I use their mobile app. MANY times I've gotten into a trade, or was about to get into a trade, and then then app kicks me off. It says "Your Session has been Closed". Today I was trading TSLA and did a PUT contract.

but then it kicked me off the app. I had to re-login. By the time I got logged in again, TSLA spiked back up and I was down $288! I talked to customer service and they said they'd only give me $150 as a "courtesy". Thats total BS.

It's an issue with their app as this has happened multiple times ONLY while I'm in the middle of a trade or when I'm about to confirm a trade. DO NOT use TOS mobile app.

I recently made a new account with TD I use their mobile app to deposit a check shortly after they closed my account and claims the fraud department put a hold on my funds for 60 days. Well it’s well over the 60 day period and still they have no answers as to why I can’t get my money??? I think it’s really ridiculous

My client is the court appointed Personal Representative of her late husbands estate. His will was filed and allowed by the Probate Court and left all his assets to his surviving spouse. Those assets include 100% of his shares in a corporation that is the record owner of securities purchased through and held in a TDA account in the name of the corp.

Hello, is it possible to have a problem with the address wallet and couldn't receive the profis because the reason is Blockchain error or it's a scam? Emily Mercados is the Admin. She was convinced me to pay deposit to acceleration of the Blockchain error to be rectified without results.Now she ask me to pay a deposit to BTC to be able to transfer my profit and receive it on another address wallet.

My late mother has her IRA investment with Ameritrade. I am a beneficiary and have called around 10 times and have emailed my IRA beneficiary and her death certificate application and keep getting an email saying I need to submit everything again although I keep doing that and

not getting anyone to help me and now they said they were purchased by Charles Swab and nothing is getting done. It is hard enough losing a mother but now Ameritrade wants to make excuses and not do anything to process my paperwork and give me my beneficiary payout.

I have waited almost 4 years for a check to come in, and as soon as it did, I deposited into my Ameritrade account waited the allotted time it to clear the check. Once it was cleared, I proceeded to transfer fund into my personal account which again I waited the time it took to do so, just to find out they had been cancelled due to AMERITRADE locking my account!

Now they want to investigate my account for FRAUD! What in the hell is going on, I did every step of verification that was asked of me several times and I still have no access to my account or MY money

TDA's ThinkOrSwim platform is full of bugs. You can place trigger orders, only to have them subsequently be changed while waiting so they don't fire. I've had TDA's support on the line "Shadowing in" (when they screenshare your ToS) and demonstrated the bugs for them and they have agreed that the problem is with their software and that I suffered real losses because of problems on their end.

Worst company to deal with, trying to get your money out. Every time we call we get a different person, who tells us what to do, we do it, then the next person says it’s all wrong. No help. When we ask to speak to a manager, they say they are too busy to help.

We have been at this for 5 months. We believe this is why they are so Big, they don’t return your money

My experience with the TDA asset transfer department has been horrible. Have been attempting for close to a month now to do a simple IRA to IRA transfer from an external account into a TDA account. The process should be very straightforward but it is not.

In numerous instances action is promised, but does not take place and is not followed up on. Several attempt to re-initiate the process have again resulted in promises of action but again nothing takes place. Attempts to escalate the issue to a higher authority for a resolution are just buried; so far all promised return correspondence just does not happen.

My 7 siblings and I are opening Inherited IRA accounts so my late father's estate can be settled and distributed. I was called by a representative of your firm stating my application was the only one incomplete, and until it was complete no distributions would occur.

I asked what was incomplete. I was told I needed to provide my net worth information to complete the application. I informed your representative the Security and Exchange Commission says net worth, net income are not required to open an account.

They are not information that can verify my identity. Your representative said "That's the SEC, that's not us. It's in the Patriot Act". I was amused then, not anymore. I read the sections in the Patriot Act about required information to open an account.

The company I work for has used Clover.com and TD Merchant Services for over 4 years. TD Merchant Services lacks Customer Service Agent skills or protocols to communicate plans or due diligence with its customers.

1. In 2020 TD Bank decided to change its back office processing platform from OMAHA to another company with its CLOVER.GO application. 2. This migration of all accounts required that TD Bank Merchant Services close all Merchant Accounts (with a 16 digit number) on the OMAHA platform and open a parallel account on the new system (with 12 digits). 3. TD Ameritrade uses excuses to delay customer access to their money or withdraw of funds when customers want to close their account. For three weeks I have tried to transfer my funds out of TD and close the account but TD used various excuses to block me by requiring 2 test transfers, then not accepting the tests, blocking transfers out of my account, then saying it is a computer issues etc.

When I offered to physically go to their branch to pick up a check they said they can only return the money to the original source (BofA acct) under AMLA rules. The AMLA was their last excuse and TD used it to send the money to TD Bank.

They took the money out of my account and now after 22 days of hassle, no one knows where the money is. The only answer I get is that it was returned but they refuse…

Replied to an Ameritrade Secure Message concerning moving an account from another broker to Ameritrade (more business). It's been 8 days and multiple follow ups and still no response. Hold times when calling are way too long. After dividends pay in May, instead of getting more business I am now moving all 5 of my accounts to Fidelity.

Hold times should not be 40 minutes and Messages should not take 8+ days for response.

Representative was very impatient and unwilling to explain my account. Any questions that I asked about my account he could be heared laughing in the backaground. I mentioned another company (Robinhood) and he proceeded to become defensive. He didn’t check the account notations from a previous call I made until I asked him could he check.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve had with TD Ameritrade. Rep was dismissive, arrogant and didn’t soothe my concerns regarding my account having good faith violations. This makes me question if I even want to continue doing business here.

Paper trading and on demand are broken. it appears that bid/ask is not in sync with price. Tech support knows about it but no one is working on it.

Also the customer support line takes up to 3 hours to respond

Tried several times to withdraw the final amount in my account ($750) but TD Ameritrade rejects it each time! Was planning to re-invest $500K back in when I understood what Trump was doing with the economy and tariffs etc. However, this final debacle has turned me off TD Ameritrade, will re-invest in another company instead.

I received a phone call from an investment firm today that reported that td had made a referral to them and were interested in my potential business. Upon questing they said I had given permission to td for this soliction. I had not.

I expressed my disbelief that td would do this, especially without my permission. The man did sound credible and knew about my td connection. He reported that his company has a partnership with you. What gives? Do you guys really do this?

I have a very large amount of money and have been contemplating getting back in the market with you people but now I am feeling skeptical. Please explain.

I use TD Ameritrade banking online to pay my monthly bills. I usually date them for the 4th of the month since that is when I get my Social Security. Some months TD can send payments electronically but most of the time it is by check.

I spoke to the bank & was advised that it is your fault since the company that you use accepts a limited amount of electronic payments. A few months ago I ended up overdrawing my checking account a few times because my payment was deposited before the date on the check. October's payment was going to be a little late so I called and made arrangements to get an extension until Nov 8. When I was online with TD last week I made the pay date Nov 4 a day after my SS came.

Today I found out that TD sent a check and with the holiday on Monday Nov 7th I am worried…

I am TD Ameritrade user and been asked to move my account. The service is bad and seems no response or very slow in response in account or application opening. I have just moved all my funds from TD Ameritrade and I am facing the difficulty in trading the Future Options. My orders had been rejected and I had submitted the Form 13 and Signature card to TD Asia but yet I didn't receive any email response to my case.

Tried to get a mortgage loan as a Canadian. The various departments could not figure out what was required. Offered us a favorable rate, in writing. then changed their mind and increased the rate with no real excuse. then out of the blue changed it again. We sent bank documentation our required documentation in excess of 30 times. They could not understand it. I provided job verification- been in same job since 1995. They did not believe and requested 6 times. I have close to 50 emails often asking for exactly the same thing.

We lost confidence and went elsewhere. Have received money and now I m told I owe TD money- which was paid a long time ago, they won't do business without up front documentation. Now I am told I was denied mortgage- is this sour grapes. I don't want it but it states…

This morning, I contacted Ameritrade headquarters, I was just calling to ask about my accounts or just investing. I was literally screamed at by an Ameritrade representative, for some general questions!. I will not detail the conversation which lasted about two minutes.

Not to mention the sarcasm along with the screaming! I believe with our modern technology, these discount brokers as Ameritrade will no longer be a necessity!. Researching, on your own will lead you to a wider scope of business investments that are suitable for you.

If not, I would definitely consider another brokerage other than Ameritrade. The screaming by Ameritrade was not the reaction I expected of professionals not a spoiled child, and very immature.

Year after year I receive an annual dividend from a thinly traded company. I have not received voting proxies, annual reports or timely dividend payments. The latest word is that the dividend paid on December 10 could take up to two months to reach my TD Ameritrade through Cede by the payor and Broadview/DTC representing TD Ameritrade. In a time of instantaneous funds transfer through the automated clearinghouse, this type of delay is completely unacceptable.

TD Ameritrade employees would not work for two months without receiving their paychecks, why should their customers? A manager had the hubris to leave this information in a voice mail. I had placed a stop limit order to protect my down side. Well the stock went down and only approx. 3% of the stock was sold and I lost over $20,000. This is an unacceptable practice and would like TD Ameritrade to refund all the money that was owed or I will have to take other action. Please advise ASAP.

Just received my IRA for IRS - no gains for 2014. I registered with TD Ameritrade under their superior reputation for IRA's! Must be old news or past history of Amerivest part of Ameritrade! I cannot imagine the Amerivest teams that invested my earns on absolute junk mutual funds! I am tempted to contact the Amerivest team handling my IRA account with Amerivest! I was making withdrawals from the TD bank on Bayard street with my employee id for 11 months. Today the philipino teller asked me for my license. I told her I was in my lunch and that she has always taken my employee id.

anyway I had to walk back to my job in the cold to get my license. Then i came back just to have to wait behind 4 people in line. I was waited on my the black female teller time who began to help a co worker while helping me(holding me up longer) just to tell me she has to verify the check i deposited on saturday and was a a available today(tuesday).

long story short i spoke to the assitant manager who spoke to his boss who said i had to wait another 20 minutes to withdraw money that was clearly available(that was after 50 minutes). how to ciminals steal when i cant…
