I have been reaching out to AIG for a month by calling and leaving voicemails and writing an email. I have been waiting for Kenny Holder to call me back to help have my 401(k) rolled over. However, they have not called me back.

I decided to go through the public number to try and have another representative help me accomplish this task. After waiting 40 minutes to speak with someone, they told me that I need to continue the process with Kenny Holder who does not return my calls and email.

I have until March 22 to get this rollover completed, yet no one at AIG will go the extra mile to help me out.

I am the beneficiary of my late mother's life insurance policy . She passed in March 2021. After jumping through numerous hoops and dozens of e-mails that went unanswered, I received partial payment in Feb. 2022. A week after I deposited the checks in my account I was notified by my bank that the checks had been cancelled by AIG. No explanation.

They say they cannot answer me by e-mail and give a toll-free number. S. and It is IMPOSSIBLE TO CALL A TOLL FREE NUMBER FROM ABROAD. I have requested a regular tel. no. so I can contact them numerous times to no avail.

They have been jerking me around for almost a year. Their customer service is the most lame I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

If you are a beneficiary to an AGI (now owned by AIG) account, prepare to have the most drawn out and clustered process. 1)You can't get statements (they only mail one quarterly to the executor of the account, which isn't detailed and entails the entire account (not specific to your transactions with the account) because with multiple beneficiaries, they keep all of you under the decedent's account without providing individual account numbers.

2) They won't tell you a balance even over the phone. 3) I requested a mailed statement-been a month and haven't received it. 4) You can't transfer money or easily get it paid to you. I requested a withdrawal via ACH deposit 10 business days ago (they said it should take 7-10 business days).

After finally getting someone on the line to make a payment the guy that was supposedly helping me I requested to be transferred to another representative. After telling me they didn't have the payment information. I requested another representative he told me that they don't do that.

After giving me what turned out to be fraudulent name and I'd number hung up. Called back after another lengthy wait another person finally answered. Found my payment information but when I tried to file a complaint she wouldn't transfer me to a supervisor and hung up

Their customer service call center and email operations is a joke. They tell you to send documents to an email for review and they never show up, even though they show the document loaded onto my account. The call center can only read from a script and cannot answer questions or solve problems.

Worse company I have ever dealt with. Can’t wait to get my assets out of there.

Was denied reimbursement because of “pre-existing “ condition. Was diagnosed with Breast Cancer beginning of 2019. Had double mastectomy in May 2019. Had 4 rounds of chemo starting end of June 2019…after first round development an infection and my white blood count dropped to dangerously low number.

my doctor told me you can’t fly and then Covid hit. I want my money back. Help.

Claim 1356305 through Mexico City

Our car has now been impounded for over 8 weeks. We have admitted liability and the police say we cannot get our car out of impound until you pay the claimant. I became an insurance adjuster and supervisor in 1972. I cannot fathom how you have not paid property damage with admitted liability in over 8 weeks. We need to get our car appraised so that we can drive it back to the states.

We processed everything you asked for in a timely manner. Now please pay our claim including rental reimbursement and translation (legal fees) incurred at you request

My grandmother passed away on Dec 2020 and i am still fighting this lying company about the funds they owe her beneficiaries. I have been trying to contact someone for a whole year and still the same lie it is processing.

I gave all the paperwork they ask for and still nothing. I would never get any insurance from this company

My brother and I were named as beneficiaries on an insurance policy that my mother had maintained before she passed away last February. My brother send me a form to complete and we each sent in our notarized forms to AIG.

About one week later, I received a letter in the mail from AIG stating that my form was not complete and that I should fill out the enclosed form.

However, there was nothing else in the envelope but an empty return envelope. I called AIG and a woman emailed a new form which I again filled out and sent in. Another week went by, and I received the same nonsense in the mail with the same form letter and another empty return envelope.

I copied the same form (again) and sent it in (again). Guess what? One week later, I got the same stupid letter. I called AIG (again) and…

My husband passed away on 5/27. I have been trying since 6/24 to file a claim. On 6 24 I was told I would be emailed forms to complete. Never received them. Called back 2 weeks later. A very RUDE agent told me again she would email me the forms. No email was received.

Finally got forms in mail. Completed the claimants statement. Attached copy of death certificate and faxed it to aig. Got another letter today saying you need a claimants statement completed. I called to see why the first one was not accepted.

Was told I needed to complete a 9 page claimant statement. Why do you keep sending me 3 page forms if it is not acceptable??? As far as I am concerned this is just a stall tactic! Claim # is 002104929

I just spoken to a floor supervisor in addressing my complaint aout the handling of my claim so horrible. I was injured on my job feb 22 2018 had sugery may 31 2018 and after a while sent to rehab for therapy oct 12 2018 to10 09 2019 and was told (AIG) won't pay the miles because we didn't take shortest route and that does not make any sense,sense we did not know anything about it, just one we were recommend to.

I purchased travel insurance for airline tickets. AIG refuses to pay on claim. My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer on 5/21/2019. Because he had a cat scan which showed a mass on 4/29/19. He was not diagnosed at that time.

He has since developed stage 4 lung cancer and cannot travel. I bought the insurance on 5/4/19 in case we weren’t able to travel. Sure a mass was seen but no diagnosis was made until after biopsy on 5/17/19. I believe AIG is wrong. In this case.

I will not purchase AIG again. And I will make sure everyone knows how deplorable AIG has been with my claim.

AIG is marketed as a high-end carrier with an A+ rating that settles claims quickly and fairly. My experience with them has been just the opposite. As a member of their Private Client Group, I expected a quick, fair settlement of a claim on my high-end home in Manhattan. ).

During that time, portions of my home have been unusable. I am deeply disappointed in the way I have been treated by the company. The adjuster assigned to my claim made mistakes from day one, and the amount offered to settle the claim on damage is so far off from what it will cost me to repair and restore, it's insulting.

I purchased an AIG policy for a home that it took me a decade to build and perfect based on the understanding that they were the best high-end carrier out there. I will not make that mistake again.…

I bought my life insurance for my 3 kids 10 years ago. when I purchased a product I asked my agent I want to get a whole life for my kids, my agent promised to me that what she going to sell a whole life insuarace to me.

I trusted her because she my agent and my English was not good enough to go through all the details. And now I have new agent tell me that the policy i got was not whole life. I am very disappointed and frustrated because that a lot of money I paid for the last 10 years and turn out that not a product I wanted to pirchased .

Had tax issue with the IRS before we book our trip to Shreveport La, we under the impression from the tax professional that we hire that the issue would be resolved in a couple of months. Be due to the government shutdown are case has not be settle yet.

So we were force to cancel our trip due to fact that we don't know how much of the taxes levy against us we may have to pay. File a claim with AGI and the claim was denied, so now we are out of 300 some dollars.

Maybe that my seem like nothing to a big company like AGI but to working people like us it quite a bit of money. Thanks for nothing AGI, will never use you company again.

I received a letter dated July 24, 2018 indicated an overpayment for Critical Illness coverage during my enrollment. It stated a refund as a recent audit was due as a result of the high premium. I called in August and I spoke to your representative and they were unable to provide a date of the funds to be sent to me.

I called In September an they would look into and give me a callback. Well, I never received a call and I call in October spoke with a supervisor and he had no answer and he would return my call.

Again, I never received a call, so I call in November and spoke with a supervisor and he indicated the check was placed in my account. I asked what account you have no knowledge of where I bank, he couldn't provide me the information and stated he would look into it and get back to me…

I am a disabled Veteran whom (during the month of April, had undergone a culmination of back surgery and fusion procedures. When purchasing my tickets, I purchased the insurance policy in the case that the complication would prevent me from attending my Mother's 75th Birthday in November.

Lo and behold, while being under consult for surgical problems with the Neurology Department at the VA Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, was totally contradictory from the lists of medical conditions listed on the online AIG complaint form. To put it colloquially, "There was not a listing for surgery let alone surgical complications, so I had to put it under the umbrella of sickness.

I will never try to attempt to do business with AIG again, ever

I tried to cancel a life insurance annuity policy 2 days after the agent came to my house and suckered me into getting it. I tried checking online but there was no record of the policy. I called the agent to cancel the policy. He said to wait until I received the policy in the mail then call and cancel. I waited 2 weeks for the information in the mail. I called the day it was received. Again, there was a lot of web searching before anyone could find the policy. I was then told to contact the agent that sold the policy in order to have it canceled. First off, I have a policy number in my namve, and they tell me I cannot ask question unless they TALK to my husband. Usually it is just providing the correct info, not listening to a voice, I could have had the man next to me impersonate him.

What kind of policy is that? Seriously 2nd she kept saying they did not receive any info- 4 friken times. I had to tell her to shut up after repeating for the 3rd time that we got your letter stating that you ONLY removed the bank auto pay.

I have an AIG insurance policy that payment is due quarterly. I opted not to have message sent to me by e mail regarding my payments. I have asked for a paper billing quarterly to be sent to my address.

All phone calls said they would send out in a week. It is now a month on the 3rd call for this payment due Feb 14. Who can get action on this if not corporate? Has anyone found a good way to file a complaint online against AIG and get satisfaction?

I have cancelled my vehicle insurance with AIG in Dubai, UAE. I was supposed to receive my refund back within one week as per their customer service, which they have stated on an email. It has been a month for now, and I have not received the refund from the corporate offices. They do not reply to my emails anymore either. They do not answer my calls to support.

It is the worst customer experience that has ever happened to me since in moved to Dubai six years ago, and I hope that people understand what type of company this is. If you happen to have the claims department address I would appreciate it. After hours of searching on their website www.aig.com I have not yet found a number that has a human answering on the other line. There are only robots and long waits.
