We took my stepdaughter car into the Bear, De location for service. Within days of picking the car up it started having problems that were not what we originally took it in for. We contacted the location who said to bring it in.

They provided the option of towing it back To their location. Now as it had not even been four days since the car was picked up that we started experiencing issues, we contacted the location because there is an expectation that the work performed is guaranteed and warrantied.

Not once during the initial conversation did the location disclose that we would have to be responsible for the tow!!! Quite frankly, the car was being towed back to them days later because of additional problems experienced. So to be honest, why would we expect to have to pay for the…

Location Shop. Hilltop st. In Chicago ht. Service: R/R water pump. Claim; Water pump are not done correctly. I still had leaks and smells with clicking whining noise in front of the water pump and pulley location.

Also I have a broken air mat sensor with a PVC air filter in on the hose. The manager are not trying to support the customer about my complaint. I have pictures of the broken part and the leaks from the return date from pick up.

I came back to the shop several of times. Today February 19, 2024 its at the shop, but no service at the moment.

We have a 2005 company Ford F 150 truck, recent service on the truck is always performed at Franks Automotive, they service all (23) fleet trucks. We have never not once had a problem with any of the maintenance on any of the fleet trucks. Years range from 2022 to 2005. I am the senior manager at Baytex and I have been driving the truck in question for the past five years. All maintenance is performed at Franks with out any problems

2022 I brought the truck to AAmco in Seguin Texas, they not once ever talking about any engine lights, they not once discussed any error codes with me. I went to them 10-9-2023 and they had my car for four days and that is when my car started leaking.They saw that I have a warranty on my car and I have leaking problem.I paid 1,160.40 the first time.Now they say l have leaking on my rear main oil seal, timing cover gasket/seal, and they charge my oil.They didn't change it the first time I went,l had to go back my oil light come on.11-14-2023.They replace dipstick seal. I had my vehicle towed to Aamco, they stated my oil was over filled and my transmission was bad. The transmission was replaced by Aamco however, the engine seized up. Documentation shows the the oil was never over filled. The paperwork that I have contradicts their diagnostic records.

I am a mechanic in the United States Army.

My daughter's car went in for A/C problems and a transmission oil leak and came back with wiring issues and another transmission oil leak. Took the car back numerous times with different excuses and lies. We haven't had it long enough in the last six months to tell if the A/C is really fixed but will never go back to the Buckeye, AZ Amcco even for warranty work, this has been the worst experience possible!

I think I should get my money back but I know that will never happen, you got me once but never again, I will be sure and tell everyone I meet how bad your work is!

Had AAMCO in Northglenn Co work on my son's car. It had a rattle so they said it needed a new timing chain, charged me $1800 and had the car for a few weeks. Drove the car 30 miles and the engine threw a rod and now I'm out all that money and the cars going to the junk yard.

In 2022 I had my transmission rebuilt on my 2014 E150 Ford van. 6 liter. This was done by AAmco 1949 Virginia Beach Blvd. Virginia Beach, Virginia. Jimmy is the front desk tech. Rodney is his assistant. I had the transmission rebuilt completely.

I also had the Y-Pipe replaced with 4 new BOSCH oxygen sensors installed and 2 new catalytic converters replaced at the same time. During the warranty period, the check-engine light appeared on the dashboard and I had the code checked at Advance auto out of curriosity.

The code is P2251 (oxygen sensor) malfunction. The checking of the code deactivated the check-engine light on the dash but remained in the truck computer to be seen as a 'hard-code'. I…

Zero stars : My vehicle was taken to the Hemet CA location and I advised that I have a transmission issue and after diagnosing the vehicle the advisement Via the diagnostic machine and mechanic was that the vehicle needed new spark plugs and that was going to solve the issue of which I advised was wrong with my car.

The plugs were replaced and the problem persisted. Returned the car for an additional resolution. Was then advised that the plugs were cracked and needed to be replaced yet again. original problem still persisted. Took the car to another mechanic whom advised of a transmission issue.

My husband brought his pickup truck here for a transmission covered by his extended warranty! They had his truck for over two months! They messed up his wire harness so now he still can’t drive it! He has to pay more money to have it fixed right!

I took my car to AAMCO Transmissions, 1400 52nd St. in Columbus, Georgia, on July 26, 2023, to inspect my transmission.

They informed me my transmission needed to be changed. Morris, the on-duty manager, contacted my warranty company for approval.

Erwin suggested rebuilding my original transmission to save money on the warranty's cash limit. I still had to add $1,200.00 with the 3,100.00.

I dropped my car off to 8817 Western Ave Oklahoma City Oklahoma. At 4pm I had not heard anything the door said they close at 6pm. Well they close at 4:30pm. The gentleman said I need a blower and a compressor before he could go any further.

Nick at the front office of the AAMCO at business location southern and country club was very rude and I checked my transmission and complete. I took it back to get it redone cause it was slipping. I went. I talk to him on Friday.

He said he wouldn’t have time the guys Nick that works at the front counter. He told me to pick it up Wednesday at 10 o’clock. He never never called me and told me it wasn’t done. The catalytic converter was stolen from my car. I went to AAMCO at 1027 E. Gun Hill Rd, Bronx, NY several times but the last time was July 7, 2023 because my car started smoking, had a very loud noise & I could barely drive it.

I wanted to take it there while it was smoking so they could see what the problem was, because when I went there before they couldn't find anything wrong when they tried to recreate the problem. They don't have a diagnostic machine so they just guess what the problems are with vehicles.

They have had my car parked on the street for 3 weeks. When I went there & asked why was my car parked on the street, the young black man at the front desk said to me "they already stole your catalytic converter so there's nothing else they can steal that's why its on the street.…

THE WORST AUTO SHOP - AAMCO Queen Creek, AZ Location @ 20767 E Maya Rd. This shop would not take care of oil that spilled from the car above mine on a lift. The oil was spilled on the roof, windshield, hood and front grill of my car and was left untreated from 7/5 - 7/17 without them cleaning it off.

I was told it would be taken care of when I first noticed it on 7/8 and pointed it out to the shop employee Marcos but it still remained when I showed up on 7/17 to pick up my car. The manager David Banks could not be more disrespectful & unprofessional about this damage done by his shop.

David was unwilling to do anything about the damage and I was forced to take my damaged car from his shop and put in a claim with my own insurance company or he was going to charge me $150 per day in fees.…

This is my second complaint. The AAMCO in San Marcos, Tx had our car from the end of March until last week. They finally reinstalled the transmission, my husband went to pick up the car and pay for the install.

When he got in the car the clutch was completely shot. The clutch was fine when we dropped the car off. We were at the Subaru dealership less than an hour before dropping our car off at AAMCO where they test drove it and did complete diagnostics which can confirm no clutch issue.

My husband first thought maybe they test drove it and ruined the clutch. The manager at AAMCO said no one drove the car. AAMCO called us a few days later to say that they would not admit fault but they would replace the clutch since we drove the car to them and were unable to drive it out of there.

Around July 3rd my wife and I took our 2018 Jeep Compass to AAMCO in Colorado Springs to get transmission issue looked at and repaired. They had car for about two weeks fixing it and ordering parts. On July 12th she was called and told car was repaired and good to go.

The next morning she went to AMMCO to pickup car. 00 dollars to get it fixed and it's still missed up. We are very unhappy with the service and to return vehical still with issues is not right.

I took my 2005 Didge Caravan to have a radiator replaced and later to have a water pump replaced. The technician didn't flush my vehicle after replacing the radiator. My vehicle kept running hot,I called and took it back and the water pump was replaced.

Still it kept running hot. I kept complaining about how it ran hot. I was just informed that as a result of the technician not flushing after replacing the radiator, I have a blown head gasket. They want to charge me over 4,000 dollars for a new motor

Aamco in Terre Haute , IN has had my truck for 3 months . They rebuilt my transmission, which failed. They have put 2 remanufactured transmissions in it which have failed. Waiting on the 3rd remanufactured to come in. Marc Shudnow the owner is incompetent. They cannot keep help.

Who knows when I will get my truck back. And they are not truthfull when the business tells you one thing and won't honor. I'm 47 years old and have never made such a review on anything, I cannot believe this place stays in business

Hello. My transmission is being replaced through SecureOne/Marathon. Today I received a call at 12:15 from Joe to report that 2 motor mounts were also broken and he reached out to SecureOne to see if it was covered and they do not.

I called to inquire about this. I was told by Pete at 4:25 there was no report of bad motor mounts and they received no call to inquiry about it. I reached back out to Joe to share this info and he said they were bad and the inspector even verbally said something about having bad motor mounts.

I called SecureOne back at 4:45 and again Jeremiah said there was nothing in the report about motor mount trouble or the inspectors speculation of motor mount trouble. I know sometimes motor mounts can be damaged during transmission repair. I was warned of this.

Paid for a new transmission at the AAMCO on Florida Blvd in Baton Rouge. Paid higher amount for what was offered. Heard a noise when my daughter came home from school and took it to my mechanic in Florida. He called and let me that a transmission piece wasn’t bolted in properly.

Took it to my Local AAMCO in Florida. He Agreed but warranties evidently go through the person that did the work. I’m paying 1k to fix something because they didn’t tighten bolts. They blamed it on an issue over than their work and didn’t honor the warranty.

I would recommend not using the AAMCO near campus if you have a kid at LSU. WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD.

i took my 2019 chevy truck in because my transmission went out and i had it towed to AAMCO shop on uvalde in Houston Tx and the charged me $4,600 to repair my truck. when i picked it up it ran fine for a week and then began to shutter when i would first drive it in the morning, i took it back in and

I wish to speak to somebody that's in charge of AAMCO . 773-580-4278 CELL I was at your establishment two weeks ago with engine light And they said it was my co2 bank2 And that would fix my problem but then they told me to drive thirty miles on the highway and

the engine light would go away So I did yesterday came back because the engine light was still on and did not pass admission test so they replaced the sensor then said they wanted to charge me. Another $150 to put it on the computer to check it again.

I do not think this is fair. They should honor their warranty and put it on the computer anyways Can someone please call me.

I dropped my truck off at the aamco(153 Delsea dr. In Vineland NJ) on 02/09. It was leaking fluid & causing a burning smell inside the vehicle. I was told by “Allen” they wouldn’t be able to look at the truck until Monday(02/13.

On March 3, 2023 I took my Prius to Aamco El Cajon, CA. I spoke with the owner days later. He stated the nosie I heard was not wheel bearings and that is was a transmission issue. Given the fact that the car has under 66,000 miles and was a Toyota I asked him to stop his diagnostic and allow me to take it to Toyota for a 2nd opinion and possible warranty. I called Toyota immediately.

The location in East Point is awful. I dropped Mt truck off for a diagnostic and to replace a sensor. The shop refuses to contact me with an update. I never see any work being done on the truck. It has been sitting in a bay for over a week.

I stated that I am willing to have my truck towed elsewhere to get the work done. This experience has been highly unprofessional and time consuming. If the issue cannot be resolved I am escalating to law enforcement.

I have taken my car to my local AAMCO. I came out with more problems than what I started with and the local customer service agent refused to give me my refund because he said I had to have the car fixed in their shop.

I had already taken the vehicle there several times and they're kept being a problem with the vehicle. I have contacted aamco's corporate office and I'm now waiting for someone to contact me back.

Did shoddy work I picked car back up and it had a leak the next day I was out of town for a week and came back to puddle on driveway. They created the leak but want to charge me to fix it.

I have a 2005 Acura MDX. My engine light came on (steady light) and I brought it in to Express Oil Change as I also needed my tires rotated and asked them to find out why the engine light came on. They did a diagnostic check and reported code P0700-Automatic Transaxle. They suggested I take my car to a shop experienced with transmissions as Express Oil does not have transmission experience. They charged me $75 for the diagnostic test.

I then took the car to AAMCO (Panama City Beach, FL) on 2/17/2023 after making an appointment. They couldn't get to the car until the end of the day and eventually called me to say I need a new transmission at a cost of $7200. They destroyed my vehicle lifting it off the ground with the lift with incorrect placement of the lift pads and bent suspension and dis-lodged my axle sideways. When confronted about it or transmission shop owner stated it was that way when it came in.

I have pictures of it when I was dropped off in front of their shop it was not damaged. When I went to pick it up the axle was twisted sideways and the muffler was hanging down the damage was caused by them lifting it incorrectly with the lift and

it bent the support bars that hold the axle in and dislodged it sideways and they refused to fix it or make it right. The one I am speaking of is aamco on Fairview in Boise Idaho do not go there they will rip you off and destroy your car.

I paid over $5,400 for a remanufactured transmission when stranded in my hometown of Newnan, GA. It got me home to NC, 5 1/2 hours away with a couple of hiccups, but stranded me in town the next trip out of my yard.

AAMCO at 400 Mercer st, hightstown, NJ 08520 had taken about SIX (6) weeks and haven’t even started work on my transmission. Nick here at AAMCO is not only very loud but also very rude, just shouting at the top of his voice all the time asking me to stay outside in the cold until the owner Mark comes in about an hour.

I am not sure what to believe as they keep giving vague answers with no definite ETA and dont even pick up the phone for days until I Ho to the facility to find out

Yeah, I’ve had work done and I’ve tried to be a consistent customer. The first time it was a power train and some other things I paid a total of over $7000 on car work such as to the drivetrain or powertrain and I’m still having trouble now I have to take my car back.

I even have them change my oil they’re trying to say I was low of all the trying to save it now that’s not a warranty that I may need a new engine and I just had this work done like maybe 45 months ago I’ll only drive my car about 2 miles to work and then sometimes on weekends back and forward to church. I don’t understand it.
