I am one of thousands who are being extorted, for lack of a better term, to renew my Quicken subscription with an ad attached to my Quicken register.. The reason why I did not renew my subscription is the Quicken has informed me that they will no longer provide updates or technical support for the IOS version I have on my Mac.
Therefore, I did not renew. If you call customer service, they are programmed robots (actually people) who will repeatedly tell you that it is up to you whether you renew or not. That ad will only disappear if you renew.
That is their party line and that is what they are programmed to say no matter what your response is. What a load of bull!
