Unum Group

I received ltd and now am on ssdi. My retro payment started in december 2022 from ssdi. Why can unum charge me for last years payments when my retro from ssdi did not go back that far. I beleive a mistakes has been made and I tried to resolved this through my caseworkers.

This company has treated Humana employees with anything less than with dignity. There taxes never go through I’ve faxed my medical records more then five times and was told they weren’t received and I could not email them then speak with a supervisor e weeks after no response and they say to email and they get the email the same day.

I was in a head on accident June 13 my doctor wrote me on leave until august 13 and they refused to obey his orders and only approved me out until July 17 July 17 we sent over more then 5 faxes to them with no avail constant phone calls with no solutions they do not care about their employees I’ve spoken to numerous supervisors and can’t get anything done with this company it’s ridiculous and they should be ashamed

I am sick with a critical illness and I filed a claim with UNUM for STD. The information requested has been received but isn't updated or accurate in the portal or website. The claim representative assigned to me is unprofessional and provides false information.

UNUM accurate information has not provided me with information and the claims rep alluded to my claim being denied after receiving documentation from my care teams. I see multiple doctors for treatment. This company is a rip off. They have received premium payments yet look for ways to deny claims.

That is their reputation and it continues.
