I tried reaching out to SeatGeek's customer support chat. I eventually chatted with a representative named Laura. She was not explaining anything. She was only COPY and PASTING things I already read from the website. It was really annoying and unhelpful.

I called her out on it and she did it again when I asked if she could explain why I couldn't just get a refund for tickets rather than a promo code. It was frustrating. I finally just had to said okay and ask another question.

She actually answered that one without copying and pasting anything, surprisingly. I would also like to point out that SeatGeek will NOT do refund for a order and will ONLY give you a credit for a future order that is only valid for a year from the date of the refund.

So you will be out of money REGARDLESS when…

I ordered 2 tickets to Celtics & 76ers for April 4/2023 on March 13. Everything went thru and my friend who I gifted with the tickets got an email saying the seller would contact him. Never did. On 4/3/23 I ordered again and it went thru on my credit card and then said pending.

My friend called again and said my credit card had my name and the account had his name. So apparently you cannot gift somebody. So I transferred to his bank and he used his card and it went to pending.

He called again and they said there was a problem with his card. He called his bank and there was no problem. So today, the day of the game, his money is back in his account, he calls and SeatGeek said the tickets are gone.

He decided to go elsewhere. I think the sellers are just scalpers, I will not go thru…

All the negative reports about Seat Geek are correct!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CRIMINAL SEAT GEEK. I am currently trying to report them to the police. Unfortunately, I haven't found anyone authority that controls/oversees this criminal operation. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SEAT GEEK!!!!!!!!

They use stolen cards to purchase tickets. Phone number doesn't work. Only can contact them though email. I will be calling the BBB in Washington State.

I purchased two tickets to a music festival in October 2022, only one of the tickets I paid for worked at the security gate. I have been in contact with two separate seatgeek customer service representatives, which I had to scour the internet to find that contact at all, who have now stopped responding to me after a full month of back and forth.

One offered a 100% and then 120% promo code after I brought up their own company’s statement about 120% refund guarantee. I told them any promo code was unacceptable and I wanted my money refunded to me and now both of my contacts to seatgeek have gone silent.

I purchased 2 tickets last November for A&M game. My nephew decided last minute he wanted to go so I cancelled the 2 tickets and found 3 tickets. The money from the 2 tickets was put into my Seatgeek acct to use for future tickets.

Not sure why they couldn't just put it back on the credit card I used. This was the first time using Seatgeek so I forgot that money was in my acct until I was looking for Spurs tickets and noticed I still had $498 to use.

I've been trying to find a game that my boys and nephews can all go to together but between sports, school, work etc.. it took me a little bit to find a game that was good for all of them but when I went to purchase the tickets I noticed the $498 was no longer in my acct.

Apparently after a year you lose that money which I was not aware of.…

This isn’t about customer service, but it’s about how Seat Geek operates as a whole.

I was hoping to purchase four tickets for tonight’s Cavs vs Trailblazers game tonight and Seat Geek told me there were four available tickets in the upper section however, apparently the discount is no good for four. I was hoping to go with my family so I’m a bit disappointed that the discount doesn’t work for more than two. Tickets are getting expensive and being a college student means being on a budget. I think if there are four seats available then I should be able to use my discount.

Purchased tickets to Hamilton Detroit on 10/19 for 11/20 8:00 pm show. Tickets confirmed with email from seat geek a couple days after purchasing. Made travel arrangements(Flight, rental and hotel) to be in Detroit to celebrate Mothers 70th at Hamilton.

Sadly 24 hours before event no tickets reached out to customer service. Received an email stating the seller sold my original seats but offered a replacement. I accepted the replacement tickets. Received an email from Seat Geek stating tickets guaranteed prior to start of event.

After about 30 mins with no tickets still I called again only to be told those replacements were no longer available, waited for the agent to return my call when it was escalated to hire management. No call returned even though I was told someone will call me.…

I lost my credit card when I was on vacation. I notified my bank and geek seat.. I talked fo a Representative that, I would receive a refund after the event. I went online and ordered a one ticket for me.

I used Affirm to buy my ticket. 00 back on my bank statement. Seatgeek will not help me. They told me to call the bank. I will never use them again. Customer service is incompetent.

I purchased tickets for a concert 2-1/2 months in advance and specifically picked out seats based on where I wanted to sit. The day before the concert Seat Geek transfers my tickets to me and they’re not in the same section or even the area where I requested. I paid thousands of dollars for these tickets and I want some type of compensation for this disaster.

I contacted customer service through chat, to inquire about some info and potentially listing tickets. I don't know if this guy couldn't understand English or what but he wasn't even asking my questions and would give me an off the wall reply, multiple times I asked to be reconnected with someone else and he just keep up with messages like he was drunk.

When I told him I will be filing a complaint on him instead of trying to help or at least apologize for not being able to he disconnects me from that chat but made sure to tell me go ahead and contact my boss, William Montenegro needs to change jobs

I bought a parking pass which didn’t work. It wouldn’t open. We paid to cash park and walk.

Finally got customer service and she had same issue. They won’t refund my $ unless I provide a receipt for the cash parking. I explained that I didn’t get a ticket and that’s really irrelevant. Still nothing. Now they aren’t responding at all.

20 from Seat Geek and I redeemed these tickets and attended the game with these tickets. The website kept having issues that day, and kept giving error messages. 60. I immediately contacted Seat Geek and spoke to someone in customer support within minutes of the "unauthorized" tickets being processed on my account and my bank charged, and they were supposed to be canceled/voided and my bank was not supposed to be charged, and I was charged anyway.

Seat Geek Website somehow forced purchase of these tickets during the website glitches, I did not click purchase, and I did not redeem these tickets nor did I use these tickets, they are now trying to fraud me out of $600 because of the Seat Geek website technical issues.

Purchased tickets for double the price, the tickets went down in price by half at the day of the game. Called the customer service and asked for a refund or a price match with zero help. It’s just frustrating that they don’t work with you and you end up paying double the price for same tickets.

Bought 3 tics to Frankie Valle concert for October 7, 2021. Arrives at venue to sign that concert postponed. Tried to contact company to show rescheduled tics in order to sell or for a refund as unable to attend new date.

LFor over 2 1/2 months I have send over 6 emails, called 10 times and on hold for over 1 hour. Eventually talked to two separate agents who assured me that the tics would be changed on site to enable me to resell and that a supervisor would call me about refund.

NONE of this has occurred. I have missed reselling the tics for over 2 months and they are still not resisted nor have I ever received any return emails or calls. Very shoddy company after they have your money.

Ordered a ticket, but never managed to download it as it is nowhere to be found. Very untransparant process, customer service not to be reached by phone and it takes a day to come up with a stupid reaction that doesn’t work after you e mail them. I ended up not going to the concert I paid €130 for, due to these scamming fuckers

We are Canadians who ordered broadway tickets for. one date and when processed we got the wrong date. Immediately contacted them regarding the error. Said there was nothing they could do although it was an error on their site. Can even resell on their link as don’t have a USA bank account. A complete scam!!

Will be lodging my complaint with authorities

I bought tickets via Seat Geek for Springsteen on Broadway for August 18. I realized I couldn’t make that date so I used SeatGeek to sell the tickets I bought on SeatGeek for approximately face value after costs. Seat Geek refused to issue me the proceeds of the sale until after August 18, 2 months after I sold them.

at the DeVos Performance Hall. My husband didn't realize until he got his confirmation email that it was her greatest hits. Because the receipt indicated the correct title but not the processing website. Now, how would I know it was her greatest hits and not her performing; and considering your a discount site we just thought it was an awesome deal.

We expect a complete refund and compensation for purposely deceiving us. I'm very upset and disappointed considering I have always wanted to see Barbra. We have used SeatGeek as a ticket site before and were very happy with the service.

I expect better from the company and it's CEO.
