credit when I returned with notations from a competing repair shop proving my case.

However, the customer service rep initially denied it until the repairman admitted the error. Not the first time there were attempts to do unnecessary repairs or inflate my bill. I'd strongly discourage anyone to patronize this shop. I've gotten my tires there for years, but now they have become increasingly shady at this location.

I had my vehicle serviced at NTB in Beaufort SC in 2021. The following was serviced: Replaced 4 Tires (new), new 4 brakes (front/rear), new front disc, new battery.

When i brought it to NTB in Fredericksburg (two different stores) for tire roation, was told they cant remove all wheel lug nuts.

I am shocked because the last time it was serviced is at NTB, so i ask how come becuase i had all tires replaced and brakes pads so they should have removed the wheels off.

Came in on 3/15 and made an appointment to have a nail removed from a tire at NTB on Brinker in Denton. Informed them it was an Enterprise Rental and I had already spoken to them. I was told it would only take 30 minutes.

My appointment was for 3/16 at 10am. I arrived before my scheduled time. I was informed it had not been approved by Enterprise because the gentleman that made my appointment hadn’t contacted them although he had been given the information.

I brought a recently purchased used car in for inspection.I was charged over $1500 for suspension work and oil change. I wasn't told about any other issues pertaining to the car. I brought the car back a couple weeks later when my daughter had questions about the RPMs too high when driving low speeds. I took the car back and they said they noticed some oil spillage but suspected an engine cleaning. I was not told this until the 2nd visit. The car's still had a light on pertaining to the wheels/alignment and suspension. Today, I took my car to Discount Kar Kare. I was called not even 15 minutes later about parts and leaks that needed repair. NTB never notified me about additional repairs even though they were supposed to have performed an alignment on the car as well.

Took vehicle in for simple oil change as had done before in the same store. This time they broke off the drain plug then proceeded to drill part of it out of the oil pan sending metal from the drilling into the oil pan.

They then tell me that it is going to cost me over $300 to repair their mistakes. Never do business with this company. They should step up and not only absorb the cost for dealing with their mistakes, they should give the basic oil change for free in compensation for my time and aggravation.

I have been waiting for a check from NTB for five months. They scratched my rims during an alignment. Although the amount was approved and a check was supposed to be mailed in September, it never was. Customer service is friendly, but they have never followed up with me. I have to babysit this process.

Took my 2014 BMW X1 to NTB in Bridgeport, WV for valve pan leaking. Drop my vehicle off on 11/26/21 and just picked it up on 12/8/21. Valve pan still leaking and they didn’t put half of my skid plate back on.

I purchased 4 215 60r16 95v rated tires from NTB on 3/21/21 and by this date, they have only been driven around 5,000 miles and they have already came off the beads (issue was “fixed” by NTB) and now they are starting to come off again and one tire even gave out completely and blew.

Made appointment on line. I'm always early. Sat in parking lot 35 minutes to be told my 8:30 appointment was not happening. Big waste of time. I won't be back ever.

I called to see if a certain size tire was available. A gentleman answered the phone and asked me to hold on. I was on hold for over 35 minutes. Enough time to drive from Nelson County VA to Lynchburg VA.

Truck was taken in to have tires replaced. When we went to restart the truck it would not start. A new starter had been put in the truck the day before and it had started with the starter at least 5 times.

We assumed it was a loose wire from the install and asked that they take a look at it for us and let us know. I left my phone number with the gentleman we spoke to since it was different than what they had on file.

He wrote it down on a piece of paper. When I did not hear from them for hours I called to be told that the starter was bad and they replaced it. We never asked that it be replaced and the starter was not bad.

I had an appointment at 12:30 on Saturday at the NTB for an oil change and tire rotation( 13000 block of IH 35 in Austin.) They finally took the vehicle into the shop at 2:10 PM. The explanation was that they were busy and they could not block off some times and that Corporate added additional appointments after they blocked some off> --Contradiction by staff.

Just prior to getting the vehicle back I was walking outside the bays. An employee asked how it was going. I told him lousy as I had now been there 3 hours for an oil change. His reply was that is what happened when you come on a busy day. I told him no and his response was BS. He told me i if I did not like it then I don't need to come back.

Paid for lifetime breaks and rotors in 2019. Took to shop on 7/22/21. Told lifetime was not on rotors. That was a mistake. Asked who installed rotors because they were wrong. Indicated you. Now claims calipers are bad and want to charge $370.
