I was an employee with advanced and had some personal stuff going on in my life and missed a few days of work, but I was a very hard worker and the ONLY ONE WHO WOULD CLEAN AND KEEP THE STORE LOOKING DECENT. So I got let go after working my full scheduled day, but they have young kids who smoke THC while on the job and even had a customer make a comment about them smelling like marijuana and the GM did NOTHING.

THESE PEOPLE ARE KEY HOLDERS AND STEAL FROM THE STORE ALL THE TIME. SO ILL TAKE MY HARD WORK AND PUT IT INTO A COMPANY THAT CARES ABOUT PEOPLE AS WELL AS THE COMPANY! AND THE GM THEY HAVE RUNNING THE STORE NOW HAS A SIGNIFICANT OTHER WHO COMES IN A DRINKS BEER WHILE BEHIND THE COUNTER WHILE HIS WOMAN IS WORKING .

I purchased a (battery-SILVER ATO 12181197) (online-order #337540625) and picked it up from a Houston store (store #8408, 15910 Wallisville Rd) October 14,2023. 2023 to ask to purchase a more amp battery for my SUV. The Manager (Keith, w/m) stated I would have to purchase a new battery at full price.

I asked if I can return battery for refund or partial credit, he told me no since its a good battery. I asked if I can upgrade and pay difference and he stated "NO" again. I told him the dealership advised me I needed a better amp battery for my SUV.

Went to Advance Auto on 9/30 to exchange a bad ignition coil that I had purchased in 7/23 that was under warranty. I was told that I could not exchange part since I ordered it online that I could only be refunded the money and I would have to purchase a new ignition coil.

I said I paid online but picked up in store and I should be allowed to exchange the part because it's under warranty. I was told no company policy. I asked to see policy but couldn't show me. I told him that if this was the way things were at Advance then I'll never be back and his reply was I don't care.

I went to AutoZone and purchased a new ignition coil and was treated with respect. My return receipt has Ash B as the name on it.

I ordered 3 parts on Sept 16th. Confirmation email said delivery in 3-4 working days. Two of the parts arrived 6 working days later with the 3rd part not even shipped yet. Called CS, they said they couldn't do anything as it was a warehouse order. I asked to cancel.

They said they couldn't as it may be in process. Gave it two more days, now 8 working days from order, still no email saying it was shipped or cancelled. Called again and the rep gave the same answer, there was nothing he could do as it was the warehouse.

Really poor service when an item hasn't been shipped in 8 days, 4-5 days after delivery was promised. Even poorer service/ system if your reps can't check on the status or do anything about it. Case # 03932968 if anybody cares.

I'll be contacting my cc company to dispute…

We went to buy a battery from one of your stores. 99 the manager refused to give us the difference, rudely telling us that no matter what the tag said the computer was right and he wasn't and didn't refund the difference.

Now we are very upset and feel that with managers like that we will bring our business elsewhere to another auto store. This price should have been matched as not only was this this price on your shelf but as well was told by two other of your stores that the manager working should have honor the shelf price.

I purchased a battery from Savannah stor e around 2018 it was a diehard silver. For my 1993 Chevy truck that is not a daily driver. The battery lasted a little while and the went bad and I took it back to store and they replaced it.

It has been fine up till last weekend I was going to car show and went start my truck and it wouldn’t crank I took the battery off and took to store and they would not honor it Has a date sticker on side of 1/22 they said cause it was a replacement battery they couldn’t honor it because the warranty goes back to original battery and

it was out of date. I feel this is not right. I have tried attaching image of battery and it will not let me attach them. Please help me with this. Thank you.

I never have submitted a complaint to anyone about any employee but after 50 years someone was finally so rude I was compelled. I walked into the advanced auto store #9580 at 845 pm Friday September 15th 2023 to exchange a belt i had bought only 2 hrs earlier for another size.

The first register was occupied by a customer and being helped by an employee. I noticed another employee, Moe was walking towards the other register o I walked towards him and he turned looked at me and said you are going to have to wait for the other register.

It startled me because he said it like I had been imposing on him and he was at his witts end. It was in a tone like he was scolding a child.. But I had only entered the store and walked straight towards the second register when i had seen him walk there…

Was in your store on rt 37 in TomsRiver nj today an a man named I believe Mike from what mother employer said when they were getting his attention was talking to another coustomer about his displeasure of another I ploy ers health issues including his hospitalization and health issues allomg with the attendance at work I don’t know if this man was a manager or what but I was applied of this interaction along with having to listen to his rant to another person customer about such topic or issues is this a regular practic in your company.

Female senior citizen had serious power steering fluid leak purchased large quantity of power steering fluid gallon to be precise. Requested young man put some into car for me refused yet saw same employee waiting on young female prior to myself actually put two quarts of oil into her car which was parked directly next to mine.

Perhaps my age was a factor, perhaps it was my chest size I don't know but it was blatant and quite discrimitory. Never had such an experience. Returned purchase to a different store I was so embarrassed and frankly sad.

I visited the Mankato advance auto parts store on Labor Day September for 2023 to return some parts that I had gotten. I paid cash but I had my receipt. Dave was the guy who helped me. And he ended up keeping my parts and my receipt and not giving me my money back because somebody called and said, if the parts were returned, they were stolen even though I clearly was the person that bought them three days prior and

the guy that was working was standing right there and said and did nothing. I am five filing a police report. Very poor customer service, rude I don’t recommend anybody buy anything from advance auto in Mankato.

I asked employee Luis, if he knew anything about electronics,he replied No. I stated that my vehicle rear camera and radio/ Navigation system was out, and asked if he could test to see if the problem was a fuse. He replied with due to store policy he couldn't test, and to check owners manual.

I informed him that due to traumatic Brain Injury, I couldn't read the correctly and if he would help buying ithe right fuse if I provided the diagram in the manual. He again replied it's against company policy. I have never been to an auto store that didn't provide any help in the manner that he gave.

Not sure if he was having a bad day or discrimination. But I will find an AutoZone next time.

Our van would not go into gear while parked at this location . After speaking with the employees we were informed they could not order the part needed to repair it. We spoke with employee on duty and asked if the vehicle could stay in the parking lot while we waited for the part. We were told it would be fine even though there is a policy that a vehicle will be towed after 48 hours. The manager called and had the vehicle towed which will cost us 250.00 to get out . I bought an AC pressure switch from your Waycross Ga. Memorial Dr. location. I didn't have the old one to compare it to. It was wrong one. No biggie. Took the old one back for comparison. They said they have it in Blackshear Ga. location.

They called and said I need you to put your hand on the part, someone is coming to pick it up. Got the confirmation and drove there. Got there and they had no clue where it was at. Was then told they have it at Waycross Ga. State St. location.

Just went to the Advanced Auto Parts in Lithonia right off Covington HWY to get a replacement air filter. The first lady who was assisting me was helpful, but then she went and brought out this older man to look at my engine and he was completely gross and inappropriate.

I went to Advance Auto Parts, 15579 NW US Hwy 441, Alachua, FL 32615, Store #09122, on 8/5/23 to purchase an alternator for my truck. I told the clerk, Devon N. #8260, that I wanted the least expensive new AC Delco alternator that fit my truck, it did not have to be in stock.

He said the alternator would be apx. $200 and would be there in a day or two. He never asked about the electrical connector to the alternator, how many wires did it have, and I told him the truck was there if they needed to look at anything.

So the alternator that came in had the wrong connector, which could have been avoided if they had just gone out and looked at it. So we had to order another one. At this point Shannon C. #0405 took over the purchase. The date was 8/12/23.

I went there and gave them my car make model and year and told them I needed an alternator and they gave me one little did I know there was two types one was the 70 amp and one was a 75 amp they did not give me a choice and just gave me the 70 amp I brought it to my friend to put it in and he assumed that I had gotten the correct alternator.

I did not after an hour of taking out the old one and putting in the new one he realized it did not fit when I called the advance Auto store in Oneonta the gentleman was very rude he was the manager there it was July 15th at about 1:00 he wants me to pay an additional $10 for there and I refuse to I want to do an even exchange.

What he said to me is there anything else I could do for you he just missed me rudely and I am not appreciative of that

I wanted to change my brake pads and rotors for my Honda Civic. So I went to Advance auto in San Leandro California for parts. I bought two rotors and four brake pads.

When I got the parts I told the salesperson that I wanted to open the boxes of the rotors to make sure that they are the same since one looked to be already opened and it was closed with scotch tapes. He said that I did not need to do that because they were always sure about giving the right parts to customers. I went home and started to do the job on my Honda. I put my car on the stands and took the tires and rotors of the car. Then I started to put back the new ones. When I opened the rotor boxes I noticed that they were not the same. 00 blue top battery while on a fishing trip In NY. When I got home from the trip I always pull my batteries and put them on my wooden bench in the garage. When I did this I realized the battery was from 2021.

I bought this June of 2023. So I went to take it back to my local Advance Auto and I was told and I Quote…. “ Looks like your shit out of luck because we don’t have one and there is none in the area.

Hello , I ordered 2 moog tie rod ends , when they came in ( because the store had nothing in stock) they shipped one moog and one different brand of much lower quality and no grease fitting on the ball . They told me they could not order another near by or help me in any way as.

That’s was all they had. They told me they had a lifetime warranty, how can I have a lifetime warranty when the part they sold me does not match the part I paid for?

Also why did I not get a discount on a lower quality part? I was in a jam and needed the tie rod to make my vehicle safe. But now it will not last as long as the higher quality part on the other side .

I purchased 2 bottles of Armor All spray which was on sale 2/$12. I grabbed 2 of the same one and wanted one of the high gloss SKU’s. I went back next day (today) and wanted to just trade it (same price) the associate told me he couldn’t do it without charging me again and I would probably have to pay a little because I only had brought back one bottle.??

I was near the Edgewater Drive & Lee Rd store yesterday. I needed some Antifreeze for my wife's car. I'm a Senior citizen , plus a Prostate cancer survivor. I needed to quickly find a restroom. As politely & discretely as I could I asked one of the employees if I could use their restroom.

He immediately shot back that it was out of order so No I couldn't. One customer gave me the look of disbelief. I didn't believe it either. To many employees work there to not having it workable. I'm a repeat customer, but will think twice before I return here.

I replaced my brake pads at my local store in Pueblo Colorado 2015 Hudson Pueblo Colorado. When I bought my pads they said lifetime warranty however when I brought my brake pads back with my original receipt the clerk John said no warranty only limited now ,what a crock!.John said only on the more expensive pads are they lifetime. Was almost physically confronted but verbally abused by an employee. This employee was not a party to the conversation between myself and Manager; Sheena King ( store9280, 1471 N SR 21, Monroeville,AL, 251-575-1963)) concerning warranty information that the customer needed to keep for future reference.

The altercation took place March 16, 2023 at 2:30pm CST. The employee was requested by the manager to go about his business several times. He kept running his mouth and took off his jacket, bowed up and made advances towards me from behind the counter.
