I had two drains that were clogged. One was my laundry room floor drain and the other was my upstairs bathroom sink. Note, I had spent over $10,000 dollars on a bathroom remodel. The first gentlemen who came out fixed the laundry room floor drain but could not fix the upstairs bathroom sink drain and furthermore 1) broke my Kohler sink stopper mechanism, 2) scratched up my sink basin 3) left a leak underneath the sink basin which then

Roto Rooter is the worst. My rental house got flooded in September 2022 and foolishly I went with Roto Rooter. My wife and I requested to see footage of the underground camera they used. They only showed a small portion of what was found. A faulty sewer pipe.

I paid over $14,000 for labor including the pipe. The abatement and restoration was way overcharged. My insurance adjuster told us a third party was charging us for the restoration which I'd not standard practice

The agent from Roto Rooter came to my house and assessed the damage. His name was Floyd Tompkins. I provided him with the insurance policy and he advised that all of the work would be covered by insurance. The only part that wouldn't be covered was the cost to snake the line which was roughly $687. Since he advised the rest would be covered by insurance, I proceeded to use his services as he advised he would take care of it with the insurance company. The completes the remaining work which is restoration of the sewage that seeped into the front yard and basement.

On the 3rd paid visit to OU home we requested and paid for a scope be performed and requested a video of the scope. The techs videotaped the scope and said they would email the video that day. The next day I called and notified Roto Rooter that we had not received video.

They told me the IT person was working on it. The next day I called and notified them I had not received it. I was again promised it would be sent. The next day a “manager” called and said it would be sent to me within the hour.

I never received a the video. At the time we were trying to close on the sale of our house. Too late now. 00 3/10/2030.

I had a slow drain issue, and a Roto-Rooter tech came out on a service call. We talked about the issue and what he could do. I have no house clean out so he said he would have to pull a toilet.

I asked him if he uses a cutter to clean the clog and he indicated yes, and his supervisor would be out later to video the line. After pulling both toilets and just snaking the line his supervisor showed up.

After several attempts to get the camera down the toilet piping, I was told there was too much scale to send the camera any further. Long story short, the two toilets were pulled, the tech snaked the main and no video of the main was taken.

If I could I would make this 0 stars. Two weeks a service tech backed into my tree canopy and when he realized it, he pulled forward breaking off my tree at the base. I have spent 2 weeks trying to get an answer from someone about taking care of the tree that they left there and replacing it.

I have gotten the run around from everyone until today. I was told that the owner didn't want to deal with me and to refund the money for my sewer fixing, and good luck to me on finding another company that will help me when I need it done again.

This was passed onto me by a woman at the Cedar Rapids office, who tried to look for a tree for me, but at this point I was already upset and said I wanted the refund. She was nice in the beginning, however she was not today.

On October 4th techs came to clean 2 lines. When they said they were done & my lines were cleared I believed him so I paid him $781 & signed the signature line on his tablet. I didn’t see that I was signing saying that I was satisfied that my lines were all cleared.

Only gave me box to sign. I was trying to check if my washer would drain before they left. It wouldn’t. He said it was my washer. I knew it wasn’t. They came again on the 6th& said they were getting some stuff to clear but couldn’t clear it all & when his jet was back from repair shop I could pay him another $300/hr to try that.

the above invoice number was issued 10/04/2022... has few issues: 1- the bill was added wrong by $70.00...once i know this i called couple of weeks ago...and was told that within 24 hours I would receive a call and to date no contact of me...

We called to get our sewage drain cleaned (as every homeowner is advised to do every couple of years) and upon showing up the first thing that the tech did was to say that our line was ballooning and

We had a technician come out to clear a drain on Thursday, Sep 1, he came out and spent about an hour and ran a regular snake through the pipe, told us that it might have to be ran from the top of the house down to clear the clog he left and charged $160.

I called another company on Friday they came out tried to snake it with a regular snake for about 10-15 minutes and then they used an air snake which I was unaware of until they pulled it on out cranked it up to 40 psi hit the trigger cleared the clog right away. I was just concerned about the charge for the 160 because they did nothing, now I did sign the contract.

I've owned my house for 3 years, my first house. I dreamed of it my whole life. I worked hard, built a good credit score, and was finally able to get it! This last weekend our sewer backed up. Sewage started coming out of the bathtub and didn't stop and I couldn't stop it.

For 6hrs the water came up over the top of the tub and onto the floor. Roughly 2 1/2 inches of water stood on the bathroom floor for 6 hrs on a Sunday while I waited for my home warranty company to find a plumber.

On may 10 2022 i called this location, the company dispatched Jordan Budway to my home. I advised him that all drains were plastic, he said the solution was to DIG and replace a section of 3 to 4 feet with plastic pipe.

I ASKED him SEVERAL times to snake or auger the main drain to clear the clog. he said that might cause more damage to the pipe and refused to do so, INSISTING that digging was the solution. I felt he was UNTRUSTWORTHY and said I would get a second opinion.

I had hired Roto-Rooter for unclogging sewer. The technician suggested cleaning with water jet machine which cost over $1800 with tax. I had agreed, however it did not solve the problem. It is still unclog. Then the technician snaked the camera and saw a breakage in the pipe.

He contacted his boss that the pipe need to be change, which we did for over $12,000 for the service. A couple of days later the problem still not solved. Then the tech snake the camara and found another breakage which cost over $5,000.

About a week later another $3500 to fix another broken pipe. In total I spent over $20,000 fixing the pipes and it is still not clearing out. I don’t know what to do and how much money I need to spend.

Raleigh area. A plumber came out to check a sewage backup. He charged me 600 dollars to diagnose. Then he told me I needed a new backup valve and he would have to go through concrete to get there. The estimate was 4900 dollars.

I called another plumber when the backup occurred again. They charged me 225 dollars to diagnose and fix the problem. He said even if I needed a new valve there would be no need to cut through concrete. He showed me what he found in the camera and the opening that would be used if I needed a new valve which I don’t.

Your plumber showed me nothing. I was lied to and will never use your company again not to mention I paid 600 dollars for nothing.

The kitchen sink faucet and shutoff valves in my rental apartment need replacement.

First plumber (cell#667-701-5698) came with estimated $750 (it is already overpriced since it is just less than one hour job with about $100 parts). Although we agreed on the price but the plumber cannot do the job since the building water supply need shutoff in order to replace the shut off valves in the sink cabinet.

Finally the building decided to have water shut off on 8/10/21 (9am-2pm) and I called Roto-Rooter to schedule a repair time on 8/10/21 from 10am to 12pm and expected to pay $750. Got a new sewer line in Nixa Missouri at 308 N. Missouri Avenue. I paid the bill, have a 5 year warranty that I can't use. Springfield roto rooter at finish up backfilling, destroyed my neighbors yard. They also buried manhole covers under 12" soil.

My housing on water main got broken during the work and they reported it to me and the city who had to stop water leak after they hit it digging. They sent someone who was never here to replace it.

Had Roto-Rooter out last Thursday to unclog a main drain to my kitchen and bathroom and they came out and snaked out the drain and it was working fine $244 later. The technician convinced my husband that it was to our best interest to have the pipe "jetted out" for an additional $191 the next day.

Never once did he say that there was any risk of damage to our pipes if we had this done. When he came out to "jet" the pipe, the equipment that he was using got stuck in our pipes. He proceeded to tell us that we would need to "pay" for them to dig up our yard to get their equipment out.

On 10-9 we had a back up. Called Lakeland FL, they were prompt getting there. They ran camera spotted a clog cleared. On 10-20 happened again, came out next day ran camera said we had a belly pipe, as I understand is uncommon for PVC but can happen.

Called a new plumber for an estimate to dig up slab if necessary. They of course ran a camera first. There are 2 baths and washer running to wye. Apparently the Roto guy only ran through the same side each time which showed clear.

When new plumber ran them ALL he found a clog in the other side. So, we paid them to clear the clog. It cost us $450 to Roto and $250 for the other plumber (Stuart Plumbing, Lakeland Fl) to clear the line and they have uploaded the video so I can clearly see the wad of paper.

However I have been trying to contact my mortgage company and they always give me the run around. Now mikey fiorio says he is calling a lawyer Monday to put a lean on my house. Roto rooter said the mortgage company sent out a check which we never received.

One mikey florio made a wise crack that I was out shopping meaning I spent money on the check which I never received. I was told it was never was cashed and they no it has not been. It is not my fault my mortgage company is incompetent.

I have called Chase Bank and stopped payment. (INVOICE No. 203712 - $94.99 / 8/13/2018) after speaking with other plumbers. Apparently my request was entered too late and I have a $94.99 existing charge on my account. SO HERE I AM EXPECTING – AND DESERVE – A REFUND.

Our basement flooded from roots in sewer pipe. Worker said roots from Redwood 9ft from our sewer line on our property. Then came multiple root clogs, flooding, root augers, clean out installed. then root clog so bad rotorooter excavated my driveway and replace damaged pipe.

after informing neighbors they called local rotorooter multiple times a day. They were then SENT A LETTER STATING WORK DONE WAS BECAUSE OF BAD PIPE. I forgot to mention camera ran multiple times. Told had years and years left in pipe.

A Roto-Rooter plumber broke a pipe trying to rod a sewer line on Saturday night. 5 hours of work. He was not licensed, at my home until 9 PM Saturday night and confirmed with dispatch there would be a licensed plumber between 8 am and 10 am Sunday.

I had an issue with the drain connection of my kitchen for more than a week. We then contacted Roto-Rooter and they did the best job. The plumbers came in on time and fixed the issue. That is not all, they gave a 6 month fix to the problem and ensured that nothing would go wrong before that for sure.

Roto-Rooter ensures that their people come on time and fix the issue and complete the task in a neat manner. Good job by these guys. I think one can call them in future as well. I liked the fact that they cleaned the entire place after the work and kept it very neat without troubling me.
