Now without a vehicle for over 3 months. $3500 and a weekend was the original agreement. The truck was picked up in worse condition. I get it the truck is old with no history. After another diagnose it was found out the engine was shot.

The shop quoted $2000 for a rebuild, again approved. The shop stated it ate some of the cost for the repair but stayed to the quote. After three months the truck was running and me doubting. A 1995 1500 rolled up to emissions only to have it not pass.

The emission shop advise to take the truck to the repair shop. Where after a few weeks was taken to another shop. After some diagnose a $1300 repair was quoted. Now the vehicle is ready with a price of $2100 to be released.

I brought my truck to AAMCO in San Rafael, CA. All I wanted was to have my transmission fluid changed. I had no issues, everything was working great. I had just changed the oil, replaced the radiator but I don't have the equipment to do the transmission fluid since it is a sealed transmission.

It's a 2007 Ford sportrac. I went to your website and I was impressed with it. I could have my fluid changed and it looked like your diagnostic service covered everything. The guys in San Rafael were nice and explained they do the diagnostic before they do any work and it was free.

Took my car last year for transmission problems. Bill was over a 1,000 dollars and they didn’t fix the problem. I’ve taken my car back ten times and they keep saying there’s no problem. If there was no problem why am I here?

Brought my car in to clear check engine light and was the knock sensor.. they change the knock sensor then my transmission went down. I even requested to change my transmission fluid. Soon after my knock sensor triggered the check engine light again.

Then they recommended me to change cars computer unit and charged me again for that,they’ve been giving me this for almost 1 year now. Car is still at the shop. They said now it is the crankshaft.

Had to return my car on three separate occasions for the same minor repair to fix my right front door window. The manager and technician were not knowledgeable of the problem. I took my 2017 tahoe in 3 weeks ago. 50. I have an extended warranty, so I have been constantly playing back and forth with both companies. My extended warranty company, Continental, approved charges yet Aamco said I would still have to pay $1200 out of pocket for a programming fee and cooler flush.

And my aamco advisor keeps trying to push thru a diag fee even though he has continually said if the work is done, the diag fee is waived. Yet he keeps putting it on invoice to warranty company. On top of that, warranty co says he spoke to advisor 4 days ago but when I spoke to advisor he claimed he never heard from them.

Really wish they allowed for negative stars as this location deserves to be out of business. My son took his truck to have the coolant flushed because of a radiator leak. They also said that both the trans and coolant should be flushed and we said ok, then they had to do a diagnostic first but my son was told they would still do the flush.

Really only wanted to coolant flush but they said it would be better to do both. 2 days later, after numerous calls, we are told they will not do the flushes. we are told that the trans flush won't help, which I didn't want in the first place and that they did not have time to do the coolant flush.

But they had time to charge us for the diagnostic, which since they refused to do the work we should not have to pay for. Seriously I should have read all…

My truck has been in the shop going on 9 months 9 months they have told me 3 different times that the repairs have been fixed and every time I drive at home it is not fixed one time they sent me home with no oil in the engine and it almost locked up on me, they still cannot tell me what is wrong with my pick up or how they are going to fix it. I have already paid close to $4000 to fix an issue that 9 months later still has not been fixed.

I had Ammco diagnostic my car. The result was my cvt transmission. The owner guaranteed verbally to my husband & i he will get my car's transmission rebuilt & fixed. Return my car 4 times. Every time I got it back.

Regarding location in independence Missouri on Lees Summit Road, near the corner of E. 23rd St. They seem to be short of help with a number of vehicles they have to service. I think my Val cover gasket was put on in such a hurry that it was either done incorrectly or had the wrong part.

I drove home and had an oil leak in my garage and on the street and it ruined my weekend. I cried often on Saturday and Sunday and into Monday. Thinking that I needed a new car, I withdrew thousands of dollars from the bank before I was told on Monday to bring it back on Thursday morning to have it looked at.

Initially I was told I need it over $1000 worth of work on a 96J prison, which I was not ready to do. I would rather live a newer vehicle and never have to walk into a repair shop again.

on 5-21-21 we were told the fastest way to get back on the road was to get a remanufactured because he was so busy. 00. 45. the trans was no good so ordered another. it came in 2 wks ago and we are still waiting I just got off phone with George the owner and was told he would try to get to it this wk.

I took my 2000 Ford F-250 in for a transmission leak around the pump housing. I was told by the owner of the aamco in spring tx it needed a new trans pan gasket and trans pan. I was also told the fill tub needed to be replaced.

I did again tell the owner I saw the leak coming from the pump housing area of the transmission. He told me know that was not the case and that it was the gasket and pan and fill tube. I authorized the repair per his direction at 1200+ dollars.

I picked up the truck and then drove it with my trailer to just outside San Antonio. I didn’t even make it 100 miles and had transmission fluid leaking everywhere. I called him and he said to check the dipstick and watch the fluid.

I cont down the road and got to my destination. When I got there the truck was again leaking…

My wife’s vehicle transmission went down and we went to Aamco located on Route 38 in Pennsauken, NJ. We spoke to a young lady and she advised us that the job would take a week and we should get our car back.

A week went bye and the young lady advised us that the one mechanic they have was finishing a vehicle he was working prior to our car being brought in. The second week we called and the same young lady advised us that they waiting for the parts to start working on the vehicle.

The third she was used us that the mechanic had put the transmission but could not locate the screws that went to the transmission. While the young lady was calling us a second person named Luke Huffman was explaining while it was taking so long to get the vehicle fixed.

I’ve been dealing wit Aamco since January 29th 2021 I left my car cause the car was making noise in the transmission everything I changed gears so I took it to them the car was there for like a month and a half when I received the car back a transmission line was leaking an the one of the bolts from the car was never put on n the other bolt was not tightened correctly.

After a week from the car sitting there since Aamco had told me they was getting a towing truck to pick up my car they never did I paid someone to replace the bolt and tighten both bolts correctly and fix my abs line that was also cut from the strut coming off I almost lost my life the first time after I took it back they told me that they could not replace the line since it was not in the warranty fine I took the car back…

Around 7/8 I left my toyota rav 4 at aamco shop in bristol pa to rebuild transmission . The estiment was between $ 3700-4200 . After they took transmission out they demented $1000 more. I got my car back on 7/22 and paid $5533 .

Next day I notice fluid leak. I look under the car . I notice broken bolt that keeps transmission and transfer case together. Fluid was leaking from transfer case looks like they didn't properly line up transmission and transfer case try to pull together with bolt and broke bolt and damage seal On transfer case On 7/26 I returned car to that shop to fix what they broke.

Today is 8/7 and after about 10 phone calls nothing happened . Need help 215 208 2363

I was told my transmission was repaired and 20 minutes later the car stopped at the red light. I had to get it towed. I paid $2,400. I continue to be told that I will receive a call and they never call me.

I have to always call them. I was told my car will be repaired in 3 days and it took two weeks for me to find out that it wasn't repaired. I have a 2008 Nissan Sentra. 07/07/2021 It is still there.

46 A friend of mine was called to let him know if it was ok to do the work because he was paying for it on credit card . I took it in on Thursday to let them know the A/C not cold they checked it out and said they found a leak in hose that goes from the compressor to the condenser something like that the A/C hose assembly said is gonna cost Same as last time 3 days prior..

I’ve taken my truck 5 times to get my transmission rebuilt, each time they taken a week or two , but this last time it’s going on a month, I left it on June 4,they still have my truck , the manger tried to blame me every time my transmission broke or whatever the case was . He even called me on his personal phone saying why does this keeping happening and that it’s kinda suspicious?

My car has been at this location for 29 days with no sight of completion. Every time I find something out about my car I’ve had to be the one that calls the shop, absolutely 0 communication. They have taken my car to another location without my knowledge.

My car has been in the shop since April. I have been calling the shop constantly up until 3 weeks ago. They were supposed to be fixing my transmission on my car which was supposed to be fixed already. I have been getting the run around.

I was told the part was coming in on several occasions to finally it's on back order. No one has called or kept me informed on anything going on with the car. I have to call them and feel like I'm botheing them when I do.

I spoke with the Aamco manager Mike Ducula who did not even listen to my complaint. I was rushed off the phone. I was told he would find out what was going on and call me back. That was three weeks ago as of today.

I have called him twice this week. No answer. I would like a refund at this point.

I took my truck to aamco to get my transmission rebuilt. I've since taken it back to them 3 times for the same issue. Each time they say the fixed the issue. The last time I paid for a computer to be put in the truck.

After riding a couple more months my truck is now sitting in my yard. Starts yet will not move. I paid them to much of my hard earned money to rebuild my transmission only to have it sitting in my driveway for transmission issues.

I would like for my transmission to be fixed without me having to pour more money into something that could've been avoided had the really fixed the transmission the first time.

I had my car towed to aamco in Winter Haven Florida 24 days ago from the writing of this..... so I thought I would get better service then a small local shop even if the price was higher, plus the work comes with a warranty.

why should I get the codes when that's part of diagnosis? I got the code (it was a code that put thr car in limp mode to protect the car). m on 4/14. I never received that call. I waited until the following week on Tuesday to call.

I talked to the same gentleman (who I believe is the owner of that franchise). no call (its starts to be pattern at this point). he said it could go up to another $800. I was told they wouldn't know or even work on it until the transmission was out and done.

When I towed my car to get it diagnosis I was estimated, 130 for total fix. Upon post contact with service person"Todd", I was told my car engine was ,quote unquote, shot! I didn't want to believe this diagnosis because my car had just been given a tuneup an oil change.

No symptoms of a problem engine. Even after his diagnosis of a "shot" engine he continued to try and charge me more than the 80$ diagnosis to a 130$ one. I'm distraught also because I requested him to solve the problem and he told me I just didn't wanna believe the engine was shot.

I would like to notify AAMCO that if this isn't resolved with the sum of 6000 or the total refix or my vehicle, I will bring upon the corporation a lawsuit. Thank you in advance.

A 1 star rating is still too generous! Aamaco is a crock! Do not and I repeat do not take your car here! I took my car in for transmission repairs on February 5th and have had to take it back to them now 3 times because the car still wasn’t running correctly/fixed.

They charged me over $3800 and it’s been 2 months and as of today they still have my car. This car is my only means of transportation and I use it for work as a driver. I have now lost 2 months wages and every time I try to contact them to get an update and find out anything about my car they don’t answer the phone.

I have no been able to reach their corporate office either. Aamaco in Pantego.

Hi took in my 1968 Mustang And wanted to pick it up running I told Robert at the 60th and L location in Omaha Nebraska that information and he charged me $1100 to Get that work taken care of and He gave me back my car in not running condition

I told him I wanted transmission cooler lines Installed, hook up shifting linkeage, install my driveshaft, change out my torque converter (because he advised me to do it because you can't take them apart and inspect them)

Aamco Vallejo scratched my car badly on the hood ,roof and front quarter panel k Keller told me to get an estimate and they would take care of it ,James had other plans to fix it and tried to blend in a couple scratches which I could still see this is on top of bad work they did replacing my tie rods the same popping sound was happening again and

Removed and Replaced Differential case, not done completely Motor mounts to be replaced, were not but we were billed

A new Ford Engine was to be installed and a used engine was installed without our consent.

Too many things to list. I have extensive bills and rental car bills.

The vehicle was in their care for weeks and weeks and he would not return our calls and would push us off. This vehicle is my elderly mother-in-laws. During this fight with Danny to do what he was hired to do, my father-in-law dies of covid in the hospital or we would have made this complaint sooner. My Mother in law is just devastated. Store 1592 in denver, co on colfax had my vehicle from end of Feb until mid March. The car went in reading code P00012 and they said it was transmission, thermostat, alternator and camshaft value sensor. They had car almost one month with no regular updates or anything me calling several days nothing.

Then the car was ready and complete as of mid March. Had the car two days engine light came on same code reading p00012 they towed it back. 29. After warranty the first time paid them out 4700 and never once did they mention these wrong with the vehicle.

If I could give less than 1 I would. I took my car in for what we believe is a clutch problem. The horrible people working there supposedly replaced the clutch. The only other problem was a low tire when we went on.

We were told they could not drive it at first due to dead battery. It had sat during a snow storm so they just replaced the clutch without knowing for sure. Guess what??? My wife ode broke down. With the same problem we took it in with coming home at 1am last night.

Not only that when we brought it home. The clutch and the brakes were making noises. No brake problems when we took it in. This is a horrible location. Now they are giving me problems getting the work done right.

This is our only car they have taken car for week and broke it more than when it went in. I am tired…

I was charged an up front fee for $1485 for tear down and diagnostic work. No receipt was ever given. My extended warranty company paid to have the transmission replaced and was charged for tear down $250 and diagnostic work $62.50. I asked for refund of my deposit and was told that I would not get it.

I submitted a claim under my extended auto warranty policy thru American Auto Shield (AAS) the last week of March 2020. After putting 14,000 miles on a rebuilt transmission it destroyed itself because of faulty workmanship. The work was done by Turnersville AAMCO 4790 Blackhorse Pike. The manager s name Alan. I was told that it was a basic rebuild and did not require a torq converter.

13 done on 7-7-18 with 164,062 miles on the vehicle. At 177,000 miles on the vehicle the transmission began to slip. this is only 1,000 miles over the 12,000 mile warranty. I had taken the vehicle back to Turnersville in hopes they would do the morally right thing and fix their faulty work.

My car was fixed 3 times in the last 6 months. Then overheating teplaced fans & hoses but didnt fill with coolant & broke clip on a knock sensor they called it. Then valve gasket plugs & wires & camshaft sesor again (which was under wartanty but they tried to charge me but fixed it when I brought it to their attention) When they put my fans in they bumped into radiator I put in some radiator stop leak & its ok for now but

Ill probally need a radiator. The people who were there the first time werent there after that. They were honest dont know about others.
