I tried reaching out to SeatGeek's customer support chat. I eventually chatted with a representative named Laura. She was not explaining anything. She was only COPY and PASTING things I already read from the website. It was really annoying and unhelpful.
I called her out on it and she did it again when I asked if she could explain why I couldn't just get a refund for tickets rather than a promo code. It was frustrating. I finally just had to said okay and ask another question.
She actually answered that one without copying and pasting anything, surprisingly. I would also like to point out that SeatGeek will NOT do refund for a order and will ONLY give you a credit for a future order that is only valid for a year from the date of the refund.
