Garbage truck killed trees and yard. The truck company fixed what they could, then aig dropped the ball. Took forever, low balled me by offering price of 12' tree to replace 22' foot tree of different species. They lie about sending check, go on vacation, then say it can take 14 more days after over 70 already.

I have no other words to write except to say that AIG Israel has been not only unprofessional but very, very unsupportive a d unpleasant in my dealings with them since my claim 2 weeks ago. I have tried to contact the person responsible for complaints but have been unsuccessful. I requested a withdrawal from my 403b on July 5 it was received was told I needed a separation certificate I filled that one out was told that it was delayed because I filled out an in service certificate I corrected them the separation certificate was emailed July 20 they said I needed to change the wording on the subject line to get it processed quicker and it would be another 3-5 business days.

I will never deal with AIG ever again the customer service is horrible and I still haven’t got my money nor have there been any urgency to correct this matter. Worst service ever.

Would give No stars if I could. Worse company I have ever dealt with. There lab / nurse messed up information on my husband form. Delayed over four weeks. Miy own paperwork was never completed even know I did it online & thought mine was active after waiting am unexceptable amount if time waiting or them to correct my spouse.

Will look for insurance in another place. Very unhappy with whole process.

I paid for insurance for 92 days for a trip I am going to take to Canada from South Africa but when they counted up the days which then inclused the 4 days of flight, it came to 94 days. I requested a refund of my money and now I am experiencing a run-around and very bad service.

I am not receiving my refund. It is still two weeks before the trip and I have taken insurance with another company as AIG South AFrica was not able to help me according to my needs. I want my money back and i want it paid today.

00 and I sent proof of my banking details two days ago and it will be three days ago now and I am not getting any response. I will go to the ombudsman if this is not dealt with straight away

Hi my name is Barb Stonecipher,

I took out flight Insurance on 9/27/22 with AIG for a flight in December. We had to cancel the flight , due to receiving a Contract with Universal. Which meant my daughter Samantha could fly in one day and have to fly right back on Sunday to work at Universal. So I filed a claim with AIG # UC8112633792 . During the process AIG asked for certain documents.

On 11/18/22 they asked for my daughter , Samantha Stonecipher to send a email stating she would relinquish the credit, that Frontier Airlines gave her when she canceled her flight on 10/15/22. American General Life Insurance Co. I purchased 2 life insurance policies for my two daughters when they were babies. I paid on these policies through thick and thin. When we would moved to Florida I changed my address. About 15 years in, I moved and was late paying, they told me “they didn’t have a policy for my youngest daughter” I didn’t think too much about it.

She had a smaller policy and I had another policy for her with Gerber life. I paid on my older daughter for another 10 years or so. I moved and I changed addresses, I had to call and they sent me one bill in 2021, then they just quit sending me bills.

My husband broke his leg/ankle so we had to cancel our long awaited trip. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023 we submitted a claim with all necessary pertinent documentation. Almost a month later AIG requested documentation on our flights. We submitted that on March 8, 2023.

Don't know why it was requested as we were not requesting flight reimbursement. I have called multiple times with absolutely no help. I have emailed many times only to receive a standard email back with no help. This company is not helpful and no way to communicate with. You provide information to support the fact you saw a doctor on the cruise and they they want what the cruise line does not provide, detail. They give a limited report and I uploaded where I paid monthly for my trip and apparently that did not support that I paid for my trip.

They do not want to pay a simple 200 dollar claim and figure I am old and will get tired.

I submitted my claim against delayed and damaged baggage on Dec 18, 2022. I got a stereotyped email on Dec 28th asking for documents that I had already submitted (or are irrelevant) online as if they do not see and a robot just sent email.

I replied on Dec 30, 2022 mentioning that I had already submitted all documents. I listed what I submitted and asked them to let me know what they have received and what not so that I can respond specifically. " I kept on getting their emails on Jan 13, 25, Feb 17, 2023.

Every time it was the usual email as if there is no human being on that side. Even robots are intelligent these days. Every time I replied and got automatic email confirmation. I called them also at least 3 times.

I am trying to restore my insurance policy to its original amounts. The replacement policy was sold to me by an agent that was not truthful about the terms of the original policy. My policy number is 0213509851. I have kept my policy active, I just want it restored to the original amounts.

Worst Insurance Experience Ever! So Bad i would say its criminal. Never ever book a Travel Insurance with AIG! I had insurance on a Rental car booked with Expedia, had a car accident, the police determined it wasnt my faul. 1.) Filing insurance claims with AIG is the biggest nightmare, they make it as hard as possible to talk to a human being and when you actually get to one its some support person who has no clue and only tells you to wait. On Average it took 4 weeks for them to reply everytime I had a question. Meanwhile the third party insurance paid almost immediatly.

2.) Why should i pay anything at all if it wasnt my fault? Even tho the accident was not my fault, AIG tried as hard as they could to get out of paying anything. After waiting for almost a half a year, they payed me out…

I filed for a surrender of my whole life insurance policy Nov. 2022. Have been getting the run—around. Our insurance agent phoned last week and Chris stated the check was mailed over a week ago. On Friday, Feb. 19, 2023 it will be almost a month since the check was mailed.

This has been the worst experience with AIG and my next call and correspondence will be to the CEO if I have not received payment within the next 2 days.

AIG Claim UC1131081014 travel ins. for trips dates 2/23/2023 through /14/2023 date of loss 12/13/2022

I sent documents tio AIG On paper form which they received 12/289/2022. Whoever received the documents has not uploaded them to the claims adjuster. The claims adjiuster called me to confirm that. Whenever I call Claims the tell me they will make a notation of this. But documents are still not uploaded to the adjuster. I keep calling claims and they tell me the same thing. They will make a notation. But no one at AIG uploads the documents to the adjuster. I keep getting emails telling me to send the claim documents to AIG. Unless someone at AIG uploads the documents to the adjuster, the claim cannot be processed. Can anyone follow through on this properly?

First they sent me a policy that had another Craig Donahue with a completely different address and city.Around Sept 2023 I increased my face amount,now this is 1/2023 and I never received a new policy or policy number and my premiums have gone up $30 but the face amount remains the same.When I call for help,the customer service agent tries to sell me another policy with another company.They all say they can't help me and refer me to my agent who's ghosting me!

I had insurance on my retirement trip to Wyoming. My companion had a great job opportunity in Florida. I was told I had insurance so I cancelled our trip. AIG coverage is so limited. I thot you bought insurance in case something happened. I bought it.

I cancelled due to having tour coverage. If I did. It even have it I would have gone on the trip. I lost my snowmobile rental money also. All in all I lost nearly four thousand dollars due to your terrible coverage. Thank you for nothing.

My sister was on her death bed and we really needed funding to get her the care she needed, medical supplies, special foods, etc. AIG claims they have the Live Benefit you can tap into for a terminal illness, but you will literally die waiting for it.

They will send you letters that take two weeks to come, they never call and they have the worst customer service when you call because you have no idea what is going on. After several personnel telling me different requirements, I finally figured out that they needed additional medical records despite the fact that a doctor had signed and verified that my sister had less than 6 months to live.

My best friend died this year. She made me one of her beneficiaries. I have been waiting for a check since September. I have called 8 times. They have told me that they sent out a check 2 different times.

I have never received it. I have been waiting 18 days since the last check was supposedly mailed out. I called today, and was on hold for over an hour waiting to speak to a supervisor. I finally gave up for today.

I am getting nothing but the run around from this company. I am on disability, so I will be calling Legal Aide tomorrow. I have NEVER dealt with a company this horrible!!! What more can I do??

AIG actually took out a policy payment from my bank account on someone else's policy!! I have called, secured messaged, and still getting told it take 7 to 10 days to process. It was taken out on Nov 3, I secured messaged on Nov 7, and called twice.

After weeks of trying to process a life insurance claim and was told that the check would be direct deposited, I was told that it was not approved for direct deposit and that the check was mailed out. I then found out it was mailed to the wrong address!!

, would always end up in a 7 to 10 day waiting period to process. My deceased loved one died back in August and thank God we were not waiting on these funds to bury him. I have never in my life dealt with a insurance company like this one and hope that I never have to again.

I bought travel insurance for a trip planned in September. We had to cancel the week before due to work purposes. I assumed this would be covered and sent in all the required documents, including a letter from employer stating the decline of vacation.

I sent this info to AIG in early September. Never had any communication, except stating they were behind getting claims processed. I logged on a week ago to look at status and it said closed. I never received any emails, letter, texts or phone calls pertaining to this decision.

As a paying customer of Apple care I am very disappointed in the service that AIG provides. This process has been horrible and very inconvenient. I lost my phone on October 23 and put a claim in on October 25th with hopes someone would return it.

It is now November 9th and still nothing has changed for my claim. Every time I have called they have no new information and when i ask to speak to a manager I am put on hold just to be told that a manger is not available and i will receive a call back in a hour concerning the case….

A call back is never made. This has happened over 5 times where I am told the same thing. Your website says the process takes 2 days to complete but we are informed by the workers that it is 3-5 business days.

My iPhone was stolen and I filed a paid insurance claim through AIG. Below is from the companies website:

"We will contact you within 2 business days with details about your claim.Your card will not be charged until your claim has been approved"

I had Travel insurance with AIG. I had flight from Atlanta to Ahmedabad India for December. I'm a Type-1 diabetic ie. completely insulin dependent. When my doctor got to knew about this, he cleared advised that travelling for long hours is dangerous to my health. I purchased travel insurance through AIG for a trip in June 2022. Unfortunately I had to cancel my trip as I had COVID, I submitted my claim with a letter explaining my situation and a time stamped COVID test for the dates in question.

I was denied the $170 I should have received for the claim. I filed a Letter of Appeal, which was also denied stating I need a physicians letter. You are not able to make a physicians appt when you have COVID as you are advised to stay home.

I would like to complaint about the worthless AIG travel insurance that I purchased for my trip to Tampa. My airline cancelled my flight, so my trip was delayed, none of my doing, right? I had purchased coverage for trip cancelation and delay, and thought that my resort fees would be covered due to this unforeseen delay.

AIG denied my claim and my appeal. So, what good this company? now that don't cover it. I will never use AIG travel insurance or book any flight or resort through Expedia. They are scamming all of us, just trying to get your money and hoping that you will never need it. Scam, scam, scam!

My claims adjuster Wanda Wright-Elliot is the worse. Not helpful at all. Next time I will just keep my money. Terrible company.

I called AIG Annuity Customer Service to request a loan from my annuity. I received a copy of my policy, not the loan papers. Since July 5, I have called AIG almost on a daily basis with a typical reply being, we will mail it and it should arrive in 10 days, we will sent the loan papers vis UPS and you [me] should arrive arrive by Friday; finally on Friday, I was told the papers should arrive by email in 30 minutes! I purchased AIG’s travel insurance. My trip was to run from May 13, 2022 through May 25, 2022. On April 24, 2022 my mother was diagnosed with cancer. She needed surgery to remove it. The doctor told us it was best not to put it off and tentatively scheduled the surgery for May 13, 2022.

We were also told she would need around the clock care after a 4-6day stay in the hospital. I immediately canceled my trip and filed a claim against the insurance company. Their website says we will be contacted in 10 - 15 business days in regards to a claim.

I could not believe that after I waited 25 minutes on hold, the representative that answered the phone decided to transfer me back to the automatic message line because her child started to cry in the back end. What type of business are you conducting?

I waited until 1:06:46, and nobody came back to help me. Another issue that I hate about your company is no professionalism at all.
