I am corresponding with U to voice my disappointment while travelling with Aeromexico a few weeks ago. Jan23 flight#AM0617 was scheduled to leave Toronto at 1:20am. We took off at 2:30am(DELAYED) going to Mexico city. Our connecting flight was Mexico city- Los Cabos. Flight #AM0378 at 8:05am.

When we booked in we were told that the flight was overbooked, that we had to wait until the next flight at 1:15pm(5hours). This flight took off at 2:30pm(DELAYED). We got to our resort (Barcelo Gran Faro) at 6pm. We wasted & lost half a day of our holiday due to overbooking & delayed flights.

I received a voucher from Aeromexico last year in October. The voucher is set to expire on October 3rd, 2023, and I have encountered some challenges in utilizing it.

I recently called to inquire about available flights from Guadalajara, Mexico to Sacramento, CA. I was informed that the only available flight was scheduled to depart on August 27. That is in a couple of days.

My grandma, who will be the passenger, is elderly and requires additional time to prepare for the journey, this short notice is highly inconvenient. August 7, 2023 our flight from Merida to Mexico City left late. Arriving in Mexico City the gentleman with the wheel chair told us we have a long way to go and not much time. We are ages 66 to 84 so he arranged wheel chairs for all of us.

On the bus the young man said he called AeroMexico and told them we were coming. We made it to the gate 5 or 6 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The lady stated that we were late and the gate was closed.

There were 4 passengers there that were on standby and she let them board after she told us the gate was closed. It was obvious they got our seats and she did not want to allow us to use our seats even though we were there prior to allowing them to board the plane.

on July 27th my flight from Veracruz to NYC with a connecting flight in Mexico city was cancelled. due to a delay flight from veracruz to Mexico city. the sad part of this ordeal was the very poor and uncaring costumer service was when i was told that i had two choices either go top mexico city ands spend the night in a hotel or go home and come back in the morning.

causing me to loose a day of work, and extra expending of about $100. bucks on traveling expenses. the desk person simply said you cant get any compensation or cab ride expense cover because its not and airline issue. I recently had a personal hydroflask and cellphone charger stolen from a back pack that I checked in during a flight from Guadalajara, Jalisco to Salt Lake City, Utah. Some one got into my back pack during the process and stole those items.

Just to let AeroMexico know that they have thieves in the bag handling department at the airport in Guadalajara. From now on my family I will avoid flying AeroMexico for ever.

I paid a row of seats for both flight’s. A total of $154 dollars. When I got to the airport, my seats were sold and we were assigned separate seats and on the other flight we were sent all the way to the back.

When we boarded, the two seats we paid were empty but they wouldn’t let my kids move to them. They will not reimburse or take responsibility. They tell you to call customer service but customer service foes not answer or will not do anything.

Your service with Aeromexico Business Class is very disappointing. I was originally booked on AM545 1657 to 1830 only to be changed to AM543 1613 to 1800 and to be downgraded from Business to AM plus on a B737 8 instead of a standard recliner seat 2 2 layout to a 3 3 layout economy seat with a middle seat blocked off.

I've flown in many Business class flights on B737 with a standard recliner seat but to change flight and plane to an economy seat is quite upsetting and disappointing. To feed your business class passengers bag of chips, nuts and one piece of chocolate is an absolute joke.

How can you treat your business class passengers like this?

In November 2021, I had to cancel a flight. The airline gave me the option for refund or credit. I chose refund. That was November 2, 2021. I requested confirmation and did not hear back. Jan 7/22, I phoned to get written confirmation.

I received an email stating "12 months refund in process since 07 January 2022". On January 23/23 I emailed to customer service. No response. I emailed 1/30/23, no response, called 02/02 was told it was to be escalated, response in 3 days. No responsse.

Feb 20, called again, was told "working on the case" will hear by email in one week. March 9 - called cutomer support line - was told 5 more business days and they escalated the case again. March 20th. I received an email that said I would receive my refund in 30-45 days.

My family and I had round trip tickets that originated from Costa Rica to Las Vegas, Nevada. On our return flight, my husband, three of our four children, and I were all checked in and ready to go. When it came to my 13 year old daughter, the ticket agent and the manager REFUSED to check her in.

Siting that Costa Rica requires a negative covid test and/or proof of vaccine.

However, the Costa Rican government does NOT require either of those things to enter the country. I booked a reservation and cancelled within 24 hours which entitles me to a complete no hassle refund.

However, the service agent told me it would take 6-8 weeks for my refund to be processed. This means 1) Aeromexico wants to use my $2,000 for 6-8 weeks and 2) I have a credit card bill statement that I am supposed to pay for a ticket that was cancelled and should not have been processed less than 24 hours after booking.

My credit card company told me there is nothing I can do except file a dispute of the charges. I fly many airlines and the 24 hour refund policy has never been a problem. Will never ever book with Aeromexico again.

Aeromexico service center works awfull. I will never use this airways. You can buy ticket by using app, but you can't cancel by using app. You have to call their call center and have to spend weeks to describe situation.

But they don't solve your problem, they will forward you to each other

I bought a two-way ticket from the Flighthub website in Montreal, Canada to Puerto Vallarta destination.

Due to some specific reasons I couldn’t arrive at my flight on time which was with Aeroméxico (on 1st March 2023), so I had to reschedule my flight for the day after.

I had a complaint about a recent flight and requested a refund. The only way to contact them for refunds was through an email address. After a long wait, I received an email response that said they couldn't or wouldn't help me.

There were 2 charges per guest added without notice. I have called back to get my money back. Fist call the rep told me she would call me back the same day with resolution.

Second call, I asked to speak to a supervisor. Per the rep the supervisor refused to come to the phone.

Third call back I was told that I need to wait 24 to 72 hrs to get my resolution wether they would refund the unapproved charges. I asked for a supervisor once again. The rep put me on hold and disconnected my call. Very POOR customer service.

I had the worst customers services experience today at Chicago O’hare airport around 10:30pm the lady who refuse to give me her name, was yelling at my parent who are 75 years old. com for Oct 19th-Oct 20th. When he went up to the counter at Aeromexico in SJO to get his boarding pass for the trip back, they told him he was not in their system and needed to buy another ticket I order to fly back, even though this was a round-trip.

If I could get any lower I would like negative stars I would be happier my complaint is that you can not get a real answer on anything I recently traveled with this airline and have yet after a week to give me an honest answer to my baggage that has been lost since August 7th it has been a full week and I am still getting that someone will contact me as soon as possible to where my baggage is at this time.

I am a 73 year old man with a heart condition. On July 9, 2022 I completed a flight (AM 4) from Paris to Mexico City While waiting for luggage in Mexico City, In the process of changing my cell phone SIM card, I lost my TelCel SIM card.

I therefore had no way to telephone the hotel for a pick up at 4 am from the airport. I sought assistance from strangers who were reluctant to help me and finally went to the AeroMexico Customer Service desk in Terminal 2.

I was greeted by Oscar Leyou Ceballa, one of your Customer Service representatives. He refused to help me, saying it was not his job to call hotels for customers. I because rather upset and angry, after traveling for 20 hours.

We purchased tickets online for a RETURN trip from Mazatlan to Manzanillo. (thru Mexico City) for March 2022. we were only doing a domestic flight with no checked bags. When we arrived there were 4 customer service people doing check in which dwindled down to 3 and then 2 and then 1.

The line did not move for a VERY long time. and worried we would miss the flight. We witnessed 2 older ladies paying a lot of cash for something... they were holding up the line.

During my flight on 2/6/2022 with Aeromexico my infant was injured on the airplane by the aircraft, I was told by aircraft they were going to take care of my minors so I could go get my stroller at gate. They said I could come off the plane and grab my stroller at gate then I was denied entrance back at the plane to get my children.

So my children were inside the plane crying and screaming for me and aircraft would not let me back in the plane to get my kids and they would bring my children out I'm either. This airline is by far one which is highly prejudice from the staff working in the airlines to the poorest service I’ve ever seen from any airline. I was intended to be upgraded on my flight to first class headed back to London from Mexico City.

The departures check in did not upgrade me using an excuse that the systems are “poor and unstable” his words used to say he could not upgrade my flight. This is the absolute worst sideline experience in my 20 years of traveling via airplane.

I would never recommend this airline to anyone of color who is African American.

I have been waiting 10 days to hear back from ANYONE regarding my lost luggage! I filed a paper claim at the Aeromexico service desk in Montreal (YUL) when I landed. Apparently, they were suppose to give my a tracking # but they failed to do so.

Your online "track you baggage" system doesn't even recognize my reservation or eticket information so I can't even file a claim online to be able to track it! com as instructed. NO ONE has contacted me and no one seems to be able to willing to help me.

I had an extra suitcase to bring back special items given to me by my aunt in Ajijic, MX so I'm missing two large pieces of luggage, one very important! On top of that I arrived in Montreal, Canada where is was -23C degree weather and had to get my car out of parking at midnight with NO winter…

Ive been traveling to Mexico twice a year and because of COVID areomexico changed my flight itinerary. The new flight doesn't work for me and they refuse to give me a full refund or reschedule my flight for another day.

On January 3rd, 2022, I arrived at the airport in Acapulco to board my flight, upon arriving at the counter at Aeromexico, I presented my negative covid test result which was sent to me by the lab just an hour prior. If I could give this 0 stars I would. I made a reservation (December 20th, 2021) for a trip back home over Christmas and was diagnosed with COVID the same day. I have been trying to cancel my flight since less than 24 hours after booking the flight (December 21st, 2021).

It is now January 3, 2022. No one I speak to on the customer support line is capable of helping me, and the email responses are all automated and do not solve my problem either. So I am not only sick with COVID, had to miss Christmas for the second year in a row, but am also now having to deal with these incompetent staff members who refuse to refund me $600+ for the flight I booked.

Last time I will EVER do business with Aeromexico. BEWARE!!!!

I flew from Mexico City to San Francisco in Aug 2021. I had left my empty purse in my luggage and I guess they liked it and they stole it. Whoever took it had the good grace to leave the pen and the hand creams in the luggage. I’ve traveling since I was a child and never experienced such thing.

I’ve called and s written to Aeromexico multiple times just to tell me that they would get back to me within 24 hours. Well, 24 hours have become 3 months. Aeromexico is not a business to serve but to steal from you!
