Basically I got absolutely screwed I got quoted 400 to 800 to rebuild my transfercase at the staugustine aamco my truck ran fine in 2 wheel drive but once they took my t case apart apparently he couldn't rebuild it and he told me he could before hand then he couldn't get it back together so I have been out of a ride for over 3 weeks I'm absolutely irate this company is worthless he should have never accepted the job if he couldn't fix it now my truck is 100% broke it drove fine when I dropped it off now I'm stuck finding a new transfer case someone from corporate needs to contact me asap 9048023460 we have big issues the man even tried to recharge me 300 dollars and

my stuff worked when I took it to him he destroyed it then made me pay for it not cool at all I dont have big money to pay…

If I could give less than 1 I would. I took my car in for what we believe is a clutch problem. The horrible people working there supposedly replaced the clutch. The only other problem was a low tire when we went on.

We were told they could not drive it at first due to dead battery. It had sat during a snow storm so they just replaced the clutch without knowing for sure. Guess what??? My wife ode broke down. With the same problem we took it in with coming home at 1am last night.

Not only that when we brought it home. The clutch and the brakes were making noises. No brake problems when we took it in. This is a horrible location. Now they are giving me problems getting the work done right.

This is our only car they have taken car for week and broke it more than when it went in. I am tired…

I was charged an up front fee for $1485 for tear down and diagnostic work. No receipt was ever given. My extended warranty company paid to have the transmission replaced and was charged for tear down $250 and diagnostic work $62.50. I asked for refund of my deposit and was told that I would not get it.

I submitted a claim under my extended auto warranty policy thru American Auto Shield (AAS) the last week of March 2020. After putting 14,000 miles on a rebuilt transmission it destroyed itself because of faulty workmanship. The work was done by Turnersville AAMCO 4790 Blackhorse Pike. The manager s name Alan. I was told that it was a basic rebuild and did not require a torq converter.

13 done on 7-7-18 with 164,062 miles on the vehicle. At 177,000 miles on the vehicle the transmission began to slip. this is only 1,000 miles over the 12,000 mile warranty. I had taken the vehicle back to Turnersville in hopes they would do the morally right thing and fix their faulty work.

My car was fixed 3 times in the last 6 months. Then overheating teplaced fans & hoses but didnt fill with coolant & broke clip on a knock sensor they called it. Then valve gasket plugs & wires & camshaft sesor again (which was under wartanty but they tried to charge me but fixed it when I brought it to their attention) When they put my fans in they bumped into radiator I put in some radiator stop leak & its ok for now but

Ill probally need a radiator. The people who were there the first time werent there after that. They were honest dont know about others.

Kept my car for over 2 weeks now, waiting on a remanufactured transmission which still hasn't arrived. Won't provide me w/ solid updates, won't even offer any type of compensation for the hundreds of dollars I'm spending on Ubers and cabs just to get to work.

Honestly, I don't know how you can run a business this way, and charging extremely high prices like 5,200 dollars for a remanufactured trans. This company doesn't care about its customers at all.

Worst customer service experience ever at the Amcoo Transmition in Omaha Nebraska off 60th and L St. I first took my car in to get fixed on January 10th 2021 to get a Transmition put in. Paid over $3000 was going to get the reminder what was need to be fixed in the next week or so When I have additional funds to do so.

I got my car back in by January 21 you're still acting up like nothing has been fixed I contacted Jay (the agent that works the front counter on the 21st. Jay said he was busy and would contact me the next day with prices.

The next day came and went with no contact. I waited until January 23rd (again no contact from the 21st) to see AGAIN what it would cost to fix the solenoids! Yet again no response! Reached out again on January 24th.

I first contacted and went into Aamco around December 22th of 2019 because I was having transmission issues. I was told that my car would need a rebuilt or replaced transmission which totaled around $2700. In this time frame I was unable to work or have any income because I had no vehicle.

I eventually had to rent a vehicle, spending over $700 for it. That work was complete on the car around January 29th and the manager suggested that I need a new rack & pinion assembly which totaled around an additional $1100.

I authorized both services to be completed by the shop. Around Feb 3rd, I was notified that both services are complete. When I got the car back I noticed that it was tough for me to turn and the alignment was off, and I immediately notified the shop and told them my concerns.

I drove my 1999 Toyota Tacoma truck in to remove the bolt from the main crank shaft. (Harmonic balancer). The rep there said that they would have to bore out the bolt in order to complete the repair. The truck was there for several days and was unable to address the issue and my car had to be towed from the location and is now inoperable.

The pieces that were removed were placed in my truck bed.

No point of putting a complaint online to actual store and I spoke to manager there already. These places among others will try to play reverse psychology on you if you let them. I went there to get a oil change only(nothing else).

I might not be always clear but I did mention I wanted the blend oil(full) and I was told the price was gonna be about $58 so I was fine with that and made the appointment. This is at the New Windsor store in NY.

So I was there by my appointment time. I had to wait. ) and all of a sudden the guy told me I needed a new oil pan and gasket and showed me. I already had work done recently and did have leaks due to a radiator that was already installed.

I had warranty work done and I didnt even get all the way home before I sprung a leak at first I thought maybe pan gasket cause 3 bolts were missing from pan but its pouring out and higher than pan called the manAger where it was serviced and they deny any fault and expect me to pay for another tow I am a single dad of 3 with a zero income do to medical reasons no way i can pay for a tow t,they did offer to pay half but

I have had TWO vehicles at my Cocoa AAMCO recently for transmission rebuilding, a 2005 Ford Expedition and a 2013 Ford Taurus. The Taurus has been at the shop for going on THREE WEEKS! The manager, Edwin, has called me several times about his having problems with the TORQUE CONVERTER on the Taurus, saying he got defective units from his supplier.

That is just one of the excuses that I have gotten from Edwin about why the job has not been completed. Others ranged from complicated transmission to other problems. I believe that three weeks is ample time to rebuild the transmission with competent mechanics and that I am getting needless excuses otherwise.

Without my Taurus I am stranded at my home (my wife uses the Expedition to travel to work) and feel that I am getting the “runaround” from…

Went to AAMCO in Canoga Park ,CA Shop recommended rebuilt transmission which I ordered. Transmission was installed 5/16/ 19 in Canoga Park,CA shop. Went back because I noticed a leak. This ford expedition 2004 is my work vehicle , Went back on 6/7/19 and had a second transmission installed .

Same issue with second unit leaking from the torque converter. In the interim the Canoga Park Shop Location has closed. Contacted the shop in Reseda , CA and the Owner told me I had to take it to the original shops other location (60 miles form my home In Oxnard,CA) which is not correct according to the warranty.

Wife had transmission rebuilt for a 2006 Chevy Suburban. From day one we had problems worse than why we took car in from the beginning. Got the 18 month warranty believing if any issues, they would be resolved since this is a shop that specializes in this field.

In 18 months we took car back four times, and had 6-7 phone calls.

Finally on a recent trip to Mammoth for the holiday. Car gave out at 0330 on highway 395. Got car towed to a mechanic in Lone Pine, where we ended up having to junk car and find a rental to get our kids back home.

Prior to junking car we called AAMCO and they stated they could not do anything because car was out of warranty (recently mind you) and they had nobody that could check it out that far away. Tow Truck wanted $1800-$2100 to tow back to our home.…

The service station in Evergreen Colorado rebuild my transmission and during that time they have an over infestation of rats at that shop the rats chewed up my wiring caused all kinds of damage and the only thing that was wrong with my jeep was the transmission after I brought it home there was leaks everywhere it was losing power and now they are making me pay for it when it was their fault I am highly upset and

when I first went in they said a day and a half then pushed it to 5 now we're going on 8 and if it's not done today 9 to 10 how do they expect people to be without their cars for that long? if it can't be done in the time they say don't say that time in the first place.

I would have gone somewhere else. They say they'll call to let you know what's going on but of course they don't and I end up having to call to get answers (which were incorrect anyways) and they seem annoyed.

I am filing this complaint due to horrible service from your service shop at 17920 SE McLoughlin Blvd, Milwaukie, OR 97267.

This is the second time I have been to this location in the past 3 months, and in both cases the office manager was extremely rude. From the moment my wife and I walked in to the office. #1 He was texting on his personal cell phone, and watching videos on the pc in the office. Which seemed a bit out of place. Never welcomed us in or even stood up from his chair. The first thing he said was, can you close the door behind you, its cold in here. We did and he said "what do you need?" Company vehicle from Optimum was delivered for transmission issues to the Pearl River , NY Garage. The garage had the vehicle for 2 weeks and then release it back to Optimum. 2 days later the transmitsison failed again. This was the same issue the vehicle went in the first place.

The vehicle has been there now for at least 3 weeks. Everytime we call we get the same response " We just took the transmission out and looking into it" this is unacceptable. Pearl Riveer garage says they will call back but never do and they dont have any new info.

Took my truck to get a smoke test for evap leek, only to here my brake line was broke. It was either broke we they put it on the lift or cut on purpose to get a larger sale. My brakes were fine upon arrival.

I now had an undrivable truck. I had to leave it over night. Next day I called, Lee said still working on it call me in an hour, shop closes at noon, went up at noon. Lee showed me brake line, clearly it was cut in the shop, clean cut. Lee was so unprofessional.

I tried to understand how we went from evap to brake lines. Lee said and I quote " if I don't understand rust we cant have a conversation". " I'll get the damn thing fixed and get it the hell out of here".

I had my 2005 BMW 525I transmission re- built at the AAMCO in Concord, NC in March 2019- Ben Carson is the owner. I took the car back multiple times due to not shifting into 1st gear- when you at a stop and pulling off.

I took my car for second opinion and they took me it was the torque converter. I took it back to the AMMCO and they agreed- stating it was a defected part and they was going to reach out to the company for replacement.

I called multiple of times- no answer or the part is not in. it has been 4 weeks and has heard from them. My warranty company paid them and it is nothing they can do. I'm requesting compensation to replace the torque converter with another company.

I had the transmission for my 2006 for Ford Mustang rebuilt by Aamco. When I started having issues. They were very rude and dismissive. They kept the car for 10 days and said there were no issues found. The clutch is still slipping and it almost stalls out at intersections. Not safe!

The issue is getting worse. I dont want to drive it anymore. I just want it fixed. There is a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. The AAMCO shop is on Lomas street in Albuquerque, Nm. I'm military and it is my only source of transportation.

I brought my van into the location of 4700 S. Halsted in Chicago and was this was the worst experience that I ever had... They did work on my vehicle that I didn't authorize. They didn't even call me to ask if I wanted it fixed.

Slow service on the repair of our vehicle- 4 MONTHS. Hello gentlemen, I would like to complain about the EXTREMELY slow service and lack of response I've gotten from your location here in Lexington, SC. The address is: 520 North Lake Dr. Lexington, SC 29072.

My 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 was taken to an Aamco center in February 2019. The reason was a very hard shift at about 40 mph and occasionally at about 20 mph. It took several weeks, but just about every major part in the transmission was replaced (the bill was nearly $4,000 which was split between myself and the car dealership I purchased the truck from).

I was told by Aamco that there was about a 1,000-mile break-in period. The hard shift was still there from the moment I picked up the truck until well after 1,000 miles. It then developed a whine. It was taken back during the spring and told about the hard shift and the whine.

This is the 3rd time changing the compresson for failure and they changed the condensor. But right after i left the shop my car broke down from where they worked on it and didn’t connect the lines correctly and my car threw out all the transmission fluid.

They said all they can do is wash my car and clean the fluid inside. But not until tuesday and today is friday. Cmon what type of service is this.

We took our 1999 Dodge Durango to AAMCO in 2006 Citrus Heights, CA. To get work done to transmission. It was a lifetime warranty. Now we live in Saint Augustine, FL. and we took our Durango in to the AAMCO place here to get transmission leak fixed.

My 2004 f150 4x4 went to Aamco transmission in Merrillville Indiana Monday 8-19-2019 was told my truck would be completed by 8-23-2019 and they didnt even started working on it so Saturday 8-24-2019 they called us back and said it would be completed by Monday 8-26-2019 and said I will have a $200 dollar discount and they will wave the tow fee as well..

My car is VW jetta 2004 keeps on breakng down. It took them at first 2 months to be fixed and i paid 3500 $ , then it broke down again and took them 2 weeks again, then it broke down for the third time and

i had to towing the car and pay 360 $ to reach their place in route 18 to be fixed again and now i am trying to call them and they do not even pick up the phone. Now i need a solution for this!

Transmission went out on the way to Florida on vacation so I got everybody on the ball and ammco in Orlando Florida got it put in and working but, they couldn’t get bolts out of my right side manifold to drop exhaust so they cut the Y pipe to do job, but while they were trying to get bolts out of manifold they screwed up manifold gasket, it was leaking pretty bad, manager told me don’t worry it’s all under warranty and

This is my second complaint. Aamco in Aurora colorado has had my car for 2 months now and I've had nothing but trouble. They even sent it home with none of the work done on it. That was 3 weeks ago.

Since they have forgotten they still have the car and have told me for a week now it will be done the following day. Just drove an hour to get it because they promised it would be done and it's still not done. I am livid.

This is the second transmission they're putting in it because the first failed. I was told it was a brand new transmission only to find out it was rebuilt. The car was with the dealership for 3 months being worked on by aamco so that makes it 5 months all together that aamco has been screwing me over.

I have been an AAMCO customer since March (2019), I would like for you to know that I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had at your AAMCO location in Bloomfield NJ. Back in March of this year I took my car to AAMCO in Bloomfield because it needed to be serviced. I brought my 2011 Chevy Equinox to the 595 Coffeen St Watertown, NY 13601 AAMCO shop 02/18/19. I told them I wanted my transmission checked because it was slipping in 3rd and 5th gear. They said they did an external diagnostic test and it was a computer problem, not a transmission problem.

They flushed my transmission, without my authorization, and said the cost of the flush will be credited back to me "toward the cost of a rebuild if trans problem persists". It would have cost me a couple hundred or possibly 1-2K to repair the damage at that point.

But, because the AAMCO shop sent me on my way, insisting it was the computer, my car broke down 7/22/19, on the side of I-81 in PA at 1am in the rain with my son asleep in the back seat. 3K for a used transmission.

Poor service delivery dates moved 5 different day's promises not met. Agreed to service and they were paid on 7/22/19. I have an getting the run around ever since. Said it would fixed by 7/25 then the 27th, then the 30th, then 31at and now it is August 1st. They keep saying. "Almost done".

You don't stand behind your work. I took my car in to AAMCO 377 KELLER drive Ft Worth, Tx. because it was stopping in traffic and going dead turns. I paid them almost 1500 to fix it. 00 more dollars

A transmission job done in April , Aamco in Bridgewater. paid over $3000. About 2 weeks after heard rattling. Took it back they said it was exhaust. This problem was fixed by someone else still heard rattling, Went to Super Tool in New Brunswick June, screws and bolts missing fly wheel was messed up.

This mechanic at Super Tool (George)called the Aamco Bridgewater, New Jerswy where the original work was done. , Aamco ended up replacing fly wheel. I had went less then block from shop Had to bring it rt back to shop same day.

Come to find out hole in radiator. Which was not done by me. Aamco replaced radiator, Took over a week. Picked it up 7/16/19. Took a test drive thru town 35miles speed limit, by myself. He refused to go with, It was fine.

We recently took vehicle to be fixed for Tensior and belt replacement. I purchased a belt mechanic stated it was too big. They ordered another belt and completed the work. Now less than a month after the work has been completed the same exact issue has happened the belt is off and the vehicle is not operable.

We had the van towed back to this location that completed the service. m. and they have not took the time to even look at vehicle even after I called this morning. They will be closing at 5:30 for the weekend.

We need the vehicle looked and fixed. The man on the phone has been very rude and disrespectful his name is Rob. I would like to speak with a corporate manager ASAP. We did not experience this issue when we originally took the van to be fixed.

my 2013 jeep grand cherokee has been iin the Aurora Co Aamco Transmission shop for over two and a half months , I was underminded to believe that my truck needed work that could have been paid for by creditors that i knew very well i didn't qualify for by the owner of this shop. Ireguardless of the unethical practices this place of business uses to praying of this community i was forced to hustle up the 4,400 to pay for the work which took some time as i have other obligations as well kids bills etc.

and once i finally got my Jeep back three days later same issues and its stalled on me on the highway i told these guys about these issues prior but they told me the trans was re-proograming its self, and now my Jeeps been back at this shop sitting with promises that it'll be fixed in a…

My name is James Colvin and I took my F150 truck to the aamco transmission at 3454 Sheridan Drive for what I thought was transmission problems.. I dropped it off June 30 and got a call from Dwayne the next day tell me it wasn’t the Transmission..

Dwayne told me it was number three cylinder ignition coil. 23. So I caught the bus there July 1. 1 Miles from my house. Soon as I get there, I paid and took the truck to drive home. Halfway home it’s still driving the same way it was before I dropped it off..

I called Dwayne right away to him, he tells me to bring it back in the morning. I decided to take it back then because I didn’t know how I was going to get back home from taking it to him the next day...
