My flight AC8062 from Vancouver to Kamloops on December 7th, 2023 at 9:20pm I experienced substandard customer service by both flight attendants on flight. The male attendant was rude when I was inconvenienced by someone being in my seat. Him and the female attendant decided without my consent that I would just sit in the seat the other passenger was supposed to be in.

I pre-booked my seat specifically and was not happy I was not even given an option. Between the snarky comment that the male attendant made to me in front of other passengers and the dismissive way my seating was handled I was very disappointed with my experience on this flight.

The flight double booked my and my companions seats. Someone was already sitting in our seats but had the same number assigned. I even showed them the boarding pass on my phone, and their printed ticket had the same #.

We showed this to the flight attendants, who got assistance from a lady/employee we saw at the gate. I did not catch her name but she had a red vest on, glasses and looked to be south Asian. She told us our seats were in row 20 as opposed to row 18, which is fine.

But I wanted to make her aware that the seats had been double booked and tried to show here the boarding pass I had, multiple times to address the problem in the future, and she was dismissive and very rude! I purchased 3 all inclusive packages on Aug 23, 2023 for my son, his girlfriend and friend with my credit card. Everything was fine. Confirmations were sent by Air canada that reservations were booked. On Sept 15 day of departure, they get to the counter and are informed that the transaction was declined by my bank.

My son immediately called me. I then proceeded to call my bank and they guaranteed me that Air Canada were paid in full. The flight was scheduled for 8:15 am. Their office only opens at 8:00 so this resulted in them missing their flight.

As my son called Air Canada as they opened, they also told him that it was my bank that declined the payment and they got no money. I again called my bank and they supplied me with authorizations and told me to send them my bank statement. My…

When we left Punta Cana on August 4th 2023, to fly into Toronto Pearson airport to catch a connecting flight to Deer Lake,NL, we missed our connecting flight because of delays in Punta Cana and in Toronto. Our flight was delayed approximately an hour in Punta Cana, and was supposed to arrive in Toronto with an hour and a half before our connecting flight to Deer Lake, but

before we even got off of the plane in Toronto, we had a rescheduled flight itinerary for another flight to leave at 9:30 am the next morning, August 5th. My Refund has not been processed after 3 months.

As per the mail received , the amounts were to be credited within a maximum of 2 billing cycle of my credit card. However, even after 4 cycles the amount is not reflected on my credit card.

I am trying to speak at the call centre and despite holding for more than 1 hour on an international line , it was not picked / transfered to an agent. Flight cancellation at last minute. Our Booking Ref: 6PVDRF 19/7/2023 :AC 311 was cancelled when we were at the departure gate. Paid CAD 90/- excess baggage fee. Had to be in a que for 5 hours to get our accommodation/transport at YUL airport.

We had to get our baggage with us again. We were rebooked to Sydney via Tokyo and MEL and MEL/SYD. (QF 418). We were anxious and inconvenienced due to this last minute flight cancellation at Montreal airport. The agent did not comply with the regulation requiring AC to state the technical issue which they used to turn down the claim.

I am writing to inform you of my horrendous experience with Air Canada while traveling with an autistic child. On July 18th, 2023 we flew from Atlanta to Toronto with Air Canada. At the check-in in Atlanta - the counter clerk forced me to check my two carry-on bags since the plane was full and I conformed to it. Once we landed in Toronto we were held on the plane for an hour due to lack of docks to deplane. In this process, I unfortunately missed my connecting flight to Munich, Germany. Bereavement fare. My Mother passed away in South Korea on July 15 so I need a flight ticket urgently I tried to buy it Call center to get bereavement fare but call line was busy all the time so I had to buy it on line and then provide them with Death Certificate after furneral.

But they refused me bereavement fare cause I bought it on line. It was impossible to buy it on call line cause line was buy busy all the time. This policy does not make sense. I have to buy ticket on call center but it is impossible.

Horrible experince. These guys cancelled the flight and gave me and my wife a credit. I am unable to use my wifes credit as they have weird rules that they have limited flights to certain locations and their alliance network does not oblige to these credits.

If I call their customer service, you would have to wait for 4 hours to talk to their agent and they route you to a complaint link from which you would routed back to their customer service. There is no end to this agony.

In one of their flights, they lost my both checkin and carry on baggage and they have not yet responded to my issues. This is the worst airline and would not recommend anyone to use them. They do not have a solution to the problems that they create and eventually you are chasing them with no resolutions.

AC cancelled my flight and offered an unacceptable make up flight - The flight in issue was the first leg in a 24hr flight sequence (single ticket, but multiple carriers) - The make flight wad 6.8 hours earlier -- at 6 am meaning a 4:30 arrival at the airport and a much longer day - The issue is they would not offer a credit for the flight if I chose to use alternate travel for that segment or even some credit if i chose and alternate downgrade service. Basically it was a money grab when offering a lesser service.

I was on the 303 flight from Montreal to Vancouver today. I asked for a can of coke three times. ” I stated to him that this was rude and you should not comment on how much someone. ” He continued to write how customers should be drinking water on the flight.

He also made several similar comments to customers ordering alcohol or other carbonated beverages. I was quite disgusted at the level of unprofessionalism. He made me feel embarrassed and I couldn’t wait to get off the flight. As someone who is obese, I don’t need that kind of disrespect from a flight attendant who is there to attend to me and other passengers.

Dr. Fouad Mikhail (84 years old) and his wife (77 years old) were reserving a wheelchairs. In their trip from LAX to Cairo with a transit in Montreal, they asked for their wheelchair but they refused to provide them with any. Dr. Fouad (with a visual impairment, open heart surgery)and his wife Nabila (with a pacemaker in the heart) have to walk the whole way till the departure terminal. As a consequence, Dr. Fouad fell from the electric escalator and suffered from pain and bruises. Also, his wife was about to fell on him but they stopped the escalator to help him to stand up again and prevent his wife from falling too! I am writing to file a complaint with Air Canada and to document my family’s terrible experience with your airline on a recent trip. We booked all of these flights directly with Air Canada in March, several months prior to our travel.

On Monday, July 3rd, myself, my husband, our daughter and her husband, were heading to a family vacation, traveling from Portland, OR to Norway and Denmark. We flew on Air Canada to Chicago, then to Toronto and on the Copenhagen. Our flight to Copenhagen was almost three hours late, and we missed our connecting flight that was to take us on to Bergen, Norway. Because it was with a different airline, there were no options other than to repurchase tickets, totaling $850.

I have complements NOT complaints. Traveling with 3 other family members, our flight from YYZ Toronto airport on 7/18/23 to the USA was canceled causing three of us to miss a day of work and one an appointment.

However, a great customer service rep, Dina Abdulkareem was not only outstanding in listening to us but also providing the best option so we could all stay together on an onward flight. She was pleasant, smiled throughout the process and never wavered until we were satisfied.

In my opinion, she demonstrated what optimum customer service looks like. Whatever process Air Canada used to identify such a star should be continued. For 3 days I cannot book a flight for my 8 person family as the website of AC does not work as it supposed to work and unfortunately, because I am a Privilege TD Visa card owner( I was stupid to apply for this card paying $600 annualy - no priviledge service!!!) and Aeroplan member I have to be with AirCanada for this year... I wish could go with WestJet. Their president is making 1MLN a month but they dont have money to develop the working site that could be customer friendly. I tried to call customer support and TD concierge. All of them are useless. All they said after 2 hours waiting on the phone to pay them $30 for their reservation over the phone.

Now I am listening again the music while waiting for another "great customer service rep" probably for another 2 hours. Ridiculous.

I want to file this complaint with your airlines as I had a horrible experience and I am still recovering from this experience. I left st. John's on July 6th, 2023 to fly to Frankfrut Germany. The flight with Air Canada was 4 hours! Then they lost my luggage. On my return, I had to stay overnite in Germany as I could not get out to catch my connecting flight because of delays once again. Because of my emotional stress and anxiety I became very ill and still recovering from this. Hi, I have a complaint. I had a flight booked at 21:50 for London-Heathrow. I reached the Pearson airport at 8:00pm, but all the boarding was closed. I was informed by the reservation office and local staff that boarding was already closed at 7:00pm due to overbooking, and they did not let me board my flight.

I tried to book the next upcoming flight at 23:40 with the help of the reservation office, but that flight was also overbooked with no remaining seats. This caused me enormous frustration, and I lost $1500 for this booking plus subsequent tour bookings I had in the UK valuing over $2000.

Several complaints, horrible travel day! My son left his iPad on our first flight of the day. We literally tracked it to a nearby gate close to our 2nd flight and no air Canada rep would help us retrieve it.

Instead they gathered to chat about their Friday night plans. A flight crew member was very rude when I approached the bathroom at the front of the plane. She got right in my face, forcing me to walk backwards halfway back to my seat before I could turn around to walk safely.

I get that the front bathroom needed to be cleared for the pilot, but her approach was dangerous and not right. I nearly fell over and felt humiliated by her. All eyes in me in that moment and it was awful.

I am just after stepping off a flight from Toronto to dublin business class. The flight service was AWFUL. When paying for business class customers deserve the extra pampering. Staff were rude and arrogant, I am not a person who asks for much but this was just appalling.

I asked staff members to wake me up for breakfast, I woke up 50 mins prior to landing (in which I was travelling straight to work) I asked them why they didn’t wake me up they said we forgot, nothing we can do now. When ordering my main course I can’t eat cheese or butter dishes the only dish I could eat was the beef, with 4 people ordering it in front of me there was none left for everyone else in the class.

We received notice on Sunday June 4th, 2023 that a close relative in Germany was very ill, possibly dying. On the same day we used Air Canada online to arrange for return flights - Ottawa to Hamburg.

The search criteria was for 2 people with outgoing flights on June 6th, 2023 from Ottawa, On - Hamburg Germany.... A number of options appeared and we settled on flights leaving Ottawa in the afternoon and arriving in Hamburg by 10am the next morning.... We were scheduled to travel today by AIR Canada at 12 PM EST at Toronto Pearson INTL airport. We are travelling to BOSTON to attend a special event. There was a sudden announcement that the flight is delayed by 3 hours. We are diabetic and starved now as no proper meals are available at the airport. The basic food here is very pricey. AIR Canada should provide an alternate arrangement for these delayed flights to its customers. along with food and rest area.

Air Canada had a over 2 hour delay at Montreal Airport due to A BLOCKED TOILET. Should someone do regular maintenance or cleaning? The manager told me we will still be on time at Calgary for me to get my connecting flight.

( No we were NOT) However she also said watch a movie and relax. If I want to watch a movie I stay home and watch TV. When I pay a lot of money for an airline ticket I want to fly on time to my destination.

On Wednesday 7th June 2023, when I was checking-in to board your Air Canada flight AC870 departing Montreal to Paris, I faced an unusual situation that put me under extreme stressful conditions for almost two hours, keeping me uncomfortably worrisome throughout the rest of my long journey and thereafter for several days, for fear of losing my passport.

Was booked on flight #1740 to Veradero Cuba June 1 2023 scheduled for 9:05AM Flight boarded on time but we sat on tarmac for approx 3 hours then told to de-plane. We were given only a $20 food voucher ( sandwich can cost that much ). Our final boarding didn't take place until approx 4:30 PM. Many people lost a whole day of a very short vacation. We were told what the problem was but I don't consider it a problem beyond the airlines control. Please explain the actual problem in more detail and address compensation under the new passenger rights law.

On the return flight #1741 on June 8 the aircraft was late arriving in Varadero by approx 3-4 hours. Please address the issue as above.

Good afternoon on June 4 I had a flight from Tel Aviv to Toronto and from there to Miami the flight was fine but The attitude and the service for the flight attendant was disgusting I was sitting in the aisle during the flight and I got punched by the food service table and they also poured orange juice on me.

The lady apologized because she realized that she was not focused and also leading the table properly was not that why I got punched in the shoulder all the time I’m so disappointed I lost my suitcase I got it after 24 hours all my personal stuff was there that I need my medicine baby food that I bring to my daughter it was a nightmare this flight it was very hard for me to write this complain about air Canada I really love this Airline hopefully I’m going to hear from you soon to…

They automatically changed my moncton flight and when i went to air acnada desk at toronto airport at d45 at 6pm the indian lady was super rude she literally dont know whats is customer service air canada is definitely loosing there clients with this service

2 complaints about my luggage: 1. We are 6 passengers checked-in at AC105 on May 5,2023. One luggage was missing that we found out when we reached our final destination. I went back to Philippine Airlines, our connecting flight, that I thought it was their fault and I filed a complaint.

Until they found out that the luggage was transported by Air Canada to Incheon Int'l Airport. So PAL did all the necessary assistance for me to get my luggage. I recover my luggage on May 19, 2023. There are important stuff that I supposed to use from that luggage on May 12th but failed to do so due to this incident.

Air Canada canceled our flight and did not inform us.Thanks with the help of the agent at the Airport in the country we were stranded who issued us a new ticket and we flew with Air France. Air Canada refused to refund us. The air canada agent is not responding to our email.

I have been flying with the same carry in bag for the past five years. This morning at the Toronto airport I was told that I had to check it in due to size by an air Canada employee!
