they have been wonderful!!!! My complaint is with their partner, Signify Health who does their in home health evaluation. They promised me a $100 gift card as a reward for doing the assessment and after several emails and calls I was told today it takes 180 days before you get the card.

I have researched Signify and found on Google and the BBB this is what the constantly do. You never get the card. quickly!!! They are ruining a stellar reputation!

It is impossible to get help with a denied claim that doesn't take at least 30 minutes! This morning I used your Chat option and talked with Nereida Pino. It took 30 minutes for her to say she was transferring me to PCS.

I was transferred at 8:44 and finally gave up at 9:29. This is ridiculous! I can assure you that I will never give you a good review and I tell everyone I know to stay away from Wellcare!! Even when I complain, nothing is done about it!

Of course I printed all of this thru your site, but it comes out as a PDF and you won't accept it unless it is a gif or jpeg.

Well care by Fidelis Care is sending me mail in extreme ;in excess.

The other issue is that they are delving into my privacy and telling me and sending letters if I don't pick up my medicine Timely. It is not a service, it is harassing and if the medicine is not picked up from the pharmacy immediately or very quick I don't have to explain myself to you!My last pharmacy is over filling and burdening me with there wanting me to get many more perscriptions then I need.You are going along with that and using me ,and the excuse that it is in the best interest of my health.

I filled out the reimbursement form that was mailed to me and I sent it back within 24 hours. I called and it has been almost 2 weeks since I sent it back to them and they said they have not received it.

If they did not receive it. I’m assuming that for the most part it would’ve been returned to me. Now they are telling me to wait for them to mail me another copy to fill out which I need the doctors help with because the people on your end, don’t even know what the codes are for a tetanus shot And

then I have to mail it back and wait to see if they lose it again what is the members guarantee that this is not going to keep happening? I spoke to a supervisor, and she had little to no information and just kept repeating what is ever written on a script for her . 11.

I want to view my dental claims. I go to the dental provider's web site, and there it says to view them on Wellcare's website (see HDS screenshot). I go to my Wellcare website, and it has Medical Claims and Pharmacy Claims, but no dental claims! See Wellcare screenshot.

Where or where did Wellcare hide them? I called Wellcare twice and no one has a clue. Very typical.

Refusal to remove my phone number from an actuve member account, even after multiple complaints from calls, mail, email, and through multiple platforms. Even the customer has requested the phone number be removed. I not recommend Wellcare and I have made a note not to do business with Wellcare when I reach that age; and the client is changing plans when it's time to change.

All this due to extremely poor customer service, perks don't make plan, but good customer service does.

I have been trying to get multiple healthy reward money cards from wellcare for almost 2 yrs. I have completed the requirements to earn them . Customer service can't tell me where my cards are or why I don't receive them.

I've submitted numerous proof of completion to them. They say they will call me back and never do, they hang up on me or transfer. i do t know if others in my state receive their rewards cards or not.

No one there is willing to help get to the bottom of this issue with me. I want to work as a team with them to figure this out but no one there is interested in that. What's going on??

Poor customer service. I called pick the prompt to the department that I wanted and then was on hold for more than 15 minutes. Got someone had to reverify all the information and then transferred and had to reverify my information again.

And the person not only didn't help me but proceeded to transfer me yet again. The second two people I got were both curt with me when giving me responses.

They hire incompetent individuals. Supervisor s hide and never are available. I requested a call back since 01)20/2023 no one called back and your reps Ken and Chris are useless individuals that do not need to be employed. Why have supervisors?

Are they scared because apparently no one is doing their job? Where do you hire these clowns from. Representative did not want to release supervisor name ( Max) supposedly. It's sickening dealing with this company. I will advise my supervisor to no longer accept this insurance as it was not a priority to resolve this issue by company.

I am disabled & low income. I signed up for the Special supplemental Benefits for the Chronically ill last year. My doctors office is just a small town office. They are not a digital office. Wellcare is insisting the doctors office get on their online portal to send info so I can keep the benefits.

They can fax or call or mail but not able to go to the portal. I am not the only one at this doctors office that is having problems with this. I am talking to SHIP & The Kentucky Ombudsman about this.

I have been with wellcare for a long time,I would hate to have to switch to another company. My wife is also with wellcare. The paper I am referring to is the Pro-86558E internal approved 09072021. This is what the doctors office told me.

I called WellCare plan number on my insurance card, give them my ID. number, ask about a referral to see a specialist, I ask to see the Dr. Approved to me is little too far, to see they have one close by, she find one close to my home , I ask do I need get new approvals, she said NO, I just pay $10 copay, I can see this Dr.

A family member who had Wellcare Part D coverage passed on. I was able to notify Social Security, Medicare, and his AARP Supplemental Plan K with phone calls. They were pleasant and helpful. Not so with Wellcare. They wanted a Power of Attorney, death certificate or doctor's letter, other legal documents to prove his death. Ridiculous.

Since their premiums are paid through Medicare, and since SS and Medicare have cancelled his coverage, Wellcare Part D will be automatically cancelled as well, but the "customer service representative" either didn't know that, or refused to acknowledge it. Either way, it would have forced an unnecessary burden on his daughter to provide all of the totally unnecessary documents to a company who obviously has no compassion or respect for their customers…

I could not hear well and could not understand the customer service representative's words. They could not understand what I was saying. I speak clear English and they had a very heavy accent. The 2nd representative was worse than the first one. I finally gave up.

I have called several times to wellcare customer service to request a drug tier reduction on a medication i need for 2023. i talked with three different ( supervisors) and they took down all my information after being put on hold for at least fifteen minutes at a time.

they assured me they were going to fax the form to request a tier reduction with information why from my doctor to my doctor. all there gave me ticket numbers. days went by and i called my dr. and never received any fax from wellcare customer service.

i did this three times and i have to make up mind on whether to stay with wellcare for 2023 or switch to another party d insurance company. while talking with all four csr's i could not understand them as they were talking and i heard chickens in the background.

I would give this company a zero. Customer service people don’t speak clearly, usually phone connection is terrible. They have to keep putting you on hold to get an answer to your question. Are these representatives even trained. Most of the doctors in my area in CT are dropping WellCare, so I have to pay out of pocket for services.

I needed a therapist after a car accident and was given two names of people that are located more then an hour away from me. I could not find a therapist that would take WellCare. WellCare rep. Told me to go to CVS for over the counter benefit when I went CVS didn’t know what I was talking about, the the next call to WellCare rep was I was suppose to go to designated CV S not all your WellCare employees are informed about your benefits.

The folks at Wellcare answering the phone have extremely poor English skills. They are unable to communicate effective in English! July 2022 Wellcare was supposed to change my plan and put me on a new plan. They did so and in the process the erroneously supplied the wrong primary care physician. I have a PCP but they assigned a person whom I have never had a doctor patient visit with. After taking a referral from the primary care physician they were unable to see me because the PCP information was wrong.

Is there an American company that provides medicare insurance? I find these foreigners are totally incompetent.

I do not have time to waste because Wellcare employees are incompetent.

I will definitely drop Wellcare at the first open season opportunity.

I need time sensitive surgery on my neck and lower back. I missed my apointment because wellcare keeps denying my claim for MRIs and CT scans even though it is a dire situation. I have now have to wait over a month to see my surgeon.

My pain level is ridiculous but worse than that I am losing feeling in my pointer finger, thumb and both arms have varying degrees of numbness. Well care is the worst insurance I have ever had.

Her member number is C4041383501 Together we phoned member services on 4/19 and we were told that it would take approximately 2 weeks. She did not receive a new card. Together we phoned member services on 6/29; verified her mailing address. We were told it would take approximately 2 weeks. She has still not received her card. I am a nurse that cared for a patient with your insurance 0n 7/5/2022 we had a patient here for treatment related to vascular issues. The patient had a long day here prior to the transportation issues that occurred when it was nearing time for her to go.

This writer tried to arrange her ride with your transportation provider Yes medical. The transportation service was difficult to deal with on the phone and they never actually arranged a ride for the patient. I called them a total of 4 times in an attempt to obtain a ride with this patient.

Apparently the service is based in Florida ( We are in New York State) and they did not appear able to coordinate transportation services in this area. m. m. for the procedure) and had to pay 50 dollars out of her own pocket.

I enrolled in this prescription plan jan 2022. When my plan became active in Jan, I pd in full for 1 year. In May of 2022 I received a letter from wellcare stating they received a request to have the monthly plan premium auto deducted from my social security check.

I never received a coupon book from them for payments as I paid 1 full year starting Jan. This company is now being double paid since deductions have began coming out of my social security checks. I have called them numerous times about this and wellcare employees keep trying to tell me the money I paid in Jan has been refunded.

Member # 306152217 I was in hospital in 2021 and WellCare approved partial reimbursement on 3/9/22 for the drugs Medicare did not cover, which I had paid. On 5/12/22 I was told a check was previously issued in the amount of $299, which I never received.

They informed me they needed to stop payment on the check and reissue a new check. On 5/3/22 I was told the matter would be escalated and I would get a response in 3 days. On my 6/7/22 follow-up call, an account supervisor told me she would personally handle the matter and mail a response within 14 hours.

Had Wellcare planning on retirement. I am still working and tried to use Wellcare as secondary insurance. My claims were denied with no explanation other than having to speak to the "medicare department" as they called it. Turns out after no explanation from anyone at wellcare, the "medicare department" is actually medicare.

During trying to figure this out one of the representatives had me on hold for over 2 hours before I hung up. I can only assume he left the line open and had no intention on talking with me as he had the same lack of proper information I needed.

Since I am still working I cancelled this policy if for no other reason than sub par customer service by people who no grasp of the English language.

Customer service is by far the worst I have ever experienced. Every communication requires a wait for an identity verification agent, then another wait for a “supervisor” who knows nothing about your prescription request. Then, they leave a message to call back, and go through the same verification and transfer process (at least 30 minutes) only to advise they need 72 hours to make a coverage determination.

I have just signed up with Wellcare insurance as of June 1, 2022. My most recent a n d aggressivevating experience was june 7, 2022 when I called simply to learn if my 90 day medication could be sent earlier so it would arrive sooner thN June 13 which is just an estimate given by a computer.

I believe the total time of the entire call was 18:33 and o still had not been transferred to Pharmacy Services! I feel this is totally unacceptable and unreasonable unless the company's computer system crashed. I have been dealing with WellCare here in Ky. Since March and they tell me something different every time I call them and I need some options so I can get dental care for my austistic grandaughter whom I am guardian of.

Her name is Cierra Meade, birthday 11/12/ 97 and our address is 35 George’s Drive, Somerset, Ky 42501. I contacted WellCare when I discovered that I couldn’t get her dental care. She has a history of grandma seizures in the past and she been been diagnosed with autism/MR.

She is not capable of receiving normal routine dental visits. She goes to the surgery center once a year and has her procedures. She has not been able to, have her teeth done due to no one accepting new WellCare patients and her old dentist is no longer at her office but has moved on.

I had a apt. western Boulevard WellCare Orchard Park New York. This morning where I had experienced the most rude unprofessional behavior from one of the receptionist at this facility her name was Catherine. This girl should not be working with the public.

Denied approval for essential Multiple Sclerosis drug that I have taken for 20 years, including several on WellCare. They advised me to switch to a much cheaper drug, so my doctor had no choice but to make the switch. The drug is on their formulary and is often used to treat severe fatigue from Multiple Sclerosis and costs only about $100 versus $1,500 a month for the preferred drug.

INCREDIBLY, the coverage was DENIED! I spent an hour with a Medicare agent who reviewed everything and saw absolutely no reason for the denial! She submitted a detailed complaint and escalated the issue because of inappropriate denial of service. Surprisingly, when asked she said there have been a very high number and increasingly serious complaints against WellCare since January.

I enrolled with WellCare in January of 2022. I was told I would receive a Flex Card for $500. I never received the card because they failed to put my apartment number on the envelope. I called today to find out my policy was cancelled Jan. 1,2022.

I cancelled on February 1,2022 because the customer service, once again, was horrendous. Being put on hold, transferred to the wrong departments. Same as when I had them in 2019. I was not able to use the Flex card in January because I never received it and I wanted to go to the dentist to finish dental workl I had started.

So, I was entitled to that $500. flex card and was not able to go to my dentist to take advantage of this card. So, because of their bad customer service (again) I cancelled in February. BUT I was entitled to that $500.
