We trusted AAMCO with our car, Dec. 9th, to put a new transmission in, it has been 2 months, and we have not received our car as of yet. We started this journey in Bear Delaware, where the Manager/Mechanic, John, stated he was working on the vehicle, and we found out that he never did. He even charged us $500 for dropping our transmission that he never dropped, but told our warranty company that he did. He did not refund our money.
We had our vehicle towed to the AAMCO in Claymont Delaware, where it sits. Took our 2007 GMC Yukon Denali in to have rear main seal and oil pan gasket replaced. $2500 later we picked the car up. 2 weeks later after about 200 miles the low engine oil light came on. Checked the oil and there was absolutely nothing on the dipstick.
Put oil in car and returned it to aamco. Technician checked it and found absolutely no leaks. This means it wasn’t filled to the proper level when i picked it up. They decided to change the oil and put dye in it to hopefully find a leak.
2 weeks after this I decide to check the oil. It is filled 2 inches past the fill line on the dipstick. Now the car smokes terribly and engine oil pressure drops to 10 psi at idle. Never did this before.

I took my vehicle in to have it looked at short time later I received a call that my car after they moved it, rolled into the highway and was hit by another vehicle not only did they charge me for two broken axles when there was only one they said they were giving me a deal, for my inconvenience, but all they did was overcharge me to discount it.

This will be the second complaint filed. This will be the 4th transmission put into my car under 1 warranty. Each time they replace the transmission because it is leaking or not installed properly they keep my car for a month and it has cost me thousands of dollars in a rental car.
This last time I had used all my money for one week of a rental and lost 3 weeks of income and also had to cancel my son's Christmas. These rebuilt transmissions are garbage and the shop owner and manager don't care they are ruining my life.

This company has failed numerous times to replace my transmission correctly, I believe one year it was replaced 2-3 times in the same year then another time November 2021 then again in February of 2022.

I am an Uber Lyft driver who has had my car in for a tear down and repair on a 2018 Chevy Traxx which has 187,000 miles on it. I had left it with the Aaamco Shop in Bradenton, FL on Cortez road in the middle of November.

I took my van to get a diagnostic to Aamco. After the diagnostic was completed, the priced me at $400. I told the rep that I wanted to pay through the loan service and this was also stated before any work was done.
I called my insurance to have my van towed back to my home and Aamco said the balance had to be paid. I told them again how I wanted to pay as we had used that service before with Aamco.
The rep said he would call the store to see what was going on and I never received a call. Later in the evening, I get a call from a tow company called by Aamco saying that they have my van, paid the balance and now we have to pay them.
I did not authorize this all and Aamco never called back. This is deceptive, predatory and wrong on so many levels.

Firstly, what I forgot to mention in my earlier complaint was Courtland's refusal to consider keeping to the schedule he had promised me when I brought my car in for repair on Oct 10, 2022.

James Olsen operates the Aamco on silver spring street in Providence, RI. He test drove my 2010 Subaru Outback and said with out a doubt, the problem was the drive shaft. " I agree to have it replaced for a $795,00 on Sept. 12, 2022.
I paid in full on that day and He ordered the drive shaft. The following week He attempted to replace it, but the new one did not fit. The week after, He installed a different drive shaft and it did not fix the problem of vibration during acceleration in first gear.

Took my truck in because the tranny was making a whining noise. Still operated perfectly. They said they would diagnose it for $1495. So a couple days later I reluctantly agreed to a rebuild. Short story, I get the truck back making the same noise.
They said that noise was normal. I took it to a certified tranny guy who informed me the noise is not normal. I paid aamco $7800 for nothing. This picture was the only proof they had that it needed a rebuild.

I had my vehicle serviced at a location in Wichita Kansas on South Meridian and received bad service. I was overcharged for a service which I requested to be called back on after communication with my warranty service for coverage.
I was not / or did not receive a return call to make any sound decisions before having the service done. They did the job without my 100% okay and charged me over $300 for Freon to complete an evac recharge.
