Not accommodating. Have used Sonder before w/luck. This last stay was horrible. I would say the problems stem from housekeeping. If housekeeping would do some real housekeeping it may eliminate a lot of problems. First room was full of gnats that have breeded and are breeding which has attracted lizards. Room/apt has a old rot smell which is most likely coming from using the same dirty rags on all the rooms. Finally switched rooms/apts. Second room/apt wasn't much better in cleanliness. Housekeeping isnt changing out the trashcan bag, only removing trash from the trashcan bag. There are water links from the faucet in the kitchen. No shower handle/knob. Cannot turn take a shower as there was no handle/knob. Sat around hours waiting on maintenance.

Sonder is absolute TRASH.

I booked 2 stays with them in Boston. For the first stay, I requested a late checkout via the app and was given till 1 pm to check out, great, no worries. However, I end up getting slammed in traffic coming back from a business meeting, and appropriately notify them of my situation, they say great no worries, then about 30 minutes later, I have 5-6 calls from them, texts, and messages on the app everything trying to get me to leave ASAP. I understand this also, but I did tell them what was going on and was told by more than one person that it was ok. long story short, end up getting back at 3 pm, pack everything in 5 minutes, and leave, escorted by an employee (really?). My reservation was canceled twice because “ your booking was flagged and reviewed extensively. ” When I called to get an explanation I was told it was due to a problem with my credit card. What is the answer? There were no supervisors to help me and the customer service rep could only read the script.

Staying at Sonder Vine in Philadelphia. Booking for a party of four. Check-in 08/07/2022 (Check out due 08/10/2022).

First we arrived right on time at 4:00pm for check-in and the building door would not open with the code provided to us. Eventually we managed to get in after phoning the "help line".

Then, when we arrived at the apartment we noticed that only two (2) towels were supplied (for the party of four (4) as stipulated in the booking). We immediately reached out to the Sonder Help Desk through the App's messaging service at 4:45pm. The response came "I see that you need extra towels, let me process the request at my end". NO, we do not need EXTRA towels, we should have been supplied with the correct number of towels in the first place. But ok, the towels will be delivered shortly…

I was staying with a friend in her sonder she stayed a couple days prior to my arrival. I thought it was a nice new way to stay rather then staying in the same old hotels. I believed that it was a wave that would take over the future.

Good idea but horrible customer service the day of our departure I got stuck on the other side of town while my sister, my friend and my daughter was left to pack up my belongings. They ran out of time and check out was already passing, a Sonder employee and security came to the door and threatened to call the police.

I came down to San Diego to grab the rest of my belongings out my storage to move it back east with me so there was a lot of stuff in the Sonder but not messy. The employee gave my family a 5 min warning then proceeded to close the door and…

A friend stayed at your Sonder and I went over for dinner one night and a sleepover. Your hotel staff is a nightmare. They reeked of marijuana and meth and had the nerve to get rude with me because I asked a question about parking my car.

Then they tried to bully me into giving them $300 to not park my car, but to get it when I leave. I felt very uncomfortable. Your facility is not handicapped accessible and I will be reporting that as I nearly fell down the stairs during a "false alarm" fire alarm.

Poorly managed hotel and the reviews have been telling you volumes. Needless to say I didnt stay due to the ac not working, broken beds and no hot water to bathe in. Your hotel has the audicity to harrass people, yet you cant even provide the bare necessities or amenities, that were paid by…
