Okay, your restaurants are officially crap. I got served food from a cook wearing slides on his feet. Your chocolate shake tastes like crap. You have no customers in your restaurant anymore due to the kiosk. Instead of having waitresses and people waiting on you when I go out to eat I want to be served.

I don't want to have to serve myself. I can do that at home. Get it together...

I went to your store in chesterfield Mo and I ordered 5 chicken strips meal and I asked for 2 bbq sauces and the girl at the drive thru window told me I would have to pay extra for 1 more bbq sauce it only comes with 1 but I ordered 2 extra chicken strips that made 5 of them how can you use 1 bbq with 5 piece if you had bought 3 you would have gave me 1 if I had drove back through the drive they and

I am an employee of Osage Beach Mo I only have have 70%hearing in one ear and completely deaf in my right ear from past trauma I've been in very stressful work environments. But this one had made me feel less than I know I'm capable of it I I try to give 110% each time but I know the days that I cannot work drive through and

I try to tell the managers I don't think I'm going to be able to do this today. Cuz here I can't hear in on my right is ringing and with the drive and the sounds of the vehicles I'm unable to keep up with taking orders it's easier for me to read them I felt completely humiliated crying on the line because the tones of my manager's voices are of me not being able to complete my duties.

I dined in at steak and shake and when I went to pay with gift card that required to be scanned was told their register wasn’t set up to accept. This gift card was in my wallet on my iPhone.

80 that I purchased and can’t use. Was told had to place order online for pickup which I don’t do. Had I been told when purchased I wouldn’t have bought. What the heck - selling a gift card I can’t use.

When initially bought I used it with no problem (dine in) but apparently a new system was installed & now I’m out of luck. Asking for help/reimbursement.

Urbana IL store on Kenyon Road is awful. Every time i go which is after work at 10, the 2 girls working at night are the two rudest people ive ever come across. Both are always rude and very demanding and when ordering one of the girls (red hair) doesnt listen when you order i am always repeating myself and shes just rude when interacting with me.

Service was very slow, verry very slow, extremally slow almost no-existent. We were there just over 30 minutes before the waitress came and took our order. It was another 35 minutes before our food arrived. The waitress said She would be right back with our shakes. I had finished my hamburger when she brought the check and ask if we needed anything else. I said "Yes we need our shakes" She had forgot. In total we were there for almost an hour and a half. From the look I got from the waitress I'm not sure she understood why I didn't leave a tip.

There were a number of people who got tired of waiting and just walked across the street to McDonalds. I should have done the same.

An honest rating in my opinion would be 0.25

Showed up at 9:00 pm to order they told me to hold on in the drive-thru and never returned to take order and then I tried to go inside and a young dark haired female said no they were closed inside and I told her well u guys won't answer us at drive thru either and she just said sorry we are closed but internet says u close at 10 pm.

They are there to do a job ur company pays them to do and they don't want to do it. I have a picture of the workers refusing us service for no reason. I had to put my dog down today and just getting around to dinner this late at night to be treated this way is horrible they shouldn't be able to do this the young lady was on her phone ,not customers needs. com.

I filled out a complaint days ago and have heard nothing. I need a MANAGER to call me back, a regional manager or someone who is in charge of individual store managers. We experienced the WORSE service EVER last Sunday.

A higher up needs to email me ASAP. You do NOT want the jerk at one of your restaurants to be managing one of your stores! I'm sure you don't want those reported?

Web site said the store in Sandusky Ohio was open hrs posted on door said they were open went to order and they said they were closed do to lack of employees call offs the grill was not ready nothing was ready I purchased steak shake gift cards so I could use them when I was low on cash to get a meal before I went into work obviously I didn't get my meal this is absolutely crazy if they know there is call offs they should come in early and make some calls to get the store open

ORDERED LUNCH ON LINE FOR DELIVERY TODAY. AFTER RECEIVING OUR ORDER I CALLED THE STORE BECAUSE WE DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY UNTENSILS AND WE ORDERED 2 CHILI 5 WAYS. WE DIDN'T GET CRACKERS OR CHEESE. THE RUDE PERSON WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE TOLD ME THE MANAGER WASN'T IN.

i, I placed an online order through Steak ‘n Shake app/website and it happened that I received a wrong order. I tried to call the store and they asked me to call DoorDash. DoorDash on the other hand said that they will take full responsibility, however, since the order has been placed directly through (store), you have the authority to process the refund back to my card.

Ordered online got to location and they where closed not from area and called other stores and hung up on me called corporate when hit 1 for complaints it stated that the number was no longer in service still can't get ahold of any one for anything

I have been going to the steak and shake in Naples Florida for about three years. No complaints till today. When I got to the window and paid, I sat there for approximately four minutes and then I was told to please move up and wait for my food.

I waited there another four minutes when my food came out - I asked where my drink was. He did go back and come out with the wrong drink. he went back in, came out with my banana milkshake with no straw which I didn’t recognize until I was driving.

I don’t consider this good service or fast food. I was very disappointed.

I was at your 4310 Southport Crossing location on 2/25/23 at 7:15 pm. Somehow my order got lost and I didn’t receive any food. I requested my money back and have not received anything back on my card. 57. My credit receipt was 604844269205 .

The store number looks like it’s 174 and the number below the date and time is 1030024. 57 to my American Express card today.

I have eaten at steak shake for years. I took my mother for lunch at west plains today. We got chili 3 way’s since when did they start just stirring it up and not layering. No Parmesan cheese even available.

Had to ask for crackers. Was heated up in microwave and still very cold. Unfriendly staff. What has happened we love to eat there. I can tell you why they have very few customers. Some one needs to have them get it together

The food was really good but the last couple times I have a ordered a chocolate milkshake there has been a very strong peanut butter taste in the milkshake, leading me to think that they are not cleaning the machine very thoroughly. Now I don't have a peanut allergy but I suggest that the problem gets fixed before some one with an allergy orders a milkshake from the machines that they are not cleaning

My friends and I stopped at the Steak and Shake in Beavercreek, OH today after a meeting at a home. We were surprised to see that Shake and Shake no longer had servers and we needed to order with a kiosk.

Several of our group are elderly and it was very difficult for them to maneuver the ordering. A lady that was frying hamburgers was kind enough to come out and help my friends. Then our orders came out at different times which made each of us getting up at different times to retrieve our food.

Lastly, not only was my hamburger cold and fries cold; I ask for mayo and mustard on my hamburger and there must have been at least a heaping tablespoon of each on the single hamburger. I had to use several napkins to scrape the excess off the bun.

I visited your restaurant number 271 in Ocala Florida on December 17, 2022. I placed my order through a kiosk at 1:22 PM. After about 20 minutes, we went to the counter to find out why we didn’t have our food yet.

The lady said they were very busy which with the drive-through traffic. We asked if the drive-through got priority service and she said no. About 10 or 15 minutes later my son-in-law went up there and asked again, but he asked if he could speak to someone and I’m not sure if it was the manager that he spoke to, but we did get our food shortly after that.

I went to the drive thru at 2101 liberty dr. In Bloomington, Indiana. I ordered my food then waited in line for approximately 20 - 30 minutes. I finally got my food went home and realized it wasn't my order.

I drove back went inside and was ignored by the workers, now there are already 2 gentlemen there also waiting ( apparantly from door dash who also are being ignored) I talked to two different female employees, the first took the wrong order from me and walked off as I was trying to talk to her.

The second I asked if they were making my order right. She said they were short staffed and someone drove off in the drive thru, which is why I probably received the wrong order. I said well I understand that but it has still been an hour long ordeal for me, I would expect to be compensated…

My husband and grandson came home with there milkshake from the columbus indiana steak n shake. He ask for chocolate shake and my 9 years old took a sip and said taste funny because it was peanut butter and he is allergic to peanut butter.

Wow thank goodness mama took it or this could have been life threatening. Your workers need to pain attention. I'm so upset about this .

Called to see what hours were said they were open. Drove 30mins and Said they were closed for shift changed. Waited and placed online order came back after to pick up still said they were closed waited outside said they should have been there at 5pm.

Wait another 30mins and they are still turning down cars and seeing them drive off. Not going to stay open or even make profit under these conditions. Horrible service.

At the west plains, missouri restaurant we had to wait in line for 35 minutes and at the window for 10 minutes for a total of 45 minutes or longer. This is not good management and staff did not appear trained well enough.

No apologies for why they were so slow. But i will not go back due to this kind of service.

It took 4 tries to get our order correct. The manager came to our car and said hey boss I need those burgers back after the order had been taken wrong and prepared wrong 3 times and after I had already tried to give the original burgers back at the window.

He would not give us the correct order until we gave back the wrong ones though I’d touched them to see if they were correct and waited for the 3 attempts to correct the order. 2 double steak burgers no cheese and a ff and drink.
