My wife shopped in Whole Foods Friendship Heights Maryland today. Her car was blocked in by another car, and she noted the license plate—so she requested that the store announce the license number on the PA system and ask the owner to move the car.
The customer service person said that they don’t have a PA system and she should talk with the parking attendant. She then did that—and the parking attendant obviously couldn’t do anything—and suggested that she ask Whole Foods to page the owner of the car.
She returned to customer service and they repeated the same refusal. My wife ultimately waited a long time and then managed to climb into the passenger door and over the center console and was able to leave. Later, when she called the store to talk with the manager, they didn’t connect…
