I wanted to sign my second dog for training through Petco. I had my first dog trained there by a wonderful trainer. I waited and waited and then walked around the whole store looking for someone to help me. One employee was helping what looked like an injured kid? And the.

The only other employee I saw was the cashier who had. A long line of customers. I finally left without any information or contact with an employee.

She wanted us to reschedule for another groomer. I understand if she was nervous about cutting under the eye, but if she cannot perform requested services then she should not be the only groomer working at that time. Although she did say she had been there 8 months!

I can only take our dog on the weekends, and have NEVER been turned away. I cannot just bring the dog when 1 particular groomer is there if they don't work weekends. She did not even offer to bathe the dog!

I am a very disappointed customer ! "PETCO" will NO LONGER get any more of my families business. I was already uneasy upon entering PETCO today with NO familiar faces. Since my family and friends have been customers for years within the company across the US I will share my experience so they will not have a similar or even worse visit.

First off no one greeted my kids and I then the dude checking "KOBE" KEEP IN MIND HE IS A ( PAPILLON ) He was anything but pleasant to say the least . I spoke up and was like hello !?

In the bearded dragon Enclosures in the Gastonia, NC location, several things were VERY wrong. One: they were housing 3 bearded dragons together. Two of which were much bigger than the third. This is NOT good to house bearded dragons that are not babies, especially not two juveniles with one BABY beardie.

Two: the baby beardie was obviously hurt and holding his broken leg up. It is obvious that the bigger beardies were attacking the baby. I should not have to explain why that is not good at all. Three: the enclouser they were in were filthy and riddled with feces everywhere.

It looked as if the tank had not been cleaned in about a week. Bearded dragons need a clean holding tank to stay healthy. So far petco has shown me that they do not care if their bearded dragons are hurt or unhealthy…

After spending thousands of dollars annually at this location . it was so inconvenient for him to ring up our purchase, another mean female clerk took over and made us wait till she checked out 6 people lined up behind us, We spent an extra half an hour waiting for something that took 2 minutes to retrieve from the storeroom....

in other words if you have a big purchase or a full basket of items they will put you last, this is horrible and improper customer service not to mention the mean attitude and the anger, I have never seen such unhappy mean employees, You observe the condition of the restroom , the attitude at the employee's and the complete lack of respect for their customers and

Good morning. I ordered a 25 lb. bag of Merrick Buffalo/ Sweet Potato on Wed. July 11 and this still has not been delivered. Why does this take so long as I can order the same product, almost identical price, from Chewy and get next day delivery.

If you can check, you will see that I spend quite a bit at my local Petco In White Marsh. Unfortunately I was recently in an auto. accident and cannot do any lifting. This is why I ordered the product. Rest assured, never again.

today July 9, 2018 at approximately 12 pm. I'm at Pet Co. today to pick up food and supplies for our 3 foster kitties from the shelter. I am waiting in the aisle while a nice male sales associate is doing a price check on a unpriced item for me. ".

This is a complaint regarding one of Petco's employees at the Spring Hill, Florida store. Address: 7223 Coastal Blvd, Brooksville, FL 34613 As I walking into Petco today (Saturday July 7th) an employee was standing outside trying to sell something.

She said hello and I said hello in response. When she tried to go into her speech on whatever she was selling, I said "No, thank you" and tried to continue to walk into the store. She followed after me yelling "I'm talking here. Hey, you!

" I walked inside and complained to a manager, who seemed very disinterested. I do not appreciate being yelled at and disrespected as I'm trying to enter the store. If this is how Petco employees are going to treat their clients I will never shop here again.

I've been a Petco PALS cardholder for many years. I recently got an offer from you on my cell phone for 30% off grooming. I went to your store at 980 Torringford St, Torrington, CT, to have my dog groomed. When it came time for me to pay, the 30% off offer showed up on my cell phone, but because I had no internet service in your store, the actual coupon didn't. I asked the cashier to call the manager, who I later found out was named Ashly. Ashly told me that without the numbers on the coupon, she can't give me the discount.Am I to believe that your store manager, Ashly, has no discretion or authority in these matters? I've been going to Petco in Calif. for approx. 13 yrs. with no complaints, but since I"ve moved to Kansas, I have many.

First the Petco on Rock rd in Wichita, Ks has a turn over in grooming like no other. I've gone 1 yr & have had to get a new groomer 4 times. That's awful & it's hard on my dog seeing someone new each time.

I don't know why the turn over, but it's sad. Today was the 4th groomer in less than a year & she was awful!! She seemed friendly enough, but her work was horrible & my vet said I needed to take my dog back, but I couldn't put her through it again.

My name is Chris Herbert. I frequent this Clifton new jersey petco and spend a lot there. I went today and they were busy in fish so I waited. I asked ho much the irredescent sharks were because I did not see a tag.

Was buying 4 boxes of k9 advantage treatment for fleas. Lady at front register could not find keys, I then ask for a manager and she was one. I find it hard to believe nobody had a spare key for the only cabinet where flea meds were locked.

She did not offer any thing else. Then several other items we bought we had to carry out since they had no bags either. I will not be back at all.

One particular staff a the PETCO in Richmond, VA (Parham Road) was crossing boundaries in his questioning and denying a customer service.

Last Sunday, I went into Petco on Parham Road to purchase a fish with my young children. The manager (as he claimed to be) proceeded to ask way too many probing questions about our home and the care that we would be giving our new fish. His questions and sharing of fish care was helpful at first glance, until he told us that we would not be able to purchase a fish. We have had freshwater fish & goldfish for years and have an adequate tank (55 gallon with filters, lights, etc.). One of the petco worker (Isis), said she would not recommend me a chinchilla at all and would rather interest me in a tiny hamster. I’m a little confused why she wouldn’t recommend me the chinchilla when I said I understood the procedures of a chinchilla.

My online orders were incorrect and I have anothher $26 order on top of my $96 order. Although, I finally got someone to understand and get it fixed after a few phone calls, my complaint is that it took that long for someone to understand.

Each time I call I get someone with a heavy accent. The accent isn't an issue. It's their ability to understand and care. Hire people who understand our culture and care for a higher level of customer service.

Petco does not supply the most common items given the size of the store. I was looking for small bag of fresh step non-clumping litter which you never carry in your College Point, NY location. In fact the only litter available is all clumping which I do not prefer.

In addition I was looking for a small bag of Purina dry cat food. Only pro plan was available brand. Another time I went to buy a bird protector and was told to purchase on line. There are very limited Friskies canned food.

I don’t understand this store. It is a huge store that carries very little variety of simple items. Very frustrated consumer .

went in today to speak to the dog trainer about the Dog training for my pup All the registers were full and there was more than ten people in line behind me. The cashier called for her but waited almost 25 minutes until she finally came up and answered my questions Although it was hard to tell she was an employee since she was t wearing any kind of uniform. heard someone ask her to help finish with the line and she very rudely said no infront of everyone. My daughter received a parakeet with cage and accessories as a Christmas gift from her aunt, within a few days the bird died, we took it back and received another parakeet and again within a few days the bird died. We got books on parakeets PRIOR to her aunt purchasing her one, and we did all that we were told to do, and not do.

NINE working days. This has been the trend for as I mentioned over four months so we canceled three repeat deliveries for different products and split them up with Pet Flow and Chewy. We have repeat deliveries with Chewy for over 2 years now and every two weeks our order is on-time and on-schedule, no fail; TWO business days, ALL THE TIME.

Pet Flow has advised us that they are as well 2 days and since we are new to trying them out they asked to let them know if something goes wrong but we should be just as happy with them as we are with Chewy. On September 21, 2017, we took our Labradoodle to Petco for grooming - Store #596, 1000 West Valley Parkway, in Escondido, CA. The store was beginning a remodel. About 2-3 weeks after grooming, our dog started feeling ill and bleeding from his urinary tract.

We took him to the vet. He was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and an anal gland abscess. After $1,000 vet bill, he got slightly better with antibiotics, then felt ill again, bled more from his penis. Back to the vet to learn he suffered from an abscess in his prostrate this time.

After another nearly $2,000 vet bill, we are headed back Tuesday for another ultrasound, and another $1,000 vet bill. The vet thinks that the bacterial infection was caused by poor hygiene and cleaning methods employed by Petco during grooming. The…

Twice the Grooming Manager at the Dickson, TN store has groomed my dog. The first time it looked like a child did it. I had to use my clippers to do it myself after paying $70+ to have it done professionally.

Friday 12-1 she groomed him again. His ears were still oily from ear drops I had given him, his paws were still dirty. I couldn't tell his face had been trimmed,ears, belly, legs and paws/ pads had not been touched.

I pad $75 for nothing. What happened to the groomers that we're there???? I have taken my dog there for grooming since the Dickson store opened. I won't be back!

I bought a kennel that was worth $160 because I needed one that day. I bought another online at petco for a cheaper price to return the $160 later. I went 1 day after the 60 day policy. ONE DAY.

I’m a masters student working on my thesis and 2 different jobs. I did not have time to go. Aaron a worker at petco said your return policy was 30 days. Aaron obviously doesn’t know the policy or needs to be retrained.

Additionally, the fact that it was one day i was late and I still bought another kennel from your company is completely rude and terrible customer service.

We have been taking our dogs to Petco for grooming for the past several years. I called on a Tuesday evening, 9/5/2017, to make an apt, a gentleman took my name as he said the grooming closed at 6, although the store dn close till 9 pm.

the next day a lady called from the grooming salon. she was rude from the outset. she indicated that she needed to let me know that to take my dogs there, it was going to be $15 more per dog because I had been undercharged.

I told her we'd been paying the same amount for years. she stated well, then, I'd been getting a real good deal and this was district wide, that they had been undercharging. This also reported to customer service phone number. / 30 pound box left in front of my door, and was rather hard to get door opened. DO NOT BLOCK PEOPLES DOORS, IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY, requiring fast exit where there is only 1 door.

I am 79 years old. Such delivery practices should be reported to the fire dept----as had been an ex-fireman, doors may not be blocked , basically.

Also the lady did not knock, to at least notify that way, that the door should be checked/answered. Usually, Fed-Ex, UPS, & USPS knock. This was delivered in a private unmarked white car, probably Lasership. That would not have helped either.

Hi I went in PETCO to get a bettas fish for my birthday. I asked an employee to help me get the best heater and whatever else she insisted I didn't need a heater or to waste money on anything else.

I also live a hour and half one way from PETCO so running back isn't so easy and yes I did need a heater and the dramatic heat change made my fish stressed and sick, every time I called PETCO and asked them what is happening with this fish I was treated rudely and even herd the employees talking to eachother rudely about me,told I would get call backs and didn't.

I would just like to say that I tried to buy dog food today at petco and needless to say the food that I needed was in aisle where there was a long line wrapped around. Do you how hard it is to try to get to something when you have your pet with you and the aisles are so narrow and then you have a line to get through.

Not sure what was going on but the people in line were rude so I left and went to pet smart where the store is much bigger. Pet smart had something going on to but there they had the line out of the way that you were able to get to what you needed.

Never again will I go back to petco and this was one reason why I stopped going there

On 12/9/16 I went to your Hillsboro Oregon store to buy chicken halo can dog food. They only had 2 cans. One looked old so I looked at the date. It was 1 1/2 years past date. Took it to the manager and she gave sob story and she was tearing part of the label off.

Today 12/10/16 I went back to she if they had more. Only one can was there and it was the old can from last night. I took to manager and told her I gave it to a manager last night and I just found it on the shelf.

Came in to buy my usual bag of dog food and noticed the line was going all around to the animals. The cashier was telling the other cashier to go to lunch which I found rude because I was already waiting 5 minutes.

The other cashier refused and stayed to help the line. She called for more back up but nobody responded. A older man cut the hole line demanding for a bird so the other cashier called again and still no help.

Finally someone came to the front who I think is one of the managers snapped at the cashier about customer service which I find completely uncalled for concidering she called twice. I understand it's the holidays but I'm a snowbird and Palm Springs should staff more during this time instead of yelling at their staff.

I've been a Petco customer for years. And the service is wonderful as so the employees. But come the holidays I feel it's rude and it makes people feel uneasy is that when your checking out with your items the cashier ask if you would like to make a donation.

It puts people on the spot in front of strangers standing in line and you feel pressured into making a donation. There are people out there that can't afford to hand out an extra two dollars every time they check out.

And they feel there being judged by others if they don't give. A cardboard sign at the checkout will be just fine, please quit putting your customers on the spot ! People like to give what they can, and when they can.

I was recently visiting your Bakersfield Petco on Saturday 11-13-2016. This was the Rosdale highway branch next to best buy. My young 13 year old son was looking at fish and one of the employees named JOHN came up to him and rudely told him " SIR don't tap on the glass!" He was loud and rude. I told the employee not to call him sir as he is only 13 years old, he also did not say please. Other customers watched surprised how rude the employee was. I am filing this complaint because of what was just witnessed in the Wheeling petco in wheeling West Virginia. I was just recently in the store browsing around the store when i realized that there was a hamster that was in very bad condition.

His eyes clogged shut with puss and his foot was swollen and he was clearly walking with a limp. I am very disappointed by the lack and care for the animal. He was in desperate need for help that the store refused to give him.

Someone needs to take a class on how to pack merchandise correctly. I had six cases of canned food sent to me in one box that could not take the weight. It should have been either sent to me in two (2) boxes or a much stronger box.

It was so bad, cans of food littered the box and a big rip down the side that someone tried to tape up. Even the UPS man was in shock. Luckily no cans fell out during transit.

Cashier rolled eyes after I asked for help. once help arrived the lady was very rude, very short and vague when answering questions asked to buy anemone and said she couldn't give me the one I wanted because it was attached to a rock.

I asked if I could buy the rock it was on with it, and was told it would be extra $20, I asked to speak with manager about a possibly getting a discount on the rock since I didn't want it to begin with. says no manager can help me there.

Employee was extremely rude. She was speaking to me and my husband like we were stupid and kept refusing to sell us a gerbil because she thought we weren't going to take care of him. Very unprofessional. The only thing she was worried about was us returning it so she didn't "have to keep it in the back".

After arguing with her, she dragged her feet around like she was mad about it and finally grabbed our pet. Her name was Dani from beaumont petco.

I went in to shop for an outfit for my dog. I went to the section which also had toys and other items and they had it blocked off training two dogs with a family. I attempted to move the barrier to shop and grab my item and I got yelled at by the employee saying I can not be in the area because she was training.

I waited about 8 minutes and she was still not done so I left. They had lost a customer and a purchase tonight.

Kevin at the Midrivers, st Charles, MO location is a rude, inexperienced shift lead. Made my daughter cry. Was too busy socializing w co workers to assist in the issue. Really? Pets help people cope w life and he just said, "you killed it".

We will no longer shop there.
