I received from the state of Illinois a Notice of Proposed Tax Due from a 2019 tax return that was prepared using TurboTax. 84. With that, I believe I will be moving on to another program, as all of the promises of helping me find my best refund have never been realized.

For 2021, Turbotax gave misleading information on my state taxes (NY). Turbotax ignored that bond interest on municipal bonds in non-NY states is taxable in New York. You also e-mailed me alleging that I did not file 2021 returns with Turbox. That information is wrong.

This year my Maine State tax was completely misfiled in that I had to file an amended return with the State of Maine. Have spoken to 8 cpas one today, no one has any idea what codes h and e are on federal return.

I will get one opinion form a tax expert,and an hour later a different opinion. Most say they cant review my returns ,but they are in Turbo Tax. This will be my last year of using turbo tax. There is no continuity from representative to another.

Cant access my account, and basically an ill trained force of tax representatives. Dan Kelley

I have used TurboTax for years. This year (2/10/2022), filed as usual and waited for my return. Today is 10/20/2022 and I finally learned why the IRS reduced my refund. 100% of my RMD went to my church and I followed the instructions to put into my tax return, but the paper return printed the QCM above line 4b of my 1040-SR and it appears the IRS overlooked and reduced my refund.

I needed the refund months ago and I am disappointed in TurboTax.

I paid for the premium tax package including audit protection. In my tax return I owed money, when you go to file and sign all the agreements it asks you if you want the money directly pulled from your bank account to pay the taxes owed. I selected yes.

turbo tx has no person or office to complain to nor does it take any responsibility in fucking up return situations. Turbo Tax should pay all late fees!!!

Please review my experience from March through July and reconsider if I am eligible for a return given the experience I had: After agreeing to pay over $500 (including tax) for full service, it was explained to me and my expectation was that the return would be prepared with competence and accuracy.

When the return was finalized and submitted, an error was discovered by the Illinois Department of Revenue. When I came back to Turbo Tax requesting full service assistance in April, I was informed to approach the State on my own and request more detail.

At that point, I came to the conclusion that Turbo Tax and Full Service could consult me, but would not engage with much assistance despite having Audit Defense. Once I provided Illinois with their requirements, they recalculated my tax…

I loved this company and how easy it is to file for 12 years. But if you don’t use them one year you lose all past records. I would pay to retrieve old return but that’s not an option. I will not use them or recommend them again based on this policy.

Make sure you download and save a copy because if your computer crashes you’re hosed!

It is a HORRIBLE policy that I lose all the 10+ years of past filings when I didn't file using turbotax. I would pay for a copy of a past year's forms and think you should offer that. I only had to change when we had an LLC and none of your products (I bought 3) were specific enough and I needed an accountant to file in 2020.

Now I need a copy of 2018 tax filings for a college credit and I don't have print out nor do I have e-file to look at and can't get one. I will NEVER recommend your products again. Period. I loved them and thought after I had an accountant help I could go back to doing them myself. GRRRRRR so angry

Can’t speak with a live rep. My taxes were wrong. They use a third party for refunds and still charge extra . Then to top it all off IRS released our money june 23 2022 still have not recieved refund.

When I called the third party another recorded message it said a check was issued. We ask for direct deposit.

com To whom it may concern: My name is Karey H and I am at this time making formal request to have all monies that I've paid to INTUIT/TURBO TAX refunded to me via my WISELY bank account that's on file with your office. I had previously filled complaint with your company in January 2020 for charges being applied to my account in error; and had received notification from your company via email that the case was resolved and closed.

Needless to say, no monies were refunded, due to your company stating that my choosing an option, which by the way I hadn't chosen, resulted in my paying for a service that had always been free of charge. The same thing occurred in tax years 2021 and 2022.

I especially took issue with the 2022 payment as it represented a very large percentage of my expected…

A fraud alert keeps mysteriously being placed on my account in my hometown at every store and ATM that I use almost daily I can't access my money I've been given a runaround and every excuse in the world I never speak to anyone that can speak English and when I ask for a supervisor they hang up on me no one can ever seem to fix a problem and

then they tell me I have to wait days to get access to my money... They say everyone else is a scam but they are the true scam artist they get your money easily but then to get your money back is a struggle if not impossible at times

I came across a video of a employee making racial remarks toward Caucasian individuals (the employee is not white) referring to them as “flour girl”, “clear girl” “sugar” and flower. Long story short I was supposed to be issued a refund for services by turbo tax. Was told multiple different things each time I call.. it's been a month since first told it was sent. Told it would be put on my card, then a check.

Then not sent at all . Most recent was told it was mailed March 18. Today being the 25th I called again and told not sent it could be 5 to 8 weeks... each time I got different answers ...

1 case and somehow I habe 8 case numbers.... I want my money asap

Terrible estupid company. Holly shit. Talking to a supervisor is impossible. My “tax expert” told me that 72 hours was gonna take for “quality control” to answer back. It’s april 12 as I write this and nothing I I ask again and Janice said “all the information I sent before is accurate and will continue to be accurate have a nice day”. I’m like wtf !!!!

Customer support is a joke. They just go around the bushes and keep u in a circle and do nothing. Terrible company. I had to file an extension because turbo tax idiot experts can submit my taxes in time what kind of fucking service is this !!!????

And then Support just repeat like a fucking parrot and when I ask multiple times for a fucking supervisor “they will call you within 3 days”. WTFFFFFFFF. Turbo tax can go fuck themselves fucking…

I am trying to file our federal and State taxes using your Premier version. In a nutshell, the product is insisting that I file state taxes for Florida land to pay to file a "second" file for Connecticut. Number one, we are filing federal taxes as Connecticut, and second, we lived for ten years in Florida and never had to file state taxes there.

Two years ago, i bought the basic Turbo tax product and ended up filing manually because the basic product no longer allowed me to claim carryover losses. Your products are very good - too bad they have to play bait and switch. David Carmody 203-508-0806

My turbo tax expert was amazing. THIS HAS NOTHING TODO WITH OUR PERSON THAT DID OUR TAXES!!!!!!

HOWEVER……, who ever Ronald is…… he should not be with TurboTax. My daughter had everything in……1 1/2 weeks ago and he says her taxes won’t be done until April 22. I was the one that talked her into doing live and now she stopped and is doing them herself.

They have a simple form, But she was unsure about the tax credits for their kids and didn’t want to mess them up. Doesn’t say a lot for team Ronald. Ref case number 1496219949 .. this is not only a reflection on you but me as well.

TurboTax automatically signed me up for the Deluxe version (an additional $59). This was not made known until I had entered my information for payment and I was about to confirm payment. When I saw this. I backed out of the page to clear and start over.

When I tried to navigate away from the page, the load screen took forever and then a receipt email was sent. I can now no longer file correctly and I am being fraudulently charged for a service I did not authorize.

I have been a customer of Turbotax for over 40 years. But this year has ended that association. I always buy the Deluxe version, which I did this year. This year the Deluxe version could not find my previous information from past years.

So, I had to start as a new customer and put in all the data that would normally be inputed into the new form. That is the first problem. In the past the Deluxe version has included Schedule D. But not this year, oh no.

I had to pay $89 for the Premier version to get that one damn schedule! I had already paid $45 for the Deluxe version. Which was always good enough in the past. Then I was going to be assessed a penalty for not paying my taxes on a quarterly basis.

But after answering some questions the penalty went away. Without this version having the past…

TurboTax took me to the page to file a Florida State Tax forms after I stated I didn’t need to. There was no way to bypass this step. I was charged $54 for “not” filing and when I try to get my money back I run in to one road block after another.

Excuses like “it’s being processed”. Didn’t take them this long to take my money! Don’t see any reason to do business with this company again!

I bought turbo tax box at meijer's in 2019 and 2020. I paid for free file for federal and state at the store. I was again charged and had my return reduced by the same amount when my return came in.

This also happened in 2018, but in person help took off extra charge. I can file through a local cpa with minimal experience for a lot less

My taxes were filed wrong only to be corrected by the IRS causing an even longer delay. I PAID $254 dollars for services and when I contacted customer services multiple times I either got the wrong information or the chat was dismissed by them.

Not to mention they took atleast 5 minutes between responses. I am highly dissatisfied with the services I paid for and wish I had not used them.

received email from turbo tax, my federal return was accepted on 2/26. The IRS web site has no information when I go on where’s my refund. I waited 2 hours, the girls a call and waited 50 minutes , the auto message said I didn’t answer and said the center was closed !

Turbo tax never had my refund deposited, because someone there input the wrong routing number and bank account to state and federal irs . Checked my 1040 tax and routing number and bank account number was correct. Turbo tax screwed up and I paid $117 for the online tax prep and they would deposit my refund into my checking .

This never happened, I finally got my state refund but my federal is In someone else’s account or my refund has been lost. Used turbo tax for 5 years now but not anymore . Horrible customer service

I have been a customer of TurboTax for several years. I filed my taxes again for 2021, the IRS sent my tax refund my to bank on file with TurboTax, the same AND only bank I do business with except this time NO REFUND.

After many calls to my bank the IRS & TurboTax I discover the bank information on file is not mine. I only have one account, and at no point did I change the bank information so how did that information change?!! Please advise.

For many years I use TurboTax for tax return preparation as it was recommended by Vanguard. Every year something is changed and I have problems to import forms from Vanguard to TurboTax. With help of TT representative I get it complete however my notes taken a last year are not in use.

This year after all forms imported from Vanguard I see all amounts in the list of accounts. Then I get to ‘Wages and Income’ and it shows the the line ‘Dividends on 1099-DIV’ with ‘Needs review’ for the year 2021 again.

So I’m in the loop. The case #1489899043 about import of forms from Vanguard has been registered on 2/22/22. The problem is still there. When to expect the procedure fixed? ’ Why should I pay for the defective TT product?

The new york state return on turbo tax premier 2021 does not allow tax credit for long term care. " If yoI u click no it moves you to next area. If yes, asks specifics of those items. The NY State Tax Website has no provisions specifying your conditions.

It states "If you or your business pay premiums for long term care insurance policy". I had no issues last year and it even carried over my unused credit from last years taxes. I tried to access the IT-249 form directly but it won't recognize it.

I shouldn't have to upgrade to talk to someone about a discrepancy. I called and automated said they would send link. It had nothing to do with this topic. 00 discrepancy. 00 for an upgrade to address an error. I will await your response before I finish my return this year.

The software I was advised to buy for $44 ended up being for 2021. I then called back and spoke to a different representative who apologized and helped me place a refund request for the incorrect software. I then asked this representative how to correctly file my 2018 taxes online. This gentleman walked me through how to buy the 2018 software for $88. I let the man know that I didn't want to buy the incorrect software again and to please confirm that this software will allow me to file my complete tax return online. I used TurboTax to file my taxes for 2021. I tried requesting a CREDIT KARMA cash advance but it wasn’t working. On Feb 4,2022, TurboTax sent me an email stating that a number of customers tried requesting a refund advance and wasn’t able to after several attempts.

Because of this, TurboTax will refund call fees for filing. It also said no action was needed from me so in my mind, I assumed they would cancel the payment for the fees. request to have my fees taken out my refund initially. It’s Feb 18, 2022.

I check my turbo tax account and saw that the payment was pending for my fees of $117. I called and they told me I had to wait to get my refund from IRS then request for my refund from turbo tax and that it would take 21 days. How is that possible?

Last year, TurboTax was Great. I had a prepared named Carol who did my taxes in 1 day.

This year I get this unprofessional slow turtle named Danielle that after 2 weeks is still asking the same questions and I still have no review to read yet! She logs one one minute once in a while, sends me the same repetitive message and then logs off before you can answer. I think she is a robot. Are there live preparers there anymore? GET RID OF DANIELLE

I wouldn't recommend this servi to anyone. The page constantly locks up, it wastes alot of time and pretty much determines you will pay for the service. In fact it charged me twice for the Federal Tax Return when I simply tried to download my return.

I filed my 2020 federal income taxes with Turbo tax on February 16, 2021 online. I was told I was due a refund of $6069. I have been dealing with the IRS providing paperwork associated with the ACA deduction Turbo tax applied for in my return.

64, far less than what Turbo tax said I was entitled to. The IRS explained errors were made on my filing and my refund was reduced due to errors in the tax forms filed. 96. My taxes were not properly prepared and I should not be responsible to pay for such shoddy and inept service.

Please send me a refund of the preparation fee immediately. No one should have to pay for such terrible and inaccurate services. Thank you. Carole Giordano

After filling out tax forms I couldn't file because it said I needed to upgrade to process form 8959. I called on February 6th at approximately 7:17 and spoke with Tiara. She tried to help me for 42 minutes but we couldn't see the form or delete.

I called back on February 7th and spoke with Alice G for 32 minutes and she couldn't help either and we couldn't see form. I finally just decided to pay the 39 because I had wasted enough time. I saw the form in my return and, although our income was less than 250,000 (thresh hold for form) with benefits it exceeded by 1,000.

Had someone been able to tell me that in the over an hour I wasted that issue would have been resolved. Even more infuriating, when I went to pay the 39 for deluxe turbo tax, which is what was clearly stated I would pay,…

I did not want to get a credit karma card for the advancement, I have a direct deposit to another bank. So I guess I'm not able to get the advance??. Maybe you should not offer that, I'm sure next year I will Not be using your service anymore.

I sent our Federal, State and Property Tax returns on 10/17/21.

All were accepted by 10/17.

The PROBLEM? The State and Property Tax returns were sent as ONE return. The state did not FIND the Property Tax return. The state does not even acknowledge that it has RECEIVED the Return. I am now on Hold to speak to the state....25 minutes of HORRIBLE MUSACK.

Meanwhile, the TurboTax representative sent notice of the electronic acceptance to ****@gmail.com instead of ****@ MAIL.COM.

I have to call TurboTax back, because the representative heard what she wanted to here and not what I said. (I do as little trade with Google as I can....I will be adding Intuit to that list soon, I believe."
